Positive experience: Great procedural staff, but the unwillingness for any compassion or flexibility with payment at time of procedure is frustrating.

Fantastic experience: 4 wisdom teeth were removed and I was ready to ride home in about an hour. There were no issues with bleeding. Was given verbal, written, and a video as references for aftercare. Got a swanky new T-shirt and a super soft ice pack as souvenirs.

About 40 mins after going to sleep, I woke up, escorted every minute until I was in the passenger seat headed home. Got home and slept for a few more hours, UPRIGHT! Absolutely zero pain or discomfort following my procedure. Follow their simple instructions. Before I went back for the extraction, we had already booked the return check up appointment so you are not dealing with anything but going home once your procedure is completed. Negative experience: My experience with Naperville Oral Surgery was very disappointing. I was billed over $200 for a brief consultation that my insurance said should have been covered. When I asked about this, I learned the office used a different billing code than what my insurance recognizes for a “consultation,” which left me paying out of pocket. Later, I was told by their coordinator they would contact me to schedule a surgery after I returned from a business trip. Instead, I received a text two days before a surgery date I never agreed to or confirmed. When I called to reschedule, the first thing I heard was, “This is not how we do things here,” followed by, “You signed a paper so you have to pay a $150 cancellation fee.” I felt there was little effort to communicate clearly or resolve the situation respectfully. In my opinion, the focus seemed more on enforcing fees than providing patient-centered care. Before choosing this office, I recommend reading the negative reviews on Google and Yelp — and paying attention to how the office responds to them. It may help you understand how they handle feedback and customer concerns.

Fantastic experience: Was treated wonderfully and with a lot of care. Was told everything that was happening as it was happening. Procedure didn’t feel like it lasted long at all. I’m recovering amazingly!

Fantastic experience: I’ll start with saying I have a childhood dental phobia stemming from childhood. So when faced with a new oral surgeon for a removal of fractured work/bone graft/implant surgery- I was my usual mixture of fear and anxiety. I was handled with such professionalism here! Dr. Godsons staff is TOP OF THE LINE from the minute you walk into the immaculate lobby all the way to the stitch removal follow up! I have had to have multiple bone grafts in my life. I also have to be sedated for dental work- usually that process alone has me in a heavy pain meds for for at least 2-3 days and swelling it a week of looking crazy. By the NIGHT OF SURGERY- I did not need heavy medicine anymore! This spoke VOLUMES because it has NEVER been the case for me! And I had practically no swelling at all! I did ice as directed but in the past I have still swelled terribly. No real swelling and no real discomfort?! ILL TAKE IT !!!! I am just so impressed with this facility and Dr. Foxson and the rest of the staff at Naperville Oral Surgery! If you are on the fence- this is the place you are looking for!

For both me and my son (removal of misoriented and unerupted wisdom teeth, one of which was quite close to a nerve). Won't go anywhere else. Sept 2025 Update My initial comment pertained to an extraction. Returned for my implant. If anything, the experience was even better. No bleeding, minimal discomfort and swelling, great care throughout. Our 23 y.o. daughter, whose livelihood partly depends on her appearance, came in from NYC and was delighted with the care and the prosthodontist referral. She is pleased with her Essix and will return for her implant in a couple of months. Only way we could be more pleased is if NOS offered a group discount . . . . . . but their billing team is excellent, too.

Fantastic experience: NOS is 5 star service across the board. I had a fractured, and painful tooth.The administrative staff was warm and welcoming. Dr. Foxson thoroughly explained the procedure during my consultation. The clinical team is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled. I woke after the procedure with zero pain and feeling great. Dr. Foxson called that evening to check on me. I returned for the implant 6 months later. Again, it was another 5 star treatment. I highly recommend Naperville Oral Surgery.

She went back for implant surgery after her initial extraction and bone graft. Dr. Foxson called her the night of both surgeries to check on her! Fantastic experience: I am very grateful to Dr. Foxson for fitting me in on a very busy day in his office. My appointment was not until August 14, but a lesion in the side of my mouth was growing and had gotten infected. It needed to be cut out and sent to pathology. Even though his schedule was packed, he made the time to squeeze me in. He also called me later that evening to see how i was doing. Those are the qualities one looks for in an exceptional oral surgeon!

At my initial consult, she shared that she had her wisdom teeth removed without anesthesia (which blew my mind), and just something about her was soo calm, friendly and really just put me at ease with making the decision to finally get this dang surgery. I ended up scheduling my surgery for the following week on the spot bc I felt so comfortable with this girl and the whole team. As someone who waited until 28 to get their wisdom teeth out, I appreciated how normal and supported they made me feel haha. The day of surgery was smooth from start to finish. They have a kind, calm way of making everything feel less intimidating. I don’t remember much thanks to anesthesia, but I do remember how cared for I felt. The entire time, too. The facility is clean, modern, and so well run—you truly feel like you’re in great hands. Dr. Foxson is also CLEARLY excellent at what he does. Funny enough, after I scheduled my surgery, I kept hearing from random friends and people recommending him, and I was like, “Well, that’s perfect—I already am!” The evening of my surgery, he called me to check in and make sure I was doing okay, which really speaks to the level of care he and his team offer. Fantastic experience: My second child to get their wisdom teeth removed with Dr. FOXSON. First, if he was not the absolute best, I would not of gone back with my second child. From office staff to Dr.FOXSON our experience could not of been better. Negative experience: Cancels your appointment if not arriving exactly on time. Called after walking in the rain for 5 min looking for the correct building and was told my app was cancelled since I was not there at the exact time. If that's your late policy fine but you should make patients aware as it's common that late policies are usually 15 mi. After appointment time. Not good patient care before even getting in the office.

Fantastic experience: I went in for the removal of 4 wisdom teeth. All throughout the process they were more than helpful and insightful with what was going to be happening. Since it was my first big surgery/operation, I let them know that I was nervous and they helped me go through the process, as well as helped me feel at ease with the whole operation. After, they sent me home with instructions and some supplies for the post surgery care, which has been extremely helpful. I don't think I could've asked for a better place to get this sort of task done, and I would recommend them.

Positive experience: I had my wisdom teeth removed recently and from the consult all the way to the follow up appointment I had an excellent experience. My first ever surgery of any kind and they put my mind at ease and the after care instructions given were clear and helpful. I would definitely recommend coming here. Update: I obtained a bill from this office. Way past the estimated amount that I paid day of surgery. (Like $1,700 more.) To make a long story short the front desk did not add my medical insurance so my dental insurance did not pick up any of the balance. When I called to explain why- the front desk immediately passed the blame to me saying I never sent them my insurance info. I checked my email and definitely did and after explaining this she looked further and saw that I did. Someone dropped the ball on their end. I am leaving my review how it is because I understand people make mistakes but do not blame patients before looking further into the issue. I hope this gets solved soon! Thanks.

Positive experience: My daughter picked this place because her friend had success getting her wisdom teeth, pulled here. It’s close to where she goes to school and it looks like a nice place with good doctor reviews however, the staff behind the desk needs some improvement. The doctor and the nursing staff were extremely nice and took care of my daughter very good and that’s what truly matters. The girls behind the desk aren’t so nice, but you only have to deal with them for a couple minutes so overall it’s worth it to go here. My daughter was in and out and taken care of

Negative experience: Called this office for the first time to get a consultation for wisdom teeth removal. The receptionist who took my phone call was VERY rude, and talking with attitude. I had a few people who went to Dr.Foxton and had good experience with him. But due to the unwelcoming phone experience I had with the receptionist and how she didnt seem like she even care dto try to understand what I was calling about I will be going elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I had an exceptional experience with Dr. Joshua Foxson and his team. From the moment I walked into the office, the staff was extremely efficient, warm, friendly, professional, and made me feel at ease. Dr. Foxson took the time to thoroughly explain my procedure, addressing all my concerns with patience and clarity. The surgery itself was seamless—his expertise was evident. I experienced minimal discomfort. Post-op care and follow-up was attentive. My recovery was smooth and quick. I highly recommend Dr. Foxson for anyone needing oral surgery.

Negative experience: Had a very difficult time with the billing department that resulted in an incorrect charge and me losing out on almost $1700 in covered expenses from my insurance company. The billing department was difficult to deal with and left me very frustrated. Dr. Foxson was great as was the surgical team. Spent the early part of my life working in customer service. Definitely not how I’d want to treat my customer. Response to NOS: NOS got paid by my insurance company for a service they did not provide (2023) and either refuse to admit their mistake or aren’t able to see it. Either way, my insurance company is not covering the procedure now (2024) because they say NOS already billed and got paid for it. I paid my bill of $1200 because it was too difficult to deal with this practice. So this is a review of the practice. I have the paperwork to support this. They refused to acknowledge it.

Negative experience: Save yourself the headache!! Their office staff “mistakenly” told me my tongue biopsy wouldn’t be covered by my insurance and that I had to pay $2,650 to have the procedure, which I paid. My insurance told me my procedure WAS in fact, covered and my patient responsibility is $100. This was 1/2/2025…it’s mid April and I’m STILL TRYING TO GET REFUNDED $2,550!! And! Dr. Foxson admittedly told me he didn’t know what was causing my pain issue and that I needed a 2nd biopsy!! When I still can’t get refunded from the first one!!!

Fantastic experience: I was nervous about having my wisdom teeth removed, I had previously been told by another office that it was a difficult removal and it could include complications. Dr. Foxson was very professional and answered all of my questions. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My recovery was very quick and overall very painless. This office overall is the best choice for any dental surgeries. I recommend NOS and Dr. Foxson to anyone who is needing Dental Surgery.

Fantastic experience: I went to a dentist and needed a tooth pulled ASAP. Dentist office called Naperville Oral Surgery and they took me right away. Dr. Foxson talked to me about everything and explained the procedure, answered my questions, was very friendly and made me feel like he was genuinely concerned. Every member of the staff that I came in contact with had a smile on their face and was friendly. EVERYTHING moved like a well oiled machine. It was an excellent experience!!!

Fantastic experience: Going into tooth removal surgery, I was filled with apprehension. However, Dr. Foxson’s exceptional skill and the remarkable support of his team turned my fear into surprise and relief. Here's what happened: after the surgery, still under the impression it hadn't even begun, I asked the technician when Dr. Foxson would be removing the tooth. To my astonishment, she replied, "He already did - we're taking you to recovery." This incredible experience speaks volumes about their efficiency and expertise. My recovery went smoothly, emphasizing the high level of care provided by Dr. Foxson and his staff. If there were a limit to star ratings, I'd break it by giving them 100 stars. They truly deserve it!

Fantastic experience: We had a very positive experience for our son's wisdom teeth extraction. The process was efficient, which is very much appreciated these days, and we feel like he received the best possible care. Dr. Foxson even called us the evening of his surgery to check on him, which was very impressive.

Negative experience: Our son is severely allergic to mint. We told this to Dr Foxson. He needs an EPI pen for this allergy. Well he prescribed a mouthwash after surgery. It was mint! Thank goodness my son told me it smelled like mint otherwise he could have had a serious reaction. This is a gross and dangerous oversight.

Fantastic experience: Very relaxing atmosphere when I walked into the office, staff were polite, and answered all our questions, the oral surgeon, dr. Foxson knew I had severe ptsd, from previous dentists, he was fantastic how he did my multiple teeth (6) extraction, his assistants also were great, less than a hour all done, no pain, just numbness by next day almost 100%, definitely recommend him and his assistants

Fantastic experience: My experience with Dr. Foxner and team has been nothing but fabulous. I went to him with excruciating pain in my wisdom teeth . My consultation with him went very well and so was my extraction of all 4 wisdom teeth.i was able to quickly get appointment for surgery.I was very well taken care of in every way starting from tranperancy of information and cost till post op care. Staff and nurse was extremely kind and caring . Dr Foxner also gave a call after surgery to check my condition.My healing went on smooth with no complications . Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I am beyond word's to acknowledge the exuberance that I experienced yesterday by the removal of a depreciating wisdom tooth by the wonderful NAPERVILLE ORAL SURGERY & DENTAL IMPLANTS. I NEVER anticipated a medical interaction could have been accomplished so smoothly. I have ZERO Negative after-effects. I Am now a proud patient of this AWESOME Dental Practice.

Fantastic experience: I just recently had all four of my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Foxson. The procedure went great and I had no negative side effects that were out of the ordinary. I was back in the full swing of things just a few days after the removal!

Negative experience: This place is a disaster. Was recommended to go here for my son's wisdom teeth extraction last fall. After consultation they gave us an estimate over $6000 and said would not be covered by insurance. We obviously got a second opinion and had the procedure done for just the co-pay. Then in December they send me a bill for consultation, panoramic film and a post op re-eval (that never happened) all for $550.00. This place is a SCAM and BEWARE. Find another surgeon and stay away.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely the best of the best. I can’t say enough thank you to the entire team. I am terrified of dentists and surgery worse than kids. It’s sad but these guys made me relaxed they are amazing highly highly recommend!!!
