Negative experience: HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!! They say they’re spectrum friendly and they are NOT!!!! In fact they label them as UNCOOPERATIVE PATIENTS!!!! Every single person in there is unprofessional!!!

Fantastic experience: First time in and enjoyed the experience. I took three of my kiddos in for a check up. Dr. M is really sweet and friendly. The waiting room provides entertainment for the kids like a movie and tablets. For new clients we received a plushy, additionally they offered a toy, and a balloon. I made the appointment just one day before, I was surprised because my previous dentist was a least a month out. They sent me the forms to fill out before arrival so check in was really easy and quick. I over all appreciated the honesty.

Fantastic experience: They are super crowded but they work it well they run a tight ship which is lovely the doctor is always so kind and informative, the staff are nice and accommodating and we go to meet the orthodontist and she was just as great excited to be back with the dental fun zone

My kids and I finally enjoy visiting the dentist. So if you are in need of a good children's dentist, please come to Children's dental Fun Zone, in Fontana. I highly recommend them. These ladies are doing an amazing job. They are so caring and gentle, they truly make my children and I feel comfortable.

Fantastic experience: Children fun zone is been my both boys dental for the last 2 years, we r so happy wz the staff, doctors and their accommodations for appointments Today we started wz them our ortho journey wz our oldest and thank God we choose them after 2 or 3 different opinions. Staff and doctor wz very kind and patient with my 9 years old,took him very slowly showing him images and making sure he s comfortable, when he asks for a 2 sec doctor gave him that,they r not rushing u at all.im so glad wz dental fun zone and I recommend them big time

Negative experience: PARENTS, please be cautious and aware of your child's billing balance and absolutely, double check that this office works with your insurance.. I honestly thought this office was amazing at first... but sadly, I wish I never brought my son here. They told me that they were in network with my insurance.. which I later found out that they were not in network... they failed to make this clear to me. I had previously found them through my insurance website of approved dental offices, so I called to double to check, and they said yes and started bringing my son in for his dental check ups... we had brought him in for about 4 dental visits... i dont know when they stopped being in network... but I was never informed by the front receptionists that I had a blance of nearly $300 for my sons dental visits.. along with the fact that his doctor was rude and tried pushing me to get my 1 year old a long list of procedures, I decided to leave this office... side note.. i did not find out about the nearly $300 bill that was on his account until after two years of not going back to this office... When I left, i made sure to ask the receptionist if I had any outstanding balance for my son's visits.. Which they had assured me that I did not have any balance that needed to be paid... Until years later is when I found out... this completely outraged me.. Because I made sure to ask, and they still did not do their job to inform me as his mother about this balance until years later.... So please, parents, be aware and always double check or triple check. Because they will not tell you.

Negative experience: I've taken my child to this office twice before and never had any issues -- the doctors and dental assistants have always been amazing. However, today was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. We arrived at 2:30 PM for a 3:00 PM appointment. After signing in and waiting about 15-20 minutes, I was told my child's insurance couldn't be verified. The staff then claimed he only had HMO coverage and that we would need to reschedule for Friday. I explained that he has PPO insurance -- the same one he's always used -- and nothing has changed. To clarify the situation, I called the insurance company myself and had them fax over proof showing that my son has PPO plan. After a while, it was noted that my son had two dental insurance plans: a PPO (primary) under his name and an HMO (secondary) as part of my family plan. The staff then tells me they were required to bill the HMO as primary, even though It was clearly documented that the PPO was his primary insurance. I also asked if they would just bill the PPO, since I was there and unable to come back on Friday. After all the back-and-forth and lack of flexibility, I ultimately decided to leave. I'm extremely disappointed with how this situation was handled. What could have been resolved quickly with a little effort and communication turned into a frustrating experience, causing my child to miss his appointment.

Negative experience: Appointment was on 5/3/2025 at 10:30 I showed up at 10:15 They started calling people who showed up after us and I kept asking how much longer because we were already waiting 40 minutes at that point. They said we were next. Kept calling more people. At the hour mark I got up and left. I also overheard two other moms complaining about the same thing. I understand it’s a busy day but please respect the appointment times.

Fantastic experience: I switched to this particular dental office within the last 6 months because out of the 12 or 15 That I called this was the only one that would allow me to be with my daughter in the back during procedures. They are extremely kind and it is beautiful for kids.So many ipads and t, vs, and there's even a little aquarium. They are always very polite and answer the phone very quickly and scheduling is never an issue

Negative experience: I took my daughter because she was in pain, and they booked me an appointment 3:00pm over an hour waiting at 4:32 they tell me that they can’t do nothing for my daughter because they are about to close at 5:00pm. Very very unprofessional.

Negative experience: It’s location makes it accessible to any especially because they don’t pay attention to who walks in had a very uncomfortable incounter with a random guy that walked in tried to notify the front desk by calling after I left but they didnt care . They didn’t get back to me until Monday morning when the incident took place on Saturday morning

Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for a dentist for your special needs child, Dr Mondejar and Brianna are amazing, patient, and very loving! They create a peaceful and fun environment! Dr Mondejar has been working with my autistic son to the point where he is comfortable and actually lets her perform procedures willing! They created a trustful bond!

Negative experience: Wasted our time...tried to collect payment we had already paid for in advance...we show up for our sons fixing of cavities...they say they need to do additional special xray even though they did that prior...they tell us they can only fix one cavity today & the other 3 are in need of possible root cannals...some how they couldnt determine that a month ago or his teeth deteriorated so badly in 30 days ...we got our money back & are in search of a real dentist not a quick bill your insurance for the basics & refer u to somebody else...funny thing is we were refered here by the first dentist same BS now this guys refering us somewhere else...what has the industry become? Its all SCAM upsell refer & no real dental work going on.

Negative experience: 1 star is for the x-ray tech. The focus here is on cash. NOT treatment. Dr Helen has a used car salesman vibe aimed at gouging.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Mondejar is excellent she is kind and has great patience for the kids. Funzone team is kind and their service is fast and great.

Negative experience: This took a long time to even if you have an appointment. Their system will keep on sending you reports to fill out. It's not worth it. They will stap ur child to get work done. They will take exrays even though they aren't going to do the work on ur child. I believe it's for They can make ur insurance pay. I will never send anyone here. If I could do cenzo Star, I would.

Positive experience: I love this location! I’ve been bringing my kids for years and every single employee is kind and professional. We love Dr. M. She is always incredibly sweet and warm. She really makes sure to give advice and all the information you will need to make informed decisions. The dentist can be a scary place for children but they take away the scariness and shame that some kids and adults experience. Only drawback is that you will most likely be seen a little bit later than your actual appointment time but the service makes up for it.

Negative experience: The dentist does good work and were friendly. This is a high output dentist they had us do a bunch of extra procedures that were not nessasry. I confirmed this with another dentist. They are very pressuring and added extra procedures even after the initial agreed upon procedures. The pressure made us feel very uncomfortable. I will never return to this dentist again.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Bita and her team are amazing. They truly take the pain and anxiety away from the practice of dentistry. My son had a very good experience thanks to them. I would highly recommend her and the whole office. Amazing!

Negative experience: I feel that the staff needs to more training on handling patients that have autism. Also, the dentist performing the procedures needs to be trained on how to handle children with autism. Dentist also need training on how to handle and respect parent concerns for their special need child. Today experience did not make me want to return, and I've been coming here for over 5 years. I noticed the previous dentist and previous staff are no longer here, which is making me reconsider this place, an autism friendly/knowledgeable and safe zone for my son. From this experience, it is not.

Fantastic experience: My granddaughter has been coming to CDFZ for several years. Although she loves the place, today was exceptional. Great attitudes of the staff makes her feel comfortable.

Fantastic experience: I was nervous for my sons first visit because he has behavioral issues and he’s 3yrs. The doctor and the staff were very kind and helpful and did everything they could to calm my son and did what needed to be done. The office is also very interactive that helped distract him while we waited because he doesn’t like to stay in one place for long. Overall it was a great experience for my son and me. I would continue care here.

Fantastic experience: I took my son for some work, we haven't been there in a few years, The front office staff was very polite, and welcoming, when we got to the back, my son saw Dr J. She was such a loving person, and was very good with my son, my son even told The doctor and the technician ( I'm sorry but I forgot her name but she was so sweet!) that they were his favorites! I recommend taking your child to Children's Dental Fun Zone in Fontana, They really do care about the kids, and do all they can to make them feel special and to help with any anxiety that they're feeling about any procedure that they are getting done.

Negative experience: If I could give 0 starts I would please listen to all the bad reviews they are true!! They will torture your little one and not care! I absolutely regret letting them do any work on my child at this dental office I walked out of there feeling like a horrible parent letting them work on my son. The doctor didn’t wait for the anesthesia to sit and my son was screaming crying as she’s just digging in his mouth he was red from all the crying sweating I was trying to calm him down and she told me to not talk to him because he was going to cry more I can’t believe how evil these doctors are to not feel one bit of bad while torturing our little ones! Please do not take your kids here do you’re research

Negative experience: Took my kids here the dentist told me my son needed 5 crowns i took him to get treatment (they only did half because my son was in pain) and they cut my sons lip when I told them they said he bit himself. Today I took him to another dentist to check him and to finish the treatment and I was told he only needs 3 cavities and they dont know why they said he needed crowns on that side of his mouth. Do not trust this place they only care about money.

Positive experience: I've been taking my daughter there for years, I love how clean and fast the service is, but just this once there was quite a long wait. However I really loved the services provided by the staff, the dental assistant (Amanda) made my daughter feel more at ease with a very friendly, and sweet attitude. And of course told my daughter that afterward she would get a prize. Dr. Agnes was also very friendly and outgoing, and gave my daughter the best news... No cavities!! Lol

You’re greeted as you walk through the door and you never feel rushed when they’re tending to you. My daughter walked out with a couple toys, a balloon, a ‘No Cavity Award’ and a new love for the dentist. My only reason for giving 3 stars is the wait time. We had an appointment at 9:30, got there 10 minutes early and still weren’t called in until 40 minutes later. Set an appointment time with the expectation to wait!

The girls in the back and Doctor very good with kids… But I have to say the girls in the front as receptionist had attitude, there answers to me where like if I was bothering them. All appointments I have been helping by Doctor Mondejar. We love her so much. She’s so patient and passionate not to forget professional. She always goes above & beyond to assist us and my daughter feels really comfortable with her. Thank you so much Dr. Mondejar! We appreciate you deeply for all your attention and care when we come for the routine check ups! I hope you know that we try to come any other day except Wednesday because we know that’s your day off lol Also, I want to thank the girls at the office whom help us with our appointments as well the dental assistants. Fantastic experience: Great place!! My son went for some extractions and spacers and they were beyond wonderful really work with you! Now a whole year later and two check ups later they are always kind and work with different insurances! Today there was an employee who was making balloon animals and had coloring pages for the kids. Negative experience: Do not take your kids here to this location the dentist in the back is horrible. Take your children to the Ontario location they are much more gentle and caring. I watched my child scream in discomfort and they did not listen to her screams. She had work in Ontario and they made sure she was comfortable the entire time!

Fantastic experience: Today, I brought my son here to see the teeth, which is very professional. My son has extracted teeth, and the doctor is very skilled. All of them are very friendly and try their best to help me. Because I can only communicate simply and need translation, and I am very nervous about my son's tooth extraction. I am afraid that it can not be carried out smoothly, because my son was very afraid of the experience of his first tooth extraction. But this experience of tooth extraction dispelled the previous fear. Thank you to the manager for his communication and help. Everything is going well today. It gives me a good impression and credit. I recommend this place. I hope my son can continue to come here next time, but they say they need me to have someone to translate for me, but unfortunately I can't find anyone who can help me translate.

Fantastic experience: My family/kids are happy whenever my kids come in for their check up. Clean office, Professional staff especially Dr. Mondejar. She is gentle and always cheerful to see my children. My kids love seeing her every visit.

Negative experience: I made an appointment for my special needs child a week ahead. I had an appointment at 1pm on a Saturday. I get there at 12:30pm in case there’s anything else I had to fill out even though I did all the forms online. I go inside and it is so crowded that there Is literally no place to sit or even stand. I’ve never seen a place so crowded. They then tell me that they are running behind about 30-40 minutes. My child has autism, adhd, and other conditions so I was very concerned because my child doesn’t do very well just sitting down. The person helping me offered to give me a call when they were ready for us but to stay near by instead. It’s a shopping center so we go walk around and they call me at 1:50pm saying they are ready for us. I said we will be there in 8 minutes as we were at a store near by paying for a water bottle. Yet they said we had to wait in the car or outside the door and that they would be rescheduling our appointment and will not wait for us to be seen. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they hanged up on me. I called again and they left me on hold and closed the office at 2pm but my call was never answered. I Can not believe how this place has treated us. I had high expectations for this place and we were very exited to be seen here for the first time for my child’s first Dentist visit. I am very disappointed. I will be calling our insurance and moving forward with this complaint. I took the day off work to take my child to this appointment and wasn’t seen after all. I work 2 jobs to support my child with special needs and get no help from the government program what so ever. This is the treatment we get for being hard working and great parents. People really have no idea what we go through to keep up with all these appointments for our kids then they have the audacity to do this. I will make sure to tell all my friends and family to never take their kids here. Horrible service, I also work in the medical field and know how to treat patients. This was unacceptable. Unfortunately, I will look for a more professional children’s dentist.

Fantastic experience: Very pleasantly surprised how amazing and beautiful the office is! Derick Gonzales was absolutely professional and fast with how he took xrays and did teeth cleaning for my daughter! He even showed her the proper way to brush her teeth Can't wait to come back!

Thinking back to my experiences as a child during dentist visits, if I were a child I would enjoy going here. Staff were attentive to my child and answered any questions. Positive experience: I’ve been going here for years for all four of my kids great work except till now the dr maybe Arabic not sure but she didn’t not hear me out and by giving my daughter more numbing injections my child FELT IT ALLLLLL!!! She’s traumatized and so am I ! A Starbucks card n a free ice cream won’t make up for it ! But that dr needs to gooooooooo or I might just switch up dentist now

Positive experience: Staff is very friendly. No issues there. My one issue is the way they see the patients. Mind you this is for kids only, so how long do you expect kids to sit and wait? It took 1hour to get X-rays for my 3 kids then another 30 minutes to be seated in the exam area (after I asked how much longer) then roughly 30 mins to see each kid clean the chair in between etc. In total we were there from 8:50am (10 mins before our appointment) and did not leave until 11:55. There were also people that came in after us anywhere from 10mins to 45mins after us and they were seen and competed before we were. This was our second time here after our insurance changed and I will honestly only give them one more shot before I find an alternative dentist. Just for context our previous dentist had us completed in no longer than 1 hour as long as nobody needed further treatment, our new insurance is not accepted at our previous dentist otherwise we would have never changed.

Fantastic experience: Amazing!! From calling to make the appointment, reminder calls, checking in, and actually working up the kids! The staff and dentist were so kind and nice with the boys. So glad I stumbled upon their office and made the decision to make an appointment!!

Fantastic experience: Makes going to the dentist fun for kids! They do face painting, have coloring and tablets with games for kids all while they wait! Everyone we have had is super patient and take the time to walk my daughter through the process and explain what they are doing. She gets a prize, toothbrush and an award when we leave. This place turns going to the dentist into a nice experience for your kids. Appreciate all their efforts

Positive experience: I love that they the Fontana facility is open on Saturdays. My kid received very good care with plenty of patience. There was plenty of staff working and dressed similarly which makes them look professional and organized. The reasons they didn't get a 5 is because I'm comparison to the Ontario facility this location is not as kid friendly, the aquarium is smaller, there's no space for the kids to play while waiting, and the tablets available for the kids were not working A huge incentive and part of the experience for my kids had always been to receive a toy at the end of the visit. Even if it was a small toy, it made the kids happy and would be a fun experience for them each time. It may seem like something small, but for kids this is huge. They build memories. They associate the location and dentist positively and are eager to return. This was very disappointing for my daughter and me as a parent. The extra things that they do is what differentiates them from a general dentist. Although it was generally a good experience, it took the fun part out the "funzone". Finally, they only gave all clients a toothbrush.... That's it....no mini tooth paste...no mini floss.... Better than nothing I guess. But when it has been standard practice for all dentists pediatric or not to provide a free sample baggie with at least those three items....to me that looks pretty bad. Yes my daughter got her teeth cleaned and the process was simple. They met basic expectations. I always used to rate them a 5 prepandemic because they did all the extra incentives for the kids. I have a 4 year old kid I'm taking next week. If I see a similar pattern, I might go back to the Ontario facility or search for a pediatric dentist that offers the full FUN experience for the kids. I hope they read the messages and adjust. I hope they choose to take this as constructive to up their game.

Fantastic experience: My foster daughter had an appointment yesterday and I will have to say it was an amazing experience again staff and Dr. were super friendly and made my baby feel very comfortable. Would definitely recommend this office !

Fantastic experience: The appointment was quick . We were in and out .! Christian and Julie were awesome taking Julius and Jonathan’s X-rays . Joseph did awesome cleaning their teeth. And Dr.Mondejar was awesome and broke down every detail regarding my kids treatment plan .

Positive experience: I am giving a 3 star review today only because one reason. Now with the pandemic going on right their procedures of signing in changed. When I came in the office it took us about 40 minutes waiting to be called and because I asked when our turn was. I saw that patients that came in after I did were given paper work to sign and were called before us and thwy came after we arrived. We went in about an hour later that our appointment time. Other than that, as always excellent service from drs and staff. Very friendly and helpful. UPDATE JULY 10, 2023 In June 8, 23 my son had an appointment at 11am, we arrive 10 minutes before the appointment time and still we were called in at about 11:40am. Also two patients that came in after me were called before me. I really don't understand how appointment amd check-ins work. Anyways, as always, staff, drs., and hygienist are friendly and helpful. Dr. M is the BEST!
