Fantastic experience: My 2 yr old son had his first dentist appointment yesterday. The staff was so friendly and the dentist was so good with my son. She sang to him thru the entire cleaning and he was so calm! I definitely recommend *** 2024 review. Still love this place. Dr Bobby and Dr Tinker are awesome. All the staff super friendly, my 3 and almost 7 year old do amazing here. X-rays, cleanings and exams, they are the best. Daughter had trauma to face and they got us in same day, been over a year since incident. X-ray every time, super caring. Highly recommend **** 2025 review Still absolutely love this place. Fantastic experience: We Love Shine Pediatric Dentistry! Everyone is so kind and very helpful. We never feel pushed to do anything our kids aren’t comfortable doing, they are so good about making my kids feel welcome and safe and help them feel at ease. We try to stay away from fluoride and they have never made us feel bad about that, they offer some really great alternatives and are happy to help us! They are gentle and caring and we have been so blessed by them! My kids love all the activities they always have going on there for every holiday, lots of contests, and ways to win prizes. We saw Bri and Dr Tinker today and they are both so great! We have been going there a few years and we love to see how much they love to pour into charities and the local community! It really sets them apart. Very blessed to be patients there, just wish they could take us adults too!!

Fantastic experience: Just moved to the area from out of state. My daughter’s 6 month check up was not for another month but I had some concerns about pain she was having in her mouth. They got me scheduled same day! I walked in and was blown away. It’s an entire experience, not just a dentist. They make going to the dentist fun for the kiddos. Shine offers a Happt Visit for kids to come in and get comfortable with the office, see the tools, and dental hygienist without having "work" done. It really helped him overcome his fears. Fantastic experience: We’ve been taking our two kids to Shine Pediatric Dentistry for the past six years, and we really love the staff. My ten year old daughter has special needs. I appreciate their inclusivity and patience making sure she has a great experience. We know many other special needs families who struggle with dental work, driving far away and sedating their kids for minimal work like cleanings. But my daughter does so great with the staff and Dr. Bobby. I’m so grateful for the peace she feels in their office. We also love that Shine is a Christian practice, and I feel this contributes to the calm my daughter feels when she visits. We love the decor, the bubble walls, the prize reinforcement each visit, and the games upstairs. My kids are always happy to go to the dentist. This place is the best!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic dentist! Everyone, from the office staff, to the hygienist, to the dentists are phenomenal! Everyone is so kind, warm, and gentle. This dentist is so accommodating, and their gentle touch, calmness, and patience is exactly what our special needs daughter and son with sensory issues needs to feel comfortable going to the dentist. They seem to have accomplished an impossible task. Making our kids actually WANT to go to the dentist. It doesn't hurt that their waiting area is basically an arcade. Every kids dream!

Fantastic experience: I’ve never known a kid that loves going to the dentist as much as my 4 yr old son loves going to Shine! Every visit is handled with such care and gentleness from the entire staff. We moved across the city and will continue to make the drive to Shine because we love them!

Negative experience: It's been a long while but at times the experience I had still sits with me. And I am typically just try and let things go because I know that businesses deal with a lot. I have read many of the good reviews and it is great that this office is seemingly a great one, however with my experience it was anything but that. I felt very, very, profiled from one of the front office ladies. I don't want to post names and I don't know if I even remember the name, but she was taller and had shorter blondish hair. She was very forward as soon as I set foot in that office that they will be requiring my payment up front. I hadn't even had my appointment yet. It might of been because I came more dressed down? As someone who works in corporate, I dress up everyday for work and wanted to be comfortable for an ortho appt/consult. I just felt like my interaction with her was very unfriendly and ungraceful especially for an office that promotes Christianity which is something that drew me to them. She did not give a personality that care about all the patients that walk through, only the ones she chooses. I wanted to bring my daughter here to establish thinking it would be nice to have her do her routine visits while I had ortho if I had decided to choose them, and did not want to right after I met with the front office lady.

Fantastic experience: Edit: Still a very amazing place. My oldest kiddo has his braces done here and my youngest kiddo is going through the same thing with braces. They love coming here and everyone is awesome. The front office ladies are super sweet and very helpful with anything you may need. We love this place. We've been taking both kids since they were toddlers. The staff is always so friendly, kind, inviting and always a pleasure to work with them.

My son has an extremely hard time with the dentist, we have been coming to Shine for a few years now, he just had his follow up appointment for his last treatment, and because of the way they treat us, my son was able to sit in the chair for the first time with no medication! My daughter had to get 2 teeth pulled and I had my other toddler with me and I needed to be with her, so another staff member offered to keep him occupied. Sold we will be patients until my kids age out. Such a great place overall. The doctor pulled her teeth in under 20 seconds he was fast patient and respectful 10/10!! I have never been so pleased with a doctor visit!

Fantastic experience: I have been taking my children here to see Dr. Bobby & Dr. Jon for many years and want to take the time to let others know how much I love this dentist/ortho office and appreciate their care. I have felt they are "conservative" in treatment, placing a watch on problem areas and telling my kids where to focus their flossing rather than filling right away. At time's we have tried alternative treatments for problem areas that didn't involve fillings. Even for my little guy who needed a crown, they made sure he left feeling okay to return the next time They truly focus on making the kids comfortable and happy. Dr. Jon has transformed my daughter's smile with braces and we look forward to getting them off soon! Wonderful/Professional/Caring office and the kids think it's a blast to visit!

Fantastic experience: We’ve been coming to Shine Pediatric Dentistry for a few years now, and we’ve always had a great experience. The staff is friendly, patient, and truly amazing with kids. Most recently, my 5-year-old son had to get a cavity filled, and I was a little nervous about how he would handle it. But the dentist was absolutely wonderful—calm, gentle, and so good at explaining everything in a way that made my son feel comfortable and safe. He left the appointment smiling and proud of himself, which says so much about the care he received. I’m so grateful to have found a dental office that makes these visits such a positive experience for both kids and parents!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! I have just all positive to say about this place. The atmosphere, all workers from the front to back office are amazing. Love the kids play area big plus! So glad I did my research and found them when I moved to the area a year ago! Getting my 15 yr old sons braces here and starting my 1 year old first visit this month.

I did not feel pushed into anything, rather was given advice to “wait and grow” and revisit orthodontics in another year! Really appreciate the staff and time they took.

We were drawn to them because they are a Christian based business that helps and provides charity to those in need. They run their business in a kind, patient, honest and loving manner. We will never switch. They are located an hour away but the drive is worth it. You will not be disappointed in the care your child receives at Shine!

Fantastic experience: We have been going to Shine for 8 years. We absolutely love them! My kids get so excited to go to the dentist because they have crated such a wonderful, warm, fun environment. And everyone that works there (front office, staff, dentists) is so kind and welcoming. I wish they treated adults too!

Fantastic experience: We LOVE Shine! Both of my daughters have been going here since their teeth came in. We were referred by my niece and nephew who are also patients there, and I have since also referred my coworkers and friends to this practice. We’ve had some bigger procedures done like extractions, spacers, etc and the staff has always done an amazing job of making sure our girls are comfortable during exams and procedures.
