Fantastic experience: My experience has always been amazing at Acorn. My children are treated so special and focused on, and they definitely bring about that child-like persona to help my children feel safe & comfortable. I get great advice, recommendations, and grade A service. We have an operation coming up & the staff are doing everything they can to ease our mind and build trust in the process. I feel my kids are in good hands. The female doctor today is amazing! And so are all the assistants and Front Desk. The playroom is perfect to keep them excited to be there. I love the baby toilet and little door.

Fantastic experience: My daughter has sensory processing disorder and a lot of stuff she can’t handle on her skin. She had to have an emergency tooth fix after she got smacked in the face with a lunch box and broke her tooth. The Dr and staff were amazing with her and when it was too much for her They let me step in when I needed too. I can’t express how grateful I am for them to get her in asap and stay after hr to fix it.

Fantastic experience: I was way impressed with how they treated my kiddos. After a traumatic visit last time it made it hard for me to put my kids through more but this particular location had an amazing dr and an absolutely amazing team of wonderful people. I am glad we took the chance.

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome! They make it super comfortable for the kids (things to play with while waiting, movie to watch, coloring.) The kids can even choose something to watch while they are getting the dental work done. I wish they had this kind of dentist when I was a kid.

Positive experience: I am happy they finally got rid of the horrible silly joke hold "music," since the kid isn't the one making the call. Today went smoothly and everyone was professional for my son's sedated dental work.

Fantastic experience: All four of our kids continue to have great experiences here!

Negative experience: Recently our experience with this clinic has not been great. They never have availability for appointments pushing out exams and delaying treatment. They need to stop accepting new patients as clearly they do not have enough appointments for their current patients. They always seem to have dental assistants fresh out of school. The last assistant that applied medication to my daughter's teeth did a sloppy job creating staining on her teeth. I believe her name was "Elise" the dentist said he could polish my daughter's teeth and he'd let the front desk know. When I called to schedule they were completely clueless and said they'd talk to the dentist and call me back.. I never received a call back! The medical forms don't get sent out prior to appointments causing a delay in check in. The forms are repetitive and should be done yearly. They also should have the option to confirm appointments via text as it is more convenient for busy parents.

Fantastic experience: This location is amazing They always treat my children like they matter like they are important and they make my children feel comfortable at the dentist. I love how they explain everything. And talk to the parents, like we're actually human. And like we matter and showing us that we are a big part of our children's dental health

I Only Wish I Would've Known Of Them Sooner And They Took Adults Cause I Would Switch In A Heartbeat Lol The Wait Room Is Set Up Perfectly For Kids Of All Ages! There's Tablets, A TV, A Playhouse, A Light Up May On The Floor For The Kiddos. Each Dentist Chair Has A TV Above It So The Kids Can Watch A Movie/Show Of Their Choice (from really good options) Which Helps My Kiddos Sit Still And Be Happy! They Honestly Love Going To The Dentist Now! And After It's All Said And Done And The Appointment Is Over They Give The Kiddos These Tokens That They Can Put Into Machines For A Special Prize! ❤️ All Of The Dentists, Nurses And Desk Workers Are Absolutely Amazing! They Make You Feel Welcome, They Do A Great Job Of Explaining What They're Doing Or Gonna Do And Make The Kids Feel At Ease! They Always Do An Exceptional Job At Answering Any Questions I May Have And Answer The Phones Quickly Both For Questions And For Scheduling! They Also Do A Great Job At Getting You In Quickly, Whereas Some I Was Looking At For My Kids Had Like 6 Month Wait Times They Got Us In The Same Month!

Fantastic experience: My kids hate any kind of doctors but they LOVEEEE going to the dentist they make it super kid friendly & they accommodate to them I love it & so do they . The staff is AMAZING !

Fantastic experience: This place was amazing. So kid friendly. Each chair has their own TV to watch a Disney movie of their choice with headphones. Everyone was so kind, happy, and explaining to the kids what was going on. I wish adult dentists got such amazing treatment!

My son is not afraid of the dentist now even after he had to have oral surgery there. Fantastic experience: Always a positive experience. My kids get excited about going to the dentist. The hygienist was great today when I shared that my son expressed he disliked the water rinse and tube that sucks saliva so she limited how much that was done during his cleaning.

My now 3 year old did not cry at all as they walked her through all the steps as her first time on the “big girl” chair. We have been going since my daughter was 1 year old and it has always been a pleasant experience.

Positive experience: I wish after anesthesia we didn't get kicked out so soon wasnt safe to drive I don't live in town I live 50 min away. If I stayed 30 more min my kid would have settled down. Overall, my kids love going the staff is great and they love kids and is very friendly polite and well informed.

Fantastic experience: my daughter is very anxious and shy and was super nervous coming into the dentist today and they absolutely made her feel so welcome and made her visit so fun. she has not stopped talking about how much she loves her new dentist and office!

Negative experience: I must be having a serious string of bad luck with acorn dentistry. It was great up to the last couple of years. The office staff appear to be incompetent. I have been canceled on so many times over the last 2 years ranging from conflict with their schedules to errors with their automated system. The last excuse was that they couldn't accommodate and when I said what do you mean by can't accommodate and the lady blurts out the doctor is sick but its not even the day of the appointment. It felt like the way she said it, she was just making up an excuse. Rescheduled the appointment and then show up to be told my child was scheduled for the wrong appt. Now have to reschedule again after I've already taken time off work and my child out of school to be there. The lady tells me when the next available appointment is and I tell her that I cannot do that. She says we can put you on the wait list by which I reply ok lets do that. She says ok and then asks if I want a reminder card. I ask her, a reminder card for what. She says for the appoint that I literally just told her I can't do. Seriously had to just walk out before I lost my mind. On the appointment before the last one, the office staff lady we encountered told us she couldn't make the next appointment because she wasn't trained to do it. Left us sitting in the waiting room for 15 min and then was confused as to why we were still there. We ended up leaving and having to call later to make the next appointment. Why have someone working the desk when they are not trained to do the job is beyond me. Their automated system texts me up to16 times for the same appt. Told them to stop spam texting and they still do it. I'm seriously at my whit's end with this place. Their waiting room and facilities are nice but I have many reservations about the people working there. I will be looking for a new place to take my kids. UPDATE, After leaving this review I received a call from a manager who left a message. I returned the call at the end of the day. I asked for the manager and was told they went home for the day. Left a massage with the receptionist that I called back. The manager never returned my call. As my daughters last appoint with them approached at the west Salem facility, I get the normal texts about the appointment. I call and confirm the appointment with the receptionist. A couple of days before the appoint, while I am at work they call in the morning and leave a message threatening they will cancel the appointment if I don't confirm with them. After I get off work they call again threatening if I don't confirm they are canceling it. I told the woman on the phone I did call and confirm the appt earlier in the week. Told her its completely ridiculous to harass people like this. Her reply was that there was no note in the file that they already talked to me on the phone. That's not my fault that again the staff are not doing their job. On the day of the appoint they want payment up front before they render services. It makes a person feel like they are not trusted to pay. On top of that they over charged us for services that were not rendered. I was told I would receive a refund in a week or two. Well its been two weeks and nothing yet. I have found a new dentist for my kids and we are no longer going to any of the acorn dentistry facilities.

Positive experience: My kids still love this place, there was a hygienist who kept pushing fluoride even gave them a treatment after we told her no thanks but we don't see her there anymore. Still a great place for kids.

Fantastic experience: My one year old daughter had her first dentist appointment here today and it couldn't have gone better! The staff was incredibly sweet, informative, gentle, and friendly and the office is so cute and fun! I'm so glad that we now have an exciting and welcoming dentist office for my daughter to grow up with. She had so much fun playing in the waiting room and interacting with everyone. I trust that going forward my daughter will be able to get excited about visiting the dentist instead of being afraid.

Fantastic experience: We really love Acorn dentistry they are always so nice and patient with our son he felt comfortable enough after a few visits to actually get his xrays done and sit in the big dental chair! (He's 4) Definitely recommend them for kids who are anxious about the dentist. You can even schedule a visit just to check things out and not have anything done.

Negative experience: Update: 01/02/25 - Treatment was done… it was delayed so far out nerve treatment was almost needed. Mind you, since first told there was a cavity back in September we adamantly started brushing & flossing 2x daily.. stay far away from this place, it only caused more issues for my daughter staying with them as long as we did. Update: Manager called, ended up move care to West Salem but forced to finish out treatment in Keizer… 12/10/24 - Absolutely terrible communication all around! From cleaning to treatment. Was forced to delay treatments multiple times due to there mistakes in the office or not being clear on instructions! Then wanting to place the blame on me and shove a 3+ month old paper I signed in my face. No reminder calls with such important instructions. The delay in treatment was then pushed weeks to months out due to them being overly booked! So done with this place and their unorganized procedures! As a working mom this is very frustrating as I needed to take the day off for these appointments… Unacceptable!

The staff is always so friendly and accommodating. However, the parking lot is so small and cramped. I always have problems navigating through and/or finding a spot.

They were so patient with my daughter and did their best to make sure she was comfortable and understanding of everything they were doing! Fantastic experience: Even though we were a few minutes late and I’d forgotten to fill out paperwork (which I don’t recommend ) staff was very kind and patient. The hygienist was patient with my daughter, went over caring for her gums especially with her use of aligners. She spent extra time cleaning her teeth and cleaned her aligner as well. I appreciated the extra care. Thank you Acorn for being amazing!

Fantastic experience: Love love love this place! Today was my daughter’s very first dentist appointment and from the very beginning they have been great. I reached out via email to make sure they accepted my insurance, they responded incredibly fast and booked me an appointment for 2 days later! Upon arrival we were greeted by the wonderful front desk staff. All of these women were so incredibly kind and looked truly happy to be there! The new patient forms and check in process was incredibly easy and convenient! The lobby was very clean and they had a selection of toys, games, and coloring pages for the kiddos along with a movie playing. Once called back the woman was so kind, she took my daughter’s height and weight making sure to make it a fun positive experience, and took us back to the room. Her and the Dentist explained things very clearly and asked if i had any questions through the entire process. The dentist herself was amazing. She was singing songs to my daughter trying to relax her while doing her exam and brushing. She also gave good recommendations and actually took the time to explain things to us! And after the visit was complete my daughter got to pick out a rubber duck to take home for being cavity free! We again worked with the front desk to schedule our next visit and honestly i couldn't be happier with the experience and treatment we received from this office today! We’re looking forward to having them as our dental team!!

There is so much for your child to do when waiting to be called, and when they are in for their visit they make sure to keep your child appropriately informed and comfortable while having fun! Dr. Vincent is extremely helpful and clear with his procedures and advice. Get your kids in here because you won't regret it!

Definitely recommend for shy kids who don’t typically like doctors or dentists, they’ll make your kid feel very comfortable! My kids hate when we have to leave lol and one of my kids is super shy, he is never shy when we’re here.

Positive experience: Edit; Back from 4 stars to 3. We finally have our own insurance so I wanted to cancel the Acorn membership we are paying for my daughter. We want to stay and just replace it with our own insurance. They don’t let you cancel their memberships. Pretty lame considering it’s like $20 a month. Not like they’re losing much. Once the 12 months is up we will absolutely be leaving and won’t be back. The lobby issue with out of control children, now this, no thanks. Edited: from 3 to 4 stars. Very quick response and kind resolutions, asking for feedback on how to do better! Our experience with the nurse was fantastic, she was so sweet. Unfortunately was 20 minutes past our appointment time. I know this is a children’s dentist, but my word, the lack of any supervision by parents in the lobby is disturbing. It’s so loud, I couldnt hear the receptionist when checking in. There are children flying over and throwing their bodies over the half wall in the sitting areas.Slamming into me and my child. They’re and running, falling over and wrestling, screaming. I know kids are kids, I have two small children myself, but this is out of control. This is our first time here and I’m already regretting it…the membership is cheap for people with no insurance (us), which is why we got it, but hopefully it’s not always like this..

They way they speak kid is so impressive. They had a syringe in my niece's mouth and she had no idea. She is a sensitive neurodivergent kid, and they handle her perfectly.

Positive experience: We’ve been to this Keizer location several times for both my kiddos. Most visits have been pleasant. I realize there is a “shared” space that appears to be dedicated to mainly cleanings. Today was my first time being in this space with nearly every chair full. The environment feels a bit chaotic with kiddos either being fussy, crying or screaming. My kids are well behaved so they handle that kind of stimuli well and having the distraction of headphones and TV help but I can see how this may be an issue for younger/sensitive kiddos. I’m also not a fan of certain issues being discussed in front of an “audience” of strangers/parents. Seems like a HIPPA violation to some degree. For this reason I’m contemptling finding another pediatric dentist.

Fantastic experience: CC was amazing with my daughter, the last time we were in I had to hold her in my lap and this time she let CC do x-rays and her cleaning without having to sit on my lap. She was so patient with her and explained everything that she was doing before she started. Before my daughter was terrified of getting her teeth cleaned and x-rays and now she can’t wait to go back!! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Despite the understandable turnover over the last few years, our experience here is always positive! The kids love playing in the waiting room and the staff does everything to help the kids have a great experience and feel as comfortable as possible. My middle child is nonverbal autistic and has extremely high sensory needs. Im so grateful for their patience and professional respectful attitudes toward challenging situations.

Positive experience: Great care for my kids. Staff is super nice. Only thing I strongly dislike is you have to confirm every appointment. I have had multiple cancelled appointments brcause I dont call back. I always show up for their appointments, why do I need to call everytime!?!?!?! Atleast make it so I can text! I dont want to call every damn time.

Fantastic experience: It was my daughter's very first Dentist appointment. My very first experience taking a child to the dentist as well. She had a cough and everything and an issue with the water sucking device. They made her feel so comfortable. They were so kind and understanding of her little struggles. They included her sister when giving tokens and stickers. Very kid oriented. Loved it!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Vince was fantastic. We have been going here for years and today was our first visit with him. He explained everything well, got us a referral for Ortho. The entire staff, from check in to check out were so kind and friendly. I'll be sad when my youngest ages out of here.

Fantastic experience: Such a great office. They were gentle and kind while also being firm and educating my child about the importance of dental care. They also provided proper techniques for brushing and flossing. They communicated everything with me as well so that I can best help my child have a lifetime of good dental health. The lobby is fun and unthreatening for kids so that they are out at ease the moment they walk in the door. A great way to begin dental care for kids without traumatizing them or making them avoidant of dental care as they get older. Very pleased with our experience. From my child (11 years old): “It was pretty nice. The people there were nice and taught me things I didn’t know. I wasn’t afraid to ask them questions.” That’s high praise from an 11 year old.

Fantastic experience: This is a fantastic dentist. We came here after a horrible previous experience at another pediatric dentist. Acorn from the start worked with my son with his stranger anxiety/fear. They took time out of their schedule to accommodate his special needs, didn't rush him, or pressure him. I really appreciate this, all parents with kids on the spectrum would. The office is incredibly clean and a fun atmosphere for kids and adults, movies playing and activities for kids to do while waiting for their appointment. Even a fun little kid door they can enter the building through. My kids love it. The staff are very friendly and the dentists and assistants are superb. Even their anesthesiologist is amazing. I highly recommend this dentist. Thank you Acorn

Fantastic experience: My girls have been going here for about 5 years now and it has tremendously changed their outlook on dentists for the better. Thanks to the welcoming environment and the caring staff it makes this place the perfect place to make your kiddo feel safe and comfortable going to the dentist. What kid wouldn't want to watch a show of their choice while having a dentist in their mouth!? My kids love that feature along with the coins they receive at the end of each visit as a token for having good dental health. So glad we switched here. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: My son been going into this place and every time i am satisfied with their customer service . It is really convenient snd they are really well equip with things to get your child to be occupied and want to wait. I also love the customer service that all the staff give to their patient , even the front desk people are really kind and helpful.

Fantastic experience: The staff there are fantastic! They have been great with my daughter. I recommend them to any parent.... Update 10/26/23... I've now taken my 5 year old son there. He's not as shy. The tech that worked with up handled him with skill. He was easy, but she made it look 10 times easier. I continue to recommend Acorn Dental.

Positive experience: It was our first visit and I felt so comfortable and welcomed. The clinic was super clean, things for kids off all ages to do, and all the workers were friendly and kind. Based on this, I would recommend acorn dentistry. Will update if anything changes as time progresses.

Fantastic experience: My son had the best experience playing with their cool toys, getting to watch his favorite show ‘spidey and his amazing friends’ and we had the sweetest assistant and doctor who provided lots of information for my anxiety ridden brain. Thank you acorn!

Fantastic experience: Definitely recommend, 10/10!! Everyone is so patient and sweet! My child can be very stubborn and they did not once pressure her or treat her any different than when she walked through the door! Such great people and environment!

Fantastic experience: This was my son’s first dentist appointment here and they were fabulous! Very patience and kind. My son is 3 and they didn’t push to do things if he was uncomfortable, they were commutative on what they were going to do. They gave him time if he was unsure of something. Overall a really great experience. I would definitely recommend this dentist for kids!

Negative experience: Took a bit over 20min after my scheduled appointment time to be called back to a room. The carpet in this facility clearly hasn't been cleaned in a long time. Nearly black and physically grimy. Dental assistant wanted me to sit on a cushioned bench in the exam room and the cushion was disgusting, stained and grimy. I pointed this out and the assistant begrudgingly allowed me to sit on the exam chair for my child's lap exam. Then their internal review system wouldn’t allow me to submit my feedback. Am trying a separate location next time to see if this is a poorly run location or a poorly run health system.

Negative experience: They called us early in the morning multiple times to bring our child in to "an even earlier open spot that just opened up" only to get here and be told that we have to wait 2 hours for our original time because the spot was filled and things are "fluid". We literally changed our day to meet the new earlier times only to be told it won't happen now through no fault of MY FAMILY'S. What sort of business runs like this?

Fantastic experience: My daughter has always been really nervous and rather fearful of going to any dentists or doctors. She was really scared to go in for her first dentist appointment. The Kiezer branch made her open up right away with a miniature door for kids to enter through, immediately after entering there is games and toys for the kids and they let them pick a movie for their cleaning/ procedure. She was actually laughing with joy by the time she got into the dentists chair. I would highly recommend this location just based off our first visit
