She’s professional, caring, and takes the time to really listen and explain everything in It’s rare to find a doctor and team who work so well together and make every visit such a positive experience. I can’t recommend Dr. Shah and her staff enough!

Negative experience: I had given this place a 4 star review for my prior visit with my son because of the dental hygienist though the front desk staff acted as though I was a welfare recipient or something. However they had me pay out of pocket for my son services when we had full coverage benefits I pay for through my job come to find out they never was supposed to charge me 1 dime. Then on his second visit I requested a refund per my insurnace team and hr team because they was never suppose to charge me anything just bill for the claim and I wanted my money refunded or applied to his chart. However long story short I get a call that I was oblivious to stating I requested to speak with management im lost and confused so once we get to the issue I explain how unprofessional the office was with front desk staffing on 2 different occasions and locations supposed to got my baby scheduled for his ortho treatment and was suppose to get a call back for appt never got the call. Today I get a call pretty much saying I should seek treatment elsewhere for my child because of lack of respect on both ends when the manager Amy stated that she believes me because she encounters it with the staff as well. So screw my child getting treatment because your staff cant be professional with the customers whose bringing you business because without customers you have no business!!!!! Totally absurd to refuse a child treatment and care because the mother request refund and your staff sits laughs talks ignore patients walking in finishes their conversation before acknowledging someone then take money when you shouldn't have and did your job and billed. Its OK it's plenty of great perdiatric Orthodontist around that has great options and staff for families to choose.

Positive experience: Edit: My kids have been going here for 11 yrs now. It used to be such a great experience. My last 2 trips there have not been great. They've hired new ppl who don't seem to know what they're doing. What used to be an easy in & out in 30 min is now taking over an hr. Last 2 times I've been there I find parents complaining or arguing w the staff in the front. Dr. Shah is still amazing & she is the only reason Im considering staying. Love this place. They are always very gentle w my kids & make sure they have a good experience. They understand children don't always enjoy dental trips but they try their best to be very patient & make it enjoyable. Dr Shah is amazing!

My kids have been coming here for about 2 years now, and the staff are always friendly and kind to my kids. Elaine, Ariel and Julie did my kiddos cleaning this past visit, and Dr. Shah is the absolute best EVERY TIME! If you are thinking about bringing your kids, I HIGHLY recommend this place!

She showed me where his molars are coming in, And the dental hygienist was efficient, friendly and fast, They also made sure we had a school note and made a follow up appointment while we were there. Especially after some pretty bad experiences other places with my 6 year old tots was a breath of fresh air. he’s now asking when he can go back. She is now 7 and we had been to 4 other pediatric doctors before coming here. Dr. Shah consulted with us with realistic outcomes. She saved whatever teeth she could instead of just going the easier route to "just pull it out." Very happy with Dr. Shah bedside and work.

Dr. Shah is great and always reassuring to the kids as well as Letty and the rest of the staff. As a teacher, I know how important it is to speak at child level and let them know of all the steps to ease any anxiety and they’re amazing at that!

Negative experience: I have been taking both of my daughters (6 and 2) to Tots to Teens Dentistry since they were infants, always seeing Dr. Poonam Shah, DDS, who has been great. However, something has clearly changed on the administrative and insurance side with this dentistry, and it’s beyond frustrating. I recently had to pull my daughter out of school for an appointment because she was due for her exam and had also been experiencing some mouth pain. After arriving, we waited over an hour—all because they insisted on charging me for preventative services that my insurance covers at 100%. I called my insurance on the spot, and they confirmed that I owe nothing for preventative care. Despite this, I’ve spent over a week going back and forth with this office, trying to get them to acknowledge their mistake and correct it in preparation for my rescheduled appointment. At my last visit six months ago, I paid $0 for the exact same services, with the same insurance. Now, suddenly, they want me to pay over $300 out of pocket and seek reimbursement myself. Absolutely not. When I spoke with Anna today, she admitted there was nothing she could do because the office administrator told her what to say. That tells me everything I need to know—this office has no interest in retaining loyal patients or correcting its errors. It seems like they either don’t know what they’re doing or they do—and they’re trying to push parents into prepaying so they don’t have to deal with insurance. Either way, it’s unacceptable. I will NOT be returning, and I strongly advise other parents to take their children elsewhere. This office does not care about its patients or doing the right thing.

Fantastic experience: Update: I’m updating my review after our recent visit with our kids, and it was a great experience! We were seen promptly and appreciate being able to go in as a family. The staff and dentist were attentive, patient, and kind with all three of our kids. They made the visit smooth and enjoyable. Original: We have 3 kids and multiple times one of their appointments has been rescheduled to a different day without notice. Then we end up having to reschedule the initial appointments so that they can all go on the same day. When we called to reschedule the appointments to another day where they could all go, they still forgot to reschedule one of our kids, and so we had to call back again. This has happened multiple times

Fantastic experience: My son has literally never liked going to the dentist and this was the first time he wasn’t scared or uncomfortable at all and actually enjoyed his dentist appointment so much that he actually wanted to go back. An 8 year old actually excited and wanting to go back to the dentist because of how much he liked it is practically unheard of. So happy to have found this dentist office. Everyone there was so nice and helpful, I’d give ten stars if I could.
