MINT dentistry | Little York

Negative experience: My daughter went in for a toothache and they just gave her a referral without the dentist looking at her tooth. She had a tooth infection. Horrible service! Called then at 5:20 and they close at 5:30 left me on hold and never answered the phone.

Fantastic experience: Dr.Krenz was so great at his job. I had a root canal and temporary crown he made me as comfortable as I could be. He didn’t get upset when I jumped when he went in with his needles and drills. He was attentive to my needs plus he had a great dental assistant. I will be back again this week and it’s surprising that I’m so willing to go back knowing I used to be so scared to go to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: I have always been nervous when it comes to visiting a dentist. I went to Mint Denistry on 06/03, the staff is wonderful and made me feel very comfortable. As soon as I walked in Mr. Joseph was very welcoming with the biggest smile. The assistant Ms. Joselyn (sorry if I misspelled name) was very friendly and attentive. Then it comes to the point when I feel the most nervous(lol), The pleasantness of Dr.Shah removed all those fears. I love how she explained everything she was doing and always asked if I was okay. It was my first visit and I was only planning to have a consultation, but ended up getting a tooth that had been bothering me extracted. I never experienced getting a tooth pulled and not having any pain afterwards. Mint Denistry will be my place from now on.

Positive experience: First visit was good, but the front desk people hygiene was not pleasant for a dentist office. Breath was a lil uninviting. Second appointment. The dentist treated me a lil like I was animal while he was in my mouth, and so he didn't put the medication on my gums like the first hygienist did... she was more caring and hospitality like....overall though see you in three months. My smile looks great!

So safe to say from beginning to end. Very attentive, patient and informative. I generally don't like dentist, however, jamming to Chris Brown while getting my teeth cleaned was a great experience. Negative experience: I DO NOT recommend this location. I went in for a deep cleaning and my smile was not the same leaving. I spent 2 years depressed and they said it will be $5000 for me to fix it. I will not ever be the same again. Thank you, Mint Dentistry!!

Fantastic experience: The staff were friendly, every single one of them that interacted with me and my husband. Dentist Pedro explained my X-rays to me as well (my previous dentist didn't). I liked that they took the time to educate me and inform me of my treatment options. The cleaning didn't hurt. The staff was very accommodating. Yvonne (sorry if I spelled it wrong), David, Bailey and Dentist Pedro were all very kind and I could tell they all love what they do and love where they work. This was by far the best dentist visit I have had. I look forward to my next visit.

Fantastic experience: I went in for a small concern but ended up getting my semi annual cleaning by the best hygienist in Houston, Texas “Daniel”. Every time I go to the Little York location I get a very good comforting and inviting experience with Daniel. Cyan also assisted me with my treatment plan and she had great customer service. The representative at the front desk with the braids I forgot to catch her name but she always makes you feel like a celebrity when you enter the door. The dentist was patient and listened to my concerns. Me being a registered nurse I know the significance of having great customer service in the industry. I will forever continue to come to this location even if I move further out.

Positive experience: I am giving my experience 3 out of 5 stars. I arrived at 8:45 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. appointment and clearly communicated my needs and expectations to the front desk staff. After my X-rays, I waited for over 30 minutes without any updates or progress. I had to ask three separate times for my whitening trays to be prepared, but they were never completed. The cleaning felt rushed and did not meet the high standards I’ve come to expect from MINT Dentistry. This was my second visit, and each time I’ve requested whitening trays, they have not been delivered. I’ve been given various explanations, such as running behind schedule or staffing issues, which has led to a year-long delay in receiving my trays. I want to emphasize that the young lady at the front desk did an excellent job and made every effort to assist customers, but the issues were beyond her control. However, the overall time management and lack of follow-through have left me disappointed with the service. I speak highly of this office, but I believe these concerns need to be addressed by management to improve the customer experience moving forward.

I am an Ole G!! Been with mint since 2015 and i have never had a bad experience with them!! I just hope soon they begin to offer oerks for us long standing clients!! Fantastic experience: I had a tooth break. I was in so much pain. My regular dentist couldn't fit me in. My husband found this Mint dentist. I walked in, no appointment, no hope, sure I would be sent away. There I was in a beautiful lobby thinking that even if they could see me I couldn't afford them. That is when the magic happened, Bailey asked if she could help me. Did I have an appointment? I explained my morning and pain. She said if I could wait a few minutes she could have the dentist examine me and tell me how they could help. They were so kind. Everyone was friendly. When I was in the dentist chair nervous and hurting the dental assistant asked if there was a type of music I would like to listen to and would I like the massage chair turned on. No joke. With my favorite music and my chair vibrating it was hard to be nervous. The dentist examined me, she was very gentle. She talked with me about what procedures I needed. Then Bailey told me the cost, for my care. So reasonable, very affordable. Not long later I was leaving the office no longer in pain. I would recommend this dentist to everyone! I returned for another appointment and saw a different dentist in the office. My experience was even better! ❤️

Positive experience: The manager Ms Bailey at that location was amazing, despite of the uninterested Dentist Dr Rachel Finelli. We were scheduled for severe tooth ache and she had no intention on doing any type of work because “it’s late in the afternoon” her exact words… i believe even the manager was surprised because of the consult being short and quick… but the manager was able to assist us and refer us elsewhere… it sad when you have great support staff but poor Dr service…

Negative experience: This place is all about the money. Even when you have insurance they act like they are desperate and tell you it takes 45 days for the insurance to get back. So meaning they won’t do a service for you unless you pay out of pocket. The manager even lied by saying a price for some flippers and then changed the price when I compared it to a competitor dental office. She was rude and not helpful. Would not recommend this place to anyone!

Negative experience: They take your money!! I paid $145 for NO actual work! Not even a fluoride cleaning! I absolutely hate I came here! I took off work thinking I would at least get a cleaning! They want $400 and then told me that don’t have time when I had an appointment for a cleaning! They are scammers! Don’t be fooled by all the radio commercials! Or the Netflix, massage chairs, or pandora! It’s all a gimmick!

Negative experience: Mint Dentistry is currently paying customers $50 to leave a review. I declined because every review I leave on Google will be authentic. Mint Dentistry needs to get their ENTIRE BUSINESS TOGETHER! Things are disorganized, waiting more than 1 hour past your appointment time, and lack of appropriate communication between general and orthodontics. Instead of paying customers for reviews, please improve your service! We understand that your ortho team is separate and travels. However, this does not excuse poor customer services, inadequate preparation for patients, and overall lack of assistance to those needing service. MINT doesn't want to earn your business, they want to pay your 50 bucks for a good review and get you into their office and take your insurance benefits for claims, but when it comes to service... that is a different ballgame all together!

Each tech that worked with me had great bedside care and did very good work. The hygienist explained everything in detail and talked me through any concerns. Glad I found Mint by referral.

Negative experience: If I could give a zero start TRUST ME I WOULD. The experience here was horrible. The appointment we had was set for 3pm, paperwork took so long we didn't get seen until around 4pm. The dentist never introduced herself, I just felt as if it wasn't organized and no one wanted to be there. Around 4:40 pm. I'm guessing who is the dental assistant told my fiance oh we have to reschedule due to time. I think that's something you tell someone before taking xrays of their mouth. Will never go to another mint dentistry, don't believe the hype
