Fantastic experience: New patient today! I was so impressed with everyone here! Sandy, Jodaci, DR Xavier and Elaina were awesome! They got me in quick, created a great treatment plan and were so thorough in their explanations. After not coming to a dentist for 3 years, it would have been easy to price gouge me but they only provided necessary treatment. Thanks again! Will recommend to friends!

Fantastic experience: I am giving Mint Dentistry South Arlington, TX 5 stars “this visit.” The reason I say “this visit “, is because I have been going to mint dentistry for many years, and the wait is usually extremely long. Today, there was still a wait, (20 min), but the staff was amazing! My hygienist was absolutely amazing, and I am sorry I didn’t get her name. She actually showed me how to floss properly (Hugging the base of the corner of each tooth inside then sliding the floss up). The x-ray technician was also extremely pleasant. I truly hope my next visit is just like this one! My faith in Mint Dentistry has been restored!

Negative experience: They never communicated on my service to pick up what I needed. Cancelled my appt the day of so I rescheduled for my birthday me and my son to be seen hours later. Never received cleaning asked to use my credit because of cancellation was denied. Very disappointed in service. Service for my son was great but for me not at all.

Fantastic experience: This place is great!! When you walk in your greeted promptly , you’re verified with appointment confirmation and paperwork is done on an IPad. I’ve been coming here for 5 years and I’ve never waited in the lobby for more than 10 minutes. Today wasn’t any different , other than Elaina , who took her time and schooled me on correct flossing ! Fantastic experience: Great people who really care about patients. I HATE dental visits, have since a kid. These folks help me thru it and don’t act like it’s some big weird thing. And they work with a pretty wide range of dental insurance which is helpful.

Negative experience: I don’t typically complete these surveys, but with Mint blowing me up with reminders and constant marketing, as well as this being my 2nd poor experience in 4 total visits. I thought Mint would like to know… Dental assistant and Dentist we’re kind and efficient, but purpose of my visit was for a cleaning. After waiting for ~ 30 minutes after seeing the dentist and awaiting the dental hygienist an employee shares they are down a couple hygienists and there is someone ahead of me expecting another 45 minutes to see me. Odds are they knew since they opened they would be down hygienists and couldn’t meet their patient load, but cared more about keeping the calendar booked/ Revenue high vs their patients time. No solutions provided or extension of an appointment at a later time they they could get me right in preventing me from wasting more of MY time. Unprofessional to not consider your clients time and then the audacity to send you a survey email. And I’m sure I’ll get a call from their call center asking when we could reschedule without understanding the circumstance, which is based on what happened last time, not purely speculative. Just big business, fast food of dentistry. High odds of mistakes and let down without the consideration of their consumer.

Negative experience: I’ve been coming to this location for a few years for just regular cleanings twice a year. They are excellent for that purpose, but last year I decided I wanted Invisalign to straighten my teeth and this location does offer that service. However, I feel like this experience has been a nightmare. Getting my first two sets of trays was alright, I feel like Dr. Brunson was truly amazing; when he left and Dr. Ali took over it’s been a downhill experience. I expressed to her how I wanted to continue treatment with a third set of trays because I wasn’t happy with the results. They took a scan (the scans are the worst!!) and they gave me a price and said they’ll call. Around 2 months passed and I never heard from them, but my son had a regular cleaning appointment so when I took him to his appointment I asked them about the additional trays. They apologized and they scheduled another appointment. During this appointment, they took MORE SCANS. They did call me, but when I went to my appointment I find out that they ordered freaking retainers. Retainers means the treatment is finished, but I clearly expressed to the doctor I wanted more trays and I even showed the estimate I received. So, they took another scan. I finally got my third set of trays. I finished those so recently I went in for my retainer scan. They called me a couple of weeks ago to pick up the retainers and my appointment was today and I have no retainers. They took yet another scan and said they’ll call me. I don’t understand where this confusion is coming from, but this office has so much miscommunication and it’s really frustrating as a customer and patient.

From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming, making me feel comfortable right away. The dental hygienist (Elina)was incredibly thorough during my cleaning. She explained what she was doing at each step and provided helpful tips on how to maintain my oral hygiene at home. The cleaning itself was efficient and painless, which is always a plus! Dr was equally amazing. She took the time to review my dental health and answered all my questions. I appreciated the personalized care and attention to detail. The office was clean and well-organized, which adds to the overall positive experience. I also noticed that they follow all safety protocols, which made me feel safe during my visit. I highly recommend Mint south Arlington to anyone looking for a friendly and professional dental practice. I left feeling refreshed and confident about my dental health. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Negative experience: Don’t go here. They steal money from people will give you one price & then charge you a whole new price. Was told I was gonna be paying close to $200 for a cleaning & ended up paying over $400 for just a cleaning. And another $400 for a tooth to be pulled

After visiting here a couple of times I quickly learned that the experience was pleasant and the service was needed on a regular basis. Negative experience: I tried to contact their corporate office via their website and I am unable to find any way to make contact in writing. I visited there on 11/13/24 for a crown. The created the mold and 4.5 months later it finally comes in! I always had to contact them about the status! I declined their services when they finally called me about the crown coming in. I requested a refund for any and all charges up to this point and their corporate refund department won't write me back! I am unable to use the insurance coverage from 2024 since it is now 2025. That is why I am requesting a refund. I am now going to be required to pay cash for this repair. Absolutely terrible customer service!! Based on the response from their corporate office, they have no idea what is going. I replied to their email from 4/2 on 4/3. I did not receive an answer from my reply, so I wrote back on 4/18. I received a reply on 4/21. I replied back to that email on the same day and have not received a response from my reply.

Negative experience: If you want to wait at least an hour or more before being seen make an appointment here. My son had an appointment to put in a spacer wait time was over and hour before the dentist came in and said unfortunately they ordered the wrong size and can’t give him the spacer today and we would need to set up a new appointment. INSANE to make us wait that long when the receptionist couldn’t simply told us that. Will never come back here.

Negative experience: I am writing this review not out of anger toward the staff, but out of deep concern, frustration, and disappointment with the way Mint Dentistry South Arlington operates as a business. As a once-loyal client, I felt it was important to share my experience, which has left me not only disheartened but questioning the integrity and accountability of this office. In September 2024, I had a root canal performed at this location. Fast forward to February 2025, and I began experiencing severe pain and unbearable sensitivity in that same tooth. Naturally, I returned to Mint for an evaluation, hoping for a solution. During that visit, a simple bite adjustment was done, but the issue persisted. A few days later, I went back again, only to be told that Mint Dentistry could not fix the problem and I would need to see an Endodontic specialist. What I cannot understand — and frankly, what’s unacceptable — is why a dental office would perform such a significant procedure in the first place if they were unable or unwilling to address any complications that could arise from it. Now, I’m left having to seek outside specialist care and pay an outrageous amount out-of-pocket, as my insurance will not cover two root canals on the same tooth within such a short timeframe. This feels like a complete failure of accountability on Mint’s part — performing a procedure, failing to resolve the aftermath, and then passing the burden entirely onto the patient. To make matters worse, the dentist at Mint referred me to her own husband — the specialist they want me to see. That blatant conflict of interest makes this entire situation feel even more unethical and self-serving. At the end of the day, I expected better from a practice I once trusted with my dental care. This experience has left me feeling exploited, financially burdened, and completely let down. Patients deserve transparency, accountability, and above all, quality care that doesn’t leave them scrambling for solutions due to poor planning and lack of ownership from their provider. I sincerely hope Mint Dentistry South Arlington takes this as an opportunity to reflect on how they handle procedures and patient follow-up care, because this is no way to treat loyal clients.

Negative experience: I went to get a cleaning and extraction. My appt was at 11am. Just leaving at 1:40 pm after getting X-rays, treatment plan and extraction. No cleaning because they wanted to do a deep cleaning which I wasn’t prepared to pay for vs a free cleaning. Not to mention I had to hold the suction straw after she numbed me. They need help or something else cause it’s not like it used to be. Very DISSATISFIED

Was seen "too late" to preform deep cleaning that was needed. First vist makes me want to find another dentist. Would give no stars if possible. Negative experience: Perhaps they were short staffed today. I ended up leaving before my cleaning. I was there at 8:40 for my 8:45 appointment. I finally left at 10AM. I was at home before they realized I was gone. Hopefully, next time will be better.

But thanks to the team work of my dentist and her great assistants she pointed out other issues that should take first priority. They set up a treatment plan and immediately went to work! Negative experience: We scheduled an appointment on the 03rd of December. We received a confirmation of that appointment via email at 4:25 confirming the appointment. My wife is a school teacher, so her time off in the school year is very limited. We scheduled this appointment almost a month ago and walk in today to find our appointment had been canceled. The canceled appointment, per the sarcastic lady behind the counter.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here for several years now. Honestly I was skeptical. Seems too “polished” to be actually good at patient care. You know, all hat and no cattle kind of thing. But, they worked very well with my insurance so I gave them a shot. Turns out they’re great! The level of care was actually exceptional. Front desk is friendly. Hygienists are thorough and gentle. Dentists are professional and thoughtful. You will not be disappointed.

Negative experience: The wait time was ridiculously long. Showed up 20 mins early to my appointment. Once seated it took over an hour to be seen. I believe this is something that should be communicated at arrival. A simple "hey we are running behind, do you have time to wait or would you like to reschedule?"

Negative experience: This was my first time coming to this location I usually go to the location on Collins and Copeland. What did I do that for? This by far the worst experience i have ever had. I came for a routine checkup. Got x-rays down that was cool then I go to the back I see the dentist she does the usual check for cavities and stuff. When she gets done she said the hygienist will be in soon for your cleaning 15- 20 mins later. The manager comes in and tells me they can't do my cleaning today. Remind you I had to leave work early. To make my appointment. The only solution she had was to reschedule me. So you mean to tell me now I have to take off work again to get a service I was supposed to get today unacceptable!!! Back to the location on Collins and Copeland I go!!

Negative experience: They are good for basic work. I needed a referral to a prosthodontist and was just sent to a different location. I took a peek at my notes and they didn't have what I wanted. What was in my notes was not what we talked about and my wants, needs, and concerns were ignored. Went to the referral appointment and was told exactly what I was worried about. I told them THAT'S WHAT I SAID THE FIRST TIME AND WAS IGNORED!!! Just wasted my time and gas to go see someone else and get told what I already knew! Edit* Check my others reviews on who actually did listen to me

Negative experience: Came here to get a dental cleaning and was told information I already knew.. I needed a tooth pulled. For context, my mouth is very small and this was my 2nd molar, wayyyy in the back of my mouth. I was numbed well and the younger doctor seemed to not know what she was doing. She had to prepare herself to pull my tooth out and "hype herself up" every time she tried. Well, this first doctor couldn't get it out, so a second doctor comes in and is much more agressive, pulling and tugging at my jaw. This process goes on for about 45 minutes. Yes, they were pulling at my tooth for 45 minutes straight with no end in sight. I ask for more numbing as it's starting to wear off and am given it with a scoff like I'm bothering them. For this entire time, I am shaking. This is extremely traumatic as there are multiple cracks and like I said, the dentist is practically pulling my face back and fourth. There was no checking up on me, there was no consolation, they just wanted to get it done. By the end, I was crying and shaking and they say "yeah this should've been taken to a surgical center". I love how I am told this AFTER going through this traumatic experience. I also receive a "pep talk" from the older dentist, the second one that came in. She explained how I will have "many extractions" in my life and basically how I need to toughen up. I told her I have already had numerous extractions and surgery including getting my wisdom teeth out that all required a surgical center to take out. I thought it would be fine but they later described that the tooth was impacted and the root was not fully straight. Like we couldn't figure this out BEFORE we started all this??? Unprofessional, inconsiderate, rude doctors that just seem money hungry and don't care AT ALL about their patients wellbeing. Edit- I was supposed to be prescribed antibiotics and steroids and pain management but I had my extraction done on Friday. They didn't send those meds to the pharmacy! So this is so far a very miserable weekend.

Fantastic experience: Always a great experience at Mint Dentistry in S. Arlington. Staff is very friendly and efficient. Dental hygienist and doctors are great at what they do! A special shoutout to dental hygienist, Iliana. In my close to 60 years of going to the dentist, she is hands down the best hygienist I’ve ever had. She explains everything she does and educates you as to why it’s important. I definitely recommend this location.

Negative experience: The cleaning itself was pretty good other than I was not given any glasses to protect my eyes from the focused light on my face during the cleaning. How does a dental office not have anything to protect their patient's eyes? Also, something else that bothers me about MINT is when they send you an email about a free item if you get a cleaning this month and then the front desk says corporate told us to charge people $8 now and it's not the end of the month yet, that's unacceptable. If you're gonna promote something, the company should follow-through with its promotion.

Negative experience: The girls at the desk are so rude. Why do they tell you to be here 25 minutes early and then no one helps you. I am here for a cleaning appointment and still waiting. Made my appointment first thing in the morning so I would not have to wait like I have had to do before. Thought I would give them a second chance but I can see I will never be back. People came in after me and were called back before me

Negative experience: I had a disappointing experience with Daisy and Jasamine during my recent visit. I arrived at 9:13 AM with my spouse and informed Daisy that we didn’t have his insurance card, asking if she could look up his insurance number through the system. Daisy initially said she couldn’t assist and did nothing for 45 minutes before finally using the last four digits of his social security number. Unfortunately, he was not found in the system. I had to call Cigna myself to get the insurance information. When I provided Jasamine with a note containing the details, she accessed my spouse’s file without his consent, which is a serious privacy violation. Jasamine, who had a noticeable smell of marijuana masked with perfume, was also rude, criticizing the appearance and handwriting of my note as "ugly" and "terrible," and did not address my questions about coverage. Moreover, Jasamine's release of my spouse's information to me without his consent is against HIPAA regulations, which prohibit sharing personal information without proper authorization. Overall, the lack of professionalism and respect from both Daisy and Jasamine made this experience extremely frustrating and unsatisfactory. I spoke with corporate also today and addressed the situation

Negative experience: I decided to use Mint because it was close, I had heard decent reviews, and I only needed a cleaning so I figured I could be in and out (which is important since I needed to have someone watch my child while I was gone). I arrived early per the pre-appointment text instructions and completed the check-in paperwork and was told by the front desk they would come get me once my insurance was verified so I could go back. My appointment time passed, then it was 20min past, then 30, then 40 with no updates from the front desk. I finally went up and asked if everything was all right and if they had verified my insurance. They told me "oh yes, we already verified your insurance, I'll see if I can get someone to see you." People who had come in after me had been taken back throughout my waiting and yet another person was taken back 2min after I spoke to the girls at the front desk. Finally someone called my name and I was taken back. She was very kind, as was the doctor who went ahead and did my cleaning since there weren't any hygienists available and she didn't want me to have to wait any longer (she also said she would handle the issue with me being forgotten with the manager). She was quick and thorough with the cleaning. She and her attending nurse are the only reason I am giving 2 stars. The girls at the front desk tried to blame the delay on the insurance department even though they had told me they would come get me when that department verified everything. I was too disoriented to bring this up and just wanted to be done with the whole experience. They also offered a $100 credit towards any future services there. However, I do not intend to ever go to another Mint dentist office, and I'm not sure if that would cover much of the cost of any of their other services. Apart from the doctor and the assisting nurse, this was a very disappointing experience, and in spite of the doctor that still wouldn't make me return or tell other people to use the company.
