Great Falls Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics

Negative experience: I’m a three strikes you’re out kind of person. Our first appointment was with dr Nate, it was my daughter’s one year and her first appointment. Bedside manner wasn’t there, he was really aggressive, didn’t let her warm up. Just didn’t sit well with me. We tried dr Alexa after that. First appointment was ok. But I’ve now been rushed out of my last two appointments, with my concerns not listened to or met. Just brushed off. Almost shut up in a way. We won’t be returning after learning a lot of people have had this similar experience. I’m sure they are the right fit for others, but not for us.

Fantastic experience: Dr.Nate and his assistant Kim are amazing, they have gotten us right in an checked out.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Nate and his team are so awesome with the kids. They are patient, kind, and understanding with each child and their specific needs. I am so glad this is the place I decided to take my children. You won't be disappointed! The whole office is kid friendly with decorations, tablets in the waiting room, movies on the ceiling, and big enough rooms for the whole family to sit.

Negative experience: Would not recommend at all. . This dentist office made me feel very pressured and bullied on care the recommended. Won’t take my child back .

Fantastic experience: I saw Kim and Dr. Nate this time around. The experience is always enjoyable regardless of what you’re getting some, the people are always so kind and helpful and the atmosphere is great!

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend this facility enough! My kids have gone here for years and we won’t go anywhere else. Today my son (who has very bad anxiety when it comes to doctors) had an appointment and it was the best experience we’ve ever had. The dental assistant was patient, caring, understanding and all around amazing. She explained everything in detail to my son to help him calm down and prepare for what was happening. Whatever she makes is not enough, she deserves the world! Thank you Kim for an amazing experience & being so helpful with G. ❤️

Fantastic experience: My son who has DMDD is usually combative when it comes to seeing the dentists and having dental work done. We recently changed dentists to great falls pediatric dentistry and he was so well behavior and didnt fight when it came time to getting crowns and fillings. Payton and doctor Alexa were fantastic with my son. I’m so glad I made the switch. They are fantastic!!!

Fantastic experience: We had the most amazing experience here! We took our baby to see Dr. Nate for a tongue tie and he was fantastic. He was personable, friendly, and honest. He was so good with our daughter and made the experience better than I could have imagined. As someone who has hated going to the dentist since I was a child, I am excited to have found a place that I know will make my daughter love going to the dentist. The staff is friendly, we didn’t have to sit and wait forever, and the whole experience could not have been better. I highly recommend this place and Dr. Nate!

Negative experience: Extremely hard to deal with billing department and lack of acknowledgement and understanding that MT Medicaid is understaffed, uncooperative and has errors in their system. Refusal to back bill a claim they waited a year to submit to correct insurance and then would rather send clients to collections than get paid is a drastic and unprofessional response.

Fantastic experience: Today came in for my son seen nurse Kim and doctor Nate Kim was very nice and kind and love doctor Nate my son would not let anyone in his mouth but doctor Nate if it was not for these two amazing kind ppl I would be be so lost I want to thank them so much for everything and be so kind and friendly

Fantastic experience: 10/10 recommend!! This place and it's staff are nothing short of amazing. We were in a very tricky situation of my daughter needing oral surgery, we were losing our insurance in a week and it was the Friday before Christmas when we found out. The Great Falls Pediatric Dentistry welcomed us in on a Saturday - when they are usually closed! - and showed us kindness, compassion, understanding and high-quality service and care for my little girl. Dr. Rencher was incredible - from giving my daughter a poke without her even knowing (!!) to saying he would've come in to the office on Christmas morning, if that's what we needed to get our girl the help she needed before we lost our coverage. His team of employees exuded the same kindness and care. 5 stars through and through. While I hope my kiddos don't require any more oral surgeries, we will definitely be returning here if they do.

Fantastic experience: We have been going to Dr Rancher and the staff @ pediatric dentistry for years. He has taken care of my twins from birth til 18. We used to drive to Helena just to see him because that’s how amazing this Office is. Today Dr Rancher came down to Great Falls to open on a Saturday. Just so my son could get his teeth fixed. We needed service quickly and they provided! Thank you, staff and Dr. rancher at pediatric dentistry! You guys have been amazing to us , and our community!

Fantastic experience: Dr Kevin and Dr Nate are wonderful always have gotten my child in no matter what. They even opened their office up the Saturday before Christmas to get kids in. They really care about the kids and walking the parents through any and all questions.

Fantastic experience: They opened up the Saturday before Christmas to get kids in instead of making them wait. Dr. Kevin was very thorough and went over everything before the procedure. He switched the delivery of medicine to accommodate our child and answered any and all of our questions.

Fantastic experience: My daughter was first really afraid to get her cavity corrected after being in the hospital for two+ months this year. Dr. Nate and assistant Kim worked their magic in getting her through the process. When we left she wasn’t afraid or traumatized. They did a great job.

Fantastic experience: My son’s last visit was really good. Better than the last visit. Both the assistant and my son were having a bad day and they got into a little fight. This time it is much better other than the assistant brought up the last appointment ordeal and blamed it all on him. This place is still a really good place to bring your family as I haven’t had any other problems with any other staff. So, this is why I’m still giving them 5 stars because people do have bad days and can change.

Fantastic experience: Dr Stevenson and his assistant Stormy were amazing! My daughter broke her tooth over the weekend. They had us in and out ON A SUNDAY!! Such kindness and compassion! They made a scary situation into such a positive experience for my baby. Thank you so much! Highly recommend for any and all your children’s dental needs!!

Positive experience: The care is excellent and the staff friendly. However when the bill comes due we are always charged more, as much as 300% more out of pocket than is estimated which makes me feel as though we are being fleeced. We work hard to provided good care for our children and stay current on what is owed, but the numbers say either the establishments lacks accuracy in terms of estimating cost of care, or is inflating the cost if they perceive you’re good for it.

Fantastic experience: Thank you Dr. Nate! We needed emergent care for my daughter’s broken FRONT tooth, Dr. Nate took her in after hours and fixed her up. Needless to say she was nervous but his kind professional and caring bedside manner had her feeling at ease immediately. As a parent a felt that she was receiving the very best care and I was at ease as well. THANK YOU a million times over, truly a practice that puts patients first.

Fantastic experience: My daughter is extremely anxious and Kim is an angel who always handles her with care and consideration. I appreciate her and Dr. Nate addressing my concerns as a parent as well as being compassionate with my daughter.

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Pediatric Dentistry enough! I have 4 kids (3 in braces) and won't take them to any other dentist or orthodontist. The whole team is so patient and good with our kids, even when the kids aren't acting their best. Dr. Brad, Alex, Devin, Morgan, Taryn, Kim, and everyone else have all been absolutely amazing to our kids and to us!

Fantastic experience: Our family has been coming to Great Falls Pediatric Dentistry for over 6 years. They always go above and beyond to make my children not only feel comfortable but to have a good time here. It’s so much easier to go to dentist appointments when they look forward to it!

Positive experience: Let’s just be clear about one thing, they do not employ Dental Hygienists (they do not have to by law). Dr Nate and most of the staff are great however, none of the ASSISTANTS should be scaling your child’s teeth. The one assistant who walks around claiming to be a hygienist is nothing of the sort. She did NOT go to any dental hygiene school nor is she registered with the state of Montana as such. Hopefully they have addressed this issue, if they even know she is doing it. My friend went in and she flat out lied and said she is a hygienist, she is not and it is illegal for her to do any scaling. This is negligent and dangerous. Update——they did not reach out to that is a lie.

Fantastic experience: We’ve had great experiences here - my boys saw Kim and Doctor Nate and they always do such a good job being friendly with the kids and keeping me involved in their care. 10/10 - VERY happy here.

Fantastic experience: You guys are amazing with kids my daughter went in today and the lady was so nice made it fun for my daughter that had to be sedated last time, she handled this appointment like a champ with their help! She loved the jokes and the make believe to get her to accept things like hands on your belly button so it doesn't fly away haha my daughter loved that, my daughter had a crown that fell out the tooth beneath was grinded down showing nerves she lost all appetite for 2 days cuz it was the weekend they got her in and all fixed up,

Fantastic experience: Dr. Nate is absolutely wonderful! He came in after hours and saved my daughter's front teeth after a trampoline incident. He clearly cares about his patients and we're very grateful for him!

Positive experience: Update: still love this place, unfortunately my kiddo is no longer a patient. The orthodontist they brought in gave a very unpleasant visit, told me our insurance would not cover something my son needed, and then I was sent letters and called repeatedly that I needed to get my son in to get this procedure and pay out of pocket for it. An appointment was even scheduled that I did not schedule myself. I took my son to a different dentist and he was sent to a different orthodontist who confirmed he did need that procedure AND that it WOULD be covered by insurance seeing as it was necessary. I’m so disappointed that this happened and we’re missing out on such an awesome place. Pediatric Dentistry is an amazing place, as long as you don’t have to see the in house orthodontist, hopefully he’s brushed up on what insurance does and doesn’t cover by now. Absolutely love this place! They let kids be kids, and create a really comfortable environment so that seeing the dentist is fun and not scary! Thank you to Emily for being so awesome & Dr Rich! All the doctors are amazing!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Nate and his staff are amazing! We’ve been going to them for 5 years. Every appointment is great! They put our son at ease right away with their kindness. They go over everything thoroughly, answer all our questions and address our concerns. Recently our son got hurt at school and they got us in immediately! We feel so grateful to have such good dental care for our children here in Great Falls.

Fantastic experience: I was able to get my son in within 2 days as he was a new patient and they were great! I was even late and they still saw him and the nurse was amazing and friendly. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: My 5 year old needed 4 crowns done today. Dr. Alexa and Kim did such a wonderful job! He was conscious for the entire visit and he didn't make a sound. Clearly he didn't feel a thing and is happy to participate in getting his teeth taken care of. He is leaving with extra prizes and no dentist fear!!!! Highly recommend pediatric dentistry, Dr. Alexa, and Kim for making this such a great experience.

Fantastic experience: The staff are wonderful especially Kim. She has been the reason I have been able to bring my five special needs children to the dentist. Her kind compassionate words and the way she works with each one of them individually has been so great. Dr. Nate and Dr. Kevin are wonderful dentists. Negative experience: I typically am not one to leave reviews let alone bad ones however after our experience I feel it’s necessary to leave one. We took our 18 month old in for some concerns with her teeth, the first appointment was great and we left feeling confident on what we needed to keep our eyes out for. Our follow up however they scheduled us with the wrong dentist who proceeded to inform us that she needs crowns right away (not an easy or gentle procedure at her age) or she will be losing those teeth without a doubt. I was left feeling like we had no options or alternatives. I decided to look around and get a second opinion which led to us finding out that no intervention is needed at this point AT ALL. The dentist we followed up with for a second opinion very thoroughly looked at all her teeth and willingly answered all of my questions and concerns, this was something that did not happen at Great Falls Pediatric Dentistry. A very disheartening and disappointing situation and I’m so glad I got a second opinion before putting her through a totally unnecessary and traumatic procedure.

Fantastic experience: I will never take my children anywhere else. The whole staff is amazing. I've had a few times where a filling or cap fell out and they got us in the same day. Now they have an orthodontist!! I had 2 kids that needed braces. Every place we went the only option was braces and breaking their jaw. I'm glad I waited because we were able to get them in and they both were able to get Spark instead and no jaw breaking! Thank you Dr Kevin! You and your staff are amazing!

Fantastic experience: My 18 month old sons first dental appointment was today and it was such a great experience for him. I was nervous but the office was beautifully done he was so excited. It was clean and the staff was AMAZING. Both nurse and doctor had such wonderful rapport with him. He ended up giving his nurse a hug since she had gifted him with rubble (his fav paw patrol character). Honestly if I could give this establishment more than 5 stars I would in a heartbeat.

Fantastic experience: My daughter used to be scared to even go to the dentist office, but now she is doing better since I started her at the Great Falls Pediatric Dentistry. She did so good this last trip. Staff is all very welcoming and nice!

Fantastic experience: An excellent appointment as always! The entire staff is very friendly and attentive to my child's happiness and well-being. We had just been going for cleanings for 5 years twice a year. Now that the kids are older and are experiencing dental issues, it's nice to deal with those issues in a familiar and friendly setting with people we've come to trust. The additional orthodontic services have been so helpful to my family! Without them, we'd be traveling to Helena.

Fantastic experience: Always a joy having an appointment at Great Falls Pediatric Dentistry!! Dr Rich is AMAZING! The dental assistants are ALL always in such a good mood and smiling. A very kind group of people. For the first time, my child isn’t afraid to go to the dentist and actually asks to go ! He’s almost 10. We recommend this place to everyone !

Fantastic experience: My daughters have been going to Great Falls Pediatric Dentistry since they were old enough to begin receiving dental care. We have always loved it there and all members of staff are completely amazing! We have never had any issues with scheduling, appointments or how we are treated during our time in office. Fantastic experience: The best pediactric dentistry. My 5 yo daughter has had a great experience with them. Today we had a smooth transition from start to finish my daughter did not cry once. In fact she was laughing while getting her tooth worked on. I did not have that as a kid. Im glad she’s not afraid of the dentist. I also want to add what a fun building it is for kids(zoo themed). & the TVs on the ceiling is nice for the little ones. She watched the little mermaid today. Thank guys!!

Fantastic experience: I wish I could give these guys more the 5 stars! My 5 year old is absolutely terrified of shots and highly anxious when seeing the dentist and the Dr and his team were phenomenal with him! He was comfortable, which made mom comfortable, and had no issues. They explained everything about the process from the beginning all the way down to the billing portion so there were no surprises. Highly recommend the pediatric dentistry team!

Fantastic experience: Super Recommended I love this place for my daughter. She is only 3 1/2 years old and she is so scared with “doctors”. Fantastic experience: Brought 5 kids in today and was blown away by the awesome staff! My 3yo was nervous and they cleaned his stuffed kitty's teeth first and were so gentle and kind. The rooms are so kid friendly and fun while waiting too

Fantastic experience: Assistant Sarah is amazing. We love the entire staff and have been going to Great Falls Pediatrics Dentistry for the last 4 1/2- 5 years. My daughter LOVES going to the dentist and she loves brushing her teeth. We also love that there’s such a thing as the No Cavity Club which she has been part of the whole time we’ve been going. I love how polite and supportive everyone is and they answer my questions without being condescending.

Fantastic experience: Maddie was so great with all my kids! She explained everything really well and kept things moving quickly. The X-ray tech was awesome and explained the process in a way my 7 year old could understand. Dr. Nate answered all of my questions and was thorough, friendly and polite. I’m always so grateful and amazed that I can get 4 young kids in and out of the dentist in an hour and a half! After we left my kids said in all sincerity, “thanks for taking us to the dentist, Mom!” What kid says that?! Obviously these guys do a great job.

Fantastic experience: The staff is seriously wonderful. They made it very fun for my daughter so she wasn’t scared. They both made sure to tell my daughter what they were doing and she even got to watch a movie on their screen while he was looking at her teeth. I will never change to a new dentist, I love this place so much.

Fantastic experience: Ive been taking my 9 year old to Great Falls Pediatric Dentistry since he was 2, and I just had my daughters first 12 month Check up. The patience and knowledge they have for children is my favorite. 5 out of 5!!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended Dr.Nate! 1st time of my daughter having any major surgery and her teeth and I couldn't have asked for a better doctor! Makes the kid and parent/family feel very comfortable and explains everything he will be doing very well. Can't forget the assistant! Fantastic experience: We saw nurse Kim and DR. Nate. My son has bad sensory issues. He had a huge melt down at his appointment. So, I was nervous for his crown. He did amazing! DR. Nate had him laughing and chatting. They were done in no time.

Fantastic experience: Go to the dentist can be scary, but we are so lucky to get to go to the best pediatric dentistry there is! We especially love Kim! She is so sweet and patient with both of my kids, and they love going to the dentist just to see her!! It helps that she loves the Raiders, like us!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely LOVE Great Falls Pediatric Dentistry... We have had an emergency situation with my youngest daughter twice now, and both times, they got her in the same day I called. Fantastic experience: Great Falls Pediatric Dentistry did an amazing job with my son. He recently had to have two teeth extracted……to say he was nervous is an understatement! Kim and Dr. Nate were so calming with him and let him know what they were doing the whole way through the procedure. Once the numbing wore off there has been no pain! Thank you to all the Staff!!

Fantastic experience: Taylor was very patient and kind to my daughter who was nervous about going to the dentist. They tried to get X-rays but couldn’t. Taylor explained everything that was going to happen during the process, Taylor never got upset or forced her to do anything that would make her feel uncomfortable. Taylor gave my daughter options to make her experience as positive as possible. As someone who works with young children this is important to me. I would recommend Great Falls Pediatric Dentistry to anyone but especially those families that have children that are nervous about the dentist. Fantastic experience: I bring my kids to the Havre office when they come on Thursday's for check-ups. My baby girl needed further dental care, so we came down to the Great Falls office where we seen Kim & Dr. Nate. I was nervous about the extractions & how my daughter might react but they did such a great job & so did she. They made sure that we were both comfortable & they walked us through every step so that my daughter knew what to expect. She had to get 3 teeth extracted & they made sure she didn't feel anything & was fully numb. Kim & Dr. Nate cheered her on the whole way through & reassured her that everything was ok. They thoroughly explained after care & said if I needed anything to text or call. The atmosphere is fun & fully kid friendly with each room having an animal kingdom theme & the tv's on the ceilings thay play disney movies are a plus.

Fantastic experience: The team at Great Falls Pediatric Dentistry has been taking care of my son's teeth for over 6 years now. It is always a good experience when we go for a checkup and cleaning. Staff is friendly and fun.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Nate and Kim are phenomenal with both of my children! Dr. Nate always is kind and gentle with my kids who are aged 4 and 12. He explains things to me in depth and answers any questions I have, no matter how many. Kim is by far the best and most experienced tech/assistant in the building! She is calm and wonderful with my daughter who gets extreme anxiety about injections - walking her through all of it and easing her mind. They are personable and down to earth while also being extremely intelligent in their work and extremely efficient. I would recommend both of them without question for children from birth on up. It was a miracle when the practice moved into town!

Fantastic experience: My son has special needs and I will only take my son here. He is eight years old. The dentists are phenomenal and the nurses assistants are also just as wonderful. My son loves coming. Excellent customer service. Wouldn't take my son anywhere else. Kim Dr Nate and Dr rich are my son's favorites

Fantastic experience: Welcoming phone reception, dental assistants, and dentist. Really fun decor for kids throughout building. We were offered and given a tour as it was our first time there. Dental assistants were very accommodating with my toddler who was nervous and crying. She was given little toys and was able to watch part of her favorite movie to make her feel more comfortable. Dr. Nate asked the staff to familiarize my daughter with the X-ray process for next time. They just really go out of their way to make the experience comfortable for kids and parents. We’ll be back!

Fantastic experience: Assistances Holly and Kim are super amazing and friendly, they were great handling my 3 kids (one who is special needs). Dr. Nate was just one of a kind and perfect. I would highly recommend any and everyone to bring their children here.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love these guys! The whole office is very kid centered, and the staff really engage my kids so that they have fun and look forward to getting their teeth cleaned with a toothpaste flavor of their choice, usually cookie dough. I also appreciate that when one of my kiddos is having an off day, they’re patient and understanding. Any questions and concerns I have had about my children’s dental health have been answered thoroughly and promptly. When my oldest needed to be seen urgently, they got us in quickly and efficiently, and of course, the kids love the iPads, murals, and treats.

Fantastic experience: We love Dr. Nate and Dr. Rich!! We thought we would never find a replacement dentist for our old dentist, but the staff and docs are amazing, they listen, and they engage with your kiddos! Our dental hygienist played fruit ninja with my daughter while waiting for the dr.!

Fantastic experience: Always a great experience for both my boys. Love how they schedule them together, makes it so much easier. Both the hygienists and dentist work really well with anxiety ridden children! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Love this dentist office, Dr Nate and staff always treated my kids with the upmost respect! Have been using this office for well over 13 years!!! They also provide the kids with activities so if you have multiple kids they can keep their mind busy while waiting. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: We have had such an amazing experience here! Maddie and Dr.Rich we’re wonderful and helped my kids feel comfortable, and safe. Especially my daughter who has anxiety when going to a dentist.

Fantastic experience: I will never take my kids to another dentist the rest of their lives. All he staff was so nice and our DA, Maddy, was phenomenal. I can see why people request her specifically. Dr. Rich is so kind and gentle with these kids and answered every question we had. He spoke to my autistic 12 year old more like a friend than a patient. I recommend them to everyone.
