Negative experience: Horrible customer service..... called to see about making an appointment and the cost she was very RUDE.... didn't give her name or I'd say who exactly it was..... if you don't want to be at work stay home..... because being rude and nasty on the phone just makes me wonder how they treat our kids!!!! But I will be finding anything dentist office for my kids!!!!!

Negative experience: Not impressed with this dental office. They make it very clear that they are out of network for ALL insurance, but told me they would let me know what I would owe before I came in. I received a text that specifically said I would owe $0. It wasn't until a week after the visit, when I received a bill for over $300 that they told me my insurance didn't actually give them a quote and said to file first. This is a big miscommunication on their part. Do not send the text with a $0 quote if you DO NOT HAVE A QUOTE. Besides that, the hygienist and dentist insisted on doing a FULL cleaning on a barely 1 year old patient. That "they just have to be held down" at this age. They also held her down for the dentist to look at her teeth. That's exactly how you create a fear of the dentist forever. Our last dentist focused on letting toddlers feel comfortable first. The only good thing about this place was the decor. Will not be going back.

Fantastic experience: This pediatric dentist is amazing!!! They got me in next day morning appointment and were all so professional, nice, caring and super informative. We will definitely be coming back here for all of our toddlers needs and any issues. Thank you so much for being amazing and caring for our son. We will recommend them to everyone!

Fantastic experience: We have been patients of Dr. White’s for a little over two years now, but everything thus far has been routine dental care. All was excellent! This morning, my four-year-old son had to have an extraction after suffering a pretty severe tooth fracture over the weekend. When I called the emergency dental line after it happened, Dr. White called me back within 15 minutes and told me his office staff would get us in first thing the next business day. They did just that, and he explained our options and what the pros and cons of each were. His extraction was this morning and could not have gone better. I was amazed by Dr. White and Rachel and how well they worked together. He narrated everything for my son in a way that kept him at ease, he was so quick and the entire thing was painless. I actually had tears in my eyes because of how well it went. Cannot recommend Dr. White and this practice enough.

Fantastic experience: Dr. White has been our children’s dentist since we moved to Lake Mary in 2011. My kids actually like going to the dentist. It’s a fun atmosphere and all the staff have been friendly and efficient. I trust Dr. White 100% with my children’s dental care.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was so sweet and welcoming. We just moved to here and have been going to the same dentist for almost 13 years so it was very comforting to be switching to such nice people and a great business. It was fun for kids as well with all of the decorations and the prizes.

Positive experience: After 12 years as loyal patients who self-paid because they’re never in network with our insurance companies (3 kids and even commuting after moving out of the area), we’re ready to leave. While I do like Dr. White, I have been growing more and more unhappy with the way the office is run. Today, for the first time, I was asked to wait in the waiting room (because they over-scheduled to see more patients and didn’t have space for me). I clarified my wishes and the hygienist agreed to not treat with fluoride then did it without my consent. They have respected my wishes over the years, but this time she “forgot” and it’s completely unacceptable. If you choose to use this office and have any concerns about what is being done to your kids’ teeth, I recommend staying with your children the entire time to make sure they’re following your directions. Sad to leave feeling so upset today and I’m only sharing because they specifically asked for feedback and posted this link.

It was her first time going to the dentist and her ability to put Sarah at ease and the information she gave me as far as starting her with a good brushing routine and the tips and tricks she taught me or great! Negative experience: Yes Dr White is great! Elise the Hygentist is so rude and was not at all patient with my kids. The staff upfront appears friendly and professional until there is an issue. I was told my new insurance although out of pocket would cover like my old and I would only owe a couple dollars. When I got there I was told fluoride was covered and I had to pay 76 for x-rays. When I checked out my bill was 305, charged for fluoride and a lot more than 76 for x-rays. They told me they don’t run insurance until a day before you get there so they never know what is covered. (So knew I had to pay for fluoride but said it was free and knew I was being charged more than 76 I was just told) My husband called to dispute the charge they told him they left a voice mail with the cost which they never did! (Once again lied to my face about what I was paying while in there) They had me acknowledge by signing they gave me the cost for some future work and my cost would be 130. When I checked out they said we will call your insurance to verify. I asked what I signed then if it’s not going to be 130. They said that’s only an estimate we don’t know what it’s going to be until your insurance is verified the day before. Which they require a 48hr cancellation period, so either way you’re paying them something! Business is ran horribly!!!

Fantastic experience: Our daughter loves this office and their staff. She was so nervous when she first started coming but they make her so comfortable! She didn't even complain once this time and did everything with confidence!!!

The ENTIRE staff is so friendly, efficient, and professional. The office is so cute and incredibly clean, definitely designed with kids in mind! Dr. White was very informative and great with my son! Fantastic experience: My daughter had her cleaning today and fluoride treatment. Her hygienist was awesome!!! She took the time to explain to her how to really floss and “get in there” for her braces. My daughter eft saying, she was so nice, we talked about summer plans and she was funny. Fantastic experience: I was so anxious about my toddler’s first dentist appointment but was completely blown away by how pleasant the experience was! The staff were friendly and great with kids, the lobby and decor created a fun atmosphere for children, and there were things available to distract and encourage kids to behave (TV on the ceiling above the patient bed, treasure chest with goodies that they showed kids before the appt to get them excited, etc.). All around excellent - we’ll be back!

Negative experience: Doctors are pleasant, but rushed- seem a bit frazzled, and we've had a different one every visit. Decor of the office is awesome for kids. Some of the hygienists we've had are soooo nice and have great interaction with children. However, whomever we had today was awful. Barely talked to my children and refused to let me take a first time dentist photo for our keepsake book. Cited HIPAA, but there was no one else there and I certainly wasn't trying to take a photo of her computer. For a children's dentist office, this would be an easy accommodation. Very very disappointing and nothing like our previous visits.

Fantastic experience: I was nervous to take my baby to his first dentist appointment but the staff is amazing and he did great! The office is also gorgeous - looks like a Disney themed park and my son had a blasting while waiting.

Fantastic experience: My daughter absolutely loves going to see Dr. White and all the people at Lake Mary Dentistry! They have always been so good with her since early on and she quickly got over her anxiety due to their patience and kindness. Dr. White is always thorough and willing to answer any questions or concerns. Great personality and bedside manner. I highly recommend this place for children...and it would be great if they saw adult patients too!

Fantastic experience: We’ve been with Dr. White for eleven years. Every visit is a pleasure with the same smiling staff. My kids love going to the “cool dentist”. Dr. White and his staff are amazing, go above and beyond and everyone I’ve referred to the practice has only positive things to say. We have the greatest dentist and staff. Too bad he doesn’t see adults...lol!

Fantastic experience: In the words of my 9 year old daughter, Makayla: this place does a great job of making kids feel comfortable and even have fun. I had a tooth pulled today and Dr. White did an awesome job making me laugh and making it not hurt too much. We recently moved here from Pennsylvania and we are so thankful we found this awesome dentist.

Fantastic experience: This is an awesome A+ practice with a professional and friendly staff. Procedures are explained clearly, and the office is really inviting for the kids. Great location with lots of parking and effective logistics (reasonable wait times). And everyone loves a visit to the treasure chest!

Fantastic experience: I wish I could give more than 5 stars! What a positive experience. My daughter had a face injury with teeth pain. LMPD squeezed her in, did a great job checking her out and assuring us all is well. Stop searching, seriously best dentist I have ever taken my kids to. Both for routine appts and emergencies!!!

Negative experience: Dr. White and his staff are wonderful. My daughter has been a patient for many years and looks forward to going to her dentist appointments, however, I'm submitting a 2-star review because we've now had more than one experience where the Practice Manager was unsympathetic, condescending, and dismissive to our needs as patients. Another big issue was this practice is not in network with any insurance providers. This doesn't make it easy on parents. We've decided to move on to a practice which is in network with our insurance carrier. We should have done this years ago.

Fantastic experience: My son has been going to Lake Mary Pediatric Dentistry for 7 years. They are Great with him. They had to fill 2 cavities and gave him laughing gas. He was not scare and let them take care of him without any issues.

Fantastic experience: We love Lake Mary Pediatric Dentistry! The kids love the lobby with the replica woody and video games. The staff are friendly - Rachel is the best! Their demeanor with children is excellent, especially Dr White. They do a great job and make visiting the dentist fun for our kids.

Fantastic experience: Not only was the office clean, but it had cartoons playing and a cute little bus my little ran straight to. Everyone was very friendly, especially Brittney, the dental assistant. She was patient and kind and never pushed my 6 yr old to do anything she was not comfortable with (taking the X-rays of the front teeth was scary) the dr was great and spoke to my child and explained everything he was doing which made her feel much more comfortable, as this was our first time here and these kind of things can be nerve racking. All in all, great experience and I would surely recommend!

Fantastic experience: my daughter who is going for the very 1st time to the dentist office forgot her fear about going when she saw their was video games and cartoons on TV . Also my daughter got so excited when her dentist told her when she leaves she gets to grab a toy from the treasure chest and a sticker. when she was getting her cleaning and exam done she laid down watching her favorite cartoon Bluey playing from the ceiling. I highly recommend this place everyone was super nice and my daughter fear went completely away in a matter of minutes. thank you to everyone and to the brilliant mind who came up with the pirates theme and all the kid friendly things in the office.

Fantastic experience: LOVE Dr White and the amazing and sweet office staff and hygienists! My boys have had great experiences for over 12 years! Extractions are always easy and stress-free (and we’ve had a few!) Highly recommend if you are in the NW Seminole or SW Volusia area.

Fantastic experience: My son’s first ever dentist appt was at Lake Mary Pediatric Dentistry. I already knew he was not going to be a fan of going to the dentist, especially at age 2 years old. I was very impressed, surprised and grateful for the their entire process. My son felt so comfortable from the moment he walked into this office. The décor in the waiting room is absolutely inviting for children. The staff was extremely nice and welcoming. Fantastic experience: We can’t say enough wonderful things about Lake Mary Pediatric Dentistry. The kids look forward to going to the dentist! The waiting room is awesome, the office staff is incredibly kind and accommodating, the hygienists do fantastic explaining things do my kids understand and teach them (hands on) how to brush and floss. They’re even kind to siblings stuck waiting for their brother or sister. And all that is before you see the amazing doctors who are thorough, intelligent and patient.

Fantastic experience: I recently brought my 3 year old son for his first ever dentist appointment. I was worried about how he would react, but I was very pleasantly surprised at how smoothly the whole visit went. The moment we went in he got excited to look around at all the cool decorations, especially the light-up volcano. The dental assistant was so great with him and made him feel at ease when she saw he was a little nervous. The dentist was great, too. I honestly could not have asked for a better first dentist experience for him, and he has even asked if he could go back to the "volcano dentist". Thank you!

Fantastic experience: We went to a few dentists when our 3 year old was having tooth aches. Lake Mary Pediatric Dentistry was the only one that didn't treat us like a wallet with legs. They took the time to explain issues, steps to resolve, and how anesthesia worked with toddlers. They were amazing!

Fantastic experience: I called for an appointment for my daughter and they got me in the very next day despite their busy schedule! When we arrived, the office was clean, very kid friendly and all the office staff were welcoming and kind. They gave us a tour of the office before our appointment began and they talked me and my daughter through the whole appointment. I could not have asked for a better visit or experience!!! If your child has any nervousness or anxiety about the dentist, I highly recommend bringing them to this dentist. My daughter walked in almost to tears and as soon as we walked in, all of that went away immediately! So grateful! Worth every penny to make sure my kids are comfortable and taken care of properly. Fantastic experience: This was my son's (4y/o) first dental experience and I am beyond impressed with Lake Mary Pediatric Dental and their staff. Our hygienist, Antiqua, was incredible with my son - she explained cleaning, made him feel safe and comfortable, talked with me about any concerns I might have, etc. Dr. White was amazing with him too! He made sure to include my son in the discussion and asked if he had any questions, as well as gave me a heads up on what to expect with his teeth in the future. Plus - it's absolutely beautiful inside and very clean. We're thankful to have found them for our Pediatric Dental care!

Fantastic experience: They’ve created such a great atmosphere for kids. The front lobby has interactive games and a play area. We have 5 kids, ages 2-14 and everyone from Dr. Nick, the hygienists and the entire staff are great with each of them, being very adaptable to their personalities and needs. As odd as it sounds my kids enjoy going to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: My 4 yr old had to have his front tooth extracted after a fall from when he was much younger. I was so nervous that my super fidgety boy would not do well. But I was so highly surprised! Dr White & Miranda did an amazing job! Max was calm & didn’t even cry! Can’t believe that this experience was so easy for my son! Will definitely recommend this office for anyone needing dental work for their children.

Fantastic experience: Always have great experiences! The kids do not dread going to the dentist. I really appreciate the staff’s ability to work with you for scheduling and unforeseen last minute changes. I could not take my daughter in for the appointment this morning because we are having work done on our home. I had to be here to let people in and out as well as answer questions. My mother helped out and took my daughter to the appointment. My mother and daughter were able to go to the appointment and the office was kind enough to email me the receipt for signature and return. With everything we have going on this was extremely helpful and very much appreciated!

Fantastic experience: For me, looking for a new dentist/doctor for my 4 children always causes anxiety. When we first moved to FL from TX, we established care at another local pediatric dentist office and had not so great experiences that left my youngest (2 at the time) requiring oral surgery and very apprehensive to the dentist. We left that practice and have been with Lake Mary Pediatric Dentistry since. (going on 3 years now) Upon the first visit, the office aesthetics automatically drew my kids in. Their facility is decked out in bright colors with a very fun, beach-surf theme. There are interactive screens the kids can play on while they wait. The office staff seem to be very organized and in communication (which I love), and anytime you have a question, if they don't know it, they'll find someone who does and can help answer your questions. Most of the time my kids have seen Dr. White. I had a lot of questions about nitrous when we first established care and he very patiently addressed all of my concerns. Another time, I had an urgent question about an issue with one of my daughter's teeth, but it was the weekend. I left a message on their after-hours line, sent pictures via email and Dr. Thanh got back to me that afternoon. Most of our visits have been kindly greeted by Lisa Marie at the front desk. My kids love Antiqua, and just today I had a lengthy conversation with Tempest on the phone regarding one of my sons's upcoming treatment plan and future scheduling. I could go on and on with every visit having some enjoyable, memorable moment, but I digress, lol. I apologize for not remembering everyone's name, but they're just wonderful. All of them! If you ever have questions, they're always patient in answering. In regards to scheduling, I always receive reminder/save-the-date emails, as well as, confirmation emails so I never miss an appointment. I'd recommend LMPD to everyone w/ kiddos! Especially to those families that have had not so great experiences with prior establishments that left your child apprehensive. This place is stellar! P.s. My kids always look forward to the treasure chest after their visits - even the oldest, haha! My youngest, whom I previously mentioned having oral surgery with our *prior* dentist, has no issues going to LMPD. She actually gets upset with me when we drive by the office to go to the neighboring coffee shop, and don't stop by to get another tooth brush, Lol!

Negative experience: I will no longer be bringing my kids to Lake Mary Dentistry. I found better care elsewhere. My kids did not like the nitrous and I was forced to put my kid’s through that when it’s not necessary. I was told they would not do a procedure without it. Also multiple appointments for cavities that don’t need to be filled on baby teeth. They just want my money. I had been going there for over 8 years. As this business has gotten bigger, it’s become more money focused VS patient focused. I’ve noticed a change in the last year or two. Both of my kids have been traumatized by bad experiences at this office. Not anymore.

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t be more impressed with this pediatric dentist. I took my 1.5 year old for an unexpected visit (had a fall), and his first experience at the dentist was wonderful, thanks to the amazing staff. Julia was so well trained and patient in dealing with little ones, and I am still in awe at how well the visit went.

Fantastic experience: Love Lake Mary Pediatric Dentistry. It start by just entering the office. It's so welcoming, the children just love the theme that is thru out the entire office. The staff and doctors are so wonderful and kind to both parents and children! Both my boys love being there and have never felt afraid to go the dentist!

Fantastic experience: First visit for my little bubs went great! Everyone was very nice and treated my baby great! Only issue I had was that both parents couldn't come back which sucked for my hubby. He is our miracle baby abd we like to do all of his firsts together ❤ Otherwise, it was all perfect

Fantastic experience: Best dentist office ever. Very clean, open, spacious and totally efficient. My appointment was 8:30 and that's when we were seen. Full explanation by tech and the always pleasant and personable Dr. Thanh. They schedule you for your 6 month return on your way out. My kids always enjoy coming to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience! I honestly expected my 17-month-old to cry the whole visit as she isn't very cooperative with teeth brushing at home, but she loved her visit. The office is beautiful and inviting. The staff is friendly and kind. I can't wait to bring her sister. Second visit was just like the first. Still amazing! Baby girl loves the dentist. I highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: My boys and I really enjoyed our visit. I’ve never visited such a kid friendly, well organized dental office. Everything was very nice and visually pleasing. I felt the visual set up helped to ease the kids fear of dental work. I’m so happy I found this dental place.

Fantastic experience: 1st time at the dentist for my son. He loved it. Staff was courteous, nice and great with kids. Dr. Alvarez was awesome. Office has a very cool setup for kids- it's inviting. Positive experience: Dr. White is amazing! I drive far all the way from Lake Nona to see him. My son was terrified of our old dentist. He always was nervous and now he is no longer nervous with Dr. White.

Fantastic experience: Experience was great. My 4 year old was very nervous this was only her second visit to a dentist. She did great, everybody made her feel comfortable. Staff and doctors are super professional, super sweet and patient, facility is very clean and neat and have plenty of entertainment for the kids. I would definitely recommend this place to any family.

Fantastic experience: Dr. White and his staff are amazing! We have always been very pleased with routine cleanings but my daughter recently had an injury to her front tooth and we received awesome care. Dr. White is great and I would highly recommend this practice!

Fantastic experience: This dental office is adorable! The decor screams "fun time" for kids. We waited barely 5 minutes which was awesome. I had both my children there and they saw them separately but at the same time. Both dental assistants were wonderful and friendly. Dr. Alvarez was so thorough and kind. This will definitely be our permanent pediatric dentist office!

Fantastic experience: Our visit to this office went really great. In light of all that is going on, I felt really grateful that temp checks are taking place prior to entry, chairs are spaced very far apart (by pairs), masks are mandatory, and protocols for a safe environment are clearly practiced consistently. Our actual visit was on time, the DH was amazing, smart, and great with my child (went over the importance of a healthy mouth, and kept him engaged with info while she worked). The doc was also friendly and engaging with the little patient, and the teamwork between the staff is amazing as well. I am very pleased with the dental experience for my child, and am thankful and impressed by their standards. 5 stars!

Fantastic experience: This office is amazing for children. I am a dental hygienist myself and I can say this office is clean, professional and efficient. The decor is so much fun for children and the staff is so warm. My two year old has seen two different doctors both of which were professional and had great chair side manor. I would recommend this office to any parent looking for a quality pediatric dental home.

Fantastic experience: Dr. White did great for my 7 year old daughters filling. The procedure was so quick and he helped distract her and made her feel less nervous. With the current Covid restrictions from the CDC, I had to stand right at the door exam room door (which is required at all dentists offices right now) she and I both felt that Dr White would keep her comfortable with me just talking from the door and he did! We were in and out in less than 25-30 minutes. Couldn’t ask for more.

Fantastic experience: Went in for my 2 yr olds first cleaning. Office is SO kid friendly, my son loved the airplane and car. Staff was amazing. Hygienist and Dr talked him through the whole thing. My son got to stay in my lap the whole time and we successfully made it through. Afterwards he got to get a prize from this treasure chest in the wall. We walked outside and he says, "i did it. I got my teeth cleaned!" . Now he is sitting in the car brushing his new giraffes teeth with his new toothbrush. WIN!

Fantastic experience: I have been so pleased with Lake Mary Pediatric Dentistry. The waiting room is the coolest and kids are happy to be there. The office staff is incredibly friendly. I appreciate how the hygienist talks my kids through the process of getting their teeth cleaned, but in the most kid friendly terms! Dr. White is awesome and truly knows how to make kids feel comfortable. We have continued to have great experiences there and would not go anywhere else!
