Positive experience: We had an excellent experience. The team of student dentists (Maykor Lancaste & Jason) were super professional and very thorough. Plus they were also very courteous & pleasant. Today I went to our consultation with the Endodontics, Karolyn Germoson . It was a very pleasant and professional experience. !! Overall the Dental Students were very nice and knowledgeable and eager to continue learning!

They made me feel comfortable, all of my questions were answered, and I was given detailed instructions of what to expect and how to care for the re-cemented crowns until my next visit. Fantastic experience: I was at NYU dental for over a year, and I must say, Touro has exceeded my expectations. They are efficient (3D scans done asap instead of waiting months for nyu to make a model of my mouth) and the specialists come right to you instead of making a new appointment that takes months to get. And, they have parking, which makes it a lot easier if you need surgery. Plus the student dentists are fantastic. Very knowledgeable and personable. What was most important to me, is that they came to the exact same conclusion IN TWO VISITS that NYU took over a year to get to. And frankly, I have confidence that my process overall will be faster as a result, and nothing makes me SMILE more than THAT. For people in the business of smiles, I think they’ve already achieved their goal. I’d give them more stars if I could.

Positive experience: I've had several positive experiences at Truro so far. My student dentist has been Parth who has always been knowledgeable, courteous, skillfull & polite. My experience with the dentists has been mixed so far. I had a brief interaction with one of the hygienists today who appeared extremely knowledgeable & capable. Keep in mind it's also a learning situation so things take a little longer but it's rewarding to know the students are also benefiting from my treatment!

Negative experience: I went for X-rays and comprehensive exam last week and now i have alot of issues from my visit,i hope one of yall can get in touch with me before i give my review

Positive experience: The gentleman that worked on my mouth was thorough and very respectful. Being that it is a school it takes a lot longer for procedures.

Negative experience: This school is humongous, they have expanded too rapidly and the quality of education and patient care is declining. They admit students without even interviewing them and many of their faculty are questionable themselves. Too many fillings turn into unnecessary root canals, tooth lose, complications, etc. With how long it takes and how much they charge you’re most likely better off seeing a private dentist and paying out of pocket or signing up for a payment plan

Fantastic experience: I am extremely grateful for signing up with Touro. Everything was extremely professional and friendly! My visit started on time! It was no delays. I love that!! I had Dan and Sam as my treatment team. They were so professional and nurturing. That is, I felt comfortable sitting in the chair, they explained the goals/plan for treatment before I got started, they opened the shades so I could see the scenery, they waited for me while I used the potty. Lololol, they made sure all the pins were out of my hair for X-ray, they explain the next visit plan, they walked me to the front desk for my next appointment. I can go on and on......All I can say is that I did not know this CLINIC was literally in my backyard (16 min away )! This clinic deserves bragging rights! Go check it out for adults/children

Fantastic experience: It was a very pleasant and peaceful experience. Everyone was polite and friendly. I explained to the two young women that my grandson was an autistic 16 year old boy. That he has learning disabilities as well. They took their time explaining everything to him before anything they did. This made it easier for him and them. Most people feel as if they can just rush in and do what they want. But you need to have patience with your patient. These two women were amazing. Fantastic experience: I've gone here for the past two months now for dental work. If I didn't live so far I'd have this as my main dentist. Staff here are very friendly.

Negative experience: For the love of god it’s the hardest thing to make one damn appointment or talk to anyone about getting records. They claim they’ll call back and literally never do. I can prove it with my call logs the number of times I’ve tried calling and the 0 times they actually called me back.

They were able to provide us with a same day appointment to see the Orthodontist. The staff explained the process and answer all our questions. She reassured me that I would receive the proper treatment to address my issue. She’s an excellent provider and checked on me multiple times during my procedure to assess my pain. Dr. Lombo is patient, kind and professional. The combination of these two skilled professionals LITERALLY saved my life and I simply cannot say enough about my experience here!! Everyone is so warm and welcoming!! There was a young man who did my health assessment, he was beyond wonderful as well!! I travel alittle over a hour ,but it well worth it.The team works great. They explained everything clearly and answered all my questions. They really made us feel comfortable. They really care. I wish I'd had found them years ago.

I went there feeling completely stressed out with a broken front tooth and left with a beautiful temporary tooth. Fantastic experience: Dr. Levi is an exceptional orofacial pain specialist. She suspected I might have sleep apnea—a condition that others had overlooked despite clear symptoms—and referred me to a sleep doctor. After having a sleep study and being diagnosed with sleep apnea, she made me an appliance. This treatment has significantly improved my quality of life. She listens attentively, explains conditions thoroughly, and ensures you feel fully supported. Additionally, I have jaw pain and grind my teeth. The Botox treatments she provides for my teeth grinding have alleviated my neck and facial pain, leaving me feeling lighter and pain-free. I consider myself fortunate to be under her care.

Fantastic experience: In the beginning, it was very weird. All these different people, but now my attending, doctor Yitz is superb. Today I met with my surgeon Dr Jackson and his students. He explained the whole procedure and gave me a surgery date and I finally feel this will all be able to be accomplished after we got the team together. I thank my surgeon and yitz for their expertise and Maddie for my insurance and paper work.

Negative experience: Worst dental experience ever. Due to their incompetence, instead of getting a crown, they drilled so much that now I need to get an implant and spend thousands due to their mistake. (This has been confirmed by a different dentist). When I called to discuss this with a "administrator" no one called back. I left several messages. Horrible!

Positive experience: I love this place. The front desk staff are so nice and friendly. The students very skilled and attentive and they really listened to my concerns and complicated history. They explained everything well and put my anxiety at ease. The supervising dentists and hygienists are warm and respectful and patient. In contrast to another teaching clinic I had been to where everyone was miserable and spoke rudely to each other, everyone here communicated with such great attitudes and it’s reflected in their work and organisation. I had the best clean of my life and they even gave me numbing gel because I was sensitive. Only losing 1 star because my husband will be on his 3rd visit before they even get to his clean and 4th visit before they start to fix his cavities. They had technical issues on the first day of his exam and then on the second day instead of finishing the exam and doing his clean, they just finished his exam and scheduled him back another time for his clean. Given how far we travel and how long we have to wait for appointments, it’s something to bear in mind that you may have 4 or more appointments spread over several months to be seen. Absolutely Worth it though for the quality of care and no cost. Oh and it’s all very high tech with the 3d imagining and stuff.

Negative experience: I gave this school 2 stars for the students. Excellent job on the deep cleaning some of the students were very nice and some knew what they were doing. Now a friend recommended this school to me, after my BAD EXPERIENCE I told her don't ever recommend this school to anyone else. I've been going to this school for about a year trying to finish what they started 1 root canel, then I needed a filling. Why did it trun into a root canel? I don't know. NOW ITS 2 ROOT CANEL..It's how they make their money, mind you, I didn't pay a dime, I have insurance, so my negative review is not about MONEY. MY sister paid a lot of money for 3 root canel, which was NOT needed either. I got 2 infections, had to take antibiotics twice and pain med. My temporary crown fell out 3 times. I've gone back and forth to this school SOOOOO many times. That's not normal. I do NOT recommend it. Go find a good dentist that's not going to cause you to need unnecessary root canels. Oh, it was not the student who went too far when doing the filling it was the dentist, then I was in a lot of pain that i did not have before the filling. Then I was told I needed another root canel. Ridiculous !!!!!

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience. Honestly, it was the best experience I've ever had at a dental office. I felt so comfortable. Everything was explained to me, Alex, the doc & his partner were wonderful. No one did anything without explaining to me what exactly they were doing and why. They answered all my questions (no matter how silly or trite they were. They never made me feel I was asking something stupid. They took their time with me, made sure I was super numb & I felt zero pain. I recommended my mom to go to your practice. I would recommend it to anyone who will listen to me. I am incredible impressed at the level of care Alex provided me & the supervising doc was wonderful as well. He consistently complimented Alex on his work. I can honestly say this was the best experience I've ever had at a dentist office. & I'm phobic of the dentist. Y’all put me at ease & I literally felt zero pain. Alex is going to be a phenomenal dentist. He's very through & leaves no stone unturned. He really pays attention to my medical history. Which I didn't know played into a factor concerning my teeth. I truly appreciate the care, attention & caution he, his partner & the supervising Doc gave to me. Thank you so much for treated me, being kind to me, taking your time with me & putting up with me if I was an insufferable pill. This was the best dental experience I've ever had. Mainly because y’all were cool & nice. & you drugged me up with some supersonic numbing stuff. I love y’all for that. Thank you very much for doing the procedure to save my tooth. & thank you for making it truly painless. I've never had a painless dental procedure. You're the first & I'm recommending everyone I know to you. Momzilla wants to come in for a check up & she was super impressed Alex walked me out, introduced himself to Momzilla & shook her hand. He is a consummate professional as well as his partner who’s name I can't remember. As well as the supervising doctor. Everyone was kind, cool & affible. Negative experience: . I went to Touro for a dental emergency and I couldn't believe that the people there are not helpful at all. and some are rude. All they could tell me is I needed more exrays and I couldn't get an appointment with them until Spring. two months away and The Complex Care Clinic couldn't see me until the summer. This is so ridiculous. I have an emergency that can't wait until the summer. I wasted 3 days going back and forth there just to hear I can't get an appointment for months. Totally unacceptable. Do not go there unless you have years to waste. The receptionist that answered the phone told me to get a private dentist. This is a dental school and you will probably have to wait years to have your dental work completed. There really is something wrong with that school. I have gone to other dental schools and never had to wait. Find someplace else to go.

Fantastic experience: I have to say it was with some trepidation that I used Touro Dental College as I have dental insurance. I cannot highly enough recommend them. Due to an accident I needed extensive work and multiple providers, dentist, orthodontist and oral surgeon. At Touro I am able to get all the services that I need and the coordination is seamless. The equipment is state of the art! While I love the dentist whom I have used for the past 25 years I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Mitch and Dr. Fein. The care and service I have received is second to none. Their treatment plan is better than several other highly recommended oral surgeons. They are extremely talented professionals that are also kind and caring. Don’t hesitate, just go especially if you need specialty care.
