A Perfect Smile Orthodontics

Positive experience: Overall a good experience. Wife, kids and got our braces done after being referred some years ago. Staff is very friendly, however, as of lately it seems as if they have more business than staff. Scheduling is extremely difficult and it seems as if they penalize you for having to reschedule. Dr. Taylor is very good though.

Negative experience: My daughter is halfway through her treatment, and honestly, I'm not content with the results we're getting, and neither is my daughter her teeth are super flared more than when she started her treatment.

Then I was doing some research and decided to get a 2nd opinion at “A Perfect Smile Orthodontics.” At the first consultation they had told me it was going to take 3 years. Positive experience: I initially had a great experience at A Perfect Smile Orthodontics in McAllen. My first year of treatment was smooth, and I received my first round of Invisalign with excellent customer service. The staff made me feel valued as a patient, and everything seemed to be on track. There was a delay with my second round of Invisalign aligners, but I was recently contacted by the office. They explained that the delay was due to issues with the manufacturing company, and they apologized for the inconvenience. I truly appreciated their transparency and the effort they made to reach out and resolve the situation. Now that my new aligners are here, the level of service has returned to the high standard I originally experienced. The staff has been responsive and attentive, and I’m back on track with my treatment. Overall, I’m happy with how everything has been handled, and I’m confident in my treatment moving forward. I’m giving A Perfect Smile Orthodontics 4 stars for their communication and commitment to quality care.

Fantastic experience: My three years at APS were largely positive, earning them a 5-star rating. The staff and dental assistants were fantastic, making every visit a pleasure. Shout out to them because they’re the real rockstars! I'm thrilled with my results – my smile is as perfect as it could be! The only area for improvement would be the consistency of the doctor I saw. If a personalized doctor-patient relationship is a high priority for you, a private practice might be a better fit. However, the excellent staff and the confidence I have in my smile now, make APS a winner in my book.

Negative experience: They will not advise of autopays not processing, and will blindside you with a lump sum payment request in order to follow up. Mind you, you pay monthly, but are consulted every 3+ months. So you will have to pay for 3+ months. She is my second child getting braces there. I will be taking my third child elsewhere after this experience.

The only thing is that my appointments were usually 12 weeks out and i feel like it prolonged my treatment. It was a long journey 3 years 7 months to be exact, but my teeth are flawless now. Fantastic experience: Amazing experience with perfect smiles, the patience, professionalism from Dr and assistants that have worked with us was great. There was no rush to removing my daughters braces, they made sure her teeth were perfect before removal.

Negative experience: I took my son `for a consultation and was really disappoint that the consultation was not with a dentists or Dr. Taylor. We have been to other orthodontist office for consultation and this is the first consultation given by office staff or salesmen. This is an important discussion that involves medical procedures such as teeth removal and over 6k for the treatment. How am I suppose to trust the treatment prescriptions from somebody that isn't an orthodontist?
