Fantastic experience: Dr. Denise and her team are the best! We have tried other pediatric dentist and have had terrible experiences. I feel so involved and supported as a mom. I love that I can sit with my kids and be there while they have dental procedures done. The team does such a good job with my 3 and 4 year old to get them laughing and comfortable. Would recommend over and over :)

Negative experience: I’ve called 5 times now, 2 different days. They do not answer their phone. I don’t want to leave a message, I want to speak to someone when I call. It’s very unprofessional. I have 3 kids - now they’ve missed out on 3 new patients.

Dr. Katie is truly one of a kind — gentle, thorough, and great at explaining everything in a way both parents and kids can understand. The kids get to pick from prizes, watch movies during their cleaning, and leave feeling proud instead of scared. The level of patience and compassion here is unmatched — even for little ones who are shy or anxious. It’s so refreshing to find a dental office that’s this well-run and family-oriented. Negative experience: The cleanliness in the exam room they had my 4 year old son in was absolutely disgusting. The pictures speak for themselves. Not to mention the lack of knowledge and compassion towards my son who has high level autism. We will not be going back. This is the second time we’ve been there and both experiences were TERRIBLE.

Fantastic experience: The Frankfort location is over an hour away but it is worth the drive! Our son is non verbal Autistic and they are so patient and friendly. They follow his lead and only do what he is comfortable with. They even got him to take X-rays! We've been going for over 2yrs and always have a great experience. Today we saw Angie, Jasmine, and Dr. Denise and all of them were wonderful.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to this office by a friend. I was not disappointed in the slightest. Office staff is so friendly and welcoming. Both dentists my girls have seen have been knowledgeable and seemed to really care about their long term oral health. They never push unwanted tests or imaging and always check prior with insurance, so there’s no surprises. Another perk is that the office is super cute and so kid friendly. I drive close to a hour for this office and it’s more than worth it!

Fantastic experience: Recently moved & had to pick a new dentist for my kids (8, 6 and 3). Bite Size dental was the first option while checking through insurance & wow am I SO happy it was. Perfect for kids! Very colorful & staff is so good with the kids. Tablets & tv in waiting room. Write the kids name on the door and get to pick a prize when done. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: My son fell and cracked a tooth so I was a worried mom unsure what to do. Brittany took my call and was EXTREMELY caring, thorough, and reassuring to me. She helped me through the process and was so great to work with. Dr Jamie was also wonderful. So good with my son and talked me through all the options to ease my mind. The hygienists was also super friendly and calming to my son. Will definitely be a long time patient there

Negative experience: Money maker of a business....they don't even tell you what insurance is covering until 7 days after receiving the card. They also don't tell you what services are being done without consent of parents just to bill insurance and clients for services not even needed. Poor customer service. I had credits on my accounts at several visits, why are they billing insurance and charging more than what is needed to be covered just to have credits on accounts, makes no sense. Now that I find out my new insurance card isn't covered I'm stuck with $500 cleaning bill out of pocket for two kids. Who pays that kind of expense, the office should have called before any services were performed to verify like any other medical office does. The kicker is my second child came for a cleaning the next day and they still didn't know we have to pay out of pocket. Go to a dental place that actually values your business, not a company that's focus is only collecting and billing.

The whole office recognized it and allowed me to comfort her. My youngest was a complete terror at his first visit and ALL the staff were BEYOND patient. All in all, I highly recommend for ALL child dentistry needs. This office should be your very first experience with your child. ** Do not go to a REGULAR dentist office. They are not equipped to handle big emotions with little kids. Bite Size staff are well trained to manage.**

Fantastic experience: My kids feel so comfortable at Bite Size Pediatric Dentistry! Everything is bright, welcoming, friendly and clean! The staff is amazing patient from start to finish. We're so glad we found this practice! We drive 20 miles and it is worth it!

Negative experience: The hygienist and the dentist were nice and did a good job. They let me know upfront that there would be a charge for a fluoride treatment. So I was able to decline that, but they didn't let me know ahead of time that the "type" of X-rays they completed weren't your basic insurance covered x-rays. Something that should have been covered, I ended up paying for which really annoyed me. Had I known ahead of time I would have made sure I only got services covered by insurance.

We had a plan and I knew the costs ahead of time everything was explained to me and they made sure I understood and had no questions. Dr Denise was very kind as well as all the techs. everyone there seems super personable and pleasant. The place is bright and VERY kid friendly. A+++ for us.

We were in and out. Dr Denise made the whole procedure go by smoothly and Rachel was great explaining everything to my son (in a kid friendly manner) that he understood. Fantastic experience: I love this dentist office. Every person that works in. There is so sweet and so nice. I take my six-year-old daughter to the Frankfurt location. She’s been going there since she’s been three years old. Every time we go they are out of their way so so nice and welcoming not to mention how cool the place is!! All the cool pictures on the walls. The computer is for the kids to play with and they give the kids cool prizes and take their picture. My daughter loves going there !!! The Dentist is SO sweet!! Positive experience: My son had his first appointment here the other day . He is very nervous about the dentist! The woman who took all the xrays , had a very cold , unkind attitude towards us . I'm not sure if it's just her personality or what!? She didn't smile once at my son . She was impatient and seemed annoyed. The Dr and the rest of the staff were all friendly and helpful. I left the office feeling awful My son has been here twice after his first visit . I have not encountered the woman who first took care of us . The Dr's and dental assistance have gone out of their way to try and comfort my son . They are all amazing.

Fantastic experience: Bite Size is truly an answer to prayer! My little one has always been very anxious when going to the dentist. Prior to coming to Bite Size she wouldn’t even open her mouth for a cleaning at the regular dentist office we go to. The dentist and hygienists incredibly patient and knowledgeable in how to make kids feel more comfortable and how to make sure their feelings are valued and respected. The entire staff takes an approach of patience with their patients and allowing there to be a plan A and a plan B as sometimes children are not the most predictable. I would highly recommend bite size to any parent whose child has anxious feelings when going to the dentist. After about a year at bite size my daughter now looks forward to going to the dentist… all thanks for Bite Size!

Fantastic experience: This was my daughter’s first dental experience and it completely exceed my expectations. Every single person there was incredible with kids: flexible, patient, knowledgeable (about kids and dentistry!) and compassionate. I cannot recommend them enough. My 3 year old had so much fun and can’t wait to go back! Emily, Sam, and Dr. Kelsey were amazing.

Negative experience: Both of my children have been going to this office for about a year. They told me they wanted to do a surgery on my 4 year old son's teeth and that because he was so young he would need to go under general anesthesia for the surgery. The only communication I had about any kind of billing was with Jessica in their billing department. She collected not only my dental insurance info but also my medical insurance info which she said was needed for anesthesia. I was given a quote from the dental office that my total out of pocked after insurance would be $3,700. I paid that amount in full up front before surgery. Now, 2 months after surgery, I am getting a bill from the hospital for another $2,300. I called and spoke with Jessica in billing because I thought this was a mistake since I was told my total out of pocket for surgery was $3,700 and that was already paid. She proceeds to tell me that it was communicated with me that I would receive separate bills from the hospital and the anesthesiologist. I went back thru all of my email and text communication and looked at everything I signed. Nowhere did anything say that the amount I paid was not for the complete surgery. The form I signed said General Anesthesia Surgery at the top. Their email that they communicated with me thru was General Anesthesia. Jessica got rude with me on the phone when I was frustrated. I then talked to George, the billing manager. He said that his office was going to take this as a learning experience since it was not clearly communicated. He admitted that normally there is something else stating their are more charges than their quote on the info that is given to me before surgery explaining what the cost would be. Because they believe this was a miscommunication, they are willing to pay half of my bill. I declined as this was clearly a mistake on their end. I would not have done a surgery that cost me $6,000 out of pocket on my sons baby teeth that will be falling out in a year or so. BEWARE of this office's crooked billing practices. Read the other reviews on here. I wish I would have before taking my kids here.

Fantastic experience: We had such a pleasant experience today for our first visit!! My 4yo has always been very anxious at past dentist visits; we tried somewhere else a couple of months ago and he completely balked and had a meltdown, they couldn't even look at his teeth. So we researched and read reviews and decided to try Bite Size. I showed him photos of the office online back when we made the appt and he seemed happy. When we went in today he was all smiles and chatty, got in the chair by himself (after the very patient hygienist spent some time letting him ask questions and poke around the room), and was an absolute model patient for the appt, X-rays and all! Although they are out of network for our insurance, we will probably keep going here just because it was such a relief to have a street-free dental experience with him.
