Fantastic experience: Great fast experience. Kid has some cavities offer the same filling. I go there since opening and dont recommend for you because then we will need to wait longer :p. But service was great thank you

Negative experience: Unfortunately, this place does not have parking, which makes arriving on time very difficult. On top of that, if you are even a few minutes late, they do not wait for you at all. However, when this happens, you end up waiting a long time to be seen. The lack of flexibility and long waiting time make the experience very frustrating.

Fantastic experience: Excellent. We love Dr. Pinto, and the assistances they have. The hygienist we had was all so perfect too, very sweet. I simply love this office, and how they set their office policies, as it allows all patients to feel as important as the next. My daughter has been coming here for 5 yrs now. Thank you all. Many blessings, and prayers for your business to flourish to expand.

Fantastic experience: My children had a great experience at Magic Squad dental. They both needed fillings placed by the Dentist. The bedside manner of the dentist and technician was amazing. And the best part is my children didn’t feel any discomfort during or after the treatment.

Negative experience: Do not let the aesthetics of this office fool you. For a practice designed for children, the experience was extremely disappointing. It takes almost 20 minutes just to reach a receptionist on the phone, yet when you arrive, the entire front desk is sitting around with no sense of urgency. They spend more time sending passive aggressive texts than actually focusing on customer service and patient care. I was also told my daughter would receive laughing gas before her procedure, only to show up and be told they “didn’t have it available today.” Instead, they attempted to inject a 4-year-old with no sedation, which was obviously unsuccessful. Her follow-up appointment was then cancelled the day before due to “lack of communication.” Are we texting friends here? The dentist we had was extremely sweet, which is the only reason this isn’t a zero star review. Outside of that, this practice needs major improvements.

Negative experience: Customer service at front desk very rude and phone call receptionist very disrespectful and rude and unhelpful and unprofessional very disappointing.

Fantastic experience: I like this place for my son . Customer service is on point they are friendly and informative . Wait time isn’t long they try to see you at your appointed time, I’d say they are prompt . The overall office is clean and super kid friendly. The staff is patient, and they make sure to cater to all kids. Great place to service children .

Negative experience: This office is incredibly unprofessional. They harass you with multiple messages to confirm your appointment, and then change your appointment time without even contacting you — as if your schedule doesn’t matter. When you try to call to fix it, they don’t even pick up the phone. Totally disrespectful of patients’ time and frustrating to deal with. Taking our kids elsewhere, enough is enough.

Fantastic experience: They are very patient and understanding no wait time and the kids had a great experience.

Negative experience: This is the worst place ever. My daughter teeth was hurting and they put a silver crown over her teeth mind you they keep taking and putting it on and off for a long period of time. My child teeth was is n so much pain. I called them and they said they cant see her until a week later. Mind you theyre website states they take emergencies. I took my daughter to the hospital to find out they damaged her nerves and cut into her gum. I had to wait to follow up with her dentist. She had to bear this pain and be out of school for a week. She was seen by a Indian dentist here who saw the issue and tried to play it off and said to have fixed it. And was to prescribe medication and never did. I had to call the office and request for it. They said theyll call back and never did once they put it in. I called back and they finally did it and for a doctor note and to include the previous days which they made into a big deal and terminated my daughter from their office and emailed me her record stating lies that was crying during the whole procedure. Theyre wasnt any procedure and she didnt really do anything. And my daughter was very calm and relaxed. This office is wicked. And their workers are very unprofessional and rude. When it comes to appointments they change it without you knowing and when you come they claim they called and told you and didn't. This place should be closed down. No manager cared to call to find out and hear what I have to say. I recieved an automatic termination letter in a a email and I emailed them back and never got a response back. This is by far the worst dentist.

Negative experience: Took my son to get his teeth cleaned, the dentist that was cleaning his teeth was nice however, I am giving them a 1 star due to their Dr named Vandervoot, she came in to see my son, I asked her a question and she referred to my son as a girl just because he has long hair, I corrected her she looked at me like I was crazy and wrong and walked away in the middle of my question on my sons teeth. Sorry that you are not used to seeing long hair on boys.

Fantastic experience: I honestly love this place. My kids have been seen here for a few years now. Their customer service is excellent. All the staff here has been amazing and wonderful to my kids. The appointment reminders are perfect for my hectic life, absolute life savers. The dentist is great and extremely patience. She is efficient in her movements for my squirming children. We as a family are very happy here.

Fantastic experience: They took care of my daughters and did an amazing job. Took very special care of my girls with ASD. My 5 year old didn't love the experience but they got the job done. Very happy with this dentist, hyhenist, and the nice lady that did the xrays.wonderful staff. Very short wait. My 13 year old loved the TV on the ceiling and having the opportunity to pick her flavors of toothpaste and vitamins.

Fantastic experience: Our experience at Magic Squad dental was perfect. The parking is a bit difficult but it's worth it when you get inside and they make everyone feel welcomed and understood. Staff is professional and kind. Place is clean and air quality is fresh. My kids love how they are spoken to and if they have a question the staff will answer it with a smile

Fantastic experience: The dental hygienist went above and beyond and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. She was incredibly gentle, patient, and made my daughter feel completely comfortable the entire time. She explained everything in a way my daughter could understand and kept checking in to make sure she was okay. The cleaning was thorough and done with so much care. Kind and professional all the way through.

Negative experience: I’m giving 1 star because of my experience here. The doctor suggested treatment for my baby without even doing an X-ray. I told her I needed time to think and asked for a follow-up appointment. The front desk scheduled me for 3 PM, but when I arrived that day, they claimed there was no appointment. When I spoke to the manager, she said they don’t even do treatments in the afternoon. I asked why I was given a 3 PM appointment then, and the manager denied it ever happened. I even asked them to check their CCTV footage, but she refused. The behavior from both the doctor and the staff was unprofessional and very disappointing.

Fantastic experience: My son is starting school in September and this dental office was recommended by his school. This was his first time at the dentist and everything went AMAZING! This is really a dental office for children. Pepper pig being on for the walk in and the staff just being amazing and the dentist was so personable! He enjoyed every bit of his first dentist visit and I was thoroughly impressed!!

Fantastic experience: I am very satisfied with this dental office. They accept my insurance, so I didn’t have to pay anything out of pocket. Parking can be a bit tricky, but honestly, where in New York is it easy to park near a dentist? I recommend bringing your spouse, a friend, or someone who can wait for you and give you a ride afterward. Even though the neighborhood isn’t considered the safest, in the mornings it’s calm and there are no troublemakers around. I was very happy to visit here with my child. The equipment is top-quality, and the doctor is very professional, kind, and pleasant.

Fantastic experience: Honestly I was really nervous for my son’s first dental exam but the whole process low stress and the experience was amazing. Everyone was nice and professional. I arrived 10 min early and was taken in on time. The Dr was in and out very quickly and the hygienist did a great job with my son. He wasn’t scared or hurt. The tvs on the ceilings definitely help! Overall great experience and looking forward to our next visit in 6 months.

Negative experience: They are good but they don’t let your child get treatment if parents aren’t there parents work and aren’t able to get off like others and the closest thing she has to a legal guardian is her older sister but they still don’t let her even tho she has a tooth and is pain crying and sees that it’s getting bad and parent give permission over call and filling out a form arrived to my appointment 20 minutes before and appointment was at 5pm and almost hour later and still hasn’t gotten seen by the doctor or nurse but other people arrive and get seen so fast and quick and one lady speaks to you like if don’t hear or understand even tho u do

Fantastic experience: We was in and out and the staff was lovey and friendly I was asking so many questions trying to under the X-ray as if I was interning there and they answered them.

Negative experience: The manager is very nasty and the overbooking patients was waiting more than an hour in the waiting room, and then the doctors and the technicians are easily distracted in the room talking about wedding and vacation very Unprofessional

Fantastic experience: Always a great place to take your child but really wanted to say thank you to Veronica for keeping in touch with me and being able to get my daughter in the same day. She was friendly and professional through our whole interaction. EDIT 8/1/2025 Veronica remains being great as always but is very inconvenient that nobody ever answers when I call. I only get assistance when I email her directly which I’m thankful for but it shouldn’t be like this.. please do better!

Fantastic experience: All of the staff from receptionist to hygienist to doctor, everyone is very very friendly. We got the appointment within 1 day whereas all other dentists have long waiting time for appointment. Also they took us in within few minutes after reaching there. The doctor was very considerate about my son since he is only 2 years old and was resisting and crying a lot, so the doctor didn’t push too hard for cleaning. I would definitely recommend this place.

Negative experience: I went to this place one week ago and the Colombian receptionist treated my daughter and me like a garbage, unfortunately the doctors will lose a lot patients because of this unprofessional person in charge of the reception, I’ll never come to this place again because I’ll be a big problem. People like that don’t deserve a job like this, because make the business go down.

Negative experience: We traveled 2 hours to get to an Appointment and they Refused Service for my 8 year old for being 5mins Late. DisCourteous Beings.

Negative experience: Took my daughter here as a new patient. We were running 11 minutes late. I tried to call the office for 10 minutes there was no answer. When we arrived the front desk stated she was unable to be seen because there is a 10 minute grace period. Have they told me this when I initially scheduled the appointment I wouldn't have bothered going and would've rescheduled due to the fact I was going to be a few minuets late. If you have certain protocols they should be communicated when scheduling. A waste of time.

Fantastic experience: This is my second review for Magic Squad Dental, as I brought my daughter in today for a check-up. Once again, the staff, the hygienist, and the entire team were so wonderful, patient, and kind. I’m so glad I found this place, and I truly recommend it!

Fantastic experience: Went there about two weeks ago and treated my son with such loving patience’s. Will be going back again for his 6 month visit. Have nothing bad to say about them. P.S. this was his first visit ever at a dentist office and he is three and he enjoyed it himself.

When I arrived the waiting area and bathroom was clean. The staff and dentists were very welcoming and thorough. I will be bringing my son back as a regular and I recommend Magic Squad for your child too.

Negative experience: They messed up with my son’s two front teeth. It has been almost 3years now since they extracted them and until now the permanent ones have not come out yet. They made a judgment to extract them because of the pus that they caused.

Fantastic experience: Magic Squad has the best name. The entire squad knows how to work their magic and make kids...and parents feel so comfortable. My 8yr daughter actually doesn't cry when she goes. They talk to her throughout the service and the dentists and dental assistants always keep the parent in the conversation and is very open to questions. I love it here...correction, we (my daughter and I) love it here. The toys and stickers are a great bonus

Fantastic experience: From the moment we walked in we were warmly greeted… everyone was so nice and friendly our son was so comfortable you would have thought he went there before, mind you this was our first visit lol…..this was also his first time taking X-rays and the tech made it fun for him it was a breeze. We’ll definitely be coming back in 6 months.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time taking my son to a dentist visit. The experience was amazing! We had our appointment at 9 AM and were taken in very quickly. The Dental Hygienist Rachel was so sweet and friendly. She worked on my son’s teeth so well and explained to all of us what she was doing. She provided us with feedback on how to continue to take care of my son’s teeth. The x-rays were taken efficiently and the doctor came in very quickly and provided a fluoride liquid to help my son with his sensitivity. We were done with our appointment by 9:35 AM. The fastest I’ve ever been done with a dental appointment and didn’t feel rush or not heard. The office is clean, organized and all of the staff are friendly! I know some reviews say the receptionist are rude I did NOT experience that. Everyone was courteous, helpful and respectful. 5/5 for me, book your appointment!

Fantastic experience: Great experience. Everyone was very nice from beginning to end, the office is clean and organized and well staffed. I have two 3yos , a 6yo and a 14yo and we came it all at once and the kids left happy and not traumatized which could easily happen at a dental office! Big thumbs up

Fantastic experience: I took my daughter here for her first dentist appointment and I will never take her anywhere else. My silly insurance stopped covering most dentist offices including Magic Squad Dental but I still bring my daughter here and pay out of pocket because they are THAT AMAZING here. I’m actually afraid to take her anywhere else because I don’t think any other office will be as kind and patient. At my daughter’s first appointment (she was like 3 years old, I know I’m the worst), they took their time to explain everything to us and her. Since they made her so comfortable, she never had any issues with being afraid of the dentist. Even when they had to take care of a cavity, she was as cool as a cucumber. The monitors in the ceiling don’t hurt either

Fantastic experience: This was a great dentist for my 6year old.. we went to another “pediatric” dentist when he was around 3 and it kinda scared him, she has no beside manner for young kids.. so I knew I had to find a dentist who really knew how to deal with children now that he has his grown teeth. Parking is a doozy, so arrive early and plan to walk a bit if driving. Very clean and bright and pleasant for children.. we were seen timely for the appointment .. dentist and techs were kind and friendly.. my son was relaxed and felt so brave.. we will be staying here!

Fantastic experience: We always have a great time at magic squad dental. Their attention to detail is unmatched. I have a large family with five kids and they love going every single time. They're fast and thorough. The kids get great gifts and everyone is so nice and caring. They are also especially patient with special needs children which is great to see. Negative experience: Rules was not cleared to patients.i was told I can still come and will accommodate. when we get there we have to reschedule as soon as they saw me. i felt being discriminated . as patient we waited for almost an hour to be seen. The policy is one sided. They valued their time what about patient’s time?

Negative experience: This would have been my second visit at this dentist. The first visit went well with the Dr. as for the Spanish receptionists, she honestly gives this place a bad experience. I arrived 15 minutes late to my daughter’s appointment unaware there was only a 10 minute grace period. To be turn away to only say would you like to reschedule. I’m okay I will take my business somewhere else . Hopefully she is replaced!!! Second response!! Well I’m sorry to tell you that your team did absolutely nothing… I wouldn’t be say fast to say that my appointment time was not honored. My daughter is 2 years old again I was 5 minutes late outside of the grace period I wasn’t aware of. Again as stated your receptionist can do a better job when it comes to her communication and kindness!!

Fantastic experience: They were literally 5 stars!! I worked for a doctor office so I know what to expect and this is A1 service!! From the facility to the staff and service!! Everyone was attentive and informative and so kind!! I will recommend my family and friends with kids!! Thank you guys, you all are awesome!!

Positive experience: The dentist and hygienist are awesome. They are very friendly and work well with my toddlers. One of the staff members at the front desk is quite RUDE and chose to speak in Spanish about my family, right in front of us. She doesn't know, I can understand Spanish. I'm happy I didn't let that ruin out overall experience.

Negative experience: Dr. Pena and her dental assistant were amazing and I was blown away by their ability to engage with young children. The patient waiting area could be more kid friendly. The two star rating is because her reception team and practice manager lack customer service skills and are offensive. They are in need of cultural humility training and perhaps even implicit bias training.

(First visit!)The dentist was very soft and I could tell she took her took with the cleaning of my son teeth and made sure to do a good job ! Fantastic experience: Highly recommend, dentist and assistants works grate with kids and they make my kid super comfortable. Kids can watch their favorite cartoons up above their head, while cleaning/checking their teeth. Great experience with my 5 year old daughter. Great atmosphere. Cool and clean looking place. This is the best dental place for kids. They give toy while leaving the office..

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! I brought my autistic 7yr old and feisty little toddler for a check-up and we were in and out in under 30 minutes! They were extremely patient and understanding with my oldest sensory disorders. X-rays were done extremely quick as well as the cleaning for both. It’s difficult finding a place that can accommodate a neurodivergent child, so glad I’ve been coming here since he was 3.

Fantastic experience: Smooth check in, out in less than 1 hour for both children. Office staff is pleasant. Assistants, hygienist and doctor made the children feel welcome and apart of the process.
