Fantastic experience: We love Oak Mountain Pediatric Dentistry! The staff there is absolutely amazing, from speaking on the phone to the front desk, to everyone you come in contact within the office. Every person in that office shows that they love what they do and where they work! They are all so kind and helpful and my son does not like the dentist and screamed most of the time the dental hygienist cleaned his teeth, her name was Kelly and she was an absolute doll, she never let is show that he was being difficult, she did her job and was so gentle and kind to my child! Dr. Walker is the sweetest and most kind person, she talked to my son and got his mind off of everything and he let her do what she needed to do, I told her she was magic! When we were leaving everyone spoke to us as we left and played with my son when he got his prize! I just cannot say enough about how amazing this practice is!

The staff is always so friendly, patient, and interactive with our littles. Our wait time has always been minimal and the interactions have been nothing short of positive.

Fantastic experience: The whole experience is the best for the kids and the parents. I had to take both my 8 and 6 year old in for filling and I was a bit nervous. It was my sons first filling and they were doing them at the same time, I didn’t know how I would be in both places. But the staff took great care and kept me right where I needed to be. It was a wonderful experience and we will definitely use them in all future dental needs for my kids.

One of my boys has always had dental anxiety and never had great experiences at other offices. Yesterday, he not only was able to have his cleaning done with no crying, but he was SO HAPPY to be in the chair. From front desk, to hygiene, to Dr. flannery, they all exceeded my expectations. We have finally found our right match!

The entire staff is so kind, welcoming, and patient, which made my children feel completely at ease. We have seen different dentist at the office and each of them have took the time to explain everything clearly and was incredibly gentle during the visit. The office is clean, bright, and very kid-friendly with little touches that help children feel comfortable. We drive almost 3 hours to this office twice a year. I’m so grateful we found this office 6 years ago and would highly recommend them to any parent looking for a wonderful pediatric dentist.

Fantastic experience: We’ve had wonderful experiences so far! We were actually referred here by another practice when my 7 year old needed an extraction. Dr. Claire was extremely compassionate and patient with my very nervous daughter. She even wrote the “toothfairy” a note on my daughter’s behalf sharing how brave she had been. The care given to my daughter by Dr. Claire and the entire staff then prompted me to also bring my one year old here who has Down’s Syndrome and her very first appointment also went well!

This is a fantastic group. It doesn’t matter which nurse we get it doesn’t matter which of the two dentists we get! My son leaves happy and I leave happy! I’ll say again this is a great group. I would recommend to anyone!

The front desk lady was so sweet, Ms. Emily was quite possibly the best hygienist I’ve ever encountered, & Dr. Claire was super sweet. My son has never behaved so well at the dentist before & it’s all because they are so good with kids & explain what they’re going to do. I’m so glad I found this place!

Fantastic experience: 10/10 would recommend to anybody with kids. Especially kids that are terrified of the dentist. My daughter would cry if we ever even mentioned the dentist during to a horrible experience we had at a different dentist. To start when making the appointment they made it a point to ask some different things my daughter liked. From the time we walked in they were complimenting my daughter and calling her by name. They even incorporated her love for Taylor Swift and had her music playing in the exam room It was the absolute best experience ever and I could literally cry happy tears.

Fantastic experience: I took my 2 year old for her first dental visit at Oak Mountain Pediatric Dentistry, and can I just say - wow!!! This was the absolute best experience from start to finish. The receptionist I spoke to on the phone was so helpful and kind, the staff at the front desk made such a huge deal about my daughter and it being her first time at the dentist. She brought her comfort item (a stuffed puppy) along, and the dental hygienist brushed his teeth first to help her feel comfortable. Dr. Walker was so gentle and warm. My daughter was so at ease the whole visit and had the best time. She got a prize and stickers and talked about going to the dentist for the rest do the day. I can’t recommend this office enough!

Fantastic experience: I was so impressed with Dr. Claire and her staff! She did an amazing job with my 4 year old son who needed to get crowns under sedation. We were all nervous for the procedure, but the moment we walked in, everyone was so entertaining and child-friendly that my son was jumping around dancing in the waiting room. Dr. Claire worked clearly and efficiently. I was appreciative of her bedside manner. She took plenty of time explaining to us what all she did and answered all questions we had. The procedure was so quick. My son is already asking when he can go back to the dentist. I originally was looking for a second opinion on his teeth but all of my friends and online reviews convinced me I had already gotten the best pediatric dentist in town and they were correct!

Fantastic experience: All 4 of my children are patients and each love the staff and have had great experiences to the best of care a dental office can offer children, some of which have dentist fears. We had one day where a dental assistant was somewhat rude to my daughter but I spoke with Dr. Flannery who handled it very well which reminded me that everyone deserves grace when they’ve made a mistake. It didn’t deter us at all. We appreciated the decorum and understanding and we all moved on and have no complaints since that small thing. I really have to rave about the front desk staff for a second, their customer service is top tier, always welcoming, friendly and happy to be there and it really makes coming even better when you’re being greeted so well every time! This is just a wonderful practice.

Fantastic experience: 10 stars if I could! If you are having a child or have children... CHOOSE THIS DENTIST! I drive about 30 mins from irondale all the way down 280 and if I had to drive an hour -it would still be worth it. The dentists here, and every member of their staff are the nicest people you will talk to all day. Scheduling is effortless, they even txt you appt. reminders and pre fill forms online .Theey have TV's on the ceiling, my daughter is thrilled about that! Their office is beautiful, very calm and inviting. This place has got to be rated at the top..y'all I get excited to go to this place just because I leave feeling good! The energy is what every dentist/doctor's office should go for! They also do a great job! Cleanings, crowns,fillings...they are phenomenal and explain thoroughly in a way that is clear and understandable.

They worked us in, in a timely manner and they were so kind! We saw Dr. Claire and she was fantastic with my child who wasn't quite sure about what was going on. Each person in the office greeted my daughter by name, praised her, complimented her and honestly gave her princess treatment! We will never go anywhere else.

I called for an appointment Monday morning and despite his schedule being fully booked, she was worked in and the procedure she needed was also performed the same day. He even called after hours to check on her. Every interaction I have had at this office has been excellent.
