St. Louis Pediatric Dentistry

Negative experience: This place used to be good but has become awful within the past year. Very frustrated by having appointments cancelled by them, to the point that it’s now been 13 months since my daughters’ last appointment. Had an appointment scheduled again this morning and of course it was just now cancelled just hours prior. Take your kids somewhere else, anywhere but here.

Negative experience: We have been going here for a few years. The first few appointments went great. The next several appointments were cancelled by St. Louis Pediatric Dentistry due to staffing issues. The first time we were unhappy but accommodating. The next available date they offered was over 6 months out which meant the kids missed a cleaning. When that appointment came up they called and cancelled again for the same reason and again 6 more months!! This happened a total of 3 times. A company who appreciates and respects their customers do not postpone multiple appointments by 6 months! When we called them out about the postponements they showed no remorse or flexibility. I do not need to spend our hard earned money at a company like this. Absolutely unprofessional. I suggest looking elsewhere for a respectful company. As of today, when we called to tell them we leaving, they still said they have staffing issues. You have been warned.

Negative experience: We went here for years, but recently they can't keep appointments. We have been canceled on at least 3 times in a row. Rescheduled 3-6 months out each times, left my children missing over a year and a half of cleanings. I tried to work with staff to avoid another 3 months and, while kind, they were unable to help me. I was told it was various pregnancy leave delayed returns, and illnesses. While I fully understand that happens, this is an unacceptable situation. We switched to Little Smiles. So far so good.

Negative experience: Like most of the recent reviews here mention this practice is unable to keep scheduled appointments. My kids have not been to a scheduled appointment at this location in years. Feels like we win the dental lottery when we get a call about the cancellation list and there being an opening but of course we have to absolutely drop everything we are doing and go now. Who doesn’t love taking time off work and randomly taking your kids out of school for an appointment that randomly drops on your lap. Cleanings get stretched out to almost 18 months between. What’s the point of having so many different branches if you can’t keep them staffed? Consolidate your offices. Or better yet how about hiring more dentists. This place is a joke.

Negative experience: We’ve been coming to this practice for almost 10 years without any issue until recently. Our last 3 appointments have been rescheduled by the office and it’s an additional 3-4 months out. Unfortunately that’s enough for us to move to another practice.

Negative experience: is is the second year in a row that my children’s dental appointment, scheduled well in advance, has been canceled by your office. Last year we faced the same issue, and unfortunately, it has happened again. This time, the appointment for October 27, which we scheduled more than six months ago, was canceled. When I called to reschedule, I was informed that the next available appointment would not be until 2026.

Negative experience: The dental tech staff is very friendly and I have enjoyed seeing Dr Evans over the years. However, the practice just canceled my child’s appointment for the FOURTH time in a calendar year. When they cancel the appointment, they reschedule 3+ months out, including if the child has a cavity that needs to be filled. Again, this is the PRACTICE canceling and rescheduling months out. I have talked to multiple staff about this and they just say “it is what it is” with no effort to get dental care completed in a timely fashion. This is such bad practice. Dr Evans, Dr Orrick, you need to do better.

Negative experience: If I could give less than one star or negative stars, I would do so with my most recent experience with this dental practice. My daughter has been a patient here for several years, but had a recent dental trauma on a Friday evening. After multiple calls this weekend on their emergency line, we received no call backs or guidance. Today, we tried to make an appointment to have a tooth repaired and were told that the soonest they could make a repair is January 2026, it is currently September 2025. Asking for clarification we were told, "You probably want to find another dentist." I would not recommend anyone use this practice with their abhorrent service.

Positive experience: The team of dentists and hygienists that we have worked with in several of the different offices are fantastic. They are knowledgeable, professional, good with kids and excellent communicators. Unfortunately, we have had repeated problems with the office staff. Having a schedule change at an office is understandable, but this is a persistent problem. Their inability to keep a scheduled appointments makes it difficult to work with orthodontists, oral surgeons, schools and other schedules. Furthermore, consistently offering an alternative appointment that is four or five months away from the original appointment is unacceptable. Most recently, when I complained about this, I was rudely offered an appointment the following day which was still not convenient nor within the allotted time my insurance requires between cleanings. I’m extremely disappointed that office staff would make it so difficult to for patients to receive the quality dental care this practice provides.

Fantastic experience: Ashley is the absolute best! She has always been so helpful over the years. We remain loyal customers because of people like her.

Negative experience: Do NOT take your kids to this practice. My 5 year old son has needed dental surgery for about 6 months only to have it completely canceled and having to start over with a new practice. We paid these folks thousands of dollars only to have my son’s surgery canceled three separate times before they finally told us they were unwilling to perform the dental work. 6 months of my sons teeth getting worse without the treatment he needed. Six months of them keeping our hard earned money. Now we have to start over again and pay close to $500 extra to get in with a new dentist (starting from scratch) in the hopes of my son getting the care he needs relatively quickly. When I reached out to the office manager she laughed at my concerns and was so defensive and rude that I practically had to yell at the top of my lungs to be heard and uninterrupted. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE!

Negative experience: Loved this office and staff, but appointments have constantly been rescheduled by their office further and further out. Ten months between cleanings doesn’t work.

Negative experience: They cancelled an appointment two times. The reschedules they offered were always months away. I don’t recommend at all.

Negative experience: They never keep appointments! We were rescheduled from our March appointment to an August appointment. And just got a call that the August appointment needs to be rescheduled for NOVEMBER! No thanks, time to look for a new dentist that actually keeps their appointments and sees patients.

Negative experience: This office has lost its appeal. It’s nearly impossible to get an apportionment within a reasonable time frame anymore. We were canceled on and played phone tag to try to reschedule. The ball was dropped. At one of our last appointments, I asked a billing question. She was snarky, rude, defensive in answering a simple question. We loved this office for years, and it’s tragic how quickly it went downhill. Former review: We love how efficient this office is! We never have to wait, the staff and doctors are amazing. Dr. Evan is so kind, patient, and respectful of personal decisions.

Fantastic experience: The dental hygienists and dentists are wonderful and helped my daughter feel as relaxed as possible.

Negative experience: We have had nothing but positive experiences with Dr. Jamie Orrick! Several of our friends and neighbors take their children to this office and had wonderful things to say. The staff take their time and treat the kids to a fun goodie bag at the end of their appointment. Patient, kind, and gentle are some of the words I would use to describe how the dentist has been with my child. We will be back! Changing my 5 star review many years and two more babies later to 1 star. We had a horrifically long wait between my kids’ cleaning and seeing the dentist. The hygienist seemed irritated for whatever reason and assured us the dentist would be in soon multiple times which then resulted in us waiting longer and longer. This was our first visit with this “new to us” dentist and I simply did not get a good vibe. My oldest daughter felt uncomfortable and after reading reviews from over the years, I should’ve known better than to come back to this practice after our beloved dentist, Dr. Jamie Orrick left. She acted as if it were a chore for her to be there, made me feel like a bad mother, and was short and stern with my children and I. We were also informed that this practice had lost around 10 employees which is quite alarming and explains the sudden cancellations and long wait times. We will NOT be back.

Positive experience: Very rushed and kinda overwhelming. For my child’s first dentist appointment I would have thought things would have moved slower. I feel like I would have had a more personal slow paced experience at a small town dentist that does not even specialize in pediatrics. I was told in a fast 3 minute chat that my 3 year old would need to be put out and have 4-5 teeth worked on. I would have liked a little more education as to why and I didn’t have any questions because it was so fast and overwhelming. Is this my only option and is it the best option? The hygienist was friendly and gentle but again you could just tell everyone in the facility was rushing to the next thing. Oh and our original appointment Feb 10th was canceled the day of his appointment right before we left the house and rescheduled for March 31st so that also caused some frustration. I’m not sure how long appointments are scheduled for especially the first appointment but maybe corporate should look into extending that.

Fantastic experience: Excellent staff, both my children are on the Autism spectrum and we have been seeing them for a few years now. I have had zero issues with their care and service.

Fantastic experience: My family has been seeing Dr. Lindsey since before STLPD was even opened, she worked elsewhere. We were lucky enough to fall into Dr. Lindsey's care almost 14 years ago. Now I am bringing my last little girl to see her. She must have made a lasting impression because M asks every morning if it is a Friday dentist day. I tell her no unfortunately not yet. Then she proceeds to tell me "well my tooth hurts so I need to go back". Dr. Lindsey has not only become my daughters childhood dentist but also like a friend to me.

Fantastic experience: Incredible experience at St. Louis Pediatric Dentistry!! It was my 1 year old’s first visit and the hygienist Sarah was so patient, kind and sweet. She let him touch all the tools and didn’t make us feel rushed despite my son’s lack of cooperation. This place came highly recommended by my pediatrician as well!

Fantastic experience: St. Louis Pediatric Dentistry is wonderful!! My son is 13 and has been a patient there since he was 3. He has always been treated with respect, and any pain or discomfort issues were dealt with right away. If we had an emergency, they will always work him in. Also, the lobby is large and accommodating, including a coffee bar and fridge with cold water bottles.

Fantastic experience: I took my daughter and she was ACTUALLY EXCITED at her appointment! The staff very kind and quick too! After her cleaning and xray she left happy and I did too! Found a dentistry home on the first try this place is great!

Fantastic experience: My family wouldn’t even dare go see another dentist for our children. The doctors and staff are all so amazing and welcoming. My kids love going even though it’s unusually to get work done!

Negative experience: Whelp, we've actually had a pretty good run with this Dental Office, however the prices for basic treatments (fillings..ect) have spiraled completely out of control. The dental treatment plans are absolutely insane for very basic treatments. And then they will legitimately pass you off for just about anything that doesn't fit their very narrow standards of practice. I also agree that Dr. Reed is pretty cold, condescending, and for the most part just disagreeable to parents that are really trying to navigate treatment including extractions, orthodontia, or really anything that is confusing to the average person. I also agree that you should definitely look around before you settle on a treatment plan with this particular Dental Office.

Fantastic experience: The staff at St. Louis Pediatric Dentistry are amazing! Always so cheerful, kind, patient, and understanding! They got my sons crown done in the blink of an eye and it was a very pleasant experience!

Fantastic experience: Everyone one from the receptionists to the Dentist was personable and kid-friendly, especially our Technician Neely. What a complete gem. She is in the right field and should be praised.

Fantastic experience: The staff was all so kind to my family of three and made my kids feel at ease with their appointments. Dentist assistant was so patience with my oldest daughter who being a tad difficult.

Negative experience: Dr.Lindsey Reed is the snobbiest, rudest medical professional that I have ever dealt with. She is condescending and snarky. I watched her smack a dental assistants hand away for handing her the incorrect instrument and yelled at her! She told me I’m “torturing” my child for not being able to afford thousands of dollars of dental work. Later to find out they actually just billed my insurance incorrectly and it was covered…. I could go on and on about how terrible every interaction I’ve had with this dentist was. Just don’t go here.

Fantastic experience: They are great and very friendly. They are patient when they were examining my 9 months old teeth. Highly recommend them

Fantastic experience: After our first visit, we are happy with a comprehensive and full plan, a true STAR here is Chay! We have been to many dentist offices with our little guy who has had a rough teeth journey and Chay's level of fun, care, compassion, and excitement is not comparable to anyone else we have encountered. Regardless of how the rest of the appointment could have gone we were sold immediately due to her being our first impression in the back office, great front office gals as well. Thank you, Chay for being awesome!

Negative experience: It was absolutely horrible ! We have been coming here for 14 years and because we were unable to pay for x-rays they would not just bill us and put a filling in that fell out . They literally left her with a hole in her tooth and we were told to go to a general dentist . If this turns into needing a root canal i will contact the better business bureau and this Dr Lindsay Reed and she could have cared less! I am so disappointed in this place . Especially after coming here for years !

Fantastic experience: Our 4 year old boy and 1 year old girl had an awesome first experience. The staff was super friendly and welcoming and the office was one of the most kid friendly places we have seen. I would highly recommend for anyone with kids, particularly small kids, looking for dental care. St. louis Pediatric’s created a positive experience for our children.

Fantastic experience: We took our almost three year old daughter to the dentist here for the first time and they were amazing! The dental hygienist was so wonderful with her and the dentist was also great. They made it a fun positive experience, I was so impressed and have already recommended them to multiple people.

Negative experience: I strongly recommend doing your research on pediatric dentists before making an appointment. Are proposed treatment plan between this office and another one I picked are substantially different. We would of been charged double the amount after insurance if we stayed at this office. Nothing was explained either. The hygienists and front desk staff are nice however, you may want to look around before making a final decision.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this place! The staff is absolutely amazing and very patient with kiddos that are nervous. This has been our dentist for three here now and we will continue to use this for years to come.

Negative experience: The hygienist here was incredible at helping my toddler at her first ever dental appointment. She let her interact and touch and have her own little toothpaste during the cleaning portion. Then “Dr” Lindsey Reed walked in, and everything exploded. She ripped out of her hand the toothbrush and toothpaste just given to her to explore with—the exact thing that built so much trust with the hygienist. When my daughter cried and clung to me instead of wanting to lay down on the exam table Lindsey said, . -“Hold her down, I’m going to open her mouth and by the way her legs need to be around you so she doesn’t kick me.” When I said we were leaving, she responded with “it’s against Missouri state law to make an appointment and not get seen.” Disgusting words in response to my toddlers anxiety by “Dr” Lindsey Reed. It’s shameful this practice is still open. Her license to practice needs revoked.

Fantastic experience: We have been taking our girls to St. Louis Pediatric Dentistry since our oldest was a year old, almost 8 years, and they have been wonderful! The staff is friendly and great with kids. When the girls were tiny the staff was careful to make sure the girls had a positive experience so that they didn't dread going to the dentist. We have had all 3 dentists at the Des Peres location and they were all great. I think they even let you schedule with your favorite if you want, but we've never felt the need. If you have a little one that needs to start going to the dentist, I highly recommend trying St. Louis Pediatric Dentistry!

Fantastic experience: I brought my two year old son here for his second visit and it was phenomenal. We saw Dr. Evan Reed. He was super kind and friendly - my son was instantly put at ease and felt comfortable showing his teeth. Our dental hygienist Mariah was absolutely amazing. She was so sweet to my son and made the experience special by allowing my son to brush his special stuffed animal’s “teeth” after the cleaning. The dental professionals here are wonderful with kids - I really can’t recommend this pediatric dentistry enough.

My 4 and 5 year old actually LOVE going to the dentist and can’t wait for our next visit. Thank you for your child-centered communication, thorough explanations, and gentle direction. Positive experience: I felt like the office was run down a bit and could use some repairs paint etc . the dental assistant we had was pretty rough and not very chipper . the kids all said it hurt and they have never complained of it hurting before . was kinda slow getting to see the doc but the dentist that we seen was wonderful ! very sweet and knowledgeable . I prefer the chesterfield location .

Fantastic experience: Recently I took my son for his cleaning. We have been going to Dr. Evan Reed for 10 years and every time has been a good experience. The staff is friendly and they always explain first what they are doing. They are courteous and Dr.Evan Reed is a top notch professional who cares about his clients. I would recommend pediatric dentistry to everyone.

Fantastic experience: Have loved STL PED DEN since my daughter was just 2 yrs old. She’ll be 13 this summer and still enjoy every visit with both my son and daughter. Nurses are top notch, environment is clean and friendly!

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars I would. Long story short, they filled many of my daughters teeth. Within 2 months, two of the fillings fell out. They are simply an assembly line there and your child is just a number to them, that's all. Go somewhere else if you can and spare your wallet, your sanity, and your child. My daughter ended up having to get one of the two teeth pulled due to their poor work. Unfortunately we will now forever be dealing with dental trauma. Again, would give zero stars if I could. They're nothing but a sham.

Fantastic experience: We always have a great experience. They have been great with my younger daughter who typically takes a while to warm up to the idea of being examined once we’re in the office. They’re very patient and kind.

Fantastic experience: We have had great experiences here. The hygienists are so kind and gentle with my kids. My oldest was very anxious when first starting with the dentist and they were so accompanying and gentle with him.

They were patient and kind and I was so happy with our visit and I am sure I made the right choice for a dentist for my kids. Between the docter, the hygienist and the receptionist they were all so nice and it was a fantastic experience

Negative experience: Kids of 3 year old will be always scared of dental equipment and it’s doctors assistant responsibility to make them comfortable. But doctor assistants at this location never try to talk and make them feel comfortable, not even a smile. even assistants at adult dentistry are much more friendly than these ppl. I will never take my kid here and make her uncomfortable.

Fantastic experience: This was the 3 try at a dentist for our son Logan. OMG the WHOLE staff is so amazing & the office was great for kids! We LOVE our Assistant Summer & Dr. Danielle so much!!! Logan completed his appointment & is excited to come back in 6 months!! ❤️Thank You So Much❤️

Fantastic experience: We have been taking all four children for a couple of years. They are the best dealing with children and so compassionate. The visits are efficient, it’s always clean and everyone is great from the moment you enter the office. Right through leaving with , prizes and new brushes.

Fantastic experience: Everyone’s been friendly and accommodating. Dr Jamie is amazing. But what mattered to my “mommy heart” the most is how the whole team made sure that my son wouldn’t feel so traumatized with his dental procedures particularly with his first dental extraction. He was well taken cared off every single time and I think that was why, we, parents, weren’t so worried as well. Kudos!

Fantastic experience: Have 2 girls with Autism, and this place is amazing! Bit my girls feel safe and the staff are wonderful working around my girls sensory issues. Always cone out with no tears and excitement for the prizes they get in the end. Thank you team!

Fantastic experience: We love it here. Nicest staffed dentist office we have been to. Always makes my kid feel super comfortable and never scared. Not to mention, he always looks forward to the popsicle at the end .

Fantastic experience: Our whole experience was great! We needed a few different things done on our kid but they made it much easier than we expected. They kept our kid as calm and relaxed as possible and got everything they needed to so done. The nurse treated our kid as her own and was so sweet. The doctor was very thorough and was very patient and kind. The anesthesia team was awesome as well. Just an overall good experience and I’m glad we chose them.

Fantastic experience: We absolutely love St. Louis Pediatric Dentistry. Our son has had excellent experiences here for cleanings and cavities. He is never nervous about going to the dentist and the whole team is extremely kind and accommodating. The entire office is made to keep kids comfortable and they are also great at informing parents, too.

Negative experience: I went here for a couple of years, but recently, I brought my 10 month old daughter to them and clearly told them no fluoride needs to be apply on her because we scheduled doctors appointments to do so after she is one year old. They still charged that and I never received a statement for that. Until recently I found out this information and called them, they said their doctor said it was applied to her. Super disappointed, we are going through the claim appeal process, and going to consult a lawyer for this. Apparently this office does not care about patients feedback or complaints.

Fantastic experience: This was our first visit with both of our kids and it was awesome!! My oldest(9) was a little nervous going in to the visit and same with our youngest(4). They made the girls feel comfortable and not anxious, very smooth and easy visit! When we left they were already asking when they get to go back and they told my oldest that she needed a filling and tooth extracted, AND was still excited to go back! I was SHOCKED!! THANK YOU STL PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY!!

Fantastic experience: I was so impressed with this office. Everything is so thought out and designed with kiddos in mind. Raven was so great and patient during the cleaning, and Dr. Alli was helpful and kind. Honestly I have no idea how people take small children to dentists office that aren’t this one. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know!

Fantastic experience: We had a tooth emergency for our son and they were able to get us in ASAP! We were very appreciative he could be seen so quickly and thus we no longer had to stress about if something was seriously wrong with our little boy!

Fantastic experience: The staff at St. Louis Pediatric Dentistry are polite and friendly. Additionally, Dr. Evans is highly knowledgeable and pleasant to interact with. As a special treat at the end of the visit, they even provide cold treats, which my children thoroughly enjoy.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was so nice, professional, abd worked great with children. The whole process is a well oiled machine and moves very efficiently. And my kids loved the prizes at the end too! It was a great experience.

Negative experience: Went in to get my daughter’s spacer removed, doctor came in for less than two mins and said it needed to stay and that if her Ortho wanted it out, he could take it out. I then went to check out and I was charged for a dental exam that was NOT given. Her teeth were not examined, checked for decay or other issues and I was told I had to pay over $100 for those two mins and no exam. I then asked if I could get the exam if I’m being billed for it and they said they did not have the time to see her and that I would have to come back at a later time. This evening she saw her Orthodontist and he said that she no longer needs the spacer and that I would have to have her pediatric dentist take it out. ‍♀️ Overall, I am super disappointed and would not recommend this practice.

Negative experience: 10/10 would not recommend. Dr. Evan’s dental assistant chipped my daughters front tooth filling while doing a routine cleaning and he did not care AT ALL when I brought the concern up to him. They deleted my previous review so I’m here to post about it again. After days of arguing with the staff and driving up to their office, Dr. Lindsay Reed finally agreed to fix the tooth filling. My daughter left this office saying “I guess I won’t smile any more”. Very disheartening how little they care. My child was nothing but a number to them.

Fantastic experience: *Update:We had our second visit with St.Louis Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Danielle and the staff continued with their excellent care we received with our first visit. We left with lots of goodies and a big smile! This was our first visit to the dentist. All of the staff were very knowledgeable and kind. Dr. Danielle was great with our apprehensive child. She was very thorough and showed us how to brush our son’s teeth when he won’t let us. We are looking forward to our next visit with Dr. Danielle in 6 months.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, I have to revise my five stars to one due to the latest encounter. I truly do not like giving negative feedback unless it is indeed warranted. Cancelling less than an hour before the appointment for no legitimate reason was beyond unprofessional. The lack of decorum and empathy for the inconvenience that it caused was jarring. I previously provided 5 stars when my daughter was being seen by Dr. Lindsey, which I truly believe that this incident would not had occurred if we were not switched to her husband. The decent thing to do would have been to see my daughter and then have the conversation of her going elsewhere. Dr. Evan did not even have the decency to call me himself, very cowardly. We never missed an appointment, nor was late, or had an outstanding balance. Very shameful, unprofessional, and unethical actions because they definitely would have charged me a cancellation fee if I cancelled my appointment an hour prior.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience for our first dentist appointment with our 20-month old. We worked with Abby and Dr. Danielle. Both were sweet, patient, and fun which made for a very comfortable and fulfilling visit for our curious little one. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: This office is always friendly and efficient. We appreciate the team's patience with my daughters when they are nervous. We have seen two of the providers and both took time to answer any questions from both parent and child.

Negative experience: The hygienist was NOT thorough with my son who has braces. He's also not a good brusher, but the hygienist only spending 5-10 minutes cleaning did not help matters at all. He's now having big issues. Glad we switched to a new dental practice.

Fantastic experience: Took both my kids here. I was very pleased with the service at the front desk. Both ladies were welcoming and personable. The office is kid friendly. When we were taken back, all the technicians, hygienists, and dentist were great! All were very patient with my talkative son and timid daughter. After the visit the kids received a popsicle, balloon, a toy, and a dental hygiene kit. My kids left in a good mood and left with cavity free mouths.

Fantastic experience: First time bringing my children, yes 2 kids 3 and under, to the dentist and not once thinking about the consequences of doing this by myself; Everyone in the office handled me and my crying kids with grace and smiles and worked with and around my toddler's unwillingness to participate in the appointment. St. Louis Pediatric knew how to talk and work with my toddler to end the appointment on a great note of lying on the chair while they counted teeth! The best part for my child was the popsicle and balloon at sign out.

Fantastic experience: Today was our 2 yr olds first dental appointment and everyone was extremely welcoming and friendly. They were patient with him and loved getting a new toothbrush and balloon. We would definitely recommend this office.

Fantastic experience: We could have only just given the clinic 4 star because the design and ambience of their lobby (even the rooms where procedures are performed) a bit not child-centered. However what makes it a cut from the rest (thus earning our 5-stars) is the dental assistant’s excellent customer service. Out of 10, we would definitely give Dental Assistant Erika an 11. The same goes also for the dentist.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was so nice. The assistant was super sweet. My son is almost 3 and, of course, will not do anything he doesn't want to do. And the Dr Reassured me that that was normal for his age group. The best part, according to my son, was the gift bag he Received (the toothbrush toothpaste and flossers. ) He loved them and would not put them down for the rest of the day. He wanted to take his prizes to bed with him

Fantastic experience: Dr Danielle and Chelsea were amazing with our son. He is autistic with sensory issues and Chelsea was so kind and patient with him!! We have never had such a wonderful dental experience!!

Fantastic experience: We had a very positive experience with Dr. Jane Witt. This was our first visit and my son was very anxious having his tooth extracted. Dr. Witt listened to his concerns and they came up with a plan together to make him feel comfortable moving forward. My son was so happy afterwards and we finally have a dentist he looks forward to seeing! He says she's an 11 out of 10!!

Fantastic experience: Everyone is amazing, from the receptionists to the hygienists, to the dentists! My children are 2 and 4 years old, and this is the perfect place for a successful dentist appointment. The waiting room has books, video games, and movies playing. The actual exam rooms have screens the kiddos can see when they're laying down. The billing and scheduling process has been seamless every visit. I found St. Louis Pediatric Dentistry serendipitously, as it was the closest pediatric dentist covered by my insurance, and I'm so glad that I did!

Fantastic experience: Patient and understanding of little ones. I took my 16 month old for his very first visit. They showed him all their tools and let him touch them. While he didn't get a cleaning, they were able to quickly and gently check his teeth and apply fluoride. He received a rubber ducky which he loves and a ballon that he enjoyed.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to ped dentistry for years now and I am still amazed how their they treat all patients and their parents. They make sure we are happy with the appointment and relaxed. My kids don't mind going because they are treated with respect

Negative experience: The experience for my grandchildren was great. The comments from the dentist afterwards was rude, disrespectful and uncalled for. The bill to get their teeth taken care of was over 10k. No big deal, I want the best for them. However, they want to "outsource" all of the work, so I am not sure why I am paying for services through a third party. Now back to the dentist. Stating to my daughter that their teeth are the way they are due to their environment. I'm sorry, who are you to judge my family? We live in Kirkwood, pay our own bills and have a comfortable lifestyle. What you don't know is the struggle my daughter has been dealing with since the loss of a son and husband. Taking care of her family is her #1 priority. I watched as patients rolled in like a factory, that's great. You are well compensated, however your bedside manners are atrocious. I'm guessing you felt throwing a 10k bill would deter them away so you can feel justified by your comments and rudeness towards MY family. Walk a mile in someone else's shoes before you judge them. No worries, Dr. Ellis is now taking care of them and we found a great orthodontist that is handling all of the surgical needs they require. The amazing fact is 70% of the quote you provided wasn't necessary work and for around 2k per grand child they are getting the care they not only need but deserve and treated in a passionate matter.

Fantastic experience: I've been bringing my children here for years and they are amazing. Really kind. They have flavors, that you can choose from, of toothpaste to put on your teeth and they take x-rays of your teeth to see what baby teeth you have and see the condition of your teeth. There's a movie you can watch while you do it. And it's just amazing!

The treats at the end were a huge bonus, and had her asking when she could come back. Check in and check out were seamless, just an overall really great experience.

Negative experience: We have been coming here for a few years now and we love the dentist and dental hygienist staff. They are always so great with the boys and my concerns. Today was the first horrible experience I have had with this office. I have never owed anything and today was the first time at check out that they told me I owed something. I tried to explain to her that the benefits she was quote are incorrect and I understand insurance this is something I do all day is insurance benefits. So was very rude and was not willing to help me at all. She just stood there and looked at me like I was trying to cheat her. She made so uncomfortable and because of her we will not be back at all.

Fantastic experience: My son had his first dental visit today (3yrs old). He is a very cautious and shy kid and they were extremely patient with him!! We couldn’t even get him to lay or sit down so the hygienist was able to clean his teeth while he was standing!! He was very excited to get his balloon and popsicle when he was done too!!
