Fantastic experience: I take both my kids here! They’re awesome. My son loves the prize he gets at the end!

Fantastic experience: The ENTIRE staff is amazing. All the receptionists are incredible! From the time you walk into the doors to the time you leave, they all give the welcoming and inviting environment and are so patient with every child. I have been committed to smart for 6 kids long!!!!!! Not once have i had a bad experience. No one competes. Provo and Spanish fork are my number one and two locations! It’s nice to go into a place where everyone is treated like a human! And shoutout to the best drs around! They work at Provo and Spanish fork! The secret is out!

Fantastic experience: We've never had any issue here. My kids look forward to going and always ask when the next appointment is a couple months in advance. The dentists and hygienists are always gentle and friendly. The dentist always explains potential concerns very thoroughly. The office is always clean and quiet. The wait is never very long.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Blankenship was very genuine and truly cared for us. My son had a tongue tie/lip tie he gave us his personal phone number in case anything happened. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: I can't rave enough about this place! My children LOVE Dr Ryan so much that they literally beg to go to the dentist. My 3 yo just had 2 fillings done and got in the car and told me, "Mom! That was so fun!" LOL UPDATE: see attached picture.... Do your kids hate going to the dentist? Then you probably have the wrong dentist. My now 8yo daughter excitedly made this countdown chain from pipe cleaners at her church activity to count down the days until her next dentist visit because she's SO excited! (Admittedly, I gave her the tooth drawings to cut out and attach-- which she was VERY excited about.) She said, "It's not even the prizes we get there or the movies we get to watch during, or the ice cream we get afterwards, I just really love going to the dentist!" Also, she doesn't have perfect teeth. She's had fillings and extractions and goes to each appointment with the same enthusiasm. A great dentist is SO hard to find and THIS is the place that will make kids develop a love for going to the dentist and for dental hygiene!! I only wish they accepted adult patients too....

Fantastic experience: This was my kids first experience at the dentist— they are 3 and almost 2. It was a great experience. Everyone was very kind and friendly. We got in quickly and they worked well with my kids and their worries. Dr Ryan was very good to listen to concerns and answer questions.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Archibald is very kind, knowledgeable, and explains things well. All the staff there have been very kind and great with our kids. Our kids actually like going to the dentist!

Fantastic experience: Best dentist and team ever!! Hands down one of the most amazing group of humans I’ve seen. They are so empathetic and caring. And they do amazing work!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely excellent in every way. Most friendly staff I’ve ever met, including front office, assistants and of course Dr Blankenship. They were so patient and kind with my daughter. Amazing atmosphere in the office and just overall incredible service.

Fantastic experience: The team is quick and thorough. They have tvs for the kids to watch a movie while getting their teeth cleaned and that helps them not get as nervous. Dr. Ryan is very friendly and kind and the kids are comfortable with him.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to this office for 10+ years! They are kind, polite and helpful. Once my daughter ran into a pole and broke her front tooth, they squeezed us in and fixed it same day. We’ve had zero problems with it. Another time my oldest daughter needed work done before her two year mission and they got the dental work done fast! Today my little guy needed to have teeth pulled. They got the job done perfectly! Dr. Ryan Blankenship Was kind and helpful as I asked questions! I always know we are in good hands when we come in!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Blankenship and his staff are just the best of the best. Dr. Blankenship is the most caring dentist around and you feel it the second you meet him. Can’t recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: First time taking our baby to them for a second opinion. They were amazing and so patient with baby. We are definitely staying with them for all her future dental health.

Fantastic experience: Smart Pediatrics is WONDERFUL! They are easy to get ahold of, the dentists, hygienists and receptionists are all friendly and good with kids, and the office is very modern (TVs in the ceiling make kids and dentists so much more compatible). I would recommend them to anyone at the drop of a hat!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love it ! The dentist always always makes my kid feel so comfortable! In fact today we were in and he told my daughter "not only are your teeth perfect all of you is perfect" he always gives that extra boost of self confidence she needs...

Negative experience: We were impressed with Dr Tidwell as he tried to give us multiple options that included conservative treatments and low cost options and didn’t charge for one temporary treatment we opted for. It cost us 1/3 what another dentist was going to charge! He let us schedule an emergency appointment even though he probably had to cancel other appointments and was patient explaining the options with us when we were anxious and tired from our child being up with tooth pain late at night and were indecisive. However he didn’t explain that the numbing q-tip would taste bad but that it was important to numb the pain from the shot, and that if we didn’t use laughing gas for a shot in the front upper teeth that it would be excruciatingly painful and our child screamed horribly and was so traumatized he was unwilling to get anymore cavities treated in the future and we weren’t allowed to switch dentists. The young manager guy took no responsibility for traumatizing our child and now he is unwilling to try laughing gas and our only option is to sedate him entirely. They won’t pay for the expensive anesthesia and the manager denied that the front teeth are more painful than the back teeth to give a numbing shot. He is ignorant and in it for the money. Dr. Judd was very professional. They won’t let us come back because I told the manager my feelings about his unsympathetic response and told him I would leave them a 1-star review. Then they banned us from all Smart Pediatric Dentist offices. Wow they don’t handle complaints very well. Apparently the dentist is always right, and don’t question him or their policies. It’s their way or the highway.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ryan is a fantastic dentist and also a very caring person. I highly recommend him for anyone who has a child with dental issues. My son had major dental work when he was a toddler, and he did such a great job making it easy and relaxing for both my son and me—who was also very nervous. To this day, my son loves the dentist and is happy to see Dr. Ryan. 11/10 recommend!

Fantastic experience: We really enjoy visits to Dr Ryan and his crew. We’ve been going there for years and appreciate their kind, helpful and knowledgeable people. We haven’t met anyone we didn’t like! We recently needed a an extraction and Dr Ryan had the tooth out before she even realized it was happening. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: We met with Dr. Ryan about a possible tongue tie release for our son. He was so kind and did not pressure us at all either way. Great experience.

Fantastic experience: Our experience was great! My 2 year old was so nervous but within minutes relaxed so much and left so happy! They knew just what to do and made us feel comfortable and heard and explained everything really well.

Fantastic experience: Doctor Judd and his amazing assistant are hands down the best. They took time to make sure my daughter was as comfortable as possible despite it being a very difficult visit for all! My kiddo got sick in the chair which they helped me clean up. She was shook up after and scared with lots of screams but they were so great and reassuring and all around amazing. I cannot recommend them enough especially if you have a little one that is extra nervous. Thank you, thank you for going above and beyond. We will not go anywhere else for pediatric dentistry.

Fantastic experience: Another visit another 5 stars! I think the gentleman that cleaned my little girls teeth this time is named Zack? He gets all the starts + some wonderful young man, really good with with kids! Great staff great doctor, clean and efficient. I love that they dont just "get in get out" but they take the time to educate my children about how to take care of their teeth while they are cleaning my kids teeth. And the doctor always makes them happy, He gives them complements about their teeth and often gives them an extra coin for a prize at the end of their visit which makes them so happy. He also takes time to explain things to me, like today I leaned what Mamelon teeth are and that one of my kids have them. He also explained what we can do in the future to "fix" it but he also let me know we dont have to because my kids teeth are healthy and strong and that's what's important. Anyways, good staff!

Fantastic experience: I love this office! The staff is always kind and helpful and they take so much care to help my kids feel comfortable and happy. I highly recommend Dr Ryan, he is above and beyond when it comes to what you want from a pediatric dentist as far as being a kind calming presence for sensitive kids and giving me all the information I need, even allowing me to text him photos when my daughter hurt her mouth on vacation.

Fantastic experience: Dr Blankenship is the BEST dentist. We have been his patients for 10 years, since my first son was almost a year. He is great with kids and excellent in general. We see him every 6 months to make sure my kids teeth are doing great. My kids LOVEEE to go to the dentist bc of him. The staff is awesome, the office is fun. I would hands down recommend Smart Pediatric

Fantastic experience: I’ve had two great experiences with Smart Pediatric Dentistry. When my baby was 15 months old, he chipped a tooth and now he is a little older and we had his first cleaning. The staff is warm and friendly, my child has felt relaxed and comfortable both times. We will keep going here as long as we’re in the area!

Fantastic experience: We’ve been seeing Dr. Ryan for years now and have always had pleasant experiences. Our visit today cemented how grateful I am to have him as our dentist. My daughter needed to get a tooth extracted unexpectedly and she was feeling so panicked and distraught about it. Dr. Ryan gave her all the time and space she needed to come to terms with the situation and was so patient and gentle in explaining what needed to happen. She went from “NO WAY!!” totally ready to bolt from the office to getting the tooth pulled with zero tears because he made her feel safe and like she could trust him. I’m so appreciative of the care Dr. Ryan and his team gave her during this procedure, but even more than that I’m so grateful that they gave her an opportunity to be brave and the encouragement she needed to try something difficult and scary for her. She’s feeling so proud of herself for that. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Fantastic experience: We absolutely love Dr.Ryan! He is perfect with the kids and going at their pace but being efficient! The dental hygienist's are so sweet and great as well!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love the whole staff at this location, they are so helpful and sweet! The Dentist and anesthesiologist were reassuring and accommodating, they are super good about giving you the whole rundown before and after procedures. Dentist visits for my autistic kiddo have been rather stressful in the past, and I do not experience that taking him. Even coming out of sedation, my little guy is still happy and smiling.

Fantastic experience: We have been coming to Blankenship for 11 years. He is phenomenal! The care he puts into my kids individually is deeply appreciated. Thank you so much. Our lives wouldn't be the same without him. Also his staff his super kind. We get in and out quickly everytime. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was very helpful and welcoming to both me and my kids. The staff and doctors went out of their way to accommodate my busy schedule to make sure my son’s teeth were taken care of and were understanding towards his extra needs. When we had to do sedation, the staff answered all of my questions and were fast and professional. They knew how to help my kids get through a tough situation and I am very grateful for everyone there.

Fantastic experience: We moved to UT and have been going to Smart Pediatrics for one year. Staff is helpful and professional. Little wait time for appointments. We have seen 3 Dentist at the Provo location. Each dentist has been friendly and explained dental care well to myself and children. Great experience every time!

Fantastic experience: Super clean place, engaging for the kids. They were very quick and to the point with my son. Which was nice considering I had two kids with me. Very nice people. I will be going back.

Fantastic experience: These guys are amazing To my kids have needed dentist work done as in caps and they are younger than five getting it so they do have to put them to sleep within anesthesia and being a mom and the first time it was super scary and The doctor here is amazing and they’re very good at communicating really know what’s going on before it happens if I didn’t have these guys and have them explain it the way they do it probably been a lot scarier and they’re really good with kids and parents! I’m a single mom low income and I asked the doctor if there was anyway you can help me get ibuprofen and Tylenol cause I don’t have very much heathen informed me that I can get a prescription with him to make it easier so my kid does not in pain at home. And also inform me that doctors that I go to, I can ask for those prescriptions as well . My baby after anesthesia and getting his teeth done.

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience here! My son is 10 months old and I brought him in for his first visit to check his existing teeth and I had a few questions about a few teeth that were coming in. The whole staff was wonderful, kind, and patient. I feel confident choosing them as my sons dentist

Fantastic experience: We LOVE this pediatric dentist office! I have four children who have never been anywhere else. They all love going to the dentist and have not been traumatized by any extra dental work needed (filled cavities, teeth pulled). We've even done a lip tie revision there with my then 3-week-old who went from not nursing at all to nursing beautifully in one day. They are gentle and work so well with the kids. They clearly know how to work with children. They know how to explain what is needed and what the options are to parents. I always recommend this office and Dr. Ryan to parents asking for pediatric dentist recommendations.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ryan Blankenship was born to do pediatrics and is seriously THE best dentist ever!! Our fam loves him so much! My kids have special needs so there can be a lot of anxiety taking them to appointments in general.. I’ve never been in an office like Smart Pediatrics in Provo. The staff is so awesome. Dr. Ryan personally could not be more down-to-earth, patient, kind, easy-going, personable or knowledgable. He is informative, and is great at explaining things in a very clear and non-pressuring way to parents. I love that he makes every kid feel so safe, taken care of and treats them like they are his absolute best friend!

Fantastic experience: Such a wonderful office! Best dentist for kids! My daughter can be a little nervous at the dentist but the staff are so sweet with her she is always put at ease. The office itself is fun a welcoming and Dr. Ryan is so great with her too. He is also really great about explaining and demonstrating to me as a mom how to help my kids keep their teeth clean and healthy. The TVs above the dental chairs are so helpful on distracting nervous little ones. My son had a tooth injury, and the office was so great about getting us in ASAP, and Dr. Ryan was so so good putting my little guy at ease. You should go here!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ryan Blankenship is the best pediatric dentist ever, and I'm not even exaggerating. He is SO good with kids & parents alike either for regular visits or for more in depth, stressful procedures...he calms everyone down with his caring nature & Golden Retriever energy. He's always smiling & I have told him a hundred times over that I wish he was my dentist too because he's that awesome. My youngest has sensory issues & he's so sweet & patient with her, working with her within her comfort level to do the exam, and I love that about him. I'm grateful he's not the "strap them down kicking & screaming" kind of pediatric dentist, and is so tender with little kids. He's the best, and if you want your kiddos to have the best dentist, look no further and go to him. He's been our children's dentist for 11 years now, & we will not go to anyone else.

Negative experience: Dr. Archibald was not very nice this last time. It was the first time we've gone in for anything other than a cleaning, and the first time I've had any negative experiences with this place. My son's adult tooth came in behind, and the baby tooth wasn't coming out. As someone who had to have extractions for that same reason, as a child, I was concerned. We just popped in really quickly without an appointment (it was not very busy) and the hygienist was amazing. But then he came out, obviously in a rush, didn't even greet us or ask questions and completely ignored the hygienist. He proceeds to go on about how this is part of growing up and he could get the tooth out in 2 seconds, (it took more like 20 seconds with my son groaning with pain). Although his words and tone were nice, his manner was rushed and frustrated that we even came in. It was like he was scolding me and my 6 year old. I would hope that smart pediatric dentistry would encourage people to come in when they are concerned and have it be nothing, instead of not coming in and having it be a big problem. (The pediatrician never makes us feel bad for when we come in and it only happens to be a virus.) I wish I had stood up for my son or asked to see a different dentist. I just hope by posting this, it can be addressed, and no other mom need feel bad for having a concern about her child in the future.

Fantastic experience: We have had nothing but great experiences with Dr. Ryan (Blankenship) at Smart Pediatrics Density. He is kind, thorough and makes going to the dentist a fun experience. I love that he is always willing to talk if you have questions and genuinely is the nicest person. I recommend this office to anyone with kids.

Fantastic experience: I was nervous to bring my son in for a procedure that required sedation, but they did a great job explaining everything and making me feel comfortable and secure about it all. I am grateful that they made it such a positive experience for my son, and not anything traumatic or even remotely scary. My son is now excited to go back to the dentist again! Fantastic experience: Truly the best office I’ve ever taken my daughter to. The staff is all so kind and welcoming. They’ve made my daughter feel so comfortable. She asks to come back to see the dentist she typically sees. We moved to a different city but will make the drive here for the staff and amazing experience. I will never change dentists or offices!

Fantastic experience: This is such a fun place! I went here with my little 3 year old and he was obsessed. From the arcade games in the lobby to the movie on the ceiling he was hooked. He did surprisingly well and reacted super well to the cleaning and exams. The staff is really fun with the kids and helps them feel at ease. 10/10 would recommend!

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a great pediatric dentist, this is the place! My 3yr old son is needing to have a dental procedure that requires sedation. I wanted to be able to view him (either through a window, camera, really anything, just as long as I had eyes on him) while he was sedated during the procedure especially. with him being asleep and a minor. I am extremely protective in this sense and just didn’t feel comfortable being in this type of situation regarding my child. Our previous 2 dentist required that he go to a surgical center that didn’t allow any kind of view of patients while doing cavity fillings (a smaller and quicker procedure I’ve been told), but with Smart Pediatric Dentistry, they allowed in office procedures this allowed me to view my son through a big window and I couldn’t MORE GRATEFUL!! Not only that, but their office is clean and for the kids! It has such an inviting and fun vibe that helps the kids (and parents) feel comfortable being there. I can’t say that for ANY of the 3+ previous dental offices we used to go to. Staff were kind and had great chemistry with each other, and I could go on. Thank you, thank you, thank you Smart Pediatrics. You have no idea how grateful I am to you if I could give more stars I would. Couldn’t recommend more.

Fantastic experience: We love Smart Pediatric Dentistry! I have a neurodivergent 4 year old and they are so patient and kind with him. Super flexible too- Dr. Ryan knows what he's doing. I highly reccomend Smart Pediatric in Provo!

Fantastic experience: I've been bringing my 2 children here since they were small. I looked at reviews and did my research before selecting Dr. Blankenship and the staff at Smart Pediatric Dental as my kiddos didn't have normal teeth and needed special attention and care. Smart Dental and the team make the kids so comfortable and the kids actually look forward to going to appointments. The kids needed extensive work also as they have my bad teeth genes. My poor kiddos enamel fell apart as soon as their teeth grew in so not easy work, but Dr Blankenship has always worked hard to save each tooth. The work has always been done very professionally and the kiddos have always bounced back quick with little discomfort. Great competent Doctor and team. Won't be going anywhere else and would highly recommend Smart Dental in Provo.

Fantastic experience: I've been taking my kids to Smart Pediatric Dentistry for years. The atmosphere is fun and light, and all the staff make my kids feel comfortable. I love the beach and Disney decor! And the tvs above every chair so my kids can focus on something else while getting their teeth worked on. I have a difficult child who is afraid of a lot of things, and they take great care of her and have a lot of patience. Thank you so much for making sure all my kids get their dental needs met!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Smart for 13 years with my children. They always give us the very best service and care. Some of my children have disabilities and before I went to Smart, I was always having trouble getting dental care that worked for us. But Dr. Blankenship and his staff put them at ease.

Positive experience: The hygienist was not nice at all. She needs to keep in mind highly over sensitive kids. Things that maybe “normal” to her other kids, isn’t so much for other kids. When kids are squirming in their chair, take that as a sign to maybe give them a couple of minutes. I get that the Dr is in a time frame but my kids have been coming here for years.! We love Dr Ryan.

Fantastic experience: Everyone here is so good with kids! I have been blown away with how kind and patient they are will all four of my littles. I have been very impressed and even though I don’t live super close anymore, I still drive my kids to see them because not all Smart Pediatric Dentists are the same.

Fantastic experience: Great and friendly office! Waited with kids in the front where they had a movie going and an arcade game. Definitely helps with keeping the kids distracted. Then we had a great experience working with the staff. They were patient and responsive when our kid got fussy or curious about everything.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ryan and his techs always do a good job making us feel welcome, as well as with performing each treatment with care. The pano xray is extra helpful with seeing all teeth and roots, and helping predict over crowding and unique development. Dr. Ryan also makes sure we understand what is going on and makes helpful suggestions. His manner does make a difference in encouraging kids to take better care of their teeth. We especially love “No cavities!”

Fantastic experience: Best pediatric dentist around!!! We shopped around. We actually went to different pediatric dentist offices to see what they were all about. Honestly I didn't believe pediatric dentists were necessary. But my youngest needed some special care and when we found Dr Ryan it was an instant fit. He is talented, caring, and so very patient!! BEST PEDIATRIC DENTIST AROUND!! Update- We continue to love Dr. Ryan! He is always so happy and genuine. He takes time to explain what he is doing and to answer any questions and concerns. We have been coming here for 8 years and have never had a bad experience both in the front of the office and the back. Amazing practice Amazing staff!!! THANK YOU!!!

Fantastic experience: Today when Leo saw Dr Ryan he jumped and gave him a hug - this is the kind of man Dr Ryan is - my 3 yr old felt so comfortable she climbed in the chair herself. No question about honesty at this office. No surprise procedures to make them more money and you have to question whether they are necessary or not. Fantastic experience: All of the staff are very good with children, but I have never had a healthcare professional make me feel as comfortable as Dr. Ryan does. I wish he could be my dentist. Appointments go very quickly, and typically the only time we really spend in the waiting room is after the appointment because my son wants to play the arcade games.

Fantastic experience: We LOVE Dr Blankenship! He is the best! We’ve been going to smart pediatrics dentistry for 16 years now (4 kids, 4 different personalities). We first started in American Fork, then went to the Provo location when we moved to Provo. When Dr Blankenship joined the group we lucked out! He remembers all of his regular patients by name (even when we have ran into him in other places, not at work he knows who we are), he is always positive and friendly,, he keeps up with the latest techniques in his field, he always tries to make the minimum damage to the tooth if there is a cavity (less invasive, I should say). The staff is amicable and capable. They are prompt to correct any billing error if there are any, they have a good grasp of what insurance will cover (though it is not their responsibility to know that in detail, they always are very close to the real numbers); etc. 10/10. Highly recommended! Best pediatric dentist we have had for sure. Even my young adult kids love him and would love to continue seeing him for as long as possible. You won’t go wrong with them, at least the Provo office is like that for sure.

Fantastic experience: Our daughters have been going to Dr. Ryan since the very beginning of their lives. We absolutely love him! One of our daughters had a lip tie and we got it lasered at a month old and he was absolutely amazing! Our girls love having their teeth cleaned by Cindy! She puts them at ease and has a calming presence. We would absolutely recommend smart pediatric dental as well as Dr. Ryan and Cindy! They both are great at explaining things to our daughters in terms that they can understand to where they know what’s going to happen and it’s not scary for them! We have had nothing but amazing experiences at this office! Update 3/24/24: We still LOVE going to this office. Dr Ryan is super communicative, helpful and you can always contact him if you ever have a concern or issue after hours. My mom mind is so relieved that we have Dr Ryan for all of our kids Oral Healthcare! AMAZING office staff as well!

Fantastic experience: We came for both of our boys. The baby ( 1 week at the time) needed a minor surgery for a tongue tie and they took care of it right on the spot! The second one was very fidgety and worried. They kept a soothing tone and eased all his fears despite him being in pain. The experience made it so much easier for him to accept care and he is now willing to come back. All around an amazing dental office and care team

Fantastic experience: Dr.Archbald has been great with my kids. He’s friendly, competent, and explains things well to both kids and parents. I especially like how often I’ve heard him say, “I would (or would not) do (xyz) if it were my kid.” We had one very tentative kid, who had previous dental trama. She’s no longer scared of the dentist, thanks to Dr. Archibald and the hygienists.

Fantastic experience: We have been going to Dr. Ryan Blankenship for over 10 years. He's fantastic with the kids. Anna, his receptionist, is so wonderful. Their whole office staff and their hygienists are great with the kids. Dr. Ryan is always conservative in his treatments to keep them practical and cost effective for kids. We absolutely adore him. He's so good, and my kids are so comfortable, that this last week, my 17-year old took my 10 and 8 year old to their annual cleaning without me even needing to be there. I absolutely love Smart Pediatric! ❤️

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend this office and staff enough. Dr. Archibald is everything you’d want as your child’s dentist and more. The assistants are amazing and so kind as well. They put my kids at ease and thanks to them I’m happy to say my kids love going to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: LOVED smart pediatric. We live in heber and needed to find a dentist for my 4 year old and that offers sedation for cavities. They are super friendly. My little boy was nervous but warmed right up because the staff was so kind and wonderful! I highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: We had a fabulous experience here today. I brought in my 4yo who is highly sensitive and very cautious and my 2yo who was hot off a major tantrum (i.e. screaming still while we were parking), both who were first time dentist-goers. It could not have gone smoother! I so appreciated the way everyone interacted with my children, and my kids left asking when we can go again! Definite win today.

Fantastic experience: Dr Ryan Blankenship is a phenomenal dentist. He took the time to build rapport with my very anxious child and now he's not afraid to go to the dentist at all. Dr Ryan is so respectful and aware of kids different comfort levels and it's made a life changing difference for my family. The hygienists are all incredible too!
