Fantastic experience: I found this place because of all the great reviews! The office staff is extremely kind and welcoming. The whole place was extremely clean! My son Kingston just turned 13 years old. He is high on the spectrum of Autism and non verbal. His dental assistant made him feel very comfortable, he was watching Toy Story while getting his teeth checked out. He had a comfortable and even enjoyable experience! His Dentist, Denae Kirkpatrick was amazing with Kingston as well. She was very proficient and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this place!

My girls have been seeing Dr. Whitfield for years now, and he always makes them feel comfortable, no matter the procedure. Dr Whitfield and all of the staff have made my girls enjoy going to the dentist. If you are looking for a dentist for your kids, this is the place to be!

Fantastic experience: We love Edmond Pediatric and Teen Dentistry. We have gone for several years and they have made going to the dentist such a positive experience for my kids. We recently had to have an extraction and the whole team was wonderful at making sure my child felt comfortable from start to finish. Hannah did a phenomenal job ensuring there would be no pain and explained what she was doing every step of the way, putting my child at ease. Dr. Eckroat has always been so kind and wonderful at explaining everything. He has a great rapport with the kids and gies out of his way to ensure a positive visit.

Fantastic experience: We’ve been to this practice for years and they are absolutely the best. They know my kids and have watched them grow up. Outside referrals have been informed, and to really good folks. My 13 yo daughter wants to be (a vet not a dentist but) like Dr Whitfield when she practices someday. As a physician, I know this is one of the best, safest and most conscientious practices in Oklahoma. Their practice is efficient and kind, and designed to make kids comfortable.

Fantastic experience: Waited less than 5 mins! Dr Whitfield was great with my daughter and definitely had her best interest in mind. When other dentists could’ve found reasons to do fillings, he reasoned that they can remineralize with the right products.

Fantastic experience: Again a five star experience! We drive from Dallas to see Dr. Ekroat. He always takes time to catch up since our last visit. We never feel rushed and the staff has always been so friendly! Been going for 11 years now!

Fantastic experience: My 4 kids see Dr. Whitfield and he has always done a phenomenal job with them. They actually look forward to going to dentist, which speaks for itself! My daughter recently had her wisdom teeth taken out and they have their own oral surgeon on the premises. The process was so easy and seamless! The whole medical team from Dr. Whitfield to the anesthesiologist, to the oral surgeon was amazing! We were in and out so fast, and my daughter had little pain and swelling. I was so impressed with their expertise and professionalism. We LOVE Edmond Pediatric & Teen Dentistry!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful facility all around!! We’ve been going here for years. We see Dr. Eckroat, my kids love him! Phenomenal bedside manner and awesome with kids! He is conservative with treatment, but stays on top of issues that may develop. I never feel rushed, he is happy to answer all of my questions. His staff are all equally as great! The ladies are always patient and understanding with our youngest who struggles during our visits. We’ve also been seen for same day emergency situations. My daughter had a procedure that Dr. Cromwell assisted with. He was excellent! Very thorough before treatment and with recovery. We were extremely pleased with his care. Highly recommend all of the doctors without hesitation

She is afraid of everything BUT this dentist! Absolutely THE best dentist for kids. My 4 year old loves it here. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Fantastic experience: This is our second time using Edmond Pediatric and Teen dentistry. They did fantastic with our first who has severe dentist anxiety and so we decided to bring our youngest as well. All the staff are professional, kind, and answer any questions you have. It's an hour and a half drive from us but so worth it!

The Doctors do an excellent job explaining and presenting parents with multiple treatments options. We drive over an hour one way for visits and we don’t mind it a bit.

Fantastic experience: We absolutely love Edmond Pediatric and teen dentistry. Their entire staff is amazing and so accommodating to our family. We have been seeing Dr. Dirk for 3 years now. He is great with my kiddos and gives us his undivided attention each time we are there. He gives great tips and tricks for the kiddos with their brushing habits. If you have not been in to see Dr. Dirk and his staff you are missing out. My kiddos also love the staff and environment that they provide. Overall their establishments is a 10 out of 10.

Negative experience: Be very careful: if you are in a situation that your child has a SoonerCare dental plan, they only take insurance for surgeries and treatments. You cannot go there for routine exams, since they don’t take the insurance (IMO they shouldn’t be allowed to pick and choose), and they are not allowed to take cash payments, either.

Fantastic experience: We love this dentist group! They are fun, engaging, and gentle. The care seems very trauma-informed and they always ask my kids before doing anything. We have been seen here for years for everything from routine cleanings and minor fillings, to extensive work on preschoolers with anesthesia. Every single time we feel cared for, respected, and safe.

Fantastic experience: They are Awesome, I have been taking my kids here for many years and have never had a bad experience, all of the dentist and techs I have encountered have been very professional. They go out of their way to make sure every kid is comfortable. I recommend them to anyone asking for a good dentist for their kids.

Fantastic experience: I was very nervous about taking my 3 year old to her first visit to the dentist. Turns out I had nothing to worry about. Dr. Eckroat and his staff were beyond amazing! They were able to keep my daughter completely calm the entire visit. Dr. Eckroat was thorough when explaining what what to expect during the visit and what to expect during future visits. My daughter chose a “ few” toys when leaving the appointment and opted to stay in the waiting room and play for 15 minutes afterwards. Overall, it was a perfect first dental visit.

Fantastic experience: I needed the best of the best for a delicate procedure for my 18 month old at the time, I was new to the state and basically started interviewing dental offices in search of a place that I felt comfortable taking my baby. It's been 7 years now with 4 kids, and MY KIDS LOVE TO GO. THEY CAN NOT WAIT TO see Dr. Whitfield and his staff. EVERYONE is gentle and knowledgeable. 1)I have had a lot of dental experiences, and I have never met a staff that puts so much positive energy and comfortability in a field that holds so much fear to most kids and even adults. I always get more than one treatment plan, which is INCREDIBLE. I get options, EVERY CONCERN I HAVE IS HEARD AND addressed with patience, and understanding. THERE IS NO EGO WAR if you have any questions. THIS PLACE FEELS LIKE FAMILY. 2)THEY HAVE VIDEO GAMES IN THE LOBBY, computers, THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SEASONAL DECOR throughout, (it's a winter wonderland right now), televisions on the roof of the exam rooms, PRIZES JUST LIKE AN ARCADE, sunglasses during treatment... If there is a way to make a child or their parents feel comfortable coming to the dentist, they figured out the secret formula, because I have never seen a scared kid while I was there. 3)Everything is clean, there is plenty of space, and it is always the warmest welcome ever. It is worth the 45-minute drive for the peace of mind that my kids are in the best hands. Thank You Doctor Whitfield and your incredible staff. There is nowhere else we would rather be!

Fantastic experience: Almost no wait time, staff was all pleasant and accommodating. My youngest is particularly difficult with sensory needs and everyone was patient and wonderful with him. I was impressed with their methods. My other two kiddos were seen at the same time so I didn’t have to be there for hours and I appreciate that everyone realized that because it’s hard for kids to wait their turn. My kids had a great experience overall and I love that they aren’t afraid to go back.

Fantastic experience: Another AMAZING experience at Edmond Pediatric & Teen Dentistry this week! My son had a few stubborn baby teeth that he would not let go of. He said the only way he would is if Dr. Heath Whitfield would pull them for him! After a few appointments, surgery was scheduled within the same week! We arrived early and met with Dr. Cromwell the anesthesiologist and Dr. Whitfield. They both made him feel extremely comfortable and he was not scared at all. By the time he went back, he was already done before my husband’s coffee was ready in the private waiting room area! We sat with him in the recovery room while they monitored his vitals and as soon as he woke up, they gave him a popsicle and let him choose 2 toys from the treasure box! I definitely recommend Edmond Pediatric & Teen Dentistry. They are the best!
