Fantastic experience: We’ve been coming to see Dr. Swauger and Dr. Suiter for 5 years now and I can’t say enough good things about their practice and skill. From getting me in on a holiday weekend for an emergency extraction to a simple exam they are the best in the Nashville area. My kiddos truly feel at ease with them and they do so well at minimizing fear and pain. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Swauger and Christine his dental assistant are top Notch! My daughter Haley was so scared of the dentist ( she is special needs) and we have. Been to them three times once in Hendersonville and twice in Madison and they have worked with her each time to make her comfortable at her own pace and today she was such a big girl and actually let them clean teeth and do some xrays! You can tell they love what they do and love the kids! Their patience and kindness is really what is the best! Thank you so much! If I could give more stars I would!!!

My cheeks hurt from smiling so hard from seeing how empathetic and supportive they were to my son. This is truly a great office!

Fantastic experience: Being the parent of a child with autism makes everything a little more intense! Choosing the right dentist is key for the child that you have. These early interactions are so important and they shape our experiences. This dentist has been awesome. In the beginning when I knew I would have to hold him down, I demanded I be the only one to hold him. EVER!!! I was met with resistance at first but they quickly recognized I was capable and I wouldn’t get in the way. After that it’s been smooth sailing. Today he was excited to go! He will be 8 in may and has been going to Swaugger since he was maybe 4? They’re great and they aren’t shaken by tears and screaming. He’s never been hurt or in pain one time so it’s all just dramatics and fear at first.For him to be excited to go and then lay in the chair perfect and let them actually clean his teeth is HUGE!!!! great bunch of people and his lady dentist is very cool as well as patient and thorough in her explanations.. I can’t think of her name ugh! Shes a tiny thing and young. Thanks Swaugger and suiter for being so patient with my wild child.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful! I have a 4 and 3 year old and I get so anxious taking them to the dentist not knowing how they are going to respond. They did so good today at our new patient appointment!! They loved it. The staff were amazing. Highly recommend.

All of the staff were very friendly and the office itself is bright and open and has very good energy. So happy to have this dentist office close to our home in Madison!

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful place! Everyone we spoke to was so incredibly nice. From the front desk to the dental hygienist to the doctor, the amount of attention, knowledge, and care are top notch. The selection of games in the front office and the tvs above the child chairs in the back are great idea and kept my daughter occupied, she did not cry once and this was her very first dentist visit. Keeping a toddler relaxed is no easy feat in a new situation! I am thankful we found this place and I would refer this office to whomever is looking for a great dentist for their child.

Fantastic experience: My son is two and had his first appointment this morning at 8:am. We were in the car by 8:22 am. The staff if wonderful and the office has a kid friendly design. They even have TV's mounted to the ceiling playing cartoons at each bay for the kids to watch while being serviced .The dentist sang to him to calm him and the hygienist was a sweetheart and answered all my questions. My only problem with the office is they don't take adults lol. I want some boys to sing to my while cleaning my teeth. Parents I urge you to give them a try.

My son hates doctors appointments and started freaking out when the dentist was checking his teeth, and the dentist started massaging his cheek and singing, and he calmed my some down and everything went smoothly after that. I was very impressed and thankful. When I called to make an appointment, they picked up the phone immediately and got me scheduled within a minute of making the call. Seriously, they are awesome.

The upfront girls could use some work on how they explain directions but Dr curt is a god send not only is he amazing with my son and the other kids I saw him with but he's great with parents I've always gotten very bad anxiety surrounding the dentist but he noticed and talked to me gave all the reassurance I needed to stay calm him and his team make me wish they could work on my own teeth!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: My son had to get his tooth removed and it was a smooth experience! The staff are always pleasant! The doctors and nurses/hygienists are professional and will answer any questions or concerns you may have regarding the procedure / general dental care. My kids love the game setting in the lobby, enjoy watching the tv, and getting a prize after each visit.

Fantastic experience: My son is autistic waited awhile before first appointment due to behavioral issues. they were amazing gave him toy , slowly brushed his teeth both us parents helped hold him to calm him. He eventually when dentist came started open mouth more we very happy how he kept trying how easily both hygienist and dentist worked well with him !

Fantastic experience: Swauger & Suiter continue to impress! The personnel (office staff and medical team both), layout and ambiance have created the ideal experience for kids, even my nonverbal autistic 5yo! For parents, the doctors are constantly assuring you of what they're doing and that you can have all the time you need. They won't let you leave with unanswered questions! AND even if you think of things after you leave, they respond without delay and give full responses with all the details. They make caring for your child easier than I ever imagined from a Pediatric dentist. Watching my son initiate climbing and laying down on the dental chair for his pre-op appt, in a new office just weeks after having his teeth cleaned and x-rays in another office,with such comfort and confidence (even though he HATES anyone touching his mouth) almost made me cry this morning. I do and will keep recommending them to everyone I know, especially to parents whose kids need accommodations that other offices just cant/don't offer. They're amazing!! Surgery is scary and I'm a ball of nerves. Come Friday, I am certain my little guy is in competent, caring hands. Thanks S&S! ☺️

Fantastic experience: Dr Swauger and Dr Suiter have ALWAYS treated our family with such genuine care and respect. I’ve heard horror stories with children and dentist, but I’ll never forget when my oldest son had to get his 2 front teeth pulled due to an accident and he walked out smiling and laughing. Today was no different, my youngest has 2 small cavities and walked out to immediately play a game in the lobby. It’s the best knowing that your children are in good hands with the medical professional you choose. We are grateful to have heard about them 20 years ago through my Aunt.

Fantastic experience: Amazing place to take your kids. There very nice and does seem that they love kids. My little sister has been afraid of the dentist but not today they help her pass her fear and getting her in and out as soon as possible. Would recommend everyone to take there kids here.

Fantastic experience: Consistently excellent dental care for our twin girls for the last seven years. I appreciate the remarkable efficiency of the cleanings since I have yo wait for two kids twice a year — but I’m seldom in the office more than half an hour since hygienists can see both kids at once. Dr Swauger came in on a holiday when our child fell, broke a tooth and it needed immediate extraction.

Negative experience: My son has been going there for years, he’s now 11. He had 2 bad cavities but it took 3 months to get him on the books for the fillings. At his last appointment, after the lecture about how it was almost a root canal and he needs to brush better (on the brushing I do agree), I asked if he was all good now and the dentist said yes. Come to find out he had another huge cavity that we found after a baby molar came out. When trying to address this today with Dr. Swauger, (and I do appreciate that they saw him today although it’s because we showed up there, not that they responded to my email or text) my husband was told about the thousands of patients he has and he listed off other places we could go. While I’ve overall been fairly satisfied with his care, it seems to me that Dr. Swauger is more concerned with quantity over quality. Not sure why you’d have thousands of patients but not be concerned about the quality of their care and suggest they go elsewhere. But ok, guess that’s what we will go ahead and do permanently. ‍♀️

Fantastic experience: This dental office is exceptional! My son was terrified of seeing another dentist because he was traumatized by the practice we were going to previously, and he now BEGS for me to take him! They make you feel so comfortable and welcome on your first visit, allowing you to sit with your child in the back, which was something his previous dentist's office didn't permit (and my reason for being unhappy with them). They have several video games in the waiting room for the kiddos! Not to mention, the dentist was so amazing at making my son feel comfortable and at ease.. All in all, this place is wonderful, and I highly, HIGHLY recommend giving them a shot. I look forward to seeing my child grow with this practice for years to come. We have found our dental home!!

Positive experience: We came for a second opinion. I appreciated the time the hygienist and doctor took with us. I was really thankful to have understanding people listening and explaining things to us. My son needs extensive work done. It’s not emergent, but it’s definitely something that needs to be dealt with sooner than the scheduled appointment. The wait for dental work is 4 months…at either location. I’m a little upset about the wait time. It seems excessive. I’m not sure what to do about it going forward.
