Fantastic experience: My experience with MINT was great particularly with the dental hygienist at the Grand Prairie location named Jalen. Not only was he thorough, he was also gentle. There was almost no pain at all when getting my teeth cleaned. Also neither Jalen nor the Dentist made me feel like I had horrible teeth, which is something I get a little anxious and very annoyed about when visiting the dentist due to past experiences. Overall this was one the best dentist experiences I've had in my adult life.

Fantastic experience: Jalen was very professional and very helpful During my cleaning. He made sure to inform me if I felt any discomfort or pain to let him know. inform me of each step coming up as far as the x-rays as far as the exam. The overall atmosphere of mint Dentistry is wonderful to step into. I wish I had been coming here a lot earlier in life. Amenities are top-notch.If you don't know what they are I would definitely suggest you go in there and find out.

Fantastic experience: The people that took care of me were exceptional! They were compassionate, they understood my fears and apprehensions. They were patient with me. I hadn't been to the dentist for years, because of my phobia. Dr. Rucobo made sure that I didn't feel any pain. Alisha allowed me to squeeze her hand while getting the novocaine injections. Linnete was so kind while taking the x-rays. They are a top notch group of people! Thank you so much! I will return to get the rest of the work that I need done.

He was professional, thorough, and made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire cleaning. His friendly and calm demeanor really stood out and made the whole appointment comfortable and even enjoyable. Highly recommend MINT/ Joey for anyone looking for a top-notch dental experience!

Negative experience: I visited Mint Dentistry for a cavity filling, and while parts of the experience were positive, overall it was very unsettling. The front desk staff were professional, and I appreciated the smooth check-in process. Cassandra, the dental assistant, was incredibly kind and compassionate—her support truly made a difference during a difficult moment. However, my experience with the original dentist, Dr. Rucobo, was extremely disappointing. After the topical anesthetic was applied, Dr. Rucobo came in to administer the injection. The procedure was painful, and instead of showing any empathy, he was noticeably rude and dismissive. His tone, demeanor, and overall attitude were deeply unprofessional and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. It even triggered a panic attack, which I have never experienced at a dentist before. Thankfully, Dr. Patel stepped in to complete the procedure. She was kind, compassionate, and professional throughout, and I truly appreciate her care. That said, I do not want to see or interact with Dr. Rucobo again. I’ve encountered him on other occasions, and each time he has been consistently rude and condescending. I do not trust him as a healthcare provider and would not recommend him to others.

Fantastic experience: I needed my teeth cleaned and I had a broken front tooth so I made an appointment at Mint Grand Prairie. Everything about my appointment was awesome. The ladies at the front desk were inviting and I was in the chair in no time. The dental assistant Laynette made sure I was Comfortable and informed on all procedures. I wasn’t expecting to have the root removed and a bone graft placed that day but the best dentist EVER Dr. Theresa Patel just snapped her cute little fingers and it was done. She also made me a Little temporary flipper so I don’t look like a fool until my Other flipper comes in. Joey the hygienist was very good at making my teeth shine, my breath fresh and my gums healthy. I love mint dentistry!!! Thank you

Fantastic experience: Jalen was one of my best hygienist that I have had. Usually I leave a cleaning and my mouth is sore. I have grown to dread cleanings. I think I have turned that page now. I was not picked and prodded to the extend that I actually fell asleep. Never in my 50 years have I been comfortable enough to fall asleep while my teeth were being cleaned. Impressed does not even scratch the surface for what I would like to say. If request Jalen for all future cleanings. I know that I’ll be in great hands. He and Lanette were incredibly sweet and attentive, especially knowing I’ve had some past trauma with dental offices. It’s not easy finding someone who genuinely takes the time to make you feel at ease, but Joey did exactly that. Highly recommend him if you’re looking for someone who truly cares!
