Fantastic experience: Very appealing environment and excellent staff.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time ever going to this dentist office. Everyone that I had contact with was very nice, very friendly and very professional, except the one who made my next appointment. Personally, I think she could have been more friendly and at least smile. Other than her, I will consider this dentist office, as my new dentist office. I had to get my tooth refill. The doctor was awesome Dr. Carvaia. I would recommend her. The person that was working with the doctor was not as friendly. My bib was left on me. The financial person removed it. Even the financial person was very nice, very helpful and very professional. Diana, the receptionist was fantastic. Diana always makes me feel very welcome. Diame, my hygienic is very good, very nice and very professional. I have never been to a doctor office or a dentist office were everyone is very nice, very helpful, and very professional. I personally don't care about going to the dentist, but this office makes me feel very special. I must say that the doctor helper was much friendly this time than before. I thank God for blessing me to change dentist office, because I am very pleased with the way that I am treated. Not that I wasn't treated nice before, but I just feel comfortable with this dentist and everyone in the office. I have said it before and I will say it again Diana the receptionist is so sweet and nice. I have been to the Dental Office of Homestead more than one time. On this visit I can truly say that everyone was very nice, and very professional. Diana is always very nice and very professional. I would like to thank Janet, the financial person for taking the time to explain to me what would be best for me. Janet, was awesome. My dentist is very good, very nice, very helpful, and very professional. Dr. Cavaria is the best. I mentioned how the assistant left my bib on. I must say that she is much better than my first visit. Hopefully I will get her name. I must say EVERYONE is very friendly at this Dental office. I have been to this dentist office more than once, and each time it gets better and better. I thank God for blessings me to choose this dentist office. Everyone is friendly and kind. At first I know that I didn't say that, but now I really feel welcomed. The receptionist there is out of this world, with her kindness and professionalism. I love my doctor, Dr. Amanda Carvira, her assistant Rosie, the financial officer Janet. I don't know all the young ladies names that check me out, but everyone there is friendly, kind and polite. I don't think anyone likes going to the dentist. Going to this office has put all my fears away. From my dentist, her assistant, to the receptionist, the person who cleans my teeth twice a year, the financial person, and even when checking out, everyone in this office is very nice, very helpful and very professional. I don't mine seeing the dentist.

Negative experience: I can and will only speak to my personal experience. I have been seen by both military and civilian dentists. Never have I been so disappointed and offended by a dentist. My provider was Dr. Chui. Although he seems knowledgeable, his extremely poor bedside manner, immature communication, and unprofessioanlism overshadows this aspect. I came for two fillings. After he had "completed" the work, I advised that something felt off about one of the fillings. He was out the door and on to the next patient. The assistant attempted to help by polishing the filling, which resulted in some relief. The next few days, I noticed that food was getting stuck in my teeth... very noticeably. This was an issue I've never had before, and I was having a lot of sensitivity. I went to another dentist who advised that the first filling looked good, and perhaps I should go back and ask them to polish it more and take another look at both fillings. I went back, and Dr. Chui's attitude was even worse than before. After I explained my issues, he advised that he could redo the second filling and harshly handed me three mini tubes in Sensodyne. After making a crass comment, he walked out of the room mid sentence while I was replying. The dental assistant stayed and polished down the first filling more after she noticed that there was, in fact, a small ledge where my tooth and the filling composite met. Two days later, I noticed that the second filling had a small hole in it where the filling composite should be... Humm, I wonder if that's why I had sensitivity there . Since I already paid for the filling, I have to go back for them to fix it. So not only was my customer service experience extremely poor but my service was subpar. The only saving grace so far was the second dental assistant I encountered on my last visit. She was wonderful. **Update** I spoke with Antonia the office manager and she was wonderful. Extremely professional and kind. We are working to resolve the issue with my filling. Another dentist will be completing the service.

Positive experience: Staff was friendly , Doctors were professional I found the office acceptable . My only complaints was staff was congregating outside treatment room conversing too loud in another language, and judging by the laughter and lightness of the conversation it had nothing to do with their work.

Fantastic experience: This tooth extraction was the worst experience I have had at this office. The person who set up the appointment with my insurance company didn't do anything to help me. She just gave me the full cost. The Doctor has no bed side care. The Nurse was just the same.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time at this particular dentist and I can say it was a wonderful experience without hesitation! The waiting time was very short, around 15 minutes after my scheduled appt time! Both the dental hygienist and the dentist herself were very polite and professional; they immediately took x-rays, got me into a room, and dentist was there within 5 mins to look them over, ask questions, examine my teeth personally, explain the problem areas and come up with a plan of care!

Positive experience: Overall the staff was really great. The Dr. was super fast with the procedure, but he was in and out of the room so quickly. It didn't seem like there was a lot of 'bedside' manner' with this one- he was there to get the job done as quickly as possible.

Fantastic experience: Had the same dentist for decades and he retired. Took trying a few till I found a great dentist to continue my care. Everyone has been awesome. Had a crown crack and even when they were off the office had another take care of it right away.

Fantastic experience: I always have a great experience when I go to Dental associates of Homestead. The ladies at the front desk are knowledgeable and greet me with a smile every time. Ana the dental hygienist did an awesome job. Dr. Silvestry has been my dentist for more than 20 years and I trust him with my teeth. I thank every one from the front desk to the dentist and hygienist for making me feel comfortable

Positive experience: The dental assistant made me take a million x-rays. I only had to take 5 in my last dentist. They also couldn't give me a cleaning on the day I went because they said my 4 pm appointment was too late and the dental hygienists were leaving. Then why give me a 4 pm appointment if you are not going to honor all of the services.

Positive experience: Professional ~ Kind staff and patience on the general dentist side! The surgeon side can use some class on customer service esp that girl at the front desk! She’s very condescending! Parking isn’t ideal on Mondays, Tuesday or Fridays. The office is clean and organized Hard to give an accurate review when they have 2 office with very different customer service styles! There are some very nice women in that office~ I left this office years ago and returned to give them another shot due to location being near my home! I’ll return will an update after a few visits! *Honorable mention ~ The surgeon Dr.Grider is hands down one of the best in Miami Dade. He was kind and caring during surgery and explained what he was doing as he worked his way through. The extractions were so quick and he tells you when he’s removed each one. It almost took 30 minutes to remove 3 teeth. That’s impressive! This office has a lot of talent but Dr.Grider has sold me on a more positive experience with dental visit and services! I was so nervous from past experiences but he really made me change my outlook on dentist appointments!

Fantastic experience: Towncare Dental has provided professIonal services for both the Dentist Dr. Chiu and Dental Hygenist. They are very consistent and efficient. The office staff are pleasant and patient even during their busy moments. Although I have not used the longtime Credit Care card account for quite awhile, the office staff was successful with account access to make my costly dental service payment. Also, I was fortunate to receive a call from the Hygenist within few minutes after my appointment time.

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff. First time in today with my daughter who needs her wisdom teeth removed and they explained everything in detail. No wait time and was seen right away. We were seeing the dentist on the 3rd floor and it was Horrible. Thank God my husband googled and found this new place located in the same plaza. Such a different vibe.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Suresh explained why I was in pain. The area around the wisdom tooth extracted was not completely healed. There is a need for a root canal procedure.

Negative experience: I came for a referral to see an orthodontic at another location and Dr. Rodriguez laughed at my face and said good luck. My insurance covers ortho but their medical biller didn’t even bother to check if my insurance covers ortho she automatically just said they Won’t cause of age. Worst service ever. They need to do their job better.

She makes coming to the dentist to have my teeth cleaned ann absolute pleasure and not many people can say that. Thank you Ana for being so Wonderful Every time I come. I was very scared and embarrassed to even go into public without a mask, or let alone smile. Dr Mithen Suresh did a wonderful job to recover my teeth via root canal. Both Dr Suresh and Dr Rodriguez have ensured me that I will have my smile back by October. In addition, the staff is amazing and always on top of everything. Negative experience: Both my daughter and I go here. I love both Dr. Silvestry & Bridgette. Update 07-01-25 Well I waited several weeks before updating my previous review. I have been coming to this Dentist office since it was called Homestead Dental Associates and located across from James Archer Smith Hospital. Then followed them to their new location when I began my journey to start my braces. I have been going to Dr. Silvestry for quite some time, but stopped shortly after Covid-19. During my break I had some setbacks so I decided come back. Dr. Silvestry is the only Dentist that truly trust because I have had very bad experiences. However, since returning I see they have new receptionist staff which is the reason I am updating my review. Since my last visit I have been waiting for 3 weeks now for my treatment plan. Although the nice medical assistant he worked with on the day following a recent service told me to give my paperwork to the girls at the counter and I would receive my new treatment plan. However, that is not what happened. Instead of receiving the plan the paper I received from Dr. Silvestry was just was shoved in between some other papers. I was then rush out after I paid and told that someone would email it to me. Well next week will make a month. Now I am in pain and still waiting. The women who were there prior to this new group of ladies were older and very respectful. I loved seeing them at the office. It is not the same now. When I arrived for my last appointment they lady sitting at the front window literally opened the window and stated what I was getting done so loud, so that the entire lobby area could hear the actual work things that I am getting done. Then she got upset because I told that I was going to pay after I got my service. She was treating me like I was going to run out without paying or something. My last treatment plan I would have multiple things done in one sitting and I always paid prior leaving while scheduling my next appointment never before. Dr. Silvestry is a very good Dentist, but I cannot say the same for at least two of the young ladies in the front. If you need a good Dentist this the place, but I can't speak for the customer service area. This rating is for the customer service or lack thereof. Which is why I changed my 5 star rating.

Fantastic experience: Ana my dental hygienist is absolutely amazing!! She is an extremely great asset to Towncare Dental Associates Of Homestead. Ana is professional, knowledgeable, talented, kind, patient, considerate, and gentle . No one is crazy happy about going to get their teeth clean especially a deep cleaning like I have to have done, but she emphatically makes it easier to go. You just know you are in great hands. Fantastic experience: I had a cleaning today with Daimy. She is really good and thorough. She does a great job. She used a new machine I think called the Air Flow. It’s much better than when they used the paste. The front office staff is always so efficient and friendly. They are quick to check you out and schedule your next appointment. Dr. Silvestre is a wonderful dentist. He’s very professional and cares about his patients. He takes time to explain things to you and is gentle when he does his procedures.

Negative experience: Waited an hour and a half to hear that the best way to help my pain was to take advil. And then to have to wait for a specialist that only comes tuesdays to do a root canal. The most horrible experience ever. Would never recommend this dentist

Negative experience: The service writer was good. But for $151. For a oil change they could have rotated my tires. Plus 3%for using a credit card Wow

Negative experience: They were not transparent about cost of services, they like to slip services not covered by insurance into your plan. Also had an appointment at 8:00 and the office did not open until 8:15. There were other patients scheduled earlier than me who had to wait for them to show up. The hygienist was great, but the lady at the front desk was hostile and unprofessional. Also, the office smells like urine/unclean.

Fantastic experience: I went for a dental cleaning and Gina did a wonderful job. She is careful and very dedicated to what she does.I feel the difference.

Negative experience: I booked an emergency appointment because I was having pain in my gums. The office called and asked me to come in earlier so the dentist would have enough time to provide whatever treatment was needed. I went in one hour early. The dentist filed down my tooth, told me I have a cavity, but he didn’t have enough time to treat the cavity. So why book an emergency appointment?! And why go in early if the dentist is not going to have time to treat the emergency?! This office does not pay attention to details. I had x-rays done less than two months ago, so the cavity should have been noticed and treat. I’ve been going to this office for quite a while because it’s close to my house. But I’ve never been particularly happy with the service. I think it’s time to look for a new dentist.

Fantastic experience: I live in Kendall and drive to Homestead to see Dr. Chui. He is a personable, caring, too notch dentist. The office is modern and spotless and the staff is extremely efficient and friendly.

Wow, i cannot wait to complete my extractions, i was very happy about my extraction last week, i didn’t have pain at all and the dentist was very fast and caring, and his team, wow, excellent work, this is one of the best place to have your extraction done. Thanks for caring. Wow! I was thrilled after having my dental extractions using IV sedation last Friday, the Doctor and team were very caring because it was a wisdom tooth and two others. I didn’t feel anything until the end and it was fast compare the last time , I was trying that with no iv sedation, that was hurting so much . I couldn’t do the extraction . l learn better to use IV sedation for a wisdom tooth like The Doctor said . It was a great experience , thanks for caring Dr. G. and Team. Well, it was a great experience for me, I am waiting for my partials but is not what I was expected .i hope it will looks much better when is done.well, i finally have my partials, i was surprised to see how they looks like, with those little hooks but very tight when putting them on, i like them and you can’t see the difference between my regular teeth and the partials, adjusted well, my problem is the hooks show when you smile too much, but I smile a little and the hooks didn’t show and I can eat with them and not too hard to removed them and put them on even it takes times to made .Thank you to my Doctor and team for caring , I will have some cleaning done soon, I will be watching for later if I need adjustments, it was a good experience for me, thanks. Actually, I do have a deep cleaning and see my Doctor again for an adjustment and a little pain on my gum. The partials are better now but I have to take them out at night to clean them and wear them the next day but it’s fine. Definitely, having implant is better but is too expensive at this time, may be later, thanks for my team for caring.
