This office is the definition of what I would want for a pediatric dentist! And buddy the therapy dog is just an incredible bonus ❤️ Update 5 years later and 4 more kids, still the same review. Incredible team through and through. They’re patient and kind. They are helpful with each kid and the different personalities. They graciously walked each kid through how to improve their brushing. We loved the space theme they have this year; everyone dressed as astronauts, colored lights and solar system hanging from the ceiling, and meeting Buddy the dog was extra special! I’m so happy to have found this place! Even my little ones that are usually nervous warmed up and felt comfortable so quickly here!

Fantastic experience: There truly is no better pediatric dentist! Dr. Kwak and his team make the entire experience fun, interactive, and SO easy from start to finish! For Halloween week, the whole office was decorated and the staff all dressed the part for this year’s NASA theme. They are very thorough while getting us in and out quickly. From the 2 TVs in every room so they can watch a show, to the blankets they offer to keep warm and cozy. And the bonus and best treat, BUDDY the therapy dog that goes around for comforting pets. Fantastic experience: He’s truly the best dentist! All three of my girls go to him with varying dentistry needs and we couldn’t be happier. We’ve had emergencies that have been handled with immediacy and he doesn’t recommend any work that isn’t necessary. They’re comfortable with Dr. Kwak and we’re confident in what he shares and explains to us. The staff are all wonderful too and he has a sweet pup that’s the office mascot!

She was offered a cozy blanket, got to watch Netflix during her visit, and was given so many fun toys afterward. The biggest hit was definitely the office therapy dog—she loved it! This was her very first dental appointment, and I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to dental care. The environment is warm, welcoming, and completely kid-friendly. I was worried that my daughter would not do well when we first start going at age 3, but they made her feel so relaxed and and comfortable that I have never had to worry. And seeing Buddy the therapy dog is the best part of the visit! ☺️

Fantastic experience: I took my six year old in and they had to pull two of her teeth. Yes I know. I feel the mom guilt! Buddy, their support dog hopped up her chair and she absolutely love it! She felt nothing and came home and played with friends a few hours later. Such a great dentist and a loving place for children to get dental work. I prayed for the right dentist and walked in and saw the support pup and they were playing peaceful music and some Christian music as well. This place is a blessing. FYI….if your child doesn’t like dogs they will make that known in a respectful way and your child will be just fine!

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best pediatric dentist office! Dr. Kwak and his team are so kind, knowledgeable and always make my family feel welcome. Everything is well explained and I always leave feeling like Dr.Kwak genuinely cares about my children's dental health. My children love it as well because they get to see the office dog Buddy and watch a show of their choice on tv while getting their teeth cleaned. I tried another dentist after Dr.Kwak's office stopped taking my insurance, but one visit elsewhere and I immediately knew that we'd be returning to League City Pediatric Dentistry. They are truly an awesome place with awesome staff!

Fantastic experience: For all my mommas feeling anxious about your littles going to the dentist. Dr. Kwak is hands down the best pediatric dentist in town! He’s super attentive, informative, and most importantly, very patient with our littles (reassuring them when they get work done). They always answer all of my questions and never rush to get us out of there. The entire staff makes you feel welcomed. Truly recommend. Ps. They have a waiting area full of fun things for the kiddos. I also have to mention Buddy (therapy dog), always greeting everyone and making sure the kiddos are at ease.

Fantastic experience: Every one in the office is so upbeat and friendly! The hygenist was great with my little ones (2 & 4 years old). Dr. Kwak is very thorough and very kind. The first time there my son was scared but they brought in Buddy Astro (their therapy dog) and it calmed him right down. This morning my son did not get the toy he wanted, a slinky, out of the giant gumball machine toy dispenser while I was checking out after his cleaning. As we reached the car the woman who checked us out came running out to us to give him a slinky which absolutely made his day. I would absolutely recommend this practice to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist in the area.

Fantastic experience: This was not our first time there, we are delightfully surprised every time with the level of care we receive. Great, friendly staff that is very helpful! The clinic is very clean and has plenty of room for kids to play while they wait. Although, we didn’t have to wait long at all…that was my favorite part! Buddy is such a sweet surprise too…my daughter felt so at ease. He made the experience for her extra special.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kwak and his staff were amazing with my daughters! The office was clean, had toys, video games, and the girls were quickly seen. The girls did even better than their previous dentist. My 6 year old hesitated because of her sensory anxiety, but Dr. Kwak quickly adapted and came up with a solution. He was able to check her teeth. Suggested we try things at home to make her more comfortable and then come back the following week. My 3 year old daughter was able to do her x-rays, examination, and cleaning because the staff was quick but thorough. Dr. Kwak even said she had perfect teeth! Fantastic experience: We have 5 kids and this is by far the best pediatric dentist we have ever been to! They are all very friendly and make you feel comfortable. Not only does your child feel comfortable, but the parents do too. Some dentists stress me out with their bedside manner, but not here. The dog Buddy is amazing! He laid on my son’s lap the entire time they did his fillings!! My 18 year old daughter also thinks highly of them and wishes she could go here too!

Fantastic experience: We have been taking our children to Dr. Kwak since they were babies. He and the staff make each experience peaceful and wonderful (routine cleanings and fillings). His office is like a play place, complete with toys, video games, a tv w/ Netflix for every patient, and a prize at the end of every visit. We cannot imagine going to any other dentist. (Big perk- he supports the community by donating to our school every year as well!)

Fantastic experience: We have been looking for a new dentist for our 10 year old daughter since her previous dentist retired. We scheduled an appointment at a nearby office for the end of the month, but our daughter developed a toothache and needed an earlier evaluation. The other dental office refused to give us an earlier appointment, but Dr. Kwak's office staff were so helpful when I called and were able to get her seen within 24 hours. I was impressed by the entire team ... everyone from the front desk staff to the dental hygienist were so kind, organized, and professional. We were seen right away and had a very thorough evaluation by the dentist. Fantastic experience: I have 7 year old twins. One is strong and confident and the other is nervous, anxious and scared of the dentist. Dr. Kwak is amazing! He took my nervous and anxious twin and walked him through everything. Got down to his level and made him feel comfortable. Buddy (the therapy dog) eased him and the hygienist are so patient and soothing. This office is the best around and we will always refer more patients to them!

Fantastic experience: We had an amazing experience from the time we walked in the door to the time we walked out!! Everyone was so nice and good with my son. This was his first time at the dentist and it went phenomenal!! The play area at the front is so nice for keeping little ones entertained before being called back. Every person we encountered had a smile on their face and took the time to talk to my son. The dental hygienist, Jessica, explained everything she was going to do before doing it. He is 2 so getting him to sit still is hard, they were in the room so quickly so there was very little sitting and waiting. Dr. Kwak was very nice and also explained what he was going to do before doing it. My daughter was with us, she’s only 8 months old and no teeth, but they gave her a tooth brush as well. Then we go to check out since I had both my son and daughter one of the receptionists (I think she was) was going to help hold his hand to the truck. We couldn’t have had a better experience!!!

Fantastic experience: Honestly I loved it! We went there yesterday for the first time and it was amazing. My son never got a exam with a hygienist at his previous dentist but here he did! She was so sweet with my son also. The dentist himself was so professional. He let my son get acclimated into the environment before starting the exam as well. He had so much patience and was very informative with me every step of the way. Buddy the therapy dog is the sweetest pup ever❤️. The front desk staff were all wonderful. Filling out paperwork was a breeze. Once we were out they gave us a coin for the toy machine. My son even got stickers, a squirtle toy , sunglasses and a dental take home kit. 10/10 best decision ever. I'm so glad we switched to LCPD ❤️

Fantastic experience: I had taken my son to 2 different dentists already. None were nearly as thorough as League City Pediatric Dentistry was. Not only that, but everyone there was beyond kind. My son freaks out anytime he sees anyone dressed in any form of medical clothing and he did really well around everyone because the vibes were so inviting, friendly, and caring. 10/10.

Fantastic experience: I have been meaning to write a review since we came here in December. I cannot say enough good things about this office and my gratitude towards them! They are truly the BEST. My daughter is 4 and is very scared and non compliant at the dentist. I had researched and researched for the best pediatric dentist and after hearing such great things about this office we ended up here. They were amazing with my daughter. She ended up needed to be put under due to needing more extensive work done and being so non compliant(she won’t even open her mouth for a dentist to look at her teeth). Dr.Kwak and the anesthesia team were AMAZING. I was incredibly nervous,but couldn’t have asked for a better, more trustworthy,kind, “do what is best for the patient and parent” team. They made what wasn’t my most ideal situation the best case scenario. Dr.Kwak is understanding, calming, and truly cares about his patients. I was so impressed with his kindness,competency ,professionalism, everything! From the therapy dog “Buddy,” the toys in the waiting room, the decorations, the ornaments they gave out at Christmas, the big machine you can put a quarter in to get a prize- everything is so wonderful and makes it a great experience for kids. After researching and researching I won’t take my daughter anywhere else. They truly are the best( I have two other kids and have seen other pediatric dentists in the past due to different dental insurance previously and they don’t compare to this office!). If you are trying to find the best pediatric dentist for your kids, this is the place!

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience every time! My son had his first cavity filled today, he was so well taken care of. Everyone is friendly and it is clear that they work as a team. The dental assistants communicate with headsets and they operate flawlessly. While my son was set up for nitrous oxide and throughout the procedure there was always someone in the room monitoring him. He was so comfortable, they set him up with a blanket and TV on the ceiling. He is my most anxious child and the clinic's service dog Buddy was with him the whole time, he was in absolute peace. Dr. Kwak is incredibly kind and gentle with the kids, it is truly his calling to work in pediatrics. I'm very grateful for the care we have received, my kids look forward to going to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: Seriously the best experience I’ve ever had taking my children anywhere! All of the staff were so friendly and sweet. They made us feel so welcome and were so accommodating. It’s not easy taking a 3 year old and 4 month old out and they made this appointment so much less stressful than it could have been. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: My son is autistic and is very limited in his communication, we’ve been to 3 different offices and none were able to give him the care he needed and we left with traumatic experiences until we came here. We absolutely LOVE this office. Everyone here has been incredibly kind and gentle. They met my son where he was at..THIS is quality care at its best, we’re so blessed to have come here.

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful experience! Our son is very apprehensive, and I was dreading the visit. The doctor was so patient, caring and he really feels kids. The entire team is great. In the end, my son enjoyed the experience and is willing to go back. Having the dog in the office is a huge winner too

Fantastic experience: League City Pediatric Dentistry is THE best! My daughter came in with a major tantrum (we’re in the terrible 2s) and the whole staff was so understanding and helpful in the situation. They all tried helping her feel as comfortable as possible from bringing out the therapy dog to also giving her stickers from one of her favorite shows. The dental assistant and hygienist were very patient with us and attentive to my daughter’s needs. Dr. Kwak helped my daughter stay calm by showing her how he was going to examine her mouth to her bear first so she wouldn’t be scared. The whole staff is very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The check in and out went very smooth and everyone was so friendly. I can’t recommend enough this amazing clinic. No complaints over here, this clinic really does put their pediatric patients first!!
