Fantastic experience: My 3 girls have been going to this dentist & ortho for like 4 years. Staff is so amazing, their dentist is so sweet & never makes me feel judged because of my children’s teeth. Fantastic experience: I brought my kiddo here for his first dentist appointment. We were both nervous about how it was going to go at first. If you’re looking for a dentist that will be great with your kiddo, I definitely recommend children’s dental and orthodontics. They made everything so much less scary and explained every step to my son. They made him comfortable and had him laughing and joking before they even started the exam. I love them!! So happy we found them!

Fantastic experience: Edit date 1/29 today was my sons tooth extraction he's 4 and does not do well with being at the dentist we usually have no problem here but today we did! Sam was the assistant helping the dentist and as my husband is trying to take my son to the car she blocks the door and tells my FOUR year old child to calm down before leaving! I'm honestly pissed and upset because I thought we had finally found a dentist for my son. Not anymore we will not be back! The staff was amazing! My son is not a fan of the dentist but what three year old is. He definitely did not want to be there and it showed but the staff handled it perfectly! They were friendly, calm and caring when speaking and dealing with my son it was a wonderful experience considering the circumstances.

Fantastic experience: I had to take my son for some dental work and he had to be put to sleep for it cause he is autistic with ADHD and ODD. He can be very defiant at times and in turn sometimes violent. It was a challenge to get him into the office, but once we got there the staff really stepped up in helping with things. My son was already upset cause he didn't want to be there and they helped in every way possible to get things done as smooth as possible. His procedure went well and even though he was cranky for a while, he calmed down and apologized later. One of the staff members even went out of her way to give me a hug to help me calm down after having a panic attack through everything. Really appreciate their understanding in what all was going on and making every effort to help any way they could. Super happy we were able to get things accomplished and didn't have to reschedule. I was so terrified and overwhelmed, but in the end everything was okay.

Positive experience: I only gave it 4 stars because I don't know how the actual procedures turned out since it was a check-up for my daughter. The staff is friendly. The Doc (dentist) was attentive and willing to listen to what my daughter was saying or asking. They were very informative and provided all the information needed to move forward. My daughter felt uneasy in the first exam or initial meet with her new doc but she was very happy that the doc reassured her on what she was doing and made sure she granted my daughters wishes to be careful and easy with teeth..

Such a great and amazing very family oriented, Dental /orthodontic office. They treat their patients like family, and that is something that is very important to me as well as they work very well with children that have special needs. They make sure to accommodate the families and make sure that the children are handled with care and with ease we also had a very great experience with Alaysia our ortho consultation Assistant. She was very helpful, very patient & very very kind. She made sure that we were very well taken care of even when there was hiccups. The whole experience was amazing. Alaysia was very awesome. Most definitely talk to her when it comes to your ortho needs and if you’re looking for ortho office and to have a great consultation, will definitely ask for her. Fantastic experience: We have been with Children's Dental for over 2+ years as a military family. Both Ortho and the Dental team are awesome with our 3 kiddos. Dr. Alex & the team have always been so accommodating after several issues with wire breakage and or trying to always keep appointments within close time frame. It will be sad when we have to leave and the clinic is the best we have been to. If you are looking for a clinic for your kiddos this is the place.

Positive experience: While my kids have been going here for a few years now. The staff is amazing and the office is super pretty and clean. I do feel like the bays for the cleanings are too close to each other with no personal space, My mom took my kids to their appointments today and said it was very noisy with the other kids who were also getting cleanings crying and such, right next to where my kids cleanings were happening. She couldn’t hear the hygienist or the dentist.The other families can hear what the Dentist was discussing with my mom about my daughters exam which has to be a hippa violation. I would suggest getting some type of barriers.

Fantastic experience: Great Dentist Dr. Vu—first appointment I voiced my teeth grinding concerns- she referred me to talk to his pediatrician about sleep study— which was definitely the problem for his teeth grinding - very thorough with exams — the hygienist all so patient with kids too.

However for being a children's dental, yall should learn some tricks to get the kids who have adhd to listen, or not look so annoyed that yall have to deal with a child that isn't calm. Gave me anxiety watching yall.

Positive experience: Great staff! Only thing I would say being a medical professional myself is that hand hygiene is very important! No one washed or sanitized their hands before/after patient care. :( not even the dentist. They did sanitized them tables and glasses though. :)

Negative experience: I had very negative experience at this clinic. First of all my 2 yo child had first dental experience, it is very unprofessional staff. I scheduled appointment for Dr. Manshadi over the phone but when we showed up receptionist told me this doctor doesn't work at the clinic. Why on earth would they schedule me to see him then. Having to stand there and make calls to my insurance provider change primary provider instead of having my appointment. Second bad chair side experience with assistant and doctor. They wanted to do x-rays for my 2 y.o child. x-rays are radiation, why even suggest it, purely for profits?!. This was a routine checkup, my child doesn’t have any problems. As a licensed Dental Assistant i was shocked. Very unprofessional. They didn't provide safety glasses and bib for my kid. Didn't communicate about what they were doing so I can make sure my kid doesn't freak out, or use chemicals like floride on a two year old, which they had prepared without asking! I DO NOT recommend clinic and Dr. Thang Vu.

Negative experience: Get ready to have your appointments canceled. Waited 3 months for my sons first appointment only to have it canceled a week before. I get a call stating it had to be rescheduled because the girl who scheduled it, should have never scheduled it. The soonest they could get me in was 6 weeks out. Finally, my second appointment date arrives. Walked into the clinic at 8AM to be told that we can't be seen. The computers are down and we have to reschedule. Not even a courtesy call to avoid me wasting my time and gas to go up there. The lady behind me drove all the way from Cove. Not even interested in rescheduling at this point. Not worth my time.

Fantastic experience: Listen, Alaysia and Dr.Alex are absolutely lovely! I took my son here for a braces consultation today and I've never felt more welcomed in a dentist office! Everything was well explained and any questions I had were answered. It also doesn't hurt that Alaysia is an absolute sweetheart and Dr.Alex is fine as wine! If you are looking into getting braces, this is a great place to come!

Fantastic experience: Today was my son's first visit at this business. We waited for maybe 10 minutes in the waiting room and were seen promptly. The doctor who did my son's exam was very polite and good with children. The exam was quick and painless. I will be returning in 6 months for his next exam. Great service!

Positive experience: I like this place. But I don't know what keeps people from simply walking out without paying. They don't take partial payments with a credit or anything, and they don't have an app to pay so I don't know how they track you. But they charge after the procedure is done. Still, It's a nice place for my kids. They work really well with them.

Fantastic experience: A Heartfelt Review for Killeen Children's Dental Killeen Children's Dental is truly a gem in the community! I recently brought my nonverbal 2-year-old son in for X-rays, and I was absolutely blown away by the incredible care and compassion shown by the entire staff. My son fought the entire procedure, but the staff never gave up on him. They understood the importance of getting the X-rays done before his surgery and went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable. I never felt embarrassed or out of place, and their kindness and understanding meant the world to me. The receptionists were incredibly sweet and took the time to thoroughly explain the process before our appointment. The dentist was also the most gentle and caring dentist I've ever encountered. It was evident that everyone at Killeen Children's Dental genuinely loves children and is dedicated to making a positive impact on their lives. The clinic itself is so inviting and child-friendly. I've never been to a dental clinic with such a lively and open atmosphere. The option for children to color was a wonderful touch that made the experience less intimidating for my son. I highly recommend Killeen Children's Dental to any parent seeking a dental clinic that truly cares about their children. The staff is exceptional, the environment is welcoming, and the care is top-notch. My other children are already looking forward to their appointments!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Boller is the best orthodontist I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and using for my children. She is a genius when it comes to her vision for my three children’s teeth. She is kind and patient and cares about every single child as is if they are her only patient. She manages the hygienists and the rest of her staff with respect and it shows by how much of a team they all seem to be in the orthopedic room. I love not having to worry about my children’s well being when they are in her care. I see that Killeen Children’s dental is hiring an orthodontist to replace Dr. Boller and while I’m sure he is fine, he will never be able to replace Dr. Boller. Insurance makes it almost impossible to switch doctors once the braces have started at one clinic or I would follow her to whichever clinic she is going to work at. I think it’s a disgrace to all the patients she will have to leave behind when she is such a fantastic person and doctor. The new patients she will acquire will be able to smile confidently and proudly and it will be due to whichever place hires Dr. Boller next. All three of my boys were devastated to find she was leaving this practice and they all hugged her goodbye. I wish things were different and she was going to stay here forever.

Negative experience: This past visit my son went for a filling and the provider was very impatient. My son was not able to get numb enough to start the procedure and everytime he raised his hand saying he was feeling it. She would roll her eyes. She nicked him a couple of times on his lips and gum area. She finally gave him some different anesthetic and he was able to get numb and finish the procedure. My kids have always went to this clinic but this female dentist is in the wrong profession. The clinic is always profession love the ladies that work there this provider is a no go. 08/21/2024 Made an appointment and was specific with the one making the appointment about my daughter chipped her filling that she had done there on her front tooth. The girl mentioned about doing an exam and xray which I totally understand and I asked if the appointment time was enough to get same day treatment which is why I moved forward with scheduling the appointment. Well we show up to our appointment and it was just an exam. After taking off from work you mean to tell me we have to schedule for treatment. Like I was specific on the phone. They mentioned that they were short on staff which is not my problem and they are scheduled out for another month. Nope not putting my daughter's CHIPPED FRONT TOOTH off for a month. I called another clinic and they got my daughter in right away. ✅️ Lone Star Pediatric Dental & Braces - Killeen

Fantastic experience: My kids have been going here for over five years. The dental side for their cleanings, and orthodontics for the braces and Invisalign. I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They explain things and break things down so that you can understand what they working on. My youngest has had her braces for two years and it fixed her mouth, they come off in two weeks. I am beyond happy with the progress. The place is super clean, And they always have great movies playing.

Negative experience: Appointment was scheduled and confirmed via text message and email. Showed up with my child and magically no appointments in the system. Then I receive email and text messages thanking me for attending my appointment and asking me to provide feedback so here it is. Thank you for wasting my time today, an apology would have been nice instead of no you are not scheduled for today I can schedule you for an appointment though, like I’m crazy.

Negative experience: It was a waste of my time and insurance resources. First, they scratched and cut my daughter's gums, then found a cavity but refused to treat it because she's 17. If you know a child is 17, why proceed with an examination if you won't treat any issues found? Once you confirm a child is nearing 17, notify the parent or patient that your office will not provide treatment and advise them to seek a dentist for adults before using insurance for an examination. Now, the new doctor will conduct their own examination to verify your office's findings, and there's a strong chance it won't be covered by insurance, meaning I'll have to pay full price for these services, which could have been avoided by starting with them in the first place.

Negative experience: We having been coming here for years and have had minor concerns in the past; however, this last visit was very different and the reason we will no longer be returning for my children’s dental care. We felt like a number, everyone was impatient except the office staff and Dr. Vu. The assistants addressed my 6 year old like he was 12 even after asking him his age. The hygienist who is usually friendly, made rude comments, impatient, and rough with both my 6 and 12 year olds cleaning. My 12 year old even stated that he felt everyone in the back had a attitude except Dr. Vu, and he is always the one hates making a big deal out of a situation. I get the desire of getting to multiple patients and wanting to finish on time. But hurting them, making them feel disrespected, and fearful to speak up because they are children is totally unacceptable. Outside of the office staff and Dr. Vu, the rest of the staff has a attitude of we don't need you and could care less if you come or not. Although this may not affect them, as a company it's really poor representation especially to a Mommie Blogger/Vlogger well known throughout our community. My children will not be returning, which is really unfortunate because they honestly enjoyed being a patient of Dr. Vu.

Fantastic experience: My 4 year old son is autistic and has adhd and I love that they took they time with him and was able to get to him in away that he let them work in his mouth they are highly recommended I love them 10 out of 10

Fantastic experience: The staff was extremely friendly, the facility was clean and they made my baby boy laugh. As terrified as I’m sure he was for his first experience at the dentist, they made it truly enjoyable for him from the minute we walked into the door. Negative experience: This is the second time they tried to give me the run around.I had scheduled a appt for my boys last month and when I went in to get them seen. They said that it wasn't the right day and I wasn't about to argue with them. So then I said ok I will reschedule then for June 3. OK well my appt I made for 11 am and then they tried telling me because I didn't confirm the appt they can't see my boys. Well I did confirm it and I tried showing them on my texts which I keep all those texts just in case. Well then the lady told me that I would need to come back at 1 . I told her no this is the second time yall.have done this . I'm not rescheduling and so I told her I want to speak to a manager . Well I'm waiting a very long time.to speak to manager. I have been bringing my boys here for the longest and then all the sudden they want to give me a hard time about my boys being seen I will more than likely take my boys somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: Had an incredible visit today! My 11 month old son has 6 teeth and Dr. Vu as well as the technician were so kind and patient with him. He is obviously too little to understand what is happening but he even let them brush his teeth and look in his mouth which was surprising to me! They were kind and thorough and explained what I needed to be doing for his dental care at this point in time. The gals up front were so sweet too! I didn’t catch their names but they were awesome. And the whole office was extremely cute and very clean!! Thank y’all for everything!

Fantastic experience: The sign up and check in process is very straight forward and easy. The have automated everything, so it's either done online from your computer or on an ipad when you come into their office. From there, the staff are professional and great with both parents and the kids from the front desk staff, hygienists, to the dentist. Highly recommend this office for any family.

Negative experience: Got to meet Dr. Vu today. If you're wondering what kind of dentist she is, she's the kind that will run up a bill while telling you she's unable to treat your child. Be careful with this dentist because she has no plans on treating my 11-year-old but was willing to run all kind of tests on her just to tell me she can't treat anyone that's over 7 years old. She's super rude to boot.

Positive experience: Dr Vu and mostly all of the staff is friendly except the front desk lady. (African american) I hate talking to her or asking questions bc I feel like she doesn't listen to understand what I'm asking before responding. With that being said, today really made me go ahead and leave a review. I usually don't leave reviews. I had an appointment scheduled SUPPOSEDLY for March 26th at 4 PM. When I called today to see if they had an earlier appointment bc I wanted to get my child in sooner I was told I didn't have an appointment when clearly I was written an appointment reminder. The same person who scheduled the appointment so happen to answer the phone and she stated she may have written the wrong date bc that appointment was already booked way ahead of time and she couldnt cancel that appointment bc its already scheduled. I told her whether you wrote down the wrong date or not my child still dosent have an appointment scheduled... sooo freaking annoying. Had I not called I would have wasted my time and gas going here for no reason. I really love Dr. Vu but I may just have to find another dentist office bc I can not have the same thing happen again. This will be my 3rd time coming to the clinic. I like good customer service and ppl who actually listen to my whole question before always interrupting me halfway through.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Dr Boller has been absolutely amazing. My son needed braces/retainer at 6 yrs old. We tried the process at 5yrs old but he was scared of the braces. I asked about Invisalign and the process was super amazing. She’s very attentive and very informative. She doesn’t coerce you and I love that I had another consultation at a different facility and they tried forcing stuff that I didn’t want. I love love love this facility. Both the orthodontic and the regular dental side.

Fantastic experience: Both of my kids are toddlers and it was their very first time and they did not know what to expect. They were very nervous. Both of them started scream and crying etc. and the team was very patient but also tried to hurry up and finish brushing their teeth, so they wouldn’t stress them out much longer. I could tell they all understood it was just the fear of the unknown, but how the situation was handled by them was amazing and I thank them for that ! I’m super glad this was my first choice for my kids. After all in the end they still made sure to give a goodie bag and a few stickers to each !

Positive experience: The ladies are all very nice and professional. Along with informative. Dr. Vu isn’t as friendly. She cancelled our next appointment for a cleaning (6 mos away) and said there’s “nothing” she could do with my child’s cavities. Kinda weird seeing as she is a *dentist* but all good. I will happily take my child to a competent doctor. Thanks to all the other employees for being so patient and kind.
