Seriously Dr. Juan Llarena explained every step of the way to my son, my son was still scared and nervous and Dr. Juan Llarena stayed calm and patient like I’ve never seen in my life. Negative experience: We have always enjoyed this clinic, especially with the previous Dr that was there…he was amazing with the kids! Previously even when a long wait occurred it was worth it for him because he was wonderful. Today, we were not impressed at all and seriously considering looking into other options. The assistants were wonderful as usual but the wait to be seen by the dr lasted over an hour, people who were brought in after us and cleaned after us were seen by the Dr before us. She was very rough with our oldests teeth, hurting her while she’s scratched at her teeth, asking does it hurt?, but at her.. not genuinely asking. Never speaking to the parent in the room about the needs of her teeth. Then when the youngest gets in the chair she had him in and out without barely even touching his teeth. There’s more but I will speak directly with the office on it. We were planning on placing braces this year too, and now I don’t know if I want to be working with that Dr that closely or spending my money there.

Fantastic experience: I went here for my braces and they were great! Now I bring my son here and he loves it! He hates the dentist but this is the only one he is calm and lets them work. Definitely recommend.

Negative experience: I was not a fan of the attitude of the woman dentist. She seemed annoyed that I did not get another xray done when we had one done a few months ago, and there are no concerns. She was also very annoyed when I asked what the sealant was and what it was made of that she wanted to put on my son's very healthy teeth. She still did not explain what it was so I decided against it. She pushed back on my decision even though she still would not explain what it was exactly. Because of this, my family will not be coming back. Which is unfortunate, because the male dentist we have seen in the past is very nice and good with my daughter who has special needs, but I'm not willing to support somewhere when the other dentist is so rude and obviously uninformed. The only reason I am even giving 2 stars is because of the male dentist. I would give the femal dentist 0.

Negative experience: When I arrived all the ladies there had an ugly attitude towards me and my kids and whenever my kids went to get a toy the lady looked at my daughter really ugly so no I'm not happy with the way they all behaved I'm only getting my kids checked for their appointments that's it there's no need for them to behave that way… Thank you

Fantastic experience: everytime i have taken my kids and they are 1 & 2 year old they get us in and out fast even if they are busy. they answer all your questions if you have any and also explain everything as they are examining your childs mouth. if your looking for a kids dentist this is the place to go.

ORIGINAL: The staff is very friendly and informative. My 6-year old son’s first experience with the dentist went so well, he actually said he liked it! I was so anxious it was going to be the exact opposite! Looking forward to many more years of service from Victoria Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics!
