Fantastic experience: Dr. Gutierrez has been an amazing dentist to all my kids, but she has worked some magic on my two year old who has had issues and a major fall. It is always in her best interest to fix issues with care and compassion. Thank you Dr. Gutierrez!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely adore this doctor! She and her staff are one of a kind! My daughter is terrified of the dentist, however dental assistants are always trying to play and talk to her. They interact with the kids and they’re all so kind. Would recommend to absolutely anyone!

Fantastic experience: The whole staff is so wonderful!

Negative experience: I don’t recommend the office. The staff is bad at reading treatment notes and communication within each other especially the OLDER dentist is she rude and disrespectful. They will not forward dental records to new providers or past dental records. They should be questioned over the HIPAA Privacy Rule as there is no soft speaking or barriers to protect patients privacy, and Dental exams beds are 2 feet from each other. On my last visit my child had pain from treatment and Dentist Was rude and rolling her eyes at me and thought As unprofessional, she was acting she was still going to work on my daughter’s teeth. She did not even take her time to read the treatment notes and check her bite and Proceeded to ask me About the treatment rather than going And asking the dentist assistant of the reason why my child is back in the first place. When I answered her questions regarding the treatment and she didn’t like the answers I gave her she started to be disrespectful quickly picking a fight like a child and thinking like she had to correct me on something rather then focus on her job. They always rush through visits also. Before she could even touch my child, I stopped her and took my child to a professional Specialist instead where I should’ve had her in the first place. When they reach out they didn’t even recommend anything for my daughters pain or cause of discomfort that only proved to me they don’t care and I made the right decision. Even my child was upset of the dental staff especially the Older dentist.

Positive experience: The dentist are nice but the rest of the staff act like you’re an inconvenience. The people that answer the phones are rude too.

Fantastic experience: The best place to take your children.Everyone who works here is very professional and great with children. My kiddos love it here and are not afraid when it's their dental appt day. .

Fantastic experience: Excellent. We started coming here since our baby had his first recommended dental visit. We have always had the most amazing experience here. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else. They do so well with our child who has autism. 10 out of 10 in our book!

Negative experience: Some of the techs are amazing. Im not happy with this Dentist. Made my child sit through over 20 minutes for a simple procedure and used needles when we were told they were unnecessary. Having his mouth clamped open for long periods is just out of the question for a child. Find a dentist that does short sessions instead. My 5yo was extremely patient for a child. The dentist was rude in front of him multiple times after he was very brave, patient and sweet to them. That was a horrible experience. Do not recommend. They used to be good and have done well for routine stuff. Not for this tho 0 stars

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience here with my son and will be taking my younger daughter when she’s old enough as well. We didn’t have to wait very long once we checked in for our appointment. Overall we were in and out within half an hour. Any other toddler moms out there know how great it is to get in and out quickly before your little one gets cranky. Everyone was so patient with my son who was of course scared to be at his first dentist appointment. The ladies in the room with us while we waited for the doctor were so wonderful with him he barely cried at all after the first few minutes in there. Dr Gourmley was amazing. She answered all the questions I had and thoroughly addressed all the concerns I had with his teeth going in. I left feeling confident with everything she’d told me.

Negative experience: Usually we dont have issues here, but today I was really bothered by one of the hygienists. If you go to Gormley and Gutierrez pediatric dentistry, and you have a child on the spectrum that has a hard time sitting still or following directions, I recommend you ask to NOT have Savannah the hygienist work with your child(ren). She showed me today that she not only has an attitude, but had no patience for my son when he was taking xrays and had a hard time holding still for his xrays to be done. At one point she grabbed his face to make sure he stayed still (not too aggressive but told him to stay still). I raised my voice enough where she could hear me say "he's probably not going to be able to sit still like last time because it's hard for him to do so", she ignores me and continues to tell him "dont move, don't move, dont move, you're moving!, I said dont move. You did it last time, so stay still!". You could just hear in her tone that she was getting frustrated and that really ticked me off. She was nicer to my other two younger children since they stayed still, but if you're going to be impatient with children who have a hard time, you should seek a different profession. Also telling stories of how rude you are to other people about simply moving your car during construction just doesn't look well on you (or professional) during a client cleaning. Maybe save the attitude for out of the office.

Fantastic experience: My two year old is a patient at Gormley & Gutierrez and it’s always a simple and easy experience! Their staff always work so quickly which is great!! My child normally cries and doesn’t like going to the dentist but they work so quickly it makes the experience manageable. They also have a little turtle sanctuary! While we waited for the dentist after the cleaning, we got to spend time there, watching the turtles walk around. It was a wonderful distraction and a fun way to pass the time. The staff are incredibly sweet and attentive. They tried to make my child feel comfortable and at ease, which is so important. Overall I highly recommend this pediatric dentist office and their staff.

Fantastic experience: We have been coming here for 9 yrs, and they have always been friendly to use. The staff is patient and very kind. I recommend this dentistry for your kiddos anytime.

Negative experience: If your military stay away from here. They will tell you things are covered by insurance and then charge you. They will take advantage of military member and their insurance. It’s also clear they don’t take time to do procedures. They did a procedure and messed it up. I had to get it fixed the next day by another doctor in Alamogordo. They only care about making a profit.

Negative experience: If you have Tricare please double check your own insurance as they will attempt to give you crowns that are not covered by insurance and will not tell you about it until afterwards. Terrible experience overall. Very condescending tone and was pushing for putting our 3 year old through anesthesia when it was not necessary.

Fantastic experience: We had the best experience here this morning with my 3 year old. The dental assistants and hygienists went above and beyond to help her feel comfortable and safe. Dr. Gormley was so kind to both of us, and did not make me feel small or uncomfortable in the slightest bit. The receptionist was kind and welcoming. We will definitely go back!

Fantastic experience: I have a 3yr old, and these people were so kind, gentle and professional!!! I wish I could give higher stars!! We went in for a referral to proceed with fillings and capping for my child. They scheduled the procedure before I left. They even scheduled her physical for me. We are in Ruidoso and the 2 hr trip was well worth it

My daughter who is 2 had the quickest cleaning. The nurses were super gentle with her and the Dentist was super sweet! Highly recommend bringing your child(ren) here!

Fantastic experience: Right as we walked in I couldn’t help but notice the “welcome new patients” board, it was a great personal touch that made us feel welcomed and special. Staff was extremely friendly with my baby, he waved at almost every staff member and everyone took their time to stop and say hello. Dr.Gormely was gentle, took her time and also answered all my questions. I instantly noticed the clean waiting and clinic area. Thank you doctor and staff for making our first dentist experience a pleasant one.

Fantastic experience: A Truly Exceptional Experience for Our Daughter with ASD and ADHD Dental visits have always been incredibly difficult for our daughter due to her ASD and ADHD. Her last experience at a different clinic overseas was traumatic—she had to be restrained by four people to get a tooth removed, which left her fearful and anxious about any future visits. This time, we were absolutely blown away by the care, patience, and professionalism of the entire team at this clinic. From the moment we walked in, Dr. Gormley and her team took the time to explain every tool and step in a way our daughter could understand. They never rushed, and they made sure she felt safe and in control throughout the entire process. Thanks to their calm and thoughtful approach, she was compliant, comfortable, and completed a molar extraction and a dental filling with no issues at all. We are beyond grateful for the compassion and understanding shown to our daughter—it made all the difference. Highly recommended for families with neurodivergent children. This team gets it.

Fantastic experience: We always have a good experience when we come to Gormley and Gutierrez. The staff is so friendly. They are all so good with my kids. I have 8 kids and they are always very quick and efficient. We have to drive two hours to come here and it is well worth it. I know my kids are in good hands.

Negative experience: Made an appointment for my one year old for his first dentist appointment, and they wouldn't allow both my husband and I to attend the appointment. We canceled and went with another pediatric dentist who would allow us to both attend.

Fantastic experience: Always quick service! You will not be waiting for your appointment, Dr. Gormley and her staff will get you x-rayed, cleaned, and consulted in record time! Both my children were seen almost simultaneously! In and out in less than 45 minutes! They are really kid friendly and love their jobs.

Fantastic experience: We were referred here for my son’s hypoplasia after a pretty traumatic previous experience. (Nobody’s fault, just was what it was). Martha and the rest of the staff were so patient and amazing. Took the time to explain everything to him more than once, helped him calm down and kept him reassured the entire time. Dr. Gormely is amazing and her staff is a direct representation of that! She treated my son and made recommendations as if he was her own, and as a parent it doesn’t get better than that. My daughter was so afraid to get anything done (xrays, cleaning, etc.) but Dr. Gormley and Ms. Ally were so very patient with her. By the time we left, my daughter felt like a pro. Fantastic experience: After traumatic dentistry from a different office, my daughter was very afraid to go to the dentist. We came to G&G on a referral and it was literally one of the best decisions we ever made. When you walk in the door, it’s inviting for children. The staff is lovely, and really care. The work done on my daughter was top notch and with minimal discomfort! I could cry tears of joy and such relief that my daughter was handled with such attentiveness and with what felt like genuine care. If I could give more stars, I would.

Their staff is very efficient and friendly and they accommodated us with an unscheduled tooth fix because we live out of town which was so nice that we didn't have to make another trip most places would have made us schedule another appointment so i appreciated that very much. Fantastic experience: Second time visiting the dentist with our toddler and can’t say enough good things about the staff! The lady who did x-rays was so awesome that we were actually successful and then even made sure to show us the in the courtyard! Savannah was amazing and even brushed our stuffie Pua’s teeth to help calm any nerves! Thanks for a GREAT visit! Apparently I never posted our previous visit but we just had another cleaning, this time with Mya, and she was also excellent and patient with our tentative 4yo. Very happy with this office!

Fantastic experience: My daughter’s dentist was out of the office so her dentists office recommended Dr Gutierrez and Dr Gormley. They were able to get her in same day and get my daughter out of pain. I really appreciate them being able to get my daughter in same day.

Fantastic experience: The staff was very helpful and friendly. The doctor was amazing & fast. My six-year-old actually said he had the best day of his life! That’s definitely something to say after getting your first baby root canal!!

Negative experience: I had to cancel for my daughter’s surgical procedure in 2019 when the pandemic started, and last minute her father did not get her back in time. Fast forward to 2025, I call because my daughter needs to have a tooth pulled and it’s causing her a substantial amount of pain which the dentist who referred her told them as well as myself. After spending wayyy more time then necessary on hold he came back on and informed me that because in 2019 we had to cancel our surgery at last minute due to something I could do nothing about, they would not treat my daughter. He was rude, crude, and unprofessional. I would not suggest Dr.Gormley or the practice to any parents I know. It is purely money driven.

Fantastic experience: Best Pediatric Dental office in town!! Dolores and Nancy were our dental assistants and they were very thorough and interactive with my daughter! Front staff, Monica, Veronica and Velia were friendly and attentive. My daughter is 13 and I gave her the option to see a general dentist but she chose to stay at your office. I must add that both dentist are great and if you want excellent dental care for your little one's, Dr's Gormley and Gutierrez are by far the best in town!! My daughter has seen both dentist and she's been a patient since she was 10 months!!

Positive experience: The time in and out was ok… staff was decent. Dr. Gormley was fine also. The thing that’s upsetting is only allowing one parent at a time. Let people know when they make the appointment in the first place. My husband drove an hour round trip for nothing to be told he can’t come in. Let both parents be involved in their children’s health appointments…

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend them for dental needs for your kids. I took my son (17 months) there to get a treatment for his teeth and they were so kind and patient with him. He was screaming during the exam but they were quick and efficient. They have an area in the back where they have a bunch of turtles for the kids to look at. We will definitely be making to trip back to them for his follow up.

Fantastic experience: I will absolutely be going back. I’ve been to many family dentists and my kids hate it every time and have had bad experiences. I have learned my lesson and a pediatric dentist is the way to go. Dr. Gormley was SO SO patient with my son and for the first time when leaving the dentist office my son said he trusts her and would come back. This is a huge win.

Fantastic experience: This place is great. Their staff is so friendly and they are so patient with the little ones. My 3 year old cries a lot but staff here make him feel better and are so playful with him. Whats also great about this place is that I can schedule the next appointment that same day and get notified by text or email on their following appointment. A bonus for me is that some of the staff are bilingual and they talk to my kids in English and Spanish.
