Fantastic experience: I have visited on 15th July for my daughter's tooth decay and tooth extraction. Dr Patel did the process and my daughter did not even feel any pain. We are happy how the process was completed carefully and without any discomfort.

All the staff members are very courteous and friendly. Doctor Ajit Patel and Joe Errera are the best, they guided us through the current state of dental health of our son and suggested appropriate treatments for his condition.

When I was a kid, I dreaded going to the dentist, but they do an amazing job of making the experience comfortable and enjoyable for children. They are also quick and efficient which is great for fitting in appointments during the work day. Office is also clean, modern, and inviting. The great selection of movies is a nice touch.

Fantastic experience: APDC is probably one of the best dental centres all across the state. The staffs are very nice and Doctor Patel and Dr Joe are very entertaining. Like even once, Dr. Patel did an extraction for my son a couple years ago and my son was kind of scared, but then Dr. Patel shocked my son by doing some “Magic Trick.” And Dr Joe cracks very funny jokes to start of the pocedures.

She answered all my questions with professionalism and care. Sadie, the dental hygienist, was the most patient with my almost three year old, she made her feel so at ease. She took her time with my daughter, gave her her space when she needed it, and encouraged her at other times. Dr. Patel is super sweet and patient, I can’t believe how gentle he was. I did not feel rushed at all and this was an excellent dental experience!!

Negative experience: We originally came to the practice due to the stellar 5 star google reviews. Truly bewildered by this - are these older reviews? The first of our concerns began with the first call to schedule an appointment in which the receptionist asked for all of our information to enter into the system and then accidently closed out. This meant none of the information we provided was captured and had to be provided again. This entire phone call was ~25 minutes total. We're then asked to provide the exact information via paperwork when we checked in at the front desk. We then took our toddler for a consultation and was not seen by Dr.Patel until close to an hour after the original appointment as he was wrapping up with a prior patient. Dr. Patel provided us with potential treatment options. We had additional questions following the appointment and called the office to get some clarification. Front desk rep Paresha picked up and before asking, adamantly pushed that Dr.Patel would be hard to reach in between patients. I was ultimately told I would receive a call back from someone (if not Dr.Patel) by EOD. I've never not been able to talk to a healthcare professional over the phone to ask clarifying quesitons so was taken aback. I did not receive a phone call that day and called back today. I was told that Dr.Patel doesn't talk to anyone over the phone because he doesn't "feel comfortable". Mind you this was not to get a new consultation it was to ask clarifying questions on the ones that were presented. I didn't think it was reasonable to drive back into the office to ask questions that I could get answers to over the phone. It would likely take days to find an open spot, further delaying the ability for our child to be treated. Ultimately, It seemed like we were being asked to jump through hoops to make any sort of progress. If you're looking for a practice that provides high-touch and family-like services, this is NOT it.

Fantastic experience: Always an A+++++ experience. The staff knows us, makes us feel like family and Dr Joe and Dr Patel are the best of the best. They make my kids feel comfortable, and are excellent in their field. As an added bonus, they're fun too! Thanks for a great experience and for helping make both my kids' smiles look amazing.

Negative experience: My Daughter visited today, The front desk didn’t provide the correct consultancy, (i.e. this is out of pock today as you insurance do not cover) they charge in $109 without verifying with insurance, when i call they say that’s the right code, but question if they have review the insurance a day before should have informed the us in advance, it looks to be gamic to change the patient without providing right information. Be careful !!.

Fantastic experience: Ever since we moved to ashburn we have been taking our 3 kids here. They all love coming here. Everyone is always smiling and friendly and they know how to handle kids with ASD. We had to put our son under anesthesia for cleaning and xray due to his severe anxiety and Dr Patel was fantastic and even explained if he saw anything he would fix it immediately on the spot. You only pay for the anesthesia if your insurance doesn't cover and he treats it as if it was a regular cleaning and whatever needs to be done nothing extra. The kids love to come early to play with the air hockey table and get cute gifts afterwards which makes things fun for the kids to want to always come. Also the never ending variety of movies for each kid is amazing for them to watch. My daughter always wants a Ballon after and they are always happy to give her one! We will never find another place like this. I wish there was a place like this for adults lol. I want to say thank you to them for being the greatest experience for my kids!!

Fantastic experience: Love this place! The entire staff was amazing and very kid friendly! My daughter loved the set ups of TV's and games in the waiting room, and they even had TV's on the ceiling above the chairs so the kids had a distraction during their cleanings and other procedures. All around great experience!

Fantastic experience: I don’t really write reviews but I felt compelled to after our experience today. Dr. Patel and his staff are truly the best of the best. We have been to several pediatric dentists around the Aldie/Ashburn area and Dr. Patel is a stand out. He answered his calling by becoming a pediatric dentist. The staff are pleasant, polite and lovely from the front desk to the assistants. My kids (5&8) had their check ups here and they were excited to come back. Today my 8 year old had her tooth extracted so quickly and painlessly, she didn’t even know he did it. Dr. Patel made her laugh and distracted her during the procedure. Then she got to pick out a toy and a balloon. Thank you Dr. Patel! We are so glad we found you!
