Fantastic experience: We’ve recently switched all 3 of our girls to this office and we couldn’t be happier! The staff is wonderful & makes you feel comfortable. It’s much easier taking them to appointments because they don’t mind going to the dentist anymore!

Negative experience: Call center is terrible. Besides waiting 20 minutes on hold they make leave number for call back that never happened! Advertise for pediatric emergency visits and spent the day calling with no return calls. Showed up at office and they claim they didn’t get any messages.

Negative experience: so much for “emergency appointments.” i’ve called 5 times now after being on hold for over 20 mins each time & spoke to someone who had to call the office to see if they can get my 4 year old stepson in for a split tooth & split gums. they took my number down & i have yet to hear anything for 5 hours now..

Positive experience: The staff, nurses and dentists who helped us were all wonderful and welcoming, very good with kids. Unfortunately due to their questionnaire asking about children’s many different genders we will not be bringing our children back.

Negative experience: Our appt was at 10:30… I was being patient as I could see it was busy, but now multiple people that came in long after us were being called back, so I asked the woman at the front desk how much longer it’s literally been an hour! We finally were called back about ten min after where my 3 year old received multiple numbing shots and the “doctor” repeatedly exited the room for a good 10 minutes each time. She finally admitted, no she was not going to do the procedure that was planned, and that has been done on other teeth with no issues for my daughter. So after a total of being there for two hours, we left with my daughter, numb and crying and absolutely nothing that was planned done. If you go here, I cannot stress enough only see Dr. Stephanie she is the one and only person worth going there for nobody else has a clue what is going on or how to follow through let alone do anything for your child! May I add, my daughter always looks forward to coming to the dentist. After today she cried and cried the entire way home into a good hour of being home and said, “I don’t like the dentist anymore mommy! I am never going there ever again!” I explained that we did not see her normal dentist and that’s why it was such a terrible experience! So great, now what was one of the easier things to do is now going to be extremely difficult going forward all because of today!

Fantastic experience: Today was our third visit. Each time smoother than the last. Reminders prior to visit were excellent. Brought my son back for his appointment exactly on time all three appointments - less than 5 minute wait each time. Perfect cleaning and exam. Top notch and professional.

Negative experience: They NEVER answer the phone… scheduled an appointment online & they called to say a dentist isn’t available… whyyyy do you have that listed as an available appointment then?!

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about this office! My daughter has ADHD and sensory processing challenges, and in the past we’ve struggled to find a dentist who had the patience, compassion, and understanding she needs. Before her first visit, I gave the office a typed letter with recommendations for working with her, and they not only read it—they followed it completely. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make her feel safe and comfortable. The assistant, Tori, was so bubbly and kind, which immediately put my daughter at ease. The dentist took the time to explain every tool, gave her space to process, and respected my request to discuss treatment details with me privately rather than in front of my daughter. This was truly the best dental appointment my daughter has ever had. It even brought tears to my eyes when she said, “I can’t wait to go back to the dentist.” As a parent, that is something I never thought I’d hear. I’m so grateful we found this office, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and accommodating dental team.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Brown and the staff were wonderful. My kids were extremely comfortable especially my daughter who has anxiety of doctor and dentist appointments. The office was busy when I arrived, but the wait times weren’t excessive and I didnt feel rushed.

Negative experience: Worst girl in reception. I called an hour before I get there and she said $62 for service. After kid came out they changed price to $207 without any reason. In 15 minutes they finished and charged insurance for $735. Unbelievable ‍♂️

Fantastic experience: Employees will make or break your view of any business. Working with kids is not the easiest and I’m sure parents can sometimes make things even harder (coming from one)! However, the staff at this location are so kind and accommodating. They always go above and beyond. My kids have had the pleasure of having Jen as their dental hygienist many times and she is so amazing and detailed. She puts them at ease and always makes sure she does a thorough job with their cleanings. It’s such a blessing to know your kids are in great care especially in today’s world. Fantastic experience: My daughter had to have most of her teeth pulled at 2 1/2. What wasn't pulled was capped. All my other kids had perfect teeth like me thank God so this was so hard for me and her. But they have been there through the surgery and now post ops and are so patient. She is going to be 5 this yr and their patience has not wanned. They sent us up for every 3 mo's. Just so she can adjust to coming and having someone x-ray and be checking her progress. And 3 years later, I am writing to say nothing has changed. They have got some new staff but are still utterly amazing. She has gotten better with her visits and we are now at every 6mos. Everyone is so polite and friendly from the front desk to the drs. I would never go anywhere else but Children’s Dental Health! thank you to everyone that works there for being a rockstar!

Fantastic experience: This was my 11 month old child's first visit to the dentist, and naturally, he was a bit upset and nervous. From the moment we walked in, the staff went above and beyond to make us both feel comfortable. What really stood out was how gentle and kind they were with him. When they brushed his teeth he was very upset but they gave him a little toy afterward, which made him so happy. I couldn't have asked for a better first dental experience for my child. Highly recommend this office to any parents looking for a supportive and caring dental team!

Negative experience: I have terrible experience with this children’s dental. My child has wobble teeth, and I signed the paperwork to pull two bottom teeth for my child. During the surgery, the dentist (Dr. Jowhar Brown) pulled the first tooth and my child got full mouth of blood (distracted a couple times and twisted the tooth, my child was in pain but at that time I didnot realize that, I thought that was the loose one). And then he told me there are still two more teeth to pull. I asked him why (I signed the paper for 2 but not 3.)? He told me because the first tooth he pulled was loose too. After I got home, looking at the tooth he pulled, I don’t think that is a loose tooth because of the long and intact root, and this tooth supposed to loose at age of 7. My child was in pain because of the long root and tight the tooth was. We most likely need to go to Orthodontics to install a tooth spacer because this new tooth won't come out in a year, and bottom front teeth will occupy its position. It is not professional at all to pull the extra tooth without asking the parent even it is loose, and I deeply think Dr. Jowhar Brown pulled the wrong tooth and didnot admit!

Negative experience: Be warned, you may be charged an additional “crying fee” for any children who are frightened of the dentist. Dr. Jowhar Brown charged my daughter an additional fee for crying during her appointment claiming she wasted their time and made the next appointments wait but… the dentist was in and out of the room in less than 5 minutes. She’s 3... You would think pediatric dentists would have some patience and grace for small children. The next appointment that was “waiting,” was my son in the next room. Who took no time of his at all either. We spent more time waiting to be seen by the hygienist and then the dentist than the actual time they were in the room with both my children. Yet if he was so busy and so behind, why did he have time to chit chat with my mom (who was in the room with my son), about his upcoming vacations? Makes you wonder how he’s funding his trips to Australia, New Zealand and Japan this year… Edit to add: I had a phone call with the VP of Operations today. While she did share with me a new viewpoint on why the charge was added to my daughter's account, the more I thought on it after the conversation was over, I could not help but think it was just to save face. She insisted that the code used was not a "money grab" so why is there even a charge associated with the code if it is strictly used to provide relevant information about the patient in lieu of a note in the chart? And wait... The CDH Bensalem's Operations Manager, that was accusatory and so rude toward me on the phone last week, told me she already removed the code from her account so why was it still present in the first place? I looked up the cost of “Behavior Management, by Report” code D9920, which was used to bill the insurance. The cost associated ranges from $75-150. On the phone, I was told it was “just” a $10 charge. So insurance companies may pay *just* $10 out of their pocket, yet if you do this to multiple patients a day/week, that can add up REALLY fast. And if insurance ends up denying the claim, they can write it off… which leads to my next point: if they attempt to charge for a service, yet did NOT complete said service… is that not fraud? VP of Operations then stated she was able to remove just the charge from my account yet keep the code in place for the future, just in case my daughter does develop a "behavioral issue" at a later time. Yet I cannot stress enough that being 3 does not give them ANY insight whatsoever about how she will react in 6 months when she goes back to the dentist. Some children cry and can be frightened by the dentist at this age, it is an age appropriate response to someone who is getting in her personal space that she hasn't seen for 6 months. Thanks but no thanks. I am taking my children elsewhere from here on out and I suggest others do the same.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this office! Awesome pediatric dentist office. Great staff, great doctor and a clean office. EFDA Kay was so great with my daughter. Meadow can be a little apprehensive. Kay stepped right in to comfort her. He then showed her everything she was getting done for her first cleaning. My daughter left happy loving the dentist office at 20 months old.

Positive experience: It was our first time in the office. The staff were very friendly and explained everything. I just wish me as a parent was able to meet the Dentist and get the chance to ask them the questions that I had. In the end my kids said they like it!

Negative experience: This is from the same day as her appointment... I was actually a little upset about my daughter's face being dyed brown from the treatment. It was all over her lips, her cheek like a circle about 3 inches big, and her chin. The dye also got all over her clothes and stained it. This was her first cavity so it was a little traumatic for her, (she's very anxious when it comes to doctors or dentists) and she still has to go back for another treatment in 2 weeks. She wouldn't open her mouth so she had to lay on my lap to get it done, that was fine. I just figured the dentist could have been a bit neater. I also asked him if she could spit and he grabbed the suction tool and it freaked her out so much. I would have rather he gave her a cup or a tissue instead of the suction tube because she jumped so high when he did it. (Those tools are scary for a 5 year old) Her first visit (the one before this one) was a positive one and she left saying "this was easy" she did x-rays and all. I was so proud of her! The dentist was really nice, but the approach was a little traumatic. Now 3 full days later and her face is still stained. The dentist said it would be off in 24 hours...

Negative experience: Rated this clinic 5 stars years ago but now changing it to 2 stars. Dentists and assistants are great but I just talked to the rudest person Alizey or however you spell your name when I called to cancel an appointment. RUDE I tell you. I cancelled all future appointments right then. Just letting you know you're losing customers and patients when you hire customer service personnel with zero customer service skills at all.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit with the office. My daughter has Autism and dental visits are very difficult. They were so kind and calm with her. The best experience I have ever had with a Dental office. I highly recommend this practice.

Negative experience: We have been coming to the same office for the last 6 years and every time we come it’s like the first time. Nothing changes on our end but somehow the office can never figure out the insurance. They also push for X-rays every 6 months regardless of there are any dental complaints amongst other unnecessary treatments.

Fantastic experience: They were amazing! I was taking my son to my dentist for cleanings and he had a cavity they were uncomfortable taking care of due to his age and suggested taking him to a pediatric dentist. I called to schedule an appointment with Children’s Dental Health - Bensalem and they had us in a few days later. They were able to treat the cavity then and there and we were out in no time. Not only were they fast and efficient, the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Safe to say this will be his new spot for routine work. I highly recommend taking your kiddos here.

Fantastic experience: In my experience today, the ENTIRE staff was extremely accommodating, professional, detailed and empathetic. Honestly, I dreaded the idea of bringing my son, who is on the spectrum, to his 1st dentist appt. Children's Dental Health Bensalem, made it a walk in the park. The front desk, to the hygienist and even the Doctor were super patient and attentive! Everyone wore a smile. We absolutely love it here! Negative experience: First, the staff there is friendly to the kids and competent-but this is not a good place if you value time. I had an appointment for all 3 of my kids at 3pm. I arrived at 2:55 and signed in. I was handed 3 forms (1 for each kid-4 pages each), the same forms they make me fill out approximately every other time I'm there with the same exact information because they are "updating." I filled them out as fast as I could and handed them in. At 3:30 I went up to the desk, said my appointment was 30 mins ago and will my kids be seen soon? I was told, I think so. 10 more minutes go by, it's now 40 minutes past our appointment, the receptionist tells me the forms were needed for my kids to be seen. Now all 3 kids are going to be late for commitments they had. Finally, they go back. My daughter texts me after 10 mins and said they are just sitting there. I go back and the doctor (dentist) comes- she then says it took so long because I was a few minutes late- I was early! Look, I anticipate 15-20 min wait, but 45 is ridiculous and disrespectful, not to mention filling out the same forms over and over again. My last straw was being told I was late by the dentist. Again, your kids will be fine here- but if you value organization and any semblance of being seen on time- look elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Daughter was seen for more of a dental emergency today for pain and as busy as they were backed up with appointments they scheduled her right in. She is not easy on allowing the dentist to even check her mouth but they made her feel so comfortable that everything needed to get done was done to help her be pain free. Everyone was so friendly the nurse, doctor, even the girl doing the xrays to even the front staff. Highly recommend this dentist so your child feels comfortable with friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: Incredible. The dentist is the only doctor my oldest doesn't mind seeing. It's super clean, the galaxy theme is cool and it keeps my son distracted. All the staff members engaged with him when he was asking questions. We've been going in for almost 4 years now. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: wonderful atmosphere from the front desk to all the staff in the back with the kids, quiet and clean never waited long to be called back and easy to schedule also text reminders often that are helpful. Great dental care for my child will continue to bring her here.

Negative experience: Went in with my 9 year old for one tooth extraction and she came out with three teeth gone. I was not allowed to come back with her for some reason and was not notified or asked if I wanted two extra teeth pulled. My daughter later said she was so afraid and was didn’t want to do it alone. She specifically said it was “traumatizing”. For some reason they decide you can’t come back with your minor children and will not tell you until you get called to the back.

Fantastic experience: My son felt comfortable in the environment. Tha atmosphere made me comfortable as a parent and the staff were very nice.

Fantastic experience: CDH is absolutely AMAZING. They actually helped my daughter and were so patient. They are so kind and efficient. 100% recommend for parents who are looking for a dentist for their children especially children with ASD.

Negative experience: Had to wait a half hour when had a set appointment time, then while waiting come to find out the intense dirty diaper smell that hit people in the face once they walked in the door was from an employee's cooked broccoli that stunk up the whole place. Also need to consider sound proof rooms with the little ones screaming their heads off non stop for X-rays. I think it's time to make a change
