Positive experience: Everything was good except they had us wait for 25 mins for my daughter’s appointment. It seem like they had double booked the appointments.

Fantastic experience: We had the best experience at Mini Miners!! My son had to get a tooth pulled and was very anxious about it. They were able to put him right at ease and distract him beautifully. The doctor was so expert at what he was doing that my son didn't even know he'd had 3 injections!! We're going to change to make Mini Miners our regular dentist now!

Fantastic experience: Our kids (toddler through elementary) have been going to mini miners for several years now. They’ve always done a great job with cleanings (all the bells and whistles for the kids — arcade games, prizes, fun flavors, etc.), but after a recent urgent care/injury experience, I’m especially glad we found them! The office staff was super helpful answering questions and helping us get an appointment time quickly. Dr Ross and Dr Alison were kind and patient, and they were honest and conservative with their approach. They didn’t pressure us into extra procedures, and thoughtfully answered our many questions.

The staff was incredibly accommodating, the facility is curated to promote comfort and enjoyment for kiddos and parents. I can’t imagine taking my children anywhere else.

We switched dentists for my son because his previous dentist didn’t have the best bedside manner when it came to him being scared of the equipment. So I walked into Mini Miners a bit apprehensive but immediately felt at ease when Allison did everything at my son’s pace and on his own terms and they were able to successfully brush his teeth without tears! The hygenists are patient and kind to our kids, the dentists are knowledgeable and friendly, and our kids love coming here. They have TVs while they get a cleaning, games and books in the waiting room, and the kids are always excited for the prize at the end.

Fantastic experience: I have SO much love for this office!! They take such wonderful care of my daughter and the excitement she feels to come to each appointment is not only unmatched but unheard of! Dr. Alison & Dr. Ross genuinely care so much about their patients and it shows. Dr. Ross did her exam today and was so friendly, personable, and funny! He made my daughter laugh several times and she was smiling ear to ear the entire time. Angelique did an amazing job with her cleaning and not only took her time but explained every step while simultaneously being very educational - I really felt like she gave 110% of her focus and energy to my little one which I appreciate! Ceseli & Melissa also provided the warmest of welcomes to us upon arrival which is amazing and really makes you feel like you’re in the right place when it comes to dental care for your child - so refreshing and pleasant. Always a great time at Mini Miners ❤️

Fantastic experience: We always feel welcomed here! Our kiddos have zero anxiety about going to the dentist. Right now things look a little different since they don’t generally have people waiting inside, but at a more typical time, we would hang out in the waiting area - Reading books, playing, watching movies - and when it was each kiddo’s turn for their appointment, they would calmly walk back with the hygienist. I stay in the waiting area except during their very first visit, and it works well for all of us! Dr. Allison Grover is so friendly and helpful, and she makes it clear that she loves our kids, which obviously helps! We happily drive past a few closer pediatric dentists to do business here.

Negative experience: It’s acceptable. My daughter doesn’t complain, likes the tv during the ‘cleaning’. But as a parent who actually values the quality, this feels sub par. Teeth are hardly polished, and I can do a better job at home with our electric kids braun toothbrush. We go because it’s convenient and I feel it’s more of an experience for my daughter to get used to than actual dental hygiene or care. If we ever had a need arise, I would be fairly certain we’d switch to my personal dentist in Louisville.

Fantastic experience: Mini Miners is very thorough clear and supportive of the kids. We are regular patients but were here for an emergency as well; my kid hit his front two teeth on a play structure and they checked us in super fast we're very comforting and helped soothe my child. They are always on time, clean, and respectful. I like that they are very upfront about insurance coverage and they always ask parents what they want to do with fluoride because they know that's a big deal.

Negative experience: We had a horrible and traumatizing experience today with Dr. Allison. My son was scheduled to have two of his teeth removed as he had an abscess. We opted for liquid non-intravenous conscious sedation as our son is neurodivergent and we wanted to make sure he did not remember this procedure. From calling other dentist and googling conscious sedation typically takes 30- 60 minutes to take effect. They gave my son the medicine at 8:50 am and by 9 am the dentist was already injecting the numbing in his gums which takes 5- 10 minutes to reach its full effect. Within literally minutes they were starting the extractions. Our son was kicking and screaming in so much pain. Dr. Allison did not give either of the medicines enough time to take effect so that he could be properly numbed and sedated. We’re extremely disappointed and would recommend that if you’ll be doing any serious dental work with them, you make sure they are not rushing you along. This is the worst pain I’ve ever seen my son in and he’s had several other surgeries. We will not be coming back.

Fantastic experience: We love mini miners. My kids have no hesitation going here at all. All the dental hygienists are amazing. What could be tough about watching your favorite movie? Choosing you favorite flavors of tooth paste? I just wish adults could go here! Ha! Absolutely love the dentist also! She always makes everyone feel at ease. Fantastic experience: They did an amazing job! Dr. Alison Grover was great, a usual. The dental hygienist (I forgot to ask her name) truly went above and beyond - she was patient with my daughter and made the entire experience very smooth.

Positive experience: The dentist and hygienist were very kind but obviously rushing, which makes sense as we waited 30 minutes past our appointment time to be seen. In the waiting room there were 2 tvs both with the sound on, 2 video games both with sound on, music coming from somewhere and a loud pencil sharpener that was in constant use. I probably could’ve handled that much stimulation for a shorter period of time but I was starting to lose it at the 20 minute mark. Another mom in the waiting room assured me that it’s very rarely this long of a wait and told me I should probably book our next appointment for during the school year as summer break is always mayhem. The hygienist used the wrong flavor toothpaste which in and of itself is not a big deal but it just speaks to how little attention was being paid due to rushing. It was a disappointing appointment because they came so highly recommended. I’m hopeful that their next appointment, during the school year won’t be so bad.

Fantastic experience: We have had a few experiences here and each has been great, the team is friendly and professional, and they do well with a screaming toddler! The rooms are cheerful and they offer movies for the kiddos to watch during exams which I appreciate.

Fantastic experience: They are awesome!! They always do great on my teeth cleaning and making sure I am aware of anything that may need to be taken care of with my teeth. The staff is friendly and calming. The play area is nice for little kids, as they have a tree trunk you can climb on and pac man that you can play. They have movies on too while you wait!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Allison and her caring staff truly Anthem needs of a child who may be fearful or apprehensive about dentistry. Her office is well suited to offer the best care. She really knows how to treat difficult cases and her companion for her clients is as clear as the heart on her sleeve. Dr. Allison, all I can say is thanks.

Fantastic experience: We make the drive from Ft Lupton because they are worth it. I don't like the dentist myself and I love that my kids like going to the dentist. Dental work isn't always fun but they do their best to make the kids comfortable and relaxed while also explaining things in a way they can understand. They don't force anything and listen, one time my daughter has an xray on her nose and then we went to the dentist. I was concerned about getting an xray the same day, she lilely would have been ok but they didn't force anything, they did an exam without one and then the next round did xrays.

Fantastic experience: Another Update: My now 9 and 5 year old still go to Mini Miners and it is still our favorite place! Dr Allison and staff are the best and ensure the kids are comfortable and safe. As my son’s dental experience has changed, Dr Allison has been a great partner with our orthodontist and ensuring the best care for our son. UPDATE: Dr. Allison continues to be the best dentist ever! Her and her staff are so children oriented. My son has no issue or fears going to the dentist because of the great environment that Dr. Allison has created. I have a 6 month old, and with Dr. Allison's advice, I know our little one will have great oral health. Dr. Grover and her staff are amazing! From the start, we were made to feel comfortable and informed. Our 3 year old son needed extensive care, but we were informed every step of the way. I would highly recommend Mini Miners to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist!

Fantastic experience: The staff at mini miners is amazing! Seriously make you feel at home. They definitely know how to handle parents like me where I'm all new to everything so I ask alot of questions. They answered everything and helped me better understand what's going on with my child. They talk to my son so gentle and kind he even told me he really liked all who worked with him! Environment is fun, welcoming and clean! my sons favorite part is the video games in the lobby and getting to decide what movie to play during his appointment!

Fantastic experience: Our pediatrician recommended this dentistry for my toddler and I am so glad that she did. My arrival to the clinic was first approached by a friendly face and a welcoming environment for my kiddo. It made him less nervous. Dr. Ross was thorough and made everything comfortable for my toddlers first dentist appointment. I can't say there was anything negative.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ross was quick and efficient with both my 5 year old and 2 year old. The dental assistant (I never got her name) was also very friendly and professional. In and out of the office within 30 minutes

Negative experience: I appreciated the work they did on my 4 year old last year. This year, we found that my oldest has an extra tooth behind his front teeth. So I go to them with the same insurance I went to them with last year with my 4 year old and suddenly they do not take my Aetna insurance. I specifically went with the same insurance to make sure my kids were covered, and now I cannot change insurance, but you can change if you accept it. What is your goal here at this office; to help people or to maximize profit? The only reason I can see for no longer accepting my insurance is to maximize profit over helping people. Sometimes true colors show through actions. This is one of those actions. We just happen to be on the receiving end of that action, so I'd say the 1 star review is warranted.

The environment is fun and friendly, and Dr. Alison Grover is gentle and professional. My son had two extractions done this morning and while I was feeling nervous for him, it couldn’t have gone any better. The staff made him comfortable, giggle with their jokes, and were quick and efficient. If things keep up this way, my kids won’t have any dental trauma to deal with in their past when they’re all grown up. ❤️

Fantastic experience: Mini miners are a fun experience from the moment you walk into the moment you walk out. They have a great play area in the waiting room that helps to ease kids' anxiety. Once they are in the room, the staff is very patient. The kiddos get to pick a movie to watch on the ceiling. Treatment was quick and easy, and all the staff we met were extremely friendly. After treatment, the kids get to choose prizes. If you want a no-tear, no-anxiety dental experience for your kids, this place is it! Another benefit is that no one is pushy on Flouride or other services; they really respect your choice as a parent!

Fantastic experience: I recently switched my 11 year old daughter to this practice and we were really pleased with her first visit. They were very gentle and the atmosphere made her very comfortable. We will be back!
