St. David's Emergency Center - Circle C

Positive experience: Took good care of my son and got him stitched up. Warning to any patients paying bills through their online bill pay. The site does not reflect the amount you have already paid at the front desk and it will attempt to overcharge you when you go to make an online payment. If the payment had not errored out and forced me to call I would have paid way more than I was supposed to. I have notified Round Table Physicians Group and they are aware of it. Call to make your payments and wait for the bill to come in ... but be careful as the bill always had the incorrect amount at the top in "Amount Due".

Negative experience: We really miss SignatureCare. Now that St. David's has taken over it's been a huge disappointment. All of these reviews are from SignatureCare fyi. Even though we're right down the street we won't be coming here again. They have long waits, don't seem to be in a rush when your loved one is in extreme pain and the latest? The Dr (Weston) said my loved one was "giving red flag" vibes bc he's been here a lot. SignatureCare always supported us in his journey. Ridiculous.

Fantastic experience: My family has had several very good experiences with Signature Care when we did not think the typical urgent care clinic was sufficient. For example, last month's problem required special imaging. They told us they were being bought by HCA starting May. Sadly, after experiences with HCA and St Davids in Houston and Austin, my first thought was I hope they don't foul this up like Hogan's Goat.

Fantastic experience: My husband recently had a health issue and we visited this Signature Care Emergency Center. We were impressed with the care and prompt attention from Dr. Elsbecker and the rest of the staff in the office (nurse, radiology technician, etc). Thank you for making this a much better experience under this difficult situation. Your professionalism and personal touch was really appreciated!

Fantastic experience: Such an amazing resource. Every person there is kind and efficient. In and out for my son potentially needing stitched in under an hour. There is never a wait, and they are all very attentive.

The facility was clean, well-organized, and clearly focused on patient care. I'm incredibly grateful for the treatment I received and highly recommend this clinic to anyone in need of prompt and quality emergency care.

Fantastic experience: Brought my girlfriend mother here due to some issues in regards to her lower abdomen and nausea (among other issues) to this E Center and the folks did a great job in regards to getting everything back on the scans. The only thing is they did stick her for IV and blood work and missed. I just hope she was alright when that occurred. Overall, friendly staff and a very quiet night that I'm glad can be resolved with some basic medicine that can help her on her way.

Fantastic experience: Dr. John Rankin, Julio, and Erin delivered prompt quality care with a friendly, professional, and confidence-inspiring capability. In spite of it being a busy Sunday night after most other urgent care facilities were closed, and needing stitches and x-rays, check-in and check-out with Jose was fast and simple, and I was in and out in a fraction of the time of most ER's. Facility was easy to access/park and seemed immaculately sterile and clean, with positive pressure exam bays. While I hope to not need their services again, I would highly recommend. (They impressed me enough to share this review which is only the 3rd or 4th one in 20+ years that I have taken the time to publicly post.)

Fantastic experience: ‘Hey going to the emergency room this weekend sounds like fun’ said no one ever. As great of an experience as we could expect to have at an emergency room on a Saturday evening considering what brought us to an emergency room on a Saturday evening. We were seen right away, staff was friendly and the visit was efficient.

Fantastic experience: My husband developed chest pain and a fever early morning and he went in to the ER. He was seen almost immediately, the doctor took her time to get to know him and his condition and diagnosed him immediately. Dr. Jessica Swanson was very kind and patient. So lucky to have them so close to us in Circle C

Fantastic experience: They took great care of me. Quick visit and appreciated Ditavious the nurse for getting me back on track

Negative experience: Update: Total visit was billed at $11K for IV fluids, anti-nausea and a Gatorade. Like other patients, included was $500 charge for a pregnancy test (neither authorized nor medically relevant) Insurance negotiated rate was ~$2K. Just wanted to share what to expect for anyone without highly comprehensive insurance. Fast, caring, thorough and left feeling so much better - will definitely consider returning for any future urgent care needs. Rick did such a great job making sure I was comfortable the entire time.

Fantastic experience: I recently went here for a laceration. I was here 2 other times in the past 5 years, one broken foot for me, and an injured arm for my partner. Even though we recently moved away from this location, I chose to back to this place for my laceration because I remembered the staff being so amazing. They were all so great yet again, I decided to finally write a review. The facility is really nice to start. Everything is new and welcoming. They have snacks/water/coffee on offer, and offer you a warm blanket no matter why you are there. The staff is not only kind and warm, but every time we have been, they have also been very capable and knowledgeable. All in all, I would give this place 6 stars if I could. Fantastic experience: I came in for abdominal pain and my Nurse Ditavious and Dr.Elsbecker were amazing answered all questions and had me in and out within 35 mins the best ER experience I have ever had!!!

Fantastic experience: I came in with severe back pain, I thought I had a uti that reached my kidneys but I was wrong! Thankfully the doctor and nurses noticed the pain in my back was pretty severe and walking was near impossible, I didn't even have to speak up for them to understand something else was wrong. After running tests and coming back negative for a uti I was diagnosed with 1 day prior elsewhere, they called in for a ct. They made sure I had good pain meds while immediately checking the results and helping me get scheduled for an appendectomy surgery. Thank you for listening when your patients are in pain and taking necessary steps to find the solution I had surgery shortly after that day and everything was handled so smoothly!

Fantastic experience: My family and I have been coming to this ER for years now because I absolutely love it. I’ve never had a bad experience. They are always quick to get me back and the staff is kind and caring. Today I came in for undiagnosed shoulder/back pain and everyone was very supportive. Shanice at the front desk was prompt and made check in very easy. My nurse, Ditavious was really nice and had a relaxing presence which was great, especially when he had to give me a muscle relaxing shot. Dr. LeBeouf was knowledgeable, patient, and explained my options thoroughly. Last but not least, the radiology tech, Keith was very gentle with me and did not take long to get the images he needed. I’m always pleased with the quality of care and treatment here and highly recommend Signature Care for any and every ailment.

Fantastic experience: My son and I arrived at approximately 11:30 PM and were attended to within ten minutes of our arrival. Dr. Miller and Nurse Erin were exceptionally kind and provided excellent care for my son. Their communication was clear and effective, and by the time we left, my son was feeling much better. The diagnosis and treatment were conveyed thoroughly, making the entire process seamless. I appreciate your professionalism and dedication to care.

Negative experience: Initially we were very pleased with this clinic. We came and there was no wait they were quick and efficient, even kind. We came because we are self pay and we needed to know what it would cost. Before we admitted we asked how much it would cost and they told us they had tiers based on what was needed the highest being $1600.00. We knew very well it would probably be the $1600.00 since they did a lot of tests and I was given saline and antibiotics. I was very sick and they said o needed to go straight to the hospital. Then they took more blood did two ct scans and many other things. We paid the $1600.00 and left to go the hospital, which they had set up for us…. They at no time informed us that it would cost any more. A week later I called them and they said I owed them $32,000.00! I was in shock the hospital didn’t even cost that much. It was unreal. I asked for an itemized bill and they said to go to the clinic to pick it up, which I did…. $15 for two Tylenol, $10 for one Tylenol, $11k for saline fluid…. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Besides changing me for a pregnancy test ($650) which I told them I wasn’t pregnant and couldn’t be. When I told the receptionist that no one told me that it would be any more than the 1600, she said “well they should have… I am not sure why they didn’t… are you self pay??? Oh that’s why…. And yes they should have told you that it turned into emergency prices, you can pay it off.” I am beyond frustrated with them especially since they decided to do every test under the sun to try to get as much money out of me that they could once it became an “emergency situation” they didn’t tell us that each test would cost, they didn’t let us even have a choice on tests…. They didn’t extra tests even after saying I would have to go the hospital which were a waste because the hospital had to do them too. Please do not go here if you are self pay…. They will take advantage of you!!!!!

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing! Everyone is super nice, attentive, and genuinely caring. There’s no waiting for hours like at a hospital ER. Special mention to Nurse Ditavious, Dr. Rose, ER Tech Reece, and Shanice in the Front Desk. I’m about a 30-minute drive away, but I always choose to come here because the care is exceptional, always leave feeling much better. and the pricing is super reasonable compared to hospital ERs. Dr. Swanson took the time to thoroughly explain each result, both the positive and negative findings, making sure I understood everything clearly. The efficiency of the team, combined with their genuine care, made what could have been a stressful experience remarkably smooth and reassuring. I was in and out much faster than I expected, feeling confident in the care I received. I’m deeply grateful for the outstanding service and would highly recommend this ER and Dr. Swanson to anyone in need.

Negative experience: Confirmed they would bill as urgent care prior to our appointment, they collected our copay, and then re-billed as an ER visit months after the fact- charging tens of thousands of dollars for a nasal swab and a cold checkup and sending us a bill for thousands of dollars.

Negative experience: Go to any other urgent care, there are many nearby. We were specifically told, and confirmed repeatedly that our non-emergency visit would be billed as an urgent care visit, only to be surprise billed for thousands of dollars months later when they re-billed it as an ER visit. The billing department is non existent and there is no management.

Fantastic experience: Phenomenal experience. Quick, simple and easy way to get help…staff was great and it was Christmas Day. In and out in less than a hour. Dr Rose, Ditavious, Keith were great! Will be coming back if the need arises.

Fantastic experience: Ditavious was my nurse. He did an amazing job giving me my shot of steroids, he was very gentle and kind towards me. Dr. Rose, I’ve seen before and she is ALWAYS quick and to the point…which I love. She is so caring and a true delight to see even when I’m under the weather.

Fantastic experience: I visited SignatureCare for a scary emergency, and the nurses all ensured it didn't feel like a scary emergency. I am very thankful of their kindness and friendliness. I also very much appreciated their surprisingly very warm blankets! The team joked that people come just for the blankets, but they're not kidding, those blankets are a blessing. Hopefully, I won't have to visit again, but if I do, I know I'll be in good hands. Thank you!

Dr Dod Took excellent care of my little one when he had his accident in the playground wonderful bedside manner everybody super sweet, very professional and helpful. The places is impeccable and they made sure my seven-year-old was very comfortable the entire time every single time we have come. Negative experience: I went in for back/shoulder/arm pain due to a work-related injury and recieved little to no help or pain relief. After a very minimal examination, no x-ray, no touching or even looking at the injury (she just had me rotate my arm and even got frustrated that I wasn't rotating it in the exact manner she wanted me to, almost as if I was wasting her time... it's like, perhaps I'm trying but I'm injured? Haha) the doctor prescribed me ibuprofen and prednisone for the inflamation...(I'm a full grown man and could've used some actual pain medication, at minimum, to help me sleep and for pain relief, you can get ibuprofen anywhere; or atleast some type of diagnosis would've been great, I still don't know what's wrong with my body. She may as well have prescribed me some Flinstones vitamins) I was charged 300 dollars and sent home. I figured, okay, maybe the doctor knew what she was doing and this will be enough. Nope. No help or relief. I walked back in a couple weeks later, still in the same boat, and asked to speak to the doctor to hopefully get a legitimate prescription, happy to pay a surcharge fee, they said "no." I'd have to pay another 300 dollars for another examination. Ultimately, not a great place for walk-ins. Maybe it would be better to go here if you had a severe emergency. I would rate it a one star, but since their staff other than the doctor was so kind, and it was a comfortable/clean environment, I'll give them a two star. Very unhappy with their treatment, because their job as medical professionals is to help people, and I received none. Just a quick robbery and sent home with some over the counter meds. Long story short, I would've been much-much better off not going there and wasting my money. I'm still at square one, no diagnosis and constant pain.

Fantastic experience: We were helped immediately, everyone was extremely kind and understanding. At no point did we feel judged (which can happen a lot in medical settings), or rushed. It was a lovely experience, 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had fallen while playing basketball with our kids and hurt my hip. The full staff at Signature was so warm and accommodating. I had a great experience with Ditavious, Keith and Dr. Weston. They were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: I was impressed. I went in thinking I had food poisoning/norovirus and just needed nausea meds and IV rehydration. Surprise nope. They did a series of tests and determined that I had a bowel blockage and then proceeded to pull three liters of bile from my stomach. Sent me to Seton (check your insurance before you are sent as mine is out of network, lesson learned). I can't thank Dr. Rose, Deda, and Nancy enough. Super nice facility, fast testing, and superior diagnosis based on those tests. Highly recommend. The cost with United insurance was $300 but it saved me additional pain and troubleshooting. If Dr. Rose opens a practice, then I will jump in a heartbeat. She's gooood.

Fantastic experience: On a really bad day - the people here were tremendously helpful. Serious, calm, and confident. From Celino on the front desk, swift and polite. Ditavious my Nurse was reassuring and knowledgable, Radiology Technologist Townesend was great. Dr. Swanson was friendly, kind, and explained everything with clarity. She confirmed diagnosis with a few tests before organizing transfer for the necessary surgery, and administered treatments to keep me stable until it was time to go. Tremendously grateful for the care, thank you.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited SignatureCare Emergency Center and, despite being “that patient” who tested their skills, had a great experience. Dr. Leboeuf, along with Ditavious, Keith, Reece, and Mari, provided exceptional care with great care, patience, kindness, and amazing bedside manner. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Fast, courteous, competent, friendly, excellent help. Took care of my issues and made it seem easy. Dr. Otten, Nurse Mike, Townsend and Celino were great. Made being sick not so bad. Cool thing is they can test for 15 illnesses with one nasal swab!

Negative experience: Edit: after predicted, emailing them (per the "response from owner") yielded no response. It's so hard to write this review. The staff were nothing but kind to my pregnant wife (who came in with excess vomiting). But for 1L of saline (yes, saltwater) and 3 hours of resting in a bed plus 15 min of a doctor's time, $16,000 is a bit much, isn't it? Sure, our insurance negotiated it down to $1,600, but does nobody see anything wrong with this? I'm sure I'll get a form response "We care very much about your experience, please call us," but does anyone believe they're going to do anything about fixing this? (Not to mention, last time I called, their phone system was awful. I'm not even sure I'll get through to anybody.) Such a shame, because like I said, the staff were amazing. But next time, I think I might choose to bleed out instead of risking a heart attack over these prices.

Fantastic experience: Love this staff. I come here for all my needs and always met with a smile and very thorough. Nurse Reece Ditavious, Dr. Sides and radiology, Townsend were so nice and made me feel comfortable in spite of my pain for why I was there.

Fantastic experience: Received excellent quality of care by knowledgeable, caring staff who went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable during our visit. Admission process was quick, testing and examination was thorough. A diagnosis was received relatively quickly and discharge info given. Unlike other facilities, there was no waiting around and no need to wonder whether you’d been forgotten about. The facility itself is clean, comfortable and inviting. This is our go to in case of an emergency!

Fantastic experience: Great experience today with Dr. Swanson, Dr Townesend and nurse Ditavious! Their facility manager Mike and Celino at the front desk were very helpful and got us back to be seen very quickly. This is not our first time here and I’m sure it won’t be our last. Not only did they charge me close to 70-80% more than any other surrounding clinics in the area, the "doctor" saw me for less than 5 minutes, didn't perform any additional tests that most clinics would suggest and sent me on my way. Fast forward to today where I received a bill for $3,813.42 with my already paid $250 payment made back in March. WHAT IS THIS? I'm going to assume that this is some sort of scam being run by whoever's in charge of this branch or they have something else fishy going on. If this is a mistake, it's a pretty big one. I would AVOID THIS LOCATION and visit another clinic nearby. St. David's has an emergency clinic that my wife went to during the same time I was sick and charged her $160, gave her adequate care and also tested for the illnesses described. I cannot believe the amount of positive reviews this spot has received given this extremely negative experience I had. UPDATE RESPONSE TO "OWNER": I called your location prior to coming on site, described my symptoms and was NEVER informed that a bill of this magnitude would come my way nor was I informed that I would be charged in addition to the $250 fee that I paid. Your business practices deceptive tactics to bring people in and purposely not disclose what will eventually become a large headache. Also, at no time were my symptoms before or after visiting your clinic deemed as "life threatening" or an "emergency". With that said, the bill I was sent will absolutely be fought in court. GOOD LUCK!

Fantastic experience: I had to come I for an allergic reaction. The care team (Ditavious, Reece, Townsend, Mike) were all fantastic! Everything was super quick and everyone was really helpful.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful visit started with a smooth and easy check-in with Celino. Ditavious our nurse put in the IV line so quickly - one of the easiest I’ve ever had. Townsend our radiology tech was knowledgeable and efficient. Finally, the doctor, Dr Elsbecker, was amazing. Explained everything so well and it felt like he had all the time in the world for us.

Fantastic experience: This was my second time here I really appreciate the effort and the amazing care I received. Immediately the nurse, Ditavious, was very supportive and helped meet my needs. When I needed a x-ray, the radiologist was very kind, gentle, and helped me put my mind at ease. The physician, Dr. Elsbecker, was so helpful he explained everything so thoroughly and was really patient with me when I didn’t understand something. His soft smile reminded me that everything was going to be ok. I really appreciated everyone here and hopefully nothing happens to me or anyone but this is the one place I need to recommend to them. Fantastic experience: I came in with my son for a fever, vomiting and severe fatigue. They were very thorough and took X-rays and blood tests to find out he had strep throat and pneumonia. Townesend, Dr Leoubuff, Mike & all the staff Great experience. They took great care of my son.

Fantastic experience: I went to Signature Care for an injured shoulder on a Saturday evening. I was promptly greeted and assisted in filling out the paperwork. I was taken to the room quickly. Everyone was very courteous and professional. I was in and out in a couple of hours. I would definitely recommend this place for emergency care. Thank you to everyone. Kudos om your teamwork.

Fantastic experience: Townesend, Mike, Dr Swanson and everyone else were amazing. The whole staff was making sure I was feeling better. They were all friendly and nice at my son and husband while they were waiting for me. We will definitely go back if we ever need they services again

Fantastic experience: I've been here a few times for various reasons and I always appreciate the care we get. The facility is always clean and the doctors are friendly. Our nurse this time was Ditavious and he was a calming presence throughout our stay. Hopefully won't need to come back too soon, but if I do I know I'll be taken care of.

Fantastic experience: Came in for a very sore throat the staff was excellent Celine was amazing! and explained everything to me and was super kind! Highly recommend Ditavious he was my nurse and made me feel comfortable and heard. The facility manager Mike was wonderful as well and the doctor is a champion and very helpful!
