Fantastic experience: My daughter has been going to Dakota kids since she was little and is now 14 and every time we go everyone is so pleasant! The doctors go above and beyond to make sure their patients are taken care of!

Fantastic experience: Our first appointment at Dakota Kids Dentistry far exceeded my expectations. I have a disabled child and dental visits in the past have been very difficult due to a lack of accommodation and understanding from providers. That was not at all the case at Dakota Kids. My child was treated with patience, understanding, and dignity. The staff offered a variety of tools and strategies to make the visit more manageable for my child. I was given some helpful tips on how to better address their oral hygiene at home and my concerns were thoroughly and compassionately addressed. I now understand why their office comes so highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I wish this was the dentist's office that I went to as a kid! Everything is good from the intake receptionist to the billing desk. The Doctor and aides do really good work and are very good with my son. He's been there 3 times now and had to have gas once. That experience made him scared to go back but when he did, the aide helped him through it. They were also very patient and accommodating towards me when my insurance was not going through. I was rescheduled with an appointment that was less than 24 hours and had time to straightened my insurance out. They didn't make it a hassle or a big problem. Plus movies during the procedures and prizes after for the kids?? Dr. Kulig is great. I recommend Dakota Kids Dentistry.

Fantastic experience: They do a great job with all three of my boys. The boys are excited to go in and excited when they come out. Communication is clear and easy as well. Plus the waiting room is a great distraction when we do have to wait…which is rarely past our scheduled time

Fantastic experience: We’re paying out of pocket and they gave us a guesstimate on what our price would be before services and I was happy the prices were the same when we finished. They gave her X-rays with a tiny little kid machine, it’s the cutest. The hygienist came and counted her teeth, the dentist came in right after that and also gave her an exam. The dentist and hygienist told me the plan of care for my daughter and any questions I had, they answered it. They have options for financing and they really don’t make you feel dumb or embarrassed about it. This office is very nice and you can see they really like their job very much! Thanks for a great experience!

Fantastic experience: I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Lisa and the entire team at Dakota Kids Dentistry. From the moment you walk through the door to the very end of your visit, the level of care and kindness is truly exceptional. The waiting room is filled with fun activities to keep kids entertained and help them feel at ease. The reception team is always smiling, welcoming, and attentive. Behind the scenes, the hygienists and staff are simply wonderful with my 6-year-old, making sure he’s comfortable, happy, and never afraid of his visit. Dr. Lisa herself is a true gem. She takes the time to connect with my son, asking about his day, his activities, and what’s going on in his world. She patiently answers every question and makes sure we leave feeling informed and cared for. I honestly couldn’t imagine taking my boys anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: My Autistic son and young daughter always have the most pleasant visits with the Dakota Dentistry team. Everyone is so kind and patient and very efficient. Dr.Zmoos and especially Mrs. Julie work so hard and keeping my kids at ease to make sure they have no fear of their examination. I'm going to be really sad when my kids eventually age out of this facility.

Fantastic experience: I took my 3yo twins in for the first time this week and the staff was very patient and sweet to them. They helped calm them down and help them to feel safe and comfortable. They were all very personable and knowledgeable. I’m definitely happy with our choice to start taking my boys there vs our family dentist!

Theu make the dentist and enjoys thingnfor the kids, and I think that's absolutely amazing! My kids enjoys the dentist very much! All the staff is wonderful, thorough, and very informative, I've never left feeling unaware. I would recommend Dakota Kids Dentist to anyone! They are great! My kids look forward to every appointment!

Fantastic experience: They are quick, but thorough with their exam which is really helpful when you have a kicking and screaming toddler getting the checkup. They give recommendations on things to do differently to prevent problems with their teeth in the future. They are always friendly and respectful.

Negative experience: Tried making a appointment recently and was told my account was locked due to a missed appointment 5 yrs ago...well 5 years ago my now 7yr old ( ( 2 at the time )had a regular cleaning and at this place and came out with a MOUTHFUL OF COLD SORES!!!!!! THAT'S WHY I MISSED IT. they are one of the only places for children.

Fantastic experience: This place has it figured out...my two year old sat thru a full exam including flouride treatment, brushing and flossing...the Dental Tech was simply amazing! The doc came in a made my lil girl feel like a star! Top class operation. Also. Plenty of COVID19 mitigation in place...outstanding! UPDATE: my now 6 year old actually looks forward to a dentist appointment because of this place...love it here. Was in and out in less than 30 mins. Top class organization! Update to the update: still the best in the business. Organized, efficient, Caring and above what you would ever expect from a visit to the dentist

Fantastic experience: We are self pay and they laid everything out very nicely for us as far as what we would be paying. The hygienist was very kind and so was the dentist and my 5 year old daughter was very content and not scared at all!

Fantastic experience: Great experience! I could tell that the dentist and staff truly cared about my concerns for my child. This was our first visit and check-in was easy. The waiting room was full of options to keep kids busy (especially helpful when they could be nervous) with a movie, arcade games, an interactive screen with games, and toys. We were seen in a timely manner where everything was clean and clearly designed to make little ones (and their parents) feel at ease. My child loved picking a treasure at the end, too! I definitely recommend!

Negative experience: I was rejected my daughter’s appt being 10 mins late and the girl at reception was so disrespectful and not professional. When you travel two hr with kids anything can accord my daughter had an accident on her self so as a parent I had to adjust that and when I showed up the appt she said oh well we can’t do nothing for you we have people drive two hours all the time and are not late and she quotes like herself

Fantastic experience: We’ve been seeing Dr. Kulig since my children’s teeth pushed through their gums! Her and Ms. Julie are always so patient and kind with my very anxious children. I love how they explain everything they’re doing to my oldest and take special care with my youngest. Very welcoming and clean environment. Highly recommend this place and I’m certain regardless of which doctor or tech you get, you’ll be treated with care as soon as you walk in!

Fantastic experience: I have 3 kids and we've been going to Dr. Zmoos for 7 years. Cant say enough good things about him and his staff. I struggle with massive anxiety in public settings and the people in this office seem to do their best to ease that. They are all very informative as well, I have learned a lot from them.

Fantastic experience: This is an excellent dentistry business to take children to. If anywhere near Minot and you have a child, this is the place to take them for pediatric dentistry above all other dentistry places. They work with children in the best way possible. I would only recommend Dakota Kids Dentistry for pediatric dentistry. Love them!!!!

Fantastic experience: Weve been long long LONG time patients...almost twenty years. We miss Dr Behm very much. While the new-ish dentists are great, there have been changes such as reducing the maximum age of patients from 18 down to 16 and reducing hours so that they are certainly not hurting for patients. That said, the highlight for us is that most of the hygenists are still here and they are the absolute best and my kids enjoy their visits.

She recently had to get a tooth extracred, and she was very anxious ahead of time. They made her feel so at ease and talked her through every step of the way! Dr Zmous and his assistants are all amazing!

Fantastic experience: So typically we have to go in the room because she does not enjoy going to the dentist and will cry loudly. We asked to be out with her brothers and they gladly accommodated our request. Not one tear, she smiled and now she likes the dentist!

Positive experience: I have been taking my two daughters here for over a year now. MOST of the staff is friendly. Absolutely love our dentist. Had only a couple thing happen at the office. One time my then 5 year with adhd couldn’t focus the way the dental hygienist(have not seen her there again) wanted to and she started saying rude comments and saying she was not gonna get a prize from the get go. Then one time I got a text message saying that my daughters appointment was at a certain and day and when we went they were closing and the lady’s at the scheduling area treated me like a complete lair and crazy. Really sucks there going down to one dentist now that one is retired and one going on maternity leave.

Fantastic experience: The office and staff made it comfortable for my daughters, that both had some fears. They have the cutest decor and again can’t stress how kind the staff was. The appointment desk helped me assess future cost and payment options- I truly enjoyed this business and thankful they are in minot!

Fantastic experience: The hygienist very tactfully removed my daughters tooth. My daughter was terrified to have her loose tooth even touched! The hygienist put a q-tip with numbing cream on it and talked to her the whole time. My daughter didn’t even realize it had come out and was so happy to not be in pain when the hygienist told her she “accidentally bumped it and it just fell out”!

Fantastic experience: I wish this place was here when I was a kid. My daughter had a baby tooth removed that was stuck between two teeth. My daughter didn't know she got multiple shots and tooth removed until we left. They are so happy and positive. He's like a wizard of the tooth industry!

Fantastic experience: My toddler loves the “tooth doctor” and was able to talk and giggle and enjoy her time without being scared! She loves brushing her teeth and has stayed cavity free! We appreciate how great they are with the kids and will be returning customers ❤️

Fantastic experience: The check in process is flawless and desk personnel are very friendly. The waiting room and patient rooms are fun and disarming for children. My two year old has been twice and each time had different hygienists but both were extremely competent, playful, and in control of a wiggly toddler. The doctor was gentle and so kind that even after the cleaning my toddler was content enough to go through the checkup. They do all they can to make the experience enjoyable for kids and they do a great job of it. 5/5 stars!

The are so friendly and take the time to explain and make sure you understand everything! the kids had such a a good experience!

My daughter really struggles with going to the dentist and is extremely afraid of possible pain… she still struggles but I know she’s in great hands and all staff at Dakota Kids Dentistry have all the handy tricks in the book to put her at ease!

Fantastic experience: Doctor Zmoos and all the dental assistants are absolutely fabulous with children. They take care to make young kids especially feel at ease. The decorated exam rooms help quite a bit as well. They are also willing to work with you on payment.

Fantastic experience: They did great with my son dental surgery even before hand they made sure he was happy relaxed and sang and danced with him just get him comfortable they gave him a stuffed monkey and lots of stickers among called after his dental work check on him they answer any question that I had .sent this card home for my son with lots of love and encouragement for him to keep brushing his teeth

Positive experience: I had such high standards for this place and loved it very much and still do. But on my daughters last visit, she is scared of the dentist (as am I) haha but the lady cleaning her teeth and doing her x-ray seemed a bit annoyed with my daughter. Which upset me. I get it they’re busy and need to get everyone seen. But her seeming annoyed by my daughters distress gave me a negative impression. I hope anyone else does not experience this.

Fantastic experience: I drive 2 hours each way to take my daughter here because she just absolutely loves them and going to the dentist, They are so amazing with her and always make her feel so comfortable. Always a wonderful experience, the staff is amazing. Worth the drive!

Fantastic experience: Such a calm and kid friendly space. The space is decorated with kids in mind. There are kid loved movies going to relax and distract them. Even down to the size of the equipment like the plastic mouth pieces they use and the X-rays. The staff is also so kind. They were calm and friendly. Kept giving positive reinforcement to my child like “so proud of you buddy”. They really helped him get through the procedure without him getting upset. Great place!! We drive over two hours to get there but it is so worth the drive.

Fantastic experience: Love this place & the staff! I have 5 kids & they always do their best to get us in all on the same day because we live 2 hours away. They are friendly, fun & great with kids! Their rooms are also kid friendly to keep the little ones from getting anxious. Highly recommend them for you littles.

Fantastic experience: My 5 year old has been going since age 2 and 3 year old has been going since born. We see Dr Zmoos and love it here. So good with kids. We drive an hour to come here vs the dentist in our town. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff. Was able to get an appointment fairly quickly. Plenty of reminders of the day coming up. When we got there I was impressed by how quickly they were brought in. Being with the the 4yr old daughter, I got to see how the nurse and dentist made the whole situation fun for the kids. Peyton had alot of fun and couldn't stop talking about it into the next day.

Fantastic experience: My son who is almost 4 had never been to the dentist. We moved to North Dakota almost 2 years ago and I finally made the appointment for him to get his teeth checked before he hit 4. I googled kids dentist’s in my area since I’m not from here and don’t have anyone to really ask, and Dakota Kids Dentistry was the first to pop up. So I called and they got him in within the first week of that call! I have a extreme fear of dentists and try not to show my son my fear, we walked in and he got excited! The lady’s up front are sweet, kind, and amazing, got us checked in super easy and quick. He gets called back and lead the way himself back. They took pictures of his teeth with ease and he did amazing! They looked over his teeth and advised us of what they seen throughout the visit. Came up with a quick treatment plan and away we went! Overall experience is excellent and we are definitely going back to Dakota Kids Dentistry!

Fantastic experience: Parent of 3 kids that all went to Dakota kids starting at age 2. All hv no problems going to the dentist! My 12 yr old boy just asked when his appt was because his sister just went & he was hoping it was soon. Oldest just aged out at 18 but they are great at helping this age find a new dentist & will send records at your request.

Fantastic experience: The entire dental team is so patient and kind to their patients! It was my 2 year olds first time and my 4 year olds second time. I was extremely worried it wouldn’t go well, but the entire staff made the kids feel at ease!

Fantastic experience: I love taking my children to this dentist. They are so kind and patient. They make checking the kids teeth a fun experience. They are extremely well at articulating the needs of their patients in an understandable way. Also the prize at the end of the appointment is the best and will definitely make my kids want to go to the dentist.

Negative experience: Don’t go here! And if you have to for your kids, avoid Dr Zmoos at all costs. He will “recommend” treatment for your kids that they don’t “need” but that he thinks will help. And if you elect not to go through with the “recommended” treatment plan which costs several thousand dollars to deal with your child’s BABY teeth, he reports you to CPS for neglect. Nvm that you actually take your kids to the dentist twice a year like you are supposed to. You can’t trust him. We were very unfortunate that our kids got switched to him from the other dentist there. tl;dr: Dr Zmoos will steal your money or your reputation. Either way, he wins.
