Fantastic experience: We always have a great experience at University Pediatric Dentistry. They are so patient with my kids. The front office is always very helpful when we need to schedule or reschedule our appointments.

Fantastic experience: Another great appointment - we love coming to UPD and seeing the staff there. They are honest, efficient, friendly and care about my kids beyond their teeth. They're always asking them what's been going on with them and inquiring about their lives outside their dental health. We love seeing familiar faces, and my kids comment on the gentleness and friendliness of the staff and Dr. Funny literally every single time. We are so very fortunate that we love our dental family and the pleasant experience we always have there.

Fantastic experience: They are awesome, from making an appointment until the end of our visit. I booked my 2 kids on a separate day as there were no available same dates for them. To my surprise the next morning I got a VM & text msg stating that they will be able to give us an appointment for my 2 kids on the same day. It was a relief for me & I am so grateful to Madison for making it happen. Staffs are very nice & accommodating, Ms Megan & Dr Funny did a wonderful job dealing with my 2 yr old (almost 3) daughter. Environment is so clean. I am glad that we chose University Pediatric Dentistry & I highly recommend them. We'll see them back in October ☺️

Fantastic experience: We absolutely LOVE UPD and the care they provide to our children. Today we took our daughter for her first dental visit. She was a little nervous, but the hygienist got her settled, and they moved along just fine. Dr. Funny is amazing. Dr. Funny is so patient and understanding of our children’s needs. Fantastic experience: My 2 year old had his first dental appt today and we are very pleased with the care that was provided during our visit. Our hygienist was very kind and patient as our little guy was a little fussy and apprehensive during the cleaning and exam as you would assume with most babies/toddlers, but he was very happy with his stickers and book provided afterwards. Dr. Funny was also great, personable and had our son’s best interest at heart regarding future plans. Also our son really loved the toy/entertainment wall in the front waiting area! Great addition for the little ones!

I love that my 4 yr old and 2 yr old can have appointments at the same time and that they've had the same dental assistants clean their teeth each time. Dr. Funny is very calming and they all do a great job talking my kids through each step and showing them the tools they're using so that they're comfortable. Thankful to have found such a fantastic dentist and practice, and highly recommend to any parent looking for a dentist that provides a great experience.

Negative experience: Staff and dentist was nice but referred my child to general dentistry because he is too big for them. Despite the fact he would need sedation dentistry so no in office work would be done, all in hospital setting, he was referred out because he was too big.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Funny and her assistant, Megan were noticeably calming in their demeanor, and worked well as a team. It was evident that they anticipated each other as Dr. Funny expertly filled two of my granddaughter’s cavities. This assured and calmed me, given I was a stand-in for her parents who were on a trip out of the country. I also loved how they included my daughter and son in-law, by phone, in the diagnosis, and ultimately the treatment decision. Office receptionists, as well were very welcoming and friendly. I appreciate the positive experience that my granddaughter and I had in their office.

Every step of the way, my daughter and I were handled with care (yes this Momma was scared they answered my million questions) Megan called to check my daughter after we got home and Dr.Funny called later to check and make sure my daughter was doing well and not experiencing any discomfort. one of my prayers for daughter, is that whoever cares for her, will care for her as if she was their own and today that prayer was answered. Fantastic experience: Dr. Funny and team has truly been amazing! My son is on the spectrum and it was hard for us to find a dentist that was patient enough to work with him. This place has dedicated rooms for those kiddos that may need a smaller, more inclusive setting or there’s the general area for everyone else. Our first encounter with Dr. Funny was 6 years ago and she allowed my son to touch the instruments and explained what everything did. The entire staff has been amazing from front end to the associates. I’m extremely sad today bc my son is now 13 and has graduated to a GP but Dr. Funny still made herself available, if needed in the future. If you’re looking for a dental home, look no further…University Pediatric Dentistry is your home away from home!!!

Even after moving to South Carolina, I didn’t mind making the drive so that he could continue seeing her—she has always been such a wonderful dentist.
