Bright Star Sapphire Dental - Pediatric & General Dentistry

Fantastic experience: We've been coming here for years. Dr. Kleyman successfully performed my daughter's major dental surgery. It's been four years. We're still here, very pleased, and I recommend him to everyone in our Facebook group who's looking for a good children's dentist.

Fantastic experience: Both of my kids have had such great experiences at this office! My daughter has Severe Anxiety when it comes to the dentist.. sometimes I can’t even get her through the doors! Which led to her having a bad tooth infection where she had no choice but to go. Dr. Kleyman had been nothing short of amazing with her! He’s kind, and gentle. She ended up needing some other teeth fixed and cavities filled so because of her anxiety’s we opted for him to do everything at once at the hospital under general anesthesia. Everyone at St Joseph’s was amazing they made her feel calmer. The procedure took about an hour. She’s felt so much better since! I also have a son who has hyperactive ADHD, and ODD. He’s been seeing Dr Lee who is also nothing short of amazing! My son needed some work done that we were thankfully able to get done in office! Dr. Lee has such a kind vibe, and demeanor! My son immediately feels relaxed, and the trust is clearly there. I’m so incredibly happy we found them!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve gone here for 2+ years now. They are great for people with anxiety or who panic at the dentist. They let me put on what makes me the most calm durning even simple procedures like cleanings, and even complimented my rapping!

Fantastic experience: My five year old is on the Autism spectrum and terried of the dentsit office. However we walked into what felt like a mini Chuck E. Cheese.. providing sensory friendly free play and a safe space for him! The dental assistant soon arrived and called his name and he happily followed her into a room where she offered television as an option while we briefly waited for the dentist. Once Dr. Kerman entered, he provided my son with a gentle hug and a warm smile and before his nerves could kick in we were finished. Nothing was rushed and the entire office gave was well versed in customer service giving nothing short of respect and patience.

Negative experience: very dissatisfied after receiving at this clinic came with a small child (1 year 4 months): 1.came at a certain time according to the appointment, waited another 50 minutes 2. the doctor to whom I specifically made an appointment did not even come 3. in the office they made one treatment plan, then at the front desk they said a completely different one 4. all the information that they ask to fill out in the online form before the appointment is still asked again at the clinic (just why do I waste time and fill it out before that) 5. they prescribed an antibiotic for the child at our pharmacy, we came to pick it up, the pharmacy told us that there was no medicine, as it turned out they did not order the medicine for us (ANTIBIOTIC), probably they forgot, I don't know for sure this is just the main thing, there were other nuances therefore I DO NOT RECOMMEND this clinic for parents with children

Negative experience: The worst dental office for kids. The manager, Nia Hadzovic, is the worst manager I have ever met. My daughter previously got a fill done at a different dental office which was covered by insurance. When we came here they did the fill again even though it was already done and nothing was wrong with it and then they proceeded to tell me that it was not covered by insurance after the procedure since it was the second time getting a fill on the same tooth. They didn’t notify me before that I had to make any payments. They said that I have to make the payment in order to be able to move onto my next appointment. The worst dental office I have ever been

Fantastic experience: Wonderful dental office! Just came back from a visit with my child who has autism. I’ve had other offices not have the patience to deal with my child throughout the years. First visit literally brought me to tears as they took their time and weren’t discouraged about my child’s sensory issues. Eman the dental hygienist is a gem! Thank you again Eman and Dr. Kleyman, as well as the other staff you guys are great!

Negative experience: Worst experience ever at this location, make sure you come at your appointment time, they would cancel your appointment 5 minutes after. Also if you do come on time to your appointment be ready to wait more then 30 minutes to be called. Front desk staff need to lower attitude. They are dealing with customer if they are not ready to provide customer service it time for them to get another job as a resolve of this bad experience im ready to look for another Dentist to my kids.

Positive experience: A few months ago, my son received a panoramic X-ray at your office. At the time, we were not informed that this type of X-ray has limited diagnostic value for certain dental issues, such as evaluating the roots. Unfortunately, now that he needs treatment, we’ve been told that another X-ray is required. As a parent, I’m concerned that the initial purpose of the panoramic X-ray wasn’t clearly explained to us, especially if it wouldn’t be sufficient for future treatment planning. Having to repeat imaging raises concerns for me regarding unnecessary radiation exposure. I would appreciate a better understanding of the rationale behind the imaging choices and how similar situations might be handled moving forward.

Fantastic experience: I took my son today. Our doctor really took great care of us. I won't take my child to any dentist other than here.

Negative experience: I highly do not recommend. One of the worst dental offices I’ve taken my daughter to. Every visit we have to wait 40-45 minutes in the room before dentist, Stephanie walks in. I’ve complained multiple times and all they say is sorry, they are busy or under staff. It’s ridiculous how long you have to wait and how unprofessional they are. It seems like they over book or they just don’t care enough about their patients. I will definitely be looking for another dental office for my daughter.

Fantastic experience: Thank you Dr. K and his wonderful assistant they did an amazing job dealing with my 8 yo son's cavity. Today was the first time he ever got convinced to have the laughing gas on and got a needle in his mouth I'm relieved he didn't get to go to a hospital under overall anesthesia. Once again, I can't reccomend this place enough!

Negative experience: The dental office is a good place, but I feel that they need to teach their medical assistance on how to work with disabled and autistic kids. I had a bad experience today and I didn’t appreciate it and when I tried to discuss it to the office manager, it looked like she didn’t believe me, while the medical assistant was laughing in my face the whole time while I was there, I don’t appreciate that my son is autistic and I expect that when I go to a place that they know how to handle him with care and not getting upset overall, the place is good. Most of the workers are good there haven’t had a problem till today

Fantastic experience: Dr. Boris Kleyman and Dr. Stefanie are two of the best dentists at this office. Both of my boys had a great experience with Dr. Stefanie. They were also extra gentle and careful around her because she was expecting a baby. We hope to see her again soon after her maternity leave! My oldest had a very bad experience at another dental office when he was 5 years old, but here they are 100% understanding and mindful of children with special needs. As of now haven't had a bad experience with the receptionists.

Negative experience: Nobody answered the phone at all. They put me on hold for almost 15 mins! UPDATE - the customer service named Amelia just called me and asked why I left 1-star review. This was SO UNPROFESSIONAL. What kinda company would look up a customer information in their system based on online review and question the customer on a call??? I’ve been having a good experience with the doctor and nurses. However, the customer service here really sucks, which won’t make me come back ever again. Respond to feedback below - As customers, I have the right to leave the review. You don’t judge your customers what they should do and should not. Short staffing isn’t my problem at all (so ridiculous you think it's ok for customer to wait more than 15 mins because of this). Also, if the person named Amelia had genuinely apologized at first, I wouldn’t have left any review given the good experience I had with doctor and nurses even though she still shouldn't have called me directly to talk about the review. unfortunately, she just doesn’t know how to be a professional.

Fantastic experience: They’re amazing! My son has autism (9 yrs old). He’s recently become more verbal, but he usually freaks out around new people and struggles expressing himself. I’m always nervous taking him to doctors/dentists because he’s sensitive to touch and panics. The staff at this office were so kind and compassionate. They knew how to instruct and communicate with my son. They asked him before they did anything, they were able to do the teeth x-rays. The dentist was amazing and really worked with us and around my son’s needs. We left happy and I left relieved that it all went so smoothly!

Negative experience: Done with this place. They literally hire the absolute WORST front desk and managerial staff. The shocking rudeness and complete and utter incompetence is ridiculous. The receptionists are horrible and don't do their jobs. They give each other looks about you in front of your face and have attitudes. The manager is incredibly fake and also very nasty. Not just in my experience, but they were also very nasty to my family and friend when I wasn't there on several occasions. She also doesn't know how to bill or tried to purposely charge more money, to the point that I had to get my insurance involved. They also have a ridiculous 72 hour cancellation policy and a large cancellation fee. Who is going to know 72 hours in advance if they get sick or something happens? I've lived all over and I have never come across a policy like this. We are all now looking to switch to other dentists with better staff and less strict policies. Enough is enough.

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been coming here since she was two. She had a dental emergency on Christmas Day, the dentist on call was super responsive and called in an antibiotic for her right away. Dr. Regina fit her in the next day and was so compassionate and kind during the process of my daughter’s tooth extraction. I am so thankful to the doctors and staff. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: I will give 0 start to this place specifically to the female manager. She is a discriminated person. They overbook pts and if you are late they go crazy but you do have to wait for them when you are on time. They don't even let you be 4 minutes late. Office manager Angie was very nasty and rude, I would say she had some type of bias because of her facial expression and the way she expressed herself when she was talking with me.

Positive experience: Doctors and most staff are great, but the woman at the front desk was rude to me in front of my daughter after we were told we can come a half hour later since I just got out of work. She’s the only person there I’ve seen with an attitude.

Fantastic experience: The BEST THE BEAT THE BESTT … not to be genderist lol I know that’s not a word but THOSE LADIES ARE TOP TIER PROFESSIONAL !!! in and out no games and very serious about their work. It’s not oh I like this dentist they all care from the receptionist to the hygienist the x ray tech the dentist. My children love it there my daughter is 6 and she just gives the thumbs up literally the whole session in the care so gentle to my 8 yr old son who had some cavities and they took extra care of them and was adamant about the parents well being on staying on top of the care. Also I my son was transferring from another dentist everything that needed to be done was executed within maybe 2-3 visits that would have took probably months to be done at the other one. They’re very stick about time management so make sure your on time the receptionist don’t play lol but not really only because they want you in and out. My doctor recommended this place and it has been a breeze. For the parents that are skeptical ITS OK THEY WONT HURT YOUR BABIES.

It a great environment for children with ASD, ADHD, anxiety etc. Great staff. I'm definitely staying with them. Thank you so much for the care!!

Negative experience: We have been coming here for several years now, the front desk stuff is far from friendly, but the doctors are good. My daughter has braces so we come every 2 months, the average wait time is at least 30-40min. Today I called asking how far behind the doctor so instead of waiting in their waiting room I can complete some work at home as we are literally 5 min away. The manager on the phone was rude to say the least and zero percent accommodating, she said if we come later than 5min of our scheduled time our appointment will be cancelled regardless if we have to wait or not. I understand the rule but there are ways to communicate and to also be flexible at times, or at least be nice about explaining it. If you are quick to take my $4500 have a courtesy of extending a decent customer service.

Fantastic experience: I love this bright star sapphire dental, my daughter was on great pain and I called them up and they gave me an appointment right the way and when we came in they took care of my daughter Yusra in amazing way which made her very comfortable and when Dr. Kleyman came and talk to my daughter he made her relax and calm because before she had bad experience with different doctor and I told Dr. Kleyman about it so he was really great and professional then he treated her very quick and she loved it without any pain. The doctors are gentle with children & I am impressed that my daughter lets them do their job without feeling scared or nervous or wanting to run away lol. Fantastic experience: My son has had a situation with his teeth for 2 years. I went to 6 different dentist in 2 differnet states with 4 of those referrals being in NJ. My son’s teeth was in a really bad state. His teeth were rotting and turning black despite brushing twice a day and flossing. He kept getting abscesses and it scared me so bad. I was literally in tears when I got through to this amazing dentist office!! The staff was very amazing from the receptionist to the amazing woman who scheduled his surgery. Dr. Kleyman is literally my and my son’s hero!! Crowns, caps, extractions, you name it!! He did what he had to do for my baby!! He did an amazing job!! I can’t remember the last time I saw my son smile so hard with such confidence. Keep in mind he is 6 years old. As a mom who has a brain disease where I’m not suppose to stress this really took a huge weight off my shoulders!! Thank you Dr. Kleyman and all the staff at Bright Star Sapphire Dental!! You guys are all truly amazing!!

Fantastic experience: Dr Regina was so amazing with my nervous daughter. She was patient, attentive, and showed and let her touch every instrument before she used it so she was part of the process and knew exactly what was going on. It’s so refreshing to come across professionals that actually care about their patients. Can’t thank Dr Regina enough!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Klyman was so nice with my daughter. She had her tooth removed and I was so nervous about it but he did an awesome job so quick and my daughter didn't cry at all.
