Fantastic experience: The staff was phenomenal!!! The staff provided precise and concise information concerning my son. They were very attentive to our needs and feelings. The staff worked well together as a team and I will continue to support them!!!

Fantastic experience: My daughter's absolutely LOVED Briana! (Not positive if thats how she spells her name) when we left today they told me they actually had fun and cant wait to go back and its all because of her! Everyone here is amazing but Briana made it special!

Negative experience: I am not sure what has happened over the last year, but everything has gone downhill. They took down all the little prize machines for the kids. They don't open the doors until 8am so all the people with 8am appointments are walking in at the same time. Even at 8am, the floors are filthy like somebody forgot to vacuum at closing the night before. I overheard the front desk lady say that the office manager quit and there was no manager. She was really kind to the person on the phone though. We are considering different options but wish it could just be like it was last year.

Positive experience: The hygienist brianna was great my daughter said she hopes she gets her from now on ... The dentist was a little fast but he also new exactly was he was doin

Negative experience: The lady that did my daughter’s cleaning was amazing and so nice the dentist wasn’t rude but wasn’t very talkative like you would think to be working with children very short the last dentist we had was more interactive with her but all three times we been here it has taken hours the girls up front at the desk aren’t very friendly for this place to deal with children when we find a dentist that takes our insurance we will never come back I’m sorry I wouldn’t tell anybody to come here Have to add one of the older ladies was very rude to one of the other nurses speaking on how she or others shouldn’t be in the scheduling if they can’t do it correctly making the young lady cry have to step away in front of a room full of clients

Fantastic experience: I’m giving this a five star because the tech who took care of my two youngest today. She was absolutely the best and she explained everything to my children to the fullest and made it a very enjoyable dentist trip hands down the dark brown curly hair lady could learn something from her she was tall and had her hair braided and she was hand down the best and had the best attitude which made my children not afraid. If it wasn’t for her I would have left one star. The tech/lady she has dark brown curly hair and was an older lady who cleaned my oldest son’s teeth. Shame on you. This is children and the way you spoke to my child and everything you expected a perfect little dude btw he’s six. Not once did you explain anything you where doing you just acted fed up just like the front desk people. I’m very irritated with how snappy she was with my six year old . Shame on yal. The lady’s at the desk absolutely need to learn some better customer services, and as for the tech with dark brown curly hair shame on you. If that’s how you want to act and treat children who are more than likely scared anyway work anywhere else but with children, just saying, yals attitude sucks.

Fantastic experience: We drive 5 and a half hours (ONE WAY) just so our kids can be seen at this office! The staff is absolutely amazing! Hands down THE BEST children's ortho and dentist office in Tennessee! The care they receive is always 5 stars! I highly recommend them to EVERYONE with children! The staff are all so nice and welcoming. You leave there with no questions unanswered and a happy patient! We've not had a negative experience yet! We will absolutely continue making this drive for this care by this wonderful staff!! Thank you Cumberland ortho and dentistry for being so amazing with my son (soon to be kids)! It means a lot!!

Fantastic experience: This dentist is by far my favorite pediatric dentist. My son isnt even 2 yet but we wanted to get him checked at the dentist to stay on top of hos dental hygiene. The dentists and the assistants at this facility show that they care, they are gentle when babies might get a little scared, they prove every time I am in there what keeps me coming back with each of my children. They dont make it a terrible experience even if the baby is scared or doesn't want to do it. They make it fun and they comfort the child before continuing. I will continue to bring my children here and I will continue to recommend this dentist to anyone with children. They are an hour away from my home and I will choose them every time.

Positive experience: Love this place. Very efficient when it comes to regular teeth cleanings. All my kids love coming to the dentist. The only thing I would like to see changed is sending out the check in links prior to the appointment. It is too stressful to try and complete the paperwork every visit while waiting to be called. Usually we don’t have a long wait, which is wonderful, but then makes it difficult to be present during the appointment.

Fantastic experience: I brought my 13 month old to assess a broken tooth. Of course X-rays were needed to assess the integrity of the tooth. Between him screaming (sorry for everyone in earshot) they were able to get the shot…Bravo! The nurse was quick with the cleaning, flossing, and fluoride of his 6 teeth and had so much patience for my screaming child, I on the other hand was embarrassed with how bad he was being. The doctor (I think Dr. Hensley) was so nice and informative of what our next steps with the broken tooth and incoming teeth were going to be. Everyone was so nice!

Fantastic experience: I loved everyone, the dentistry was set up a little differently then most places but very effective, everyone was nice and very pleasant.. my grandchildren had such a good afternoon..hugs and kisses ..

Negative experience: Nikita Floyd is an unprofessional worker. She was rude when my mother had a problem with the insurance company that extended up to three months where I was not given any treatment during that time due to a wrongfully duplicated insurance number which later on, the insurance company recognized their fault. Meanwhile, my mother tried to keep explaining the issue to her respectfully so we can settle down everything, Nikita (also known as Kiki) said in a contemptuous tone of voice that we just haven’t paid yet in front of everyone as she was trying to make us look bad for having an issue where money was not the problem. Adding, she is rude during phone calls whether is just for confirm an appointment or even to notify us for anything. It is unacceptable this type of treatment from a “professional worker” that her job is to ensure a positive and supportive client service which is compromised due to her lack of patience and incompetence to be a respectful person.

Fantastic experience: Cumberland staff has been so good to us. They are so good with my son who has severe autism. I am thankful for them and how they help my son have a positive experience at the dentist!

Fantastic experience: I booked two hygienist appointments online, back to back. There was trouble with the paperwork when I came in, and one appointment never went through, so I don’t recommend booking online. However, the front desk staff was amazing, and they worked me in where they were able to see both children. The visit was efficient. The staff was professional, and we already booked our next appointment.

Fantastic experience: Lobby was full but yet we only waited for about 5 minutes for our appointment. We were 1 minute late and they were calling us to make sure we were still coming in. Thankfully we were parking the car and walking in. They were on the ball.

Negative experience: Do not take your kid(s) to this place. Not professional, does not communicate well, will constantly need to reschedule your appointment. This entire experience has been a disaster. Take your kid(s) to Happy Harpeth Dentistry.

Positive experience: We arrived 15 minutes before our child’s scheduled appointment and had to wait an hour before she was actually taken back for her appointment. The dental techs and dentist are good but the reception and scheduling could use improvement. It seems like they’re over scheduling and causing delays. An hour wait for a 3yr old is a long time.

Fantastic experience: SUSAN is AMAZING!!! Usually when I take my six-year-old to the dentist she is a little scared, she has had a bad experience at another dentist and remembers it very well. However, Miss Susan at Cumberland pediatric dentistry took the time and actually explained to my daughter what she was going to do before she did it therefore easing my daughter's anxiety / hesitation and allowing her to have a more enjoyable pleasant experience. I would just like to thank her again for going above and beyond.

Negative experience: I don’t recommend if u need an emergency appointment or something happens threw day if u don’t have a appointment with them already for cleaning or exam good luck can’t get them to answer the phones and the front staff are rude.

From the moment we walked in, they made my child feel at ease with their warm, friendly demeanor and genuine care. They were incredibly patient, explaining every step in a way that was comforting and easy for my child to understand. Now my son loves coming to the dentist! Thanks Kayley and Megan

Negative experience: I’ve had multiple issues with this office regarding appointment rescheduling and confirmation there has been serious lack of communication. I was not proper not about changes and the follow ups where inconsistencies are non-existent when I brought this up, the staff showed little concern and offered no apology Or effort to make things right unfortunately this experience has made me lose confidence and a professionalism and care for patients

Fantastic experience: I have to say, Selene is the BEST. She was so kind, patient, and gentle with my girls. They’re normally very scared at the dentist but she made them feel comfortable and not a single tear was shed. This woman deserves a raise!! Thank you, Selene :)

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars I would. First off, the reception was ridiculously unprofessional. They literally started arguing in front of me about who checked me in and why it wasn’t done correctly. Then my daughter and I told them what tooth has been bothering her. They clean her teeth and set up an appointment to get her teeth capped. My husband takes her to the appointment and they capped two teeth neither was the one she was complaining about. She is still complaining about this one tooth hurting so my husband takes her back. They proceed to tell my husband that they touched and touched her tooth and she never complained so she must be making this up. Pretty much called my daughter a liar. Two weeks later my daughter’s gum around the tooth she originally complained about is so ridiculously swollen I can tell that she has developed an abscess. We took her to a different dentist who said the infection is so bad her tooth is now having to be pulled. So thank you Cumberland Pediatrics for gaslighting my daughter’s tooth pain and causing her to have a tooth pulled at 4 years old.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Logan is a great dentist he was so patient with my daughter and very understandable. Brittany and Kiara are the best assistants they were patient and kind. I would recommend this practice to anyone who's looking for a pediatric dentist

Negative experience: Was very unhappy this time go around I had to wait 50 minutes for my kids to be called back when his appointment was at 10:00 and they were taking kids in that got there after him and they told me on the phone that they couldn't see them after 15 minutes late for appointment time and I do not appreciate them taking kids in before him when he was there 45 minutes early

Positive experience: I am not a person who writes a lot of reviews. However, I believe that it is important to give the proper attention to your patients. Someone who I think coordinates the treatments left a voicemail. When I checked in the front desk they said that my appointment was missed and I needed to be rescheduled. And if wasn’t because a lady helped me, my kid would’ve been sent back home with tooth pain for a couple more months, and the actual person who did that mistake offered no type of help whatsoever. So I had to ask for her name and was told that it was Jaqueline. It’s such a shame that the hard work from the doctor and nurses in the back get overshadowed by imcompent behavior. I hope this gets resolved quickly so other parents don’t have to go through this

Fantastic experience: Very friendly team of dedicated Nurses and Doctors. They took care of my three children in just few minutes in less than 30 minutes. The treatment was excellent and this was our first time at the clinic. Both nurses and the doctors have a heart of gold. Big kudos to you all.

He has never had any sort of dental work done besides his yearly cleanings and he was definitely struggling. Everyone in there was so comforting to him and just kept giving him words of encouragement throughout the whole process. We absolutely love this Dentist and will continue going here and recommending them to friends.

Positive experience: Staff is very nice. Anticipate that you will wait a minimum of 30 minutes past your scheduled appointment time regardless of if it's a routine dental visit or orthodontist visit. We have had multiple appointments here and we have never been taken back prior to 30 minutes past our appointment time.

Positive experience: Let me give flowers 1st ❤️ Front desk staff⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dentist staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dentist ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Orthodontist staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Scheduling ⭐️ —>Orthodontist review: the Braces experience so far…..I am not pleased what-so-ever I’ve been holding off my review until I was able to speak with someone and nothing has changed at all this is the second time brackets have fallen; and I can’t understand how the 1st time the brackets (all from both sides) was literally less than a week after getting them had to wait a month to get them back in ( meaning no correction are happening for a month) and had to miss work bc those appointments only are certain times no wiggle room no accommodation and the same staff does all the procedures so I’m really meh ok…. Now here we are again and another bracket has fallen off 12/19-20 ( from “strong brace glue”) and a another morning appoint required 1 month an 11 days later but we are consecutively paying monthly but actual progress is delayed or choppy which will either leave the end result mediocre or it will need to be extended …. Once again super sweet staff ; I just don’t like to feel like my time or money is wasted or played with. FYI This is just 4 months of treatment going into 5 months and 2out of those 4 it’s just a braceface smile with no actual progress or correction being done. I hope will be able to update my review in the near future Also FYI ( I’ve had braces for 3 years in my adulthood and only had my bracket pop off ONCE and it was my fault…eating a crawfish iykyk and my ortho got me in the next day so my treatment would NOT be delayed) so I know what to feed/buy and what not to and how to educate my son and I know kids will be kids but still isn’t adding up for me

Negative experience: The people that treat there are fine but not worth dealing with appointments getting canceled without reason or warning, false promises of calls or calls being returned when you leave a voicemail, and being charged more than originally being told. It's not just me either, a family member of mine has had the same issues. Friendliness to your face is not worth all the things "they'll talk to their manager about".

Negative experience: Tried 2 separate occasions to book online. Received a text that they needed my insurance information. I responded back very shortly thereafter, with information. They canceled his appointment. Furious. This has happened twice at the same location. I did not get a cancelation notice

Alexandra worked great with my kids who are highly emotional and deal with anxiety. She walked through every step of the process and promised goodies after. Again, 2025: son got braces. The techs really know what they’re doing and handle children very well.

Fantastic experience: We had to go in for an urgent visit due to my daughter chipping her permanent front tooth. They were so easy to work with us. The customer service was outstanding. The dentist and assistants were so polite and very attentive. They made the process so easy and fearless. Five stars!!

Fantastic experience: The office staff and the hygienist were very kind and patient with my grandchildren at their appointments today. I was very impressed in how smoothly and organized it was, I was a little apprehensive at first when I saw a waiting room full of kids and their parents but we were called back after only a short waiting period. I would recommend them highly.

Negative experience: I used to love this place. Lately getting anyone to answer the phone for a simple appt or to get help has been hard. I’ve been on the phone for an hour waiting for someone to answer the phone so I can have my child’s referral emailed to the provider needing it.

Positive experience: Only two of the tablets worked for the kids to play and not many toys to occupy but that’s a simple fix haha. Everyone was friendly getting my son in last minute due to a spacer falling out and helping set up appointments for our next visit to everyone really understanding they are working with children is so reassuring! If you want to make dental visits a breeze for your kids come here!

Fantastic experience: I was so impressed with the dental assistant that worked with my son on 6/26. He is very scared of the dentist office and we have such a hard time at dental appointments, but she really got him to come around to so much more than he has at an appointment ever. She was wonderful with him. The dentist was great as well. He said he isn't scared for his next appointment and he hopes to have them again.

Negative experience: I used to love this office when I first started bringing my children here a few years ago but now it is a huge disappointment. Clinical staff not doing their jobs properly, making patients wait for over an hour for their appointments, 3 months (if not more) to have children teeth fixed , Front desk with inappropriate manners and lack of communication, automotive messages is a failure especially when the staff does not communicate with the patient’s Guardians when the messages fail! They used to call when automative messages fail but now you no longer get that just a cancellation message and lies from the staff! This office used to be amazing when it came to patient care and wellness as well as communication. Best advice , learned to stop accepting new patients! because you’re not only overwhelming your patients but as well as your staff! If other specialties and doctor’s offices can do this then so can this office. Get it together!

Fantastic experience: It was my son’s first time at the dentist and he was nervous. They did a great job of making him feel comfortable and not forcing anything. They took time to explain everything in age appropriate ways. The atmosphere was clean and kid friendly!

Positive experience: There was some hiccups with the call center and setting the appointment so I was super early they told me 11 but my appointment was scheduled for 11:30. When I tried to reschedule an appointment could never get through to the call center. The office was nice, friendly and clean. The employee was amazing and answered all my questions. All in all my child and I had a good experience.

Fantastic experience: First time patients with the grandkids. One was a little freaked out but the hygienist was able to calm him down and the rest of our time went smooth. They are looking forward to the nxt visit UPDATE 6 MONTHS LATER We were so lucky to get the same hygienist. Thank you again for making my grandson feel so comfortable.

Negative experience: I have been visiting this office for 4 years and I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH A BAD EXPERIENCE as today. I needed to make an appointment for my son to get braces and the girl NAME was NIKETA! in charge of making my consultation and the budget was very busy talking to a friend, SHE WASN'T DOING ANYTHING JUST TALKING, and for a long time if you can watch the cameras and you will realize that she wasn't doing anything even her body posture says it all, and she was so disrespectful and rude that a girl told her that I wanted to make an appointment and she made a very rude gesture as did her friend, really if I have to make an appointment I NEVER WANT IT TO BE HER, I DON'T WANT HER TO EVER SERVE ME, HORRIBLE, her BOSS SHOULD BE MORE CAREFUL WHEN HIRING A PERSON WHO WILL HAVE CONTACT WITH THE PUBLIC BECAUSE WITH THIS TYPE OF PERSON ONE WILL NEVER WANT TO RETURN. They should review their behavior with the people who visit the place!

Fantastic experience: Staff members are very polite and patient even when slammed with patients. Dentist took his time with my son and explained procedures. I heard him talking to another patient about brushing techniques and he was very kid oriented. This office is very busy but they are efficient and things run smoothly there. My son has been going there for 5 years.

Fantastic experience: My son is a new paitent and we live/drove 4 hours from where we live to the office for him to be seen. It was a great first impression and appointment. My son needed an extraction and was able to have it done in office, quickly, safely and he said they were very nice to him. As a child,12 he's had bad experiences in the past with dentists and the staff working with him and Dr Hensley were amazing with him and at their job. The staff was amazing and super friendly! Everyone was very helpful and the office itself is very clean, kid friendly and an overall great dentist experience for my son.

Negative experience: 2. Is my answer because when my daughter had her first tooth come in they were wonderful never ever had any issues with this company at all. We were going to the location in Murfreesboro as it was the location closest to us. My main issue was ortho not general dentistry, the general dentistry side have always been kind and educational no issues there. We had been going every 6 months religiously. My daughter was growing only minor issues with her dental health here and there. She is now 11 and doesn’t have anymore baby teeth. She started her orthodontic journey about a year and a half ago. I started to notice issues within the office. Short staffed overwhelmingly long wait times. When we had other issues and I needed to contact them I would be on hold forever it felt like and at the end it would just hang up. One day I tried to call and the automated system said they were closed this was at 3 pm and they don’t even close until 5. I had to contact a different location to try and call them or to even just relay a message. Then I was never even called back. I have also waisted a lot of trips and phone calls with them due to miscommunication between one office manager to the other. I was called on 3 separate occasions to say they were sorry and would replace her ortho device because it was under warranty or even poorly made. I went today for the 3rd time and sat there waiting for over an hour then to be taken into an office and being told what the other office manager said was incorrect and that they would not be able to help me . Fast forward to talking for roughly 15-30 minutes and then they proceeded to yell at me. At that point I had had enough and decided to leave and try to find another practice that was willing to take better care of us. And as a domestic violence survivor the yelling was very triggering for me and my daughter both. It was very unprofessional and not necessary. I was shocked by the way the whole situation was handled. They most definitely lost my respect and business. I would never say anything bad about a business unless it was to formally express concern and hopefully help another family to not fall victim of their actions.

Fantastic experience: This place is really top notch! My daughter was so chill and she didn’t even mind the procedure we had done today. She was all smiles and I credit the staff and doctor 100% for that. They were amazing. 10/10 I recommend.

Fantastic experience: Nothing but awesome from all the staff there! Not only was I fully informed with what was going on, but was pleasantly surprised with how much more my insurance covered which was the biggest blessing! Special shout outs to Dr H, Ms Addison, Ms Miranda n Ms Nicole for all their help! Definitely will recommend and most assuredly an office for all others to emulate!

Fantastic experience: After a horrific experience with our previous dentist, Cumberland Pediatric Dentistry was wonderful with my boy today. All the staff had very positive vibes.

Fantastic experience: Professional and always easy to work with on appointment scheduling. Also great with kids in making them comfortable

Negative experience: On 05/13/2025 at around 4:30pm we were leaving Cumberland Orthodontics, and on the way out I needed to schedule a dental appointment for my daughter. I stopped by the checkout desk to schedule. There were 3 employees there talking to one individual. One of the 3 employees noticed me and rudely said “you can go have a seat over on the cushions”! None of the 3 employees offered to help me. I just got up and left at that point! The employee really came off as rude and condescending!

Fantastic experience: It was fantastic!! Our visit from the beginning, being welcomed by the receptionist, to the official visit with the dentists, to the checkout was great! They explained to me every detail about my daughter’s teeth. My daughters loved it! Especially the young lady at the check out counter.

Negative experience: My son is disabled and we got an appt right away, but then our appointment was cancelled and rescheduled out two weeks because they have to bill tn care first before his ppo qnd told us he would have to wait six weeks for them to deny it. Cant even pay out of pocket, its not allowed. Essentially, my son doesn't get care due to this biogotry because they won't fill out the paperwork. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS UNETHICAL BEHAVIOR!!!

Fantastic experience: Haley was the best!!! We suffer from severe anxiety and Haley made my child feel at ease as best she could. Would recommend her for any child with fear of the dentist
