Customer service was outstanding from everyone and we have switched dentists because of how amazing the service was and how well they make your kiddo feel comfortable throughout the whole process!

Fantastic experience: Our family began seeing Dr.Ben about 6 years ago when we moved to blue springs and my oldest needed a new dentist. I have since then been bringing all 3 of my children for any of there dental needs, I can’t express how wonderful he and his staff are from the moment you walk in it is such a warm and pleasant experience every time. They are all extremely patient and kind with each child’s tolerance and needs. I’d give them 100 stars if I could!

Fantastic experience: We went in already knowing my 7-year-old had multiple cavities because our family dentist recommended we see a pediatric specialist. I chose this office based on reviews and I am SO grateful I did! From the moment we walked in, every single person was incredibly kind and welcoming. The dentist and staff were patient, knowledgeable, and explained everything in a way that made both me and my daughter feel completely at ease. They ended up doing several fillings, including one that was very close to the nerve. My daughter didn’t even realize what was happening — she happily watched a movie the entire time! I’m usually a very anxious person when it comes to dental work, especially involving my child, but they were so professional, calm, and reassuring that I felt comfortable throughout the whole visit. This office went above and beyond and truly surpassed my expectations. I cannot recommend them highly enough! If you’re looking for a pediatric dentist who is gentle, skilled, and genuinely cares — this is the place.

Fantastic experience: My daughter was VERY uneasy about going to the dentist. The staff here was great with my gal & made my little one feel so comfortable. They have tv’s and tablets there for the kids & the staff are so understanding & personable. My daughter isn’t going to fight me to go back!

Fantastic experience: I have been taking my kids here for YEARS, ever since they opened! They are the BEST for many reasons including the following: Dr Ben is the GOAT, incredibly friendly staff, they always have fun giveaways- during Covid we won 3D tickets to frozen 2 (we’ll always cherish that memory!), they keep it CLEAN and SANITIZED, amazing scheduling options, and an all around welcoming, safe, fun environment. As I’m typing this my kiddos and I are currently singing along to Shrek in the lobby living our best lives. Thank you Hello! for being so amazing and accommodating. Special shout out to Kelcie P and Christina at the front - they are two we have grown to know well and adore!

Fantastic experience: Everyone in the office was wonderful! Jennifer and Angela at the front desk were very friendly and helpful! Maria and the Dr were very attentive to my daughter’s comfort level and even noticed when she was trying to hide some pain. They made sure to address it right away and made sure she felt better before continuing. The whole process was very quick and the building was so clean and comfortable. I’m very grateful for the great care they gave my kiddo! Thanks guys!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ben was amazing. After some past dental trauma with my oldest child at multiple dental offices (not just one), he made the process so comfortable with my youngest, needing her cavities filled. As a nurse, I appreciate the effort he took to explain things. Instead of making me feel I was doing something wrong, or matter of fact statements. Also, my daughter loved being there and all the special prizes.

Fantastic experience: We’ve been there only once, but I already have something to compare it to. The place is open and bright, same as all the staff we met since we walked in. My son had an experience with another “pediatric” dentist before and absolutely hated it when he heard the word dentist. At Hello! Pediatric Dentistry he was scared and didn’t want to go see the doctor. In the lobby they have tablets to play games while waiting, and the wait wasn’t long at all. When the nurse called us, we walked into a big, open, light space that has stalls with dental chairs where dental assistants take you in and wait for the doctor. My son was refusing to even get off my lap, afraid they would put bitter medicine (fluoride) in his mouth, but Mady was very nice and polite, and told him they only have watermelon flavor and kids love it. Then Dr. Ben went by and said hello. It seemed like he was walking to another patient, but I told him that my son was scared. Dr. Ben immediately stopped, squatted down, and started to talk to my son, showed him the mirror, and looked in his mouth. My son was amused and not scared anymore. He agreed to do X-rays, and Mady did it fast and professionally, showing my son his teeth on the screen. Afterwards, Dr. Ben offered us a few options to treat my toddler’s teeth, starting with small and leaving general surgery for last. They gave him a funny nose to practice wearing for the next treatment—it also smells good. He got a small toy and stickers. He’s excited to go see Mady and Dr. Ben again. I don’t know how treatment will go, but it was very nice customer service and as a parent I like it and want to bring my child there again.

Fantastic experience: Dr Ben and staff are 2nd to NONE! We moved 2+ hrs away from their office and we make the drive. Totally worth the effort for the kids to always look forward to going and having a great experience.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to this place by other dentist and I’m glad they did, not only was my 3 year old comfortable they performed amazing work for him and made him feel so safe. I love their welcoming atmosphere as we walked in to when we left, I don’t think I’ll go to another pediatric dentist. I was really impressed when they said they took our insurance as well, Thank you girls for all that you do for our children. An thank you for making it so easy to make an appointment to listening to all my concerns. Truly the best around.

Fantastic experience: First time appointment, the entire staff was SUPER FRIENDLY. I was able to schedule both my children on the same day at the same time and even get my oldest fillings done the same day.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ben and his team are unbeatable when it comes to Pediatric Dentistry. All 3 of my children go here, my son being the youngest being age 4. They have never felt more comfortable, confident and found actual excitement to visit the dentist because of how incredible this team is. From the moment you enter, you are greeted with kind, energetic staff. The energy is welcoming and the interaction with the kids is unmatched. They are lighthearted, explain to the kids very thoroughly what they’re going to experience and make the cleaning, procedure, x-ray, etc interactive for the kids so they’re comfortable with the process. We can’t imagine being anywhere else for our families dental health.

You walk into a bright fun place with Disney movies playing, comfy seats, computers for the kids to use as they wait, and a welcoming staff. Our hygienist was top of the line and so friendly and comforting. I can not say enough good things about this place. Night and day to where we used to go. Just wish I could go there as well!

Fantastic experience: I took my ten year old here for the first time and it was the best experience we have ever had at any dentist. They were very friendly and got us back quickly and when they found that he need a cap replaced and another put on they did it the same day which I have never had happened before. We were in and out within an hour and now my kiddo can't wait to go back there. Thank you so much

Fantastic experience: Olivia always takes such good care of my kiddos when we come in. Shes so patient & respectful of my son who can be a little more tricky to work with! Dr. Mikayla is kind, quick and efficient with her exams which I really appreciate as a mom of 3 littles! I also need to mentioned the lady at the front desk! I never catch her name but she always greets us with a big smile and is so kind!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely will recommend this location to EVERYONE with children! They showed so much love and care for my kiddo. He has special needs and anxiety about new places and he was immediately comfortable and was able to get a full check up no worries!! Everyone there is so kind and welcoming and I just love it there!!

Fantastic experience: Would give 10 stars if I could! My children's dad just lost his job so I've been calling all my kids doctors trying to get them in before we lose insurance at the end of the month. The lady at front desk who answered the phone, her name was either Jessica or Jennifer I think.. I cant remember, but she was so nice and helpful and was actually able to get all 3 of my kiddos in that day for their cleanings, so that was great! Took them to their appointment and it went great but unfortunately 2 of my kiddos had a cavity. They were able to get them in the next day! Took my 2 year old first. Super easy! Her cavity was so tiny that they did not even have to numb her. They just gave some "laughing gas" and that was enough to fill her small cavity and she did not even flinch or cry! She laid there perfectly still and watched tv that they had on the ceiling as she was laid back (such a smart idea btw!) Was super quick and my 2 year old left happily with her toys they gave her! I then brought my 7 year old in... she was more anxious then my 2 year old, biting her nails and all. The dentist and dental assistant were so nice and reassuring to her that she would be perfectly fine and that this was easy! She was given the "laughing gas", then her gums were numbed more to prep for the needle, and when the dentist stuck the needle in her gums for the anesthesia, she didn't even jump or squeeze my hand! She didn't even feel it. After he was done doing that, he walked out of the room to allow time for the medicine to kick in and my 7 year old asked me "did he stick the needle in yet??" She didnt even know! The filling process was just as simple and told my 7 year old they were using a special tooth brush to fix the cavities. She also left happy with some toys!Checking out was easy and I paid part of the bill that day and then the rest Ill pay monthly for 3 months. Super simple and stress free! When we got to the car my daughter told me "That was easy.. I dont know why I was scared!" her mouth was a little numb and felt weird but she thought that was fun and was trying to say funny words! Everyone here was amazing. Cannot recommend them enough! Will be back in 6 months and my kiddos are not even scared about it! Sorry for the book, just wanted to detail my great experience!

Fantastic experience: UPDATE: 3/25/25 - Still taking my son to Doc Ben, it is a 45 mins drive depending on traffic. We would drive out of town if that was required! From elementary to high school will be a sad day when my kid ages out of his care☹️. With a leader like him and the support staff GOLD STARS ⭐️ everyone! Fantastic experience: Great experience at hello pediatric dentistry. My daughter needed SDF treatment and crowns and we needed a specialist. We came to the right place. They were able to give nitrous oxide and calm her and finish the whole treatment in 2-3 appointments. Doctor is board certified pediatric dentist Just what we were looking for our toddler. All staff is very caring and professional and were able to manage and provide care to our little one. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing!! They got my daughter in quick, everyone was so welcoming and pleasant. The hygienist that saw my daughter first was the sweetest person ever. She let my daughter get a feel for everything before starting any work, she made my daughter very comfortable. The dentist herself was very sweet and good with my kiddo as well. Pricing is decent. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone needing a good place to take their kids.

Fantastic experience: We love Hello! Our kids are excited and love to go. For a bit, we were self pay because our insurance changed and to me, that was still worth it because of the level of care and patience and how special they make each patient feel. We’ve seen both Dr. Mikayla and Dr. Ben and both are 10/10. Actually, they all are. Highly recommend!

Dr. Ben has been our sons’ dentist for years now and we couldn’t ask for better care. We drive nearly an hour to this office because of the quality service they provide. Great team!

Fantastic experience: My toddlers had their first appointment yesterday and today they asked to go back to “the fun doctor”. Love the bright colors all over the office, and the supportive structure for kiddos. They let the kiddos take lead but do very well keeping it motivated as well.

Fantastic experience: I love Dr.Ben and the crew at Hello Pediatric Dentistry. My son has Autism and he has a sensory issue with dentist and doctor offices. He’s been going for probably 3 years now and at the beginning he wasn’t having it and the staff was so nice and calm with him. Now he hops up in the chair and lets them do what they need to do without any issues. I’m glad I made the switch from Children’s Mercy Dentist

Fantastic experience: My children have been patients here a very long time. I would recommend it to any parent. They are so kind and Dr. Ben is SO good with the kids! He talks to them about everything he is doing and makes sure they know the next step. All of the girls in the back have never been anything but so helpful and they make conversation with the kids. The TVs are an added plus!

Fantastic experience: The absolute BEST experience ever! My daughter went in for a couple cavities filled and a tooth pulled. My daughter is so spunky and the life of the party! They gave her a footrest, and said take off your shoes and get comfy! Poor momma here got in trouble because she couldn’t get comfy because I forgot her blanket! the dentist and the assistants were unbelievable. They were very informing to my daughter and actually had talked back and made so many conversations with just her. You can tell they truly care about their careers and they’re just big hearted people! I will definitely be recommending this office to everyone! Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Ben and the entire team at Hello! Pediatric Dentistry. This was our first visit, and Dr. Ben saw all three of my elementary-aged children. They made sure to put them at ease and addressed any concerns we had, both for their comfort and mine. The office was warm, welcoming, and incredibly patient with my kids, taking the time to explain every step of the process. I really appreciated how caring and attentive everyone was. It made what could have been a stressful appointment a positive experience. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: My girls had their first visit at this practice and it went so smoothly! The Assistant Melanie was so sweet and patient with them. She took her time and walked them through the entire visit. Dr. Mikayla was also very welcoming with me and my littles. Fantastic experience: We've been seeing Dr. Ben for about 6 years now with what started out with our only child to now being all four of our children ranging from ages 11 to 2 years old. Dr. Ben and his team do an amazing job at making all of our children feel comfortable during cleanings and dental work. His attention to patient care is outstanding. We no longer live close by, but we do still make a drive of 1.5 hours to continue to have Dr. Ben as our children's pediatric dentist. The staff is so friendly. Fantastic experience: To say that I’m impressed with Dr. Ben and his team is an understatement. After relocating to the KC area, our son developed an abscessed tooth and every pediatric dentist we visited wanted to extract it. I prayed that God would lead us to a new dentist that would help save his tooth and I’m so grateful that He led us to Dr. Ben. Not only was he willing to perform a procedure that most pediatric dentists will rarely do, he did it with such confidence, skill and care! If that doesn’t supersede your expectations for your child’s dentist, I don’t know what will! Dr. Ben has made dental work such a breeze for our other children as well that they all actually look forward to their appointments. They love watching movies in the chair and also getting prizes afterwards. We’ve been through many pediatric dentists over the years and a practice like this is truly rare and one-of-a-kind. Fantastic experience: We LOVE Hello! Pediatric. Dr. Ben is quick and thorough with treatment, which is very helpful for small children. We met Dr. Mikayla this week, and she was equally amazing! She took her time, talked the kids through everything she was doing, and went out of her way to show me any issues she noticed. Our children love visiting their dentist, and as a parent, that is invaluable to me!

We were made to feel very comfortable and everything was explained to me and I asked if I had any concerns . Love this dental group. My 6 year old, shy daughter loved it too. Fantastic experience: Excellent. All the staff were welcoming and greeted my kids. They were very patient, never forced my kids to do anything, were fun and playful. They had me in and out quickly, but did everything we needed to do without rushing. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I wish we would have started here! My 3 year old has several cavities, and is excessively fearful of the dentist for some reason. The first place we went, didn’t even try to make a good experience and immediately wanted to send us to be anesthetized. Dr. Ben and the entire staff has done everything under the sun including letting her lay on me during the fillings, and being so welcoming walking in the door. We will be lifetime patients for both my kids.

They work quickly and are so kind and welcoming. My kiddo no longer worries so much about visiting the dentist because every visit he is treated so well. I am so glad we found this place!! Fantastic experience: I don’t even know where to begin! Amazing from start to finish! The entire staff made me comfortable. More importantly, they made my child comfortable. My son and I had a previous experience with ABC Dental and it wasn’t great. I would most definitely recommend Hello! Pediatric Dentistry. I know exactly what I’m getting with them. They were very open and honest about what part I was responsible to cover after my dental insurance. No surprises! I wish more businesses still understood customer service. I cried because I was so happy and overwhelmed with the level of professionalism from the front desk, Olivia, and Dr. Ben Unruh. We will be going back next month for my son’s treatment and I am at ease with the situation.

Fantastic experience: Hello! Pediatric Dentistry is the best!! My daughter is very nervous about going to the dentist but everyone was super amazing and she did awesome!! She never questioned anything and even let the great Dr. Ben look at her teeth which has never been done before because of her anxiety but she did it!!

Negative experience: We really like Dr.Ben and staff but we were released as patients and it’s unfortunate. I wish they do a more diligent job on letting us know about the 3 strike cancellation. I did not know about it. Yes I read it in the fine prints for the first appointment as new patients but I wouldn’t remember that. They could at least do a call reminder with the appt and letting us know about if we missed the last one it’s a penalty. Life happens and I can’t control when my kids are sick or work related things come up. I wish corporate America has flexibility for us as parents. I will say on my end, yes I was at fault for missing one appt with not calling, but I rather pay a cancellation fee vs being released as patients.

Fantastic experience: Very impressed with this Dentist Office. The entire staff was welcoming and excited to see my daughter. She had to have some work done, and was anxious but the Dental Assistant helped calm her nerves. She never had any pain or discomfort. I was very impressed with Dr. Ben with how he was able to do her work while she was still awake. She's had other work done by a different Dentist in the past where she was put to sleep. Melody asked me to leave you a 100 stars but I can only leave five

Fantastic experience: From start to finish, everything was incredible. The entire staff was welcoming and excited to see my daughter. She had to have some fillings done, and was very nervous. The entire staff was understanding and kept things light and fun through the entire process. She never had any pain or discomfort, and the process was complete in under an hour. Highly recommend, especially for nervous kids like my own.

Fantastic experience: My son has been having cavities for quite some time but every time we visited another dentist provider we never had any luck. Any other provider wanted to put my son to sleep for dental procedures. Today after visiting Hello! Pediatric Dentistry we were advised once again of the cavities and we decided to take care of them. My son had never felt more comfortable and let himself take care of the procedure! Mind you he is only 6! I am very pleased to have found a place that welcomes my child and makes them feel comfortable!! Thank you Dr Ben and staff!

Fantastic experience: Dr Ben is awesome and amazing with kids. The staff is always friendly, fast, and wonderful. The TVs with kid content on is a great way to ease kids into the experience. My oldest is now 14 years old and when given the chance to go to an adult dentist, he turned me down. Teenagers even love this place! ❤️❤️

Fantastic experience: Wonderful staff. Took my almost-two year old to her appointment an hour early in hopes they could get her in early before she became too tired and agitated for her nap time. The front desk team happily rearranged some things to get her right in without making me feel like I inconvenienced them. The dental hygienist and dentist were great with my daughter. She left happy and I’m so grateful for that experience as I was stressed going into it thinking my daughter was not going to do well for them. I highly recommend this office for all kiddos.

Fantastic experience: We have 4 small children and it can be quite chaotic bringing them all to the dentist at the same time. The staff goes over and beyond to make our visits quick and easy. They are upbeat, kind and friendly. They even tossed confetti for my daughter when we had a check up on her birthday. Such a great place to bring your kids!

Fantastic experience: They are so great! The moment you walk in, everyone is so warm and inviting. They really meet my child where they are and do not push something if he’s not ready. This ensures and maintains a positive relationship with the dentist and staff! They incorporated fun and helped my son to feel very comfortable. The environment was also very clean and very kid friendly. Highly recommend!!

Melanie was amazing and did a great job with my daughter who we thought would be scared and she wasn’t! Fantastic experience: This office is SO fantastic. They’re great with putting children at ease and getting on their level. They make it so low pressure trauma free for them as well. My middle daughter has a rare tooth disorder and they have been great at keeping us informed and getting us in for procedures in a timely manner.

The dental assistant we had at this appointment was so wonderful and did a great job at making my son feel safe.

Fantastic experience: From the moment we walked in the door with our two children ages 4 and 6, it was an amazing experience. Our kids immediately felt comfortable and kept themselves busy in the waiting room while playing on the tablets provided. The dental hygienist was super comforting, sweet and gentle. We came from a place where we had a very TRAUMATIC experience at a previous pediatric dentist office (called My Kids Dentist), and coming here was like night and day. Our kids were willing to hop right up in the chair and get their teeth cleaned. Dr. Ben was SO nice and made all of us feel very comfortable. He explained things well and the kids loved him!!!! We are so glad one of our friend’s referred us here! Can’t wait to go back and know we are finally in good hands!

Fantastic experience: This is hands down the best pediatric dentist I have taken my kids to. I have 4 kids that go here. They have tvs for each chair and they will change it for you if you ask. The hygienists are really understanding of your children's needs and the Doctor makes it fun for the kids and helps explain the whole process and make them feel comfortable. We will never go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Very welcoming and friendly staff! They all made my nervous son feel so comfortable, so quickly. Very quiet environment with a variety of shows on for kids to watch during their visit. You can tell that Dr. Ben and the staff here care about what they do and these kiddos.

Negative experience: I've always had my review at 5 star until now. I couldn't make it in due to sudden transmission issues. I live over 20 miles away, so it's not like I'm able to walk there. For being a KIDS office, you'd think they'd be A LOT more lenient with cancelations and reschedules. Apparently, I had 3 total which is including this one where I either canceled or rescheduled within 24 hrs. I only remember this and one other, but either way, things happen with parents and their kids that cause these kind of unfortunate things. So now according to them, I'm no longer allowed to bring my kids there. I honestly don't know of anyone else that kicks you from ever coming back. For parents this is not okay. You'd think they'd be more understanding. This was a great office for my kids. They loved it there and they were so great with my kids. I don't know any other kids dentist that will take my insurance close to home. Thanks for your understanding, guys. I appreciate it. Sincerely, a ticked off parent.

Fantastic experience: This is now the second time I’ve brought my son here and love it! My son doesn’t really like listening to others and was nervous going inside, but Alyssa made him feel very comfortable and made his experience fun! He went home so excited and happy about getting his teeth cleaned! So thankful for the sweet staff!

Fantastic experience: As a mom who growing up had some very scary and somewhat traumatizing incidents that happened at a dentist office. I was skeptical when it came to finding the right dentist office for my two sons. That's when I was told about Hello Pediatric Dentistry. I am so thankful and grateful because they do such a fantastic job with my two boys! Dr. Ben and the rest of the team take such great care with all the kiddos they see! Fantastic experience: This place is definitely the place for kids. My 2 girls ages 4 and 7 were scared 7yr old more scared... the dentist assistant was so comforting to my girls. She even put on Netflix let them pick out what to watch:) they are super caring they take their jobs very seriously and that you cannot put a price on. My girls are scared to go to the dentist but they made sure to show them what they were going to do and let them even touch something before it went in there mouth so that they weren't so scared....this place is great I am so happy I found it. I would highly recommend and I mean HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place because when it comes to our children they should have the best care and this place did just that. I'm very thankful for this place.

Fantastic experience: So glad we decided to get a second opinion! The original dentist at Summit pediatrics said our son had 6 cavities. We saw hello Dental and he had 2. From the beginning to the end the staff was extremely friendly. We had a crown placed and a cavity filled. We were in and out within 30 minutes. I highly recommend them!!! Great communication, friendly staff and they made our son feel comfortable during his procedure.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this place. Super kid friendly. Just went for our first visit yesterday for a cleaning on my 4 year old & EVERYONE WAS SO NICE. unfortunately out of network for our insurance but still a great experience! Would definitely recommend to anyone with littles ❤️
