Fantastic experience: They were awesome got my twin grandchildren in so quickly. The office was clean they were quick and efficient. They were very understanding with my autistic grandson. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: I wish I could give 0 stars. In the past, I’ve always had good experiences with this office, but this time was a nightmare. My daughter is autistic and has a lot of sensory issues. The hygienist was not patient or helpful and actually told another hygienist how she didn’t have “time” To deal with this as she Had other stuff left to do. And yes, this is right in front of me and my two children, and this did cause extra stress to the situation. I felt like nobody tried having patience and empathy with my daughter, and no one will talk to me through processes. They just told me that my daughter would need to go and be sedated because they can’t work with her.. She wasn’t throwing tantrums hitting kicking or anything. She was just scared.

Negative experience: I actually really liked the location and staff. Front desk was awesome, BUT the dentist did not have enough respect for me and my son when we told them we will not be doing anything with fluoride. He shoved a toothbrush with fluoride toothpaste in my sons mouth. He didn't forget, because he said it after he put it in his mouth after the assistant just told him too. He also asked if my son was autistic because he was non verbal. And that if I get him checked out go back and let him know. First off my son was fussy from the long wait and yes he is non verbal due to a trama. If I pissed him off for requesting no fluoride, he shouldn't be in business. My kid is 4, with no cavities and never used fluoride until he goes to the dentist who doesn't respect our requests. He wasn't very child friendly either.

Negative experience: I took my 14 year old Nephew to an appointment at Children's Dental Clinic today. Our Appointment was at 3pm. We showed up early so we could fill out any new forms because it had been awhile since he went to the Dentist. The Pro's are the fact that they saw us earlier than our scheduled appoint. Let me preface with the fact that I am disabled and I have a Service Dog. Legally no business in New Mexico can refuse you service if you have a Service Dog. She is a Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix. She is trained to be quite. I wasn't planning on going to the room that his cleaning and service would be done. I was planning to stay in the lobby area. I don't usually take my service dog to appointments but I thought since I would be staying in the lobby area it shouldn't have been an issue. As time went on the Dental Hygienist came to the lobby to inform me of an update the Dentist requested to do on my nephew. I asked if I could go back to the room where he was at and she said yes. Now my service dog is almost always quite unless she's interacting with children. Being that this was a Children's Dental clinic there are mostly all children. If my service dog is provoked she will bark. She starting barking and I picked her up to calm her down. Suddenly a person from the receptionist area came to me and rudely told me that dogs were not allowed. She never asked if she was a service dog. Understanding how the ladder works she might have been delivering a message her management team. I was very offended and took my service dog outside while my 14 year old nephew was all alone in the dental area. This Dental clinics caters mostly to families with children on Medicaid so I was shocked to see the set up on the dental clinic. It was set up like a dental factory. Not much privacy for the clients while they are getting their procedures done. I rated this clinic 1 star mainly due to the fact that they are not disabled friendly. Be aware and if you have a service dog do not go to this place.

Negative experience: Out of 15 years that I've been with them and 4 yrs having a appointment for both my daughter's at the same time this Friday the 14 was the wost appointment experience I've had bother my daughter's were supposed to be seen at same like I thought as usual so they both get brats and the assistant that took them back was rude from the beginning her name was Naomi so than my lil daughter's done and im seening her get someone else and my other daughter and I were jus sitting there so then she get someone else and I see here pick up my daughter s paper work n starts playing with my daughter's paper like 5 time and let me mind you long story short while Naomi being rude and passing my daughter's paper around im sure she could have jus done my other daughter about 4 mins till 2 another assistant ended up doing her cleaning and nothing got done but rude apologies I do thank check out lady and the one that finally did my daughter's cleaning as for the Naomi and the other lady I didnt get her name but she has been there for a long time I didn't appreciate the way were going about the situation.

Positive experience: Front desk is too hot, wait is almost 40 minutes, I understand doctor might be the only one on deck and assistants are doing their best, management should be a bit more considerate of time management for not only for the patients but the doctors themselves. The overcrowding and understaffing is not fair. Maybe investing in a fan or two for the front while is scorching hot in the waiting room would be a bit less chaotic.

Positive experience: We love childrens dental. The Dr's, nurses and all the staff. Every visit we are greeted with a smile and everyone is so nice and does their best to make our visit stress free. The Dr's and nurses are very understanding and consiterat when it comes to treating my daughter. My daughter has special needs, they are always very patient and accommodating. Always a good visit

They presented me my options as the guardian. (Felt seen ad respected as the guardian) My four year old went home and told my older son "I went to da doctor and I wasn't ewen scared" Big thank you.

Fantastic experience: My Granddaughter..4 years old tooth was hurting because she had a cavity... they give her an appointment for the next day, and we get to the clinic and like it so much because everyone are so professional and nice to us...The Dr. super good person.. always trying to really help My baby he make time to put a cover to the tooth..she never hurt any more ever since he treated her...we like him so much. I recommend it %

Fantastic experience: I have been taking my kids to Children's Dental clinic since they were 6 months old. I now have a senior and 8th grader. When they opened the orthodontics side we were excited! My son had his braces work there and now my daughter has hers. We travel 2 hours to Children’s Dental Clinic and it’s so worth it. We love the friendly staff and professionalism. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: I’ve come here ever since I was little and always had an okay experience (it’s going to the dentist, how good can it be?) but today was my first time going alone since I turned 18. They didn’t treat me like an adult, they didn’t ask me if they could put on fluoride at the end, which they always asked my parents when I came with them. They just did it instead. Then my hygienist just handed me a card and said this is your next appointment. Did not check with me when I’m available, just scheduled it. So I went to the front desk and told them to cancel it, they said since I won’t be 19 yet I still have one more appointment with them. The whole thing just felt disrespectful and as if I’m not allowed to make my own decisions even though I’m an adult. I did get them to cancel it but the whole thing was just disrespectful.

Positive experience: Bed side manner was lacking it’s like every time it’s a hit and a miss. The doctor was thorough and informational just her assistant was rude. Just because this is your profession and it’s consistent and maybe your having a bad day try not to give disrespectful looks and attitudes. That kill em with kindness mean attitude is so so high school worker this lady was 35 at least. Very disgusting. Especially if she is working with kids.

Fantastic experience: Just switched Dentist offices to here. Took all 3 of my kiddos here for their regular teeth cleaning and they all enjoyed their visit. The Dental Hygienist and Dentist, Dr. Galvez were both great with my kiddos and made them feel very comfortable.

Positive experience: My daughter had an appliance installed in her palette. Overall it was a good visit, it just hurt a little. The dentist was funny.

Fantastic experience: The dental assistant helped my daughter feel comfortable by showing her everything that was going to be done before it was done. She was super nervous about getting her braces and he was silly and fun which helped her relax. Thank you!

Negative experience: This dental clinic is usually pretty fast. There were slow. Had an appt. Got there at 330 pm and didn’t get seen til 438pm. Sat the whole time in a chair waiting for them to get to my son No they weren’t busy when we walked in no one in waiting area 1 person in back. No reminder calls this office has gone down hill

Fantastic experience: Fast and friendly every time! They’re very patient and kind to everyone that walks through there and always answer all of my child’s questions. They even offer appointments on Saturday which is awesome because I don’t have to miss work or pull my children out of school.

Fantastic experience: Ive been bringing my grandkids to this dentist for years and our last visit was on thursday running late 30 minutes due to road construction but they were still willing to take my 2 grandkids and willing to stay late due to extracting 2 teeth which wasnt planned needless to say this dentist and staff is amazing friendly and answers questions without making things complicated i give them all 5 stars and recommend them to everyone! Wish they took adult too not just children

Positive experience: It's always friendly, but the last few times I have taken my kids their I get a ton of reminders. And if I don't respond to one of them I get a threatening sounding text message that says I'm gonna loose my spot . Then when I arrive 15 minutes earlier to the appointments, the waiting room is filled with people and I still end up waiting like 45 minutes just for 1 of the appointments. But I have two kids so it turns into like a 2+ hour visit.

Fantastic experience: I made this appointment very last minute and they were able to get me in in a timely manner within a week from calling!! Super friendly staff and very accommodating with children!!! My daughter’s first visit was amazing and they were so patient and friendly with her!!! 10/10

Positive experience: The customer service is good BUT getting appointments in a timely manner is beyond ridiculous. They are seeing kids every 10-11 weeks for appointments because they are so over booked and only there 3 days a week. Kids are supposed to have monthly appointments or no longer than 6 week intervals. That means these kids are wearing these braces way longer than they should have to. That needs to be corrected immediately.

Negative experience: The orthodontics has given me misinformation and the runaround. They don’t want insurance to cover the costs, they score real low so you have no choice but to pay out of pocket. Why score a different amount each time??? I luckily went elsewhere and was able to get the help I needed. Not all places are a money grab. Don’t be fooled. Insurance should absolutely cover the costs.

Negative experience: I am disappointed with this office and the way they mishandled my son's treatment. Right after his appointment, I called to ask questions for the dentist who performed the treatment since l was working during his procedure and l never heard a response. As a mother, I was concerned and had questions about my son. I was told the dentist would contact me, however nobody returned my call. The following day l called back as a concerned parent to find out answers for my son and asked to speak to the dentist or office manager. Again, no one ever called me back, therefore l will not return to this office due to their poor practices and carelessness for their patients. I highly do not recommend this place for any of your children.

Positive experience: Staff here are great and I'm glad my children get their dental care here. BUT the constant text messaging about rating your office and leaving a review is a little much...take it down a notch, please.

Negative experience: Was overcharged over year and a half ago and I’ve called numerous times, been told I would receive a call, have been waiting, called back, talked with another manager, waited, and still waiting for somebody to call me back. I’ve talked with several different people identified as management, but still have not resolved this overcharge that has locked up my flexible spending card, which has not allowed us to use it. Still waiting for a call!!!

Negative experience: Won’t be coming back here! Came in for a case of herpetic gingivostomatitis(swollen gums) and the dentist still decided it was fine to brush her teeth and aggravate her condition. He couldn’t prescribe any medication and pretty much did nothing to help us so it was pointless visit and told us we had to be seen by the pediatrician. He also recommended to continue brushing and the pediatrician told us NOT to in order not to aggravate her gums anymore, so I’m not sure why he would tell us to keep brushing. DONT always believe these “doctors” because they are not right about everything. I only gave two stars because wait time and receptionists were friendly and patient.

Fantastic experience: The staff were nice and friendly and we were in and out of our appointment fast. The Dr was very friendly and we are happy our son is cavity free!

Negative experience: They cancel appointments at the last minute. They tell you an appt time on the phone and once you arrive it’s a different time. Their confirmation/cancelling policies are strict for their patients but they don’t practice what they preach. And to top it off, front office staff is rude and isn’t empathetic.

Positive experience: My kids have been patients here for years. My son actually just had his last cleaning a few months ago because he aged out, but my daughter is still a patient. Everyone from the dentists to the hygienists to the front staff have always been super pleasant and professional. My only reason for not giving five stars is because it's rather difficult to reach someone in their billing department when I have a question, which is a bummer, but other than that we've never had any issues.

Fantastic experience: I had my braces done here when I was in high school and now my daughter goes to the same place. They've always done a good job. Great to stick to the same place all these years.

Negative experience: I just got off the phone with this rude lady she wasn't even on the one that scheduled me. I scheduled for Monday at 8:45 a.m. and she wanted to interfere with my daughters dermatologist appointment on Monday at 11:00 a.m. She was very rude I'm so happy I'm not taking my daughter to this dentist. If that's how they train their employees and they should not be working around children. VERY RUDE!

Fantastic experience: Started my girls with Children’s Dental since they were a year. Absolutely love it here. They go every 6 months and I like that for all those years they had early appointment times and for all 3. My middle & youngest had braces with the ortho side, The orthodontist, Letty & the rest of the staff are amazing! Sadly oldest has aged out. Definitely recommend!!

Fantastic experience: I take 3 of my kids there. Always greeted by everyone. Very positive environment! Great communication from Dentist/assistants. Kids love watching movies above head while getting work done. In/out times are faster than expected 90% of the time for us. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Good place to take my kids they feel happy to go because they don't have to wait long to be attended, they do miss the decorated wall in the waiting area, and it would be nice of there was a little play area, it would be a little more kid attractive.

Fantastic experience: I have been using this clinic for the past 3 years and I’m absolutely thrilled with the services my daughters receive. And when I tell you that getting my children to go to a dentist office has been a nightmare, I do mean that. I tried multiple offices over a span of 6 years and I had the worst time finding an office that would treat my children and they not have anxiety. My children have had extensive work done in their mouths with this clinic and I wouldn’t want another clinic to do the work. I am so happy with them from the front desk all the way to the surgery teams. Now I get to start my journey with the other side of the clinic for orthodontics and so far, I’m still pleased with them. I recommend this clinic to everyone who asks me for a children’s dental clinic.

Fantastic experience: Andrea, the hygienist who worked with my son was great! She was friendly, efficient, helpful in getting the next appointment scheduled, and did a great job removing the wires from my son's braces so she could clean his teeth. We've been coming there for years, but this was an especially good experience. I hope we have Andrea again the next time we come in!
