Fantastic experience: Very first visit and from that start we were greeted with a warm welcome! The ladies at the front are so friendly and knowledgeable. They definitely make the process easy and stress free. I feel such a HUGE difference from the previous dentist I was taking my son and daughter to. The entire staff was amazing. The hygienist were super patient and friendly with the kiddos. My daughter is a bit much at times when she is uncomfortable and experiencing new environments. They talked her all the way through and kept encouraging her until she was comfortable. Everyone is very thorough and knowledgeable with the information they provide. Dr. Chuong was amazing! He's extremely intelligent and very passionate about what he does. He gives the confidence he'll never steer you wrong and he always has the kids best interest at heart. I couldn't be happier that I made the switch and I'm so exciting to begin this journey of getting my kids to and happy and healthy smile! If your looking for a new dentist to call home for your kids do yourself and your kids a favor... LOOK NO FURTHER!

Everyone was so kind and patient, they took care of an emergency my child had and were so understanding of our situation, my husband being in the ER and me being a teacher. They explained her treatment plan thoroughly and went over all the options for the most effective, most comfortable and quickest method to help her. I have another appt scheduled with them and hope that it goes well too.

Fantastic experience: My sons had a traumatic experience at another dentist & refused to go again. He avoided the dentist for 3yrs. When we got to No Sugar Bugs everyone was amazing! From the receptionist to the dental assistant to the doctor. They all made my son & myself feel comfortable. They even were able to help with the surprise financial cost associated with costs not covered by insurance. We will be coming back and would highly recommend if your child is fearful of the dentist. My son said this visit was a lot better than the last place & he will go without giving me a hard time next time. #winning#happymom

Fantastic experience: It was my daughter's first time and she was so nervous she was shaking. (Not like her and she's usually fine at the regular doctor.) The staff didn't rush and were all just so sweet with her and joking around with her. She ended up doing awesome and I'm so grateful. She could have left traumatized but she left happy and she'll be excited to go back. It's helpful they have it decorated in there for kids and have toys! We switched to this office from another local pediatric dentist and have been extremely happy with every visit to No Sugar Bugs Club. We’ve had several routine cleanings as well as a treatment visit for cavities/fillings and this mama is impressed! You can’t trust just anyone with your kids’ care but they always make us feel comfortable. Y’all are awesome, thank youuuu!

The waiting area felt more like a fun clubhouse than a dental office, and the staff made my little one feel safe, seen, and celebrated. Dr. Christopher has an incredible gift with kids—gentle, patient, and somehow made a cleaning feel like an adventure. My child left smiling, proud of their “sugar bug-free” teeth, and already excited for the next visit (what?!). They go above and beyond with everything—from education to comfort to the tiniest details. I genuinely wish they treated adults too. If you’re looking for a place that turns fear into fun and teaches healthy habits for life, this is THE ONE. We are officially proud members of the No Sugar Bugs Club for life!

Fantastic experience: After about 2 years here, we are confident that we love this dentist office! Usually we see Dr. Chris, but had just our first visit with Dr. Sara and she was equally great. Everything is so kid-friendly - TV, books, toys. The assistants are kind and gentle so the cleanings, x-rays and fluoride applications go smoothly. Then the dentists come and answer all your questions and concerns. For the first time, my daughter was comfortable (and old enough) to do the x-rays by herself so that helped me relax too. She didn't want to come home! Will be bringing my baby here too soon enough. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I must say I HIGHLY recommend taking your kiddos to this place for dental work. It was my youngest daughters first time ever at a dentist and everybody there was SO friendly and patient with me and my kids. They went slow with my little one and showed her how everything works so she would feel comfortable. Our dentist was very nice and explained things very well and even gave us a toy and stickers to leave with. Very much a great pediatric dental office to take your family to.

Fantastic experience: This was our first time with them and I brought my 4 kids. The way their office is set-up was perfect to where they took all 4 kids at the same time so we weren't there for ages waiting to go one-by-one. The staff was incredibly nice and made my kids feel comfortable with what was being done. The doctor took his time checking each of them out and explaining to me what he saw and a plan moving forward. And at the end they got the kids each got to pick a prize so they were pretty happy about that. I would definitely recommend this office and will definitely return.

Fantastic experience: Took my daughter Phoenix for her first dentist appointment and we’re glad we chose here for her care! The staff was friendly, informative, and so good with Phoenix. The office was inviting, and clean, and we got called back for her appointment on time if not early. Fantastic experience: Hands down best kids dentist around. The staff is great with kids! I wouldn’t go to another kids dentist office. I have a total range of temperaments with my 3 kids, my daughter is extremely fearful with high anxiety and my youngest has no issues and they handle them both perfectly. I can’t speak more highly of this office that’s perfectly kept so inviting, clean and nice (both Clearwater and Trinity I’ve been to both), the doctor and their staff are hands down the best. I appreciate the way they communicate with myself and the kids. Extremely knowledgeable, kind and relatable 10/10 recommend.

Fantastic experience: Edited to add (6 months later): We had just as great of an experience for my son’s cleaning as we did the first two times! Highly recommended. We had a wonderful experience at No Sugar Bugs Club in Clearwater! Everything you would hope to find in a pediatric dental office was there, including an empathetic and caring staff, to things I wouldn’t expect to find, like T.V.s suspended horizontally from the ceiling to keep your little one distracted. We’ll definitely keep going back…why didn’t they have places like this when I was a kid?

Fantastic experience: We love Dr Chris and the No Sugar Bugs Club crew! My daughter cries when we have to reschedule an appointment. They are so friendly and welcoming. They know how to handle pediatric patients, make them feel comfortable, and gain their trust. Someone recommended No Sugar Bugs Club to me, and now I recommend them to others (highly).

Negative experience: I’m writing this so no one else gets taken advantage of the way we have been. First of all they told me that my 9 year old son had a cavity so we prepaid for it to be drilled for him per the dentist recommendation. My son was scared, as it was his first cavity, but they refused to let me in the room with him. He cried because I couldn’t be with him so they didn’t drill him because he was so upset. SO… I went to another dentist who would allow me in the room for his cavity filling AND THAT DENTIST DIDNT FIND ANY CAVITY AT ALL! Repeat: MY SON HAD NO CAVITY! I feel lied and betrayed by this practice. They were 5 minutes away from drilling my son’s tooth for NO REASON AT ALL!!! Do not trust this dentistry. They are stealing money from their families and drilling teeth that don’t have cavities! Taking advantage of parents and drilling kids teeth for absolutely no reason! I’m appalled by this dishonesty and feel so upset I’m thinking of contacting a lawyer. I am defiantly reporting them because other reviewers have experienced the exact same issue. I hope this review helps someone who is considering going here. Always get a second opinion. LITERALLY, go ANYWHERE ELSE! Absolutely despicable practice!

Negative experience: I’m very disappointed about our 2nd experience with this dentist. My 8 year old son’s first experience was great a couple years ago, we had no issues, as to why we went back for his check up since covid didn’t allow us to go for a whole year and a half. But yesterday’s visit he had problems doing the x-ray’s and threw up from gagging. The one hygienist he had was very sweet to him about it, but the dentist was being very rude about the whole situation saying “well I need an x-ray, he threw up already so his stomach should be empty now, do it again”, talking to the hygienist in front of me. Once I told my son he was going to have to try again he started crying, so the hygienist tried again with the help of another hygienist that was not very friendly either. I also had my 4 year daughter with me who also had an appointment and had no issues with the x-ray or visit. While the dentist was looking at her teeth he was calling my son a “baby” to my daughter saying “your baby brother” because he couldn’t do the bitewings. Once the dentist was done he went over my daughter’s and examined her, briefly went over my son’s with me and just said to the hygienist “I’ll just leave this up to mom” then just walked away. About the whole x-ray thing, he didn’t say if we were good to go or not so the hygienist asked, because she had stepped away, if the dentist said we were good and I said “I don’t know he just walked away”. I just felt like this dentist had no patience what so ever. There was no words of encouragement to try to get him to do it again. Needless to say I won’t be returning to this dentist and will make another appointment with another dentist to try getting x-rays again for my son. I don’t need a dentist to make fun of my son or have no sympathy for my child when the dentist is scary enough for some children/adults. UPDATE: the dentist did call me personally to apologize for himself and staff after my husband called and left a message, which I appreciated.

Fantastic experience: My daughter (3 y.o.) and I tried three different practices before finally finding No Sugar Bugs Club and there is no comparison - this was the best experience BY FAR. The staff was more than empathetic of our past experiences and put my anxious-mommy brain at ease. I also loved that the dentist chairs are already lying flat so the kids don't feel nervous having to be reclined backwards, and the tvs on the ceiling for them to watch while they're being worked on was SUCH a great feature. The staff was so gentle and patient with my girly, and SOOOO detailed and informative with me on absolute everything, which is what was missing from the other dentists we tried. They took the time to explain our options, the basis for their recommendations, and I could not be more pleased. 20/10 recommend.

They are so calm and kind with her and even though she still gets scared going, they always try their best to make her feel as comfortable as possible!

I believe that it's because we chose this dentist for our child that she has not only a healthy smile, but excellent dental habits. She used to give me hard time about brushing her teeth, but because she loves this place so much she listens to their advice. And when I have questions for dr chris i feel heard and they are met with confident answers. You can tell eveyone here cares about their job. Thanks to all staff we've interacted with over these last few years. I'll continue to reccomed this practice.

The doctor and his staff were kind, thorough, called multiple times to check in, called after hours when needed, and the procedure was done in such a way that my son was comfortable and ok with everything. Fantastic experience: My 3 children (4, 11, 14) have been seeing Dr. Chris at No Sugar Bugs Club for years. Dr. Chris is the nicest guy. He relates to my kids and makes them feel comfortable. He always takes his time to explain procedures and answers my questions. The office is always clean and the staff is polite and helpful. I know that my 14 year old is going to miss Dr. Chris when he ages out of pediatric dentistry. I always recommend Dr. Chris at NSB Club to my neighbors, friends, and coworkers because they’ve never let me down or made me question my decision.

Fantastic experience: The doctor was amazing with my grandson. He is only 3 and broke his mouth and tooth. He had to get 2 teeth removed and got partials places for now. The staff was polite, kind, informative and made the experience less stressful and scary.

We have been sending both of our boys to Dr. Chris since we moved to the area in 2016. Every time we go there, we know that our kids are in good hands and that if there is any issue, Dr. Chris will fix it and give us peace of mind. Our boys will see him until they need to switch to a regular dentist. Nothing is more important than finding a good pediatric dentist for your kids. We are extremely glad and lucky that we found this dental office.

Negative experience: I took my daughter to this dentist for the first time around November of 2023. I’m writing this review 9 months later because I’m still bothered by our experience to this day. I have no idea how this office has so many good reviews. Like others have said Chris is extremely rude to his staff in front of patients. He did his exam and he said “ok mom she has sugar bugs”. Note the use of that word rather than cavities. He said she would need two filings. I was immediately suspicious because my daughter has been going to the dentist since she was three and had no issues prior. We had just moved to this area so that’s why I was going to a new dentist. I immediately knew I would never let that man perform any procedures on my daughter. When I went to check out, they tried to schedule her fillings. They told me parents aren’t allowed back. I said ok I’m not comfortable with that I will be scheduling somewhere else. She raised her voice in the busy waiting room and asked me why I had an issue with that. I told her I’m not comfortable. Why should I have to explain that? I take my daughter to a new dentist who informs me there are no cavities. No issues at all. How disgusting that he was going to perform two fillings on a 5 year old child that were unnecessary. Dental work is traumatic. I’ve decided I will be reporting them. So so happy I got a second opinion and I urge you to not take your children here.

Fantastic experience: This was my toddler’s second visit to this office. All of the staff, from check-in to check-out, were very friendly and professional. The waiting area was great as it had plenty to keep my kid entertained while we waited, which actually wasn’t very long at all even though they said they were running a bit behind due to technology issues. We also didn’t have a long wait between seeing the hygienist and seeing the dentist. The hygienist Jamie was especially good with my toddler, telling him what to expect, patiently listening to him while he chatted with her, and answering all of his questions. Very satisfied with this pediatric practice!

Positive experience: front desk staff was great very kind. the office had great toys and tvs to keep little ones occupied while waiting. the doctor was a little rushed couldn’t give us the whole run down of what was going on. had to take a trip to the surgery center everyone was great, very kind. dr chris was kind of rude when i asked him exactly what was going on because i didn’t get the whole run down at the office. great facility would be 5/5 if the doctor wasn’t in such a rush and took the time to sit down and talk to us.

Fantastic experience: My son feared the dentist and hated to even open his mouth. This office and all the staff are top notch! They all eased my son's fear and explained everything to my son what was happening. Very happy we chose this office to take care of my son and his teeth. Fantastic experience: Awesome staff! So understanding and caring!! From front desk, to nurses to the dentists. Victoria Phan is such a GEM! A true sweet heart! She helped us today! My little one is autistic and has a sensory disorder so anything dental related can be a nightmare, I’ve taken her to 2 other dentists prior to finding no sugar bugs club and it was not the best experience! My little girl is 4, and finds comfort at no sugar bugs club! So happy now! We’ve been with them since 2023 and I will continue to bring her for annual visits! Dr. Chuong is awesome! Thank you guys! If your little one has a developmental delay, or on the spectrum I highly highly recommend no sugar bugs club! You’ll be relieved and at ease with dental visits especially if your little one suffers from sensory overload like my girl!

Fantastic experience: Loved everything about this office from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. The staff, to the hygienist, to the doctor were wonderful. The decor is also very fun. My son enjoyed it very much and wanted to stay to play afterwards-he's only 4. Also, he sat still the whole entire time to let the Hygienist do her thing. She was very patient and attended to his curious mind about the many tools she used. Overall, we were impressed, and feel very lucky to have found a warm pediatric dental office.
