Fantastic experience: I am a patient at little stars dentistry of Miami shores they treat their patients so good great attention highly recommend to visit them

Negative experience: Consistently behind schedule. Show up late for your appointment on purpose so you don't have to wait 45 minutes to get in. I've waited over an hour with a three year old previously (they said they 'forgot about us' while we waited in the waiting roon) and now, today, they made my other 3 year old wait 45 minutes to get to get in for his 2nd dentist visit of his life. We showed up on time for our appointment and my 3 year old was excited to see the dentist, but after waiting 45 minutes, was obviously less enthusiastic and less willing to cooperate. The assistant half brushed his teeth with a toothbrush and flouride solution and that was the entire cleaning... There's one doctor in the entire building and she's pregnant; she doesn't want to be in the room with the x-ray, so if you need that done too, you'll wait even longer with your child for her to leave the room, get the x-ray done and then have to wait again to see the dentist... How long does Little Stars Dentistry of Miami Shores think it's acceptable for a 3 year old to wait for their appointment? This entire appointment would've taken more than 2 hours, maybe more, with the vast majority of the time just waiting around... this was a cleaning appointment for a 3 year old. Little Stars has lost 2 clients because of this. I'm going to try another dentist, maybe they will actually respect our time and understand the dynamics of children/toddlers going to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: Great experience for our kids’ cleanings. We’ve been coming for a few years and the staff and hygienists are always wonderful with kids and the dentist is amazing at making them feel comfortable and proud of their work to keep their teeth in good shape.

Negative experience: We have visited this clinic a few times for our children. The front office, however, is quite problematic. The person who claims to be the manager says that, due to policy, they cannot schedule an appointment. Their manner is quite rude. For the first time, I heard that because we canceled a previous appointment late, we would have to pay a late cancellation fee. When I said I did not find this reasonable, she seemed offended. What kind of place is this? Is it truly a clinic treating patients, or this lady’s private house? Please note that the front office does not schedule appointments properly. They call you the day before to try to fill empty slots. If your schedule gets tight and you cannot come, they charge you a cancellation fee of $50, $75, or even $100 depending on the time. Keep these points in mind before contacting this place.

Negative experience: I would never recommend this dental office to anyone, especially families with children. During an appointment, the primary dentist referred to my child as “retarded” while speaking to me in front of them. That is not only deeply offensive and unprofessional, but also damaging and unacceptable from someone in a position of care. When I decided not to return after this incident, the office staff began scheduling fake appointments in my name. When they called to confirm, I explained that I no longer go there due to what happened, yet they still tried to charge me for “missed appointments” that I never made. This office has shown me they care more about fees and billing than about patients or basic respect. If you value professionalism, compassion, and integrity, look elsewhere.

Negative experience: Office called day before appointment and left me the only one voicemessage the evening before. I called the very next morning asking to cancel and I was told that I still will be charged for “No show fee”. Keep in mind appointment was scheduled 6 months upfront, no other calls or tax messages. During the conversation about this Debt on my kids account I was reminded 4 times to pay it when I come into the office again. No effort to help the client. Really upset, mentioned I will leave the review here and “I was told proceed as you wish”. Beware of their customer service. One star customer service Dentistry.

Negative experience: Usually I love the office but I’m in need of records for my 3 year old son to get into school I need the paper for this week or he will loose his place possibly I have been calling the office since last week with no answer even drove there and I don’t stay close and no one was there on two different occasions…. On the recorder they left a phone number for emergencies only I decided to just call that number, I did some picked up and I explained to them my issue, she stated the office is on vacation, so u me a to tell me the whole entire office took vacation at the same time and didn’t leave a back up for their clients??? I have never heard of that before, that’s a problem there should always be a back up plan, then she told me I would have to wait until next week to get what I need, ma’am by then he will be booted out of the program!!

Negative experience: Only upset because they said “they couldn’t stop everything to verified my daughter’s insurance” what kind of excuse is that. I had to pay out of pocket for her visit when they didn't even inform me of the price of the visit before i went inside. Lady in the front was super rude about it. Having worked for insurance before i know it takes less than 10 minutes to verify it. Hopefully they have enough time to do it for my next visit.

Negative experience: Unfortunately my experience with this practice has not been good the receptionist is not helpful and extremely rude she makes no effort in helping you schedule; they do not provide quality service for children, my daughter was uncomfortable during the dental treatment and as we spoke up she was just spoken to in a rude manner she’s only 8; we will not be returning. If you care for the dental health of your child this is not the facility to bring them.
