The lady at the front desk Azariah was incredibly friendly, and took the time to help me figure out exactly what I needed. The office staff was outstanding, and I loved the atmosphere of this office . I would suggest adding a few more seating areas, as it can get crowded. Overall, a fantastic experience!

I hate the dentist, however Mint dentistry always makes you feel comfortable. One of the best dental experiences since moving to Mesquite for sure.

Fantastic experience: Great service, friendly and aesthetically pleasing!

Negative experience: 1st visit ok, best behavior. 2nd visit not so good. Don't tell me to arrive 15 minutes before my appointment and then don't see me at my scheduled time. 5-10 minutes acceptable. 15-45 minutes unacceptable. Unlike the 1st visit, they asked for payment upfront so you have no choice to wait until they are ready or pay $50 if you leave. Mint target people of color. Insist you need a deep clean when you don't. Deep clean is more of a cost benefit. Floss before you come so they won't show you tags on the xray that suggest you need the deep clean/root planning procedure. Then they look at you with an attitude when you ask.

Fantastic experience: Location was very clean and organized. Signing in and updating information was such a better experience than it was back then. Staff was friendly, love LOVE Dr. Tolliver, always has the best answers! Kara was my hygienist, my teeth are so sensitive and I am so scared of cleanings, but I felt NO pain. Light hands and very gentle! Loved it!

Negative experience: The dentist was very heavy handed. My jaw is still recovering.

Fantastic experience: just now New Mint Dentistry is a warm, welcoming and an invigorating environment. The staff cheerfully greeted me with a smile when I open the door . I also got a gift which was Mint Dentistry Bag with some goodies. This is the first time that I went to Mint Dentistry. Kara , the hygienist, is thorough when she cleaned my teeth. Dr. Tolliver is a knowledgeable dentist because he literally explained everything to me in a detailed manner . Dr. Tolliver is a phenomenal doctor who has a strong work ethic.

I had Kionna and Dr Ana's both appointments and they took their time, answered all my questions and just made me very comfortable. Please if you need anything done to your mouth ask for them two.

Fantastic experience: I was hesitant because I had a bad experience at white rock location last year after the dentist change , as well as some reviews here . I am so happy I decided to take the chance and go with my gut . I had an amazing experience. The dentist actually cared and listened about my dental history , past treatment plans I’ve been given and I left feeling hopeful & with full trust in the new dental plan I’ve been given with several options to choose from . As someone with dental problems it’s hard to find a place where they listen to you and actually care to save your real teeth . I am happy to say that I will be coming back and this is now my home dentist .

Negative experience: I was told that I could not get the free whitening even though I qualified for it. I was told that I could not get the whitening because it is preferred to get my treatment completed first… I guess that is a new policy which is weird. I do not think I will go back.

Positive experience: Offering me a used blanket is wild af! What happened to cleanliness? No I don't want the same blanket that was just on the last person. I want a FRESH one! Ya'll gotta do better!

Negative experience: Staff is nice but I ALWAYS have to wait 45 mins+ from my appointment time to actually be seen. I have been sitting here waiting so long, Netflix paused the show and asked if I was still here.

Negative experience: At first I thought this was a great place however went in for a filling and they made it so my teeth were VERY sensitive. Went back they said it had been botched so they re drilled and messed up AGAIN at that point I went to a different dentist who fixed the issue no problem. But the worst part is I've been "making payments" for a night gaurd for 2 years now and when I looked into it further turns out it had been paid off and I was put in something called a "smile club"? And was still making payments for that. This place is a scam do not trust your teeth to these people.

Negative experience: Horrible. Got an SRP called saying that it was extremely painful they told me to come in so I could get something for pain and then gave me antibiotics. White rock location gave me antibiotics that I was allergic to and could have killed me if I had filled th prescription. I have to get the other side done and I am scared because it is supposed to hurt more and I do not trust them at all. You will be unable to contact any one from corporate. They to me they have a person I could call but then said they don't have her card and don't have her number for complaints. Fill like someone is running the company from a basement. K104 make sure u r helping your listeners not just lining your pockets.

Negative experience: My mom is paying for 2 years on denture adjustments. She has had 3 appointments to get adjustments in one year. Probably wont need anymore thus year, yet, they could not give her a bottle of antiseptic for cleaning. She has to pay extra for that. I do not like the threat of if you cancel an appointment you get charged 50.00. My mom is 87 and may not be able to make it after making an appointment and yet if you keep changing it they charge too. I dont trust the company and what it stands for. Would not recommend getting into a plan with them

Negative experience: I have been to a few mint dentistry locations and this was the worst one. I initially went in for a cleaning and did X-rays and photos for an hour just for them to bring me the exiting paperwork when I was still sitting in the chair waiting on my cleaning. He tells me because the doctor recommended the deep cleaning I had to do that instead I told them that’s not what I came for and he made me sign a refusal of treatment form and told me I can get the cleaning. I go sit back down and waited longer and decided to just go to a different location.

Negative experience: As a return customer this visit was not well checked into my appointment and was not asked for my insurance information just my Id I was x-ray and examined by dentist where he went over what I needed I had no questions and then was seen again by the receptionist who checked me in as she proceeded to go over cost and then tells they don’t accept my insurance that I would have to pay out of pocket if I wished to move forward, then this week I get a statement showing the billed my insurance, my insurance was never verified from the beginning had it been I would have never kept my appointment but they did exam and xray then told me Mint isn’t in my network and not covered. Now I was charged out of my deductible and I have to find another dentist to start over and now pay out of pocket.

Negative experience: I received a text from Mint Dental for my routine cleaning appointment. Upon arrival at the office, I was informed of a $305 balance due to an error caused by incorrect information being entered into the system by Mint Dental, as noted by the insurance company. Despite this, I was told to have a seat while the front desk resubmitted the claim so that I could be seen. However, after contacting the insurance company to clarify the situation, my appointment was ultimately denied. worst customer service ever

Negative experience: I will never go back to Mint Dentistry, especially not to the Mesquite location. As a first-time customer, I thought this would be a good place for my dental needs, but it turned out to be a terrible choice. I went in expecting a regular annual cleaning, but instead, I was told I had multiple cavities and needed a root canal. They suggested a crown, but they never even cleaned my teeth before the procedure. One of the doctors took an excruciating 4.5 hours to do fillings on one side and a crown on the top, which left my jaw locked up. I couldn't open my mouth for two days due to the pain. When I returned weeks later for work on the other side, I still didn't receive a cleaning or even a welcome kit as a new patient. Despite telling the doctor that something felt wrong with my crown, she insisted everything was fine. However, I still have trouble eating on my left side. Nine months later, I refused to go back due to the poor service and high charges. My crown eventually fell out while I was brushing my teeth. I quickly made an appointment with my previous dentist, who found through x-rays that the crown and several fillings on the same side had come out. They informed me that the supposed cavities Mint Dentistry diagnosed were actually just plaque. Now, I’m on antibiotics because the open hole where the crown was is infected. I am extremely upset that Mint Dentistry has completely messed up my teeth.

Negative experience: Idk why so many good reviews. The waiting room was cramp the chairs were uncomfortable the wait was long and there was no water couldn’t even use the bathroom. While I understand the water issue wasn’t their fault I feel a place like a dental office shouldn’t be seeing patients while not having running water. Needless to say I won’t be visiting anymore mint dentals. Also the dentist was kind of arrogant easy to tell he was just there for a paycheck and spoke so low I only heard half of what he said.

Fantastic experience: I love this location. The staff members are friendly and knowledgeable. The office is clean and neat, and the hygienist Jennifer is amazing. She is very thorough and professional and I'm super pleased with the level of service and care I received! Don't walk/ Run

Negative experience: I won’t be returning back here due to the fact I had to get a cavity fixed 2x and I am still having problems with the tooth due to sensitivity so therefore I’m still eating one one side. The way they fix cavities is soo different from my old dentist it’s kinda scary tbh !

Negative experience: Today I had an appointment scheduled for 11am. I work through the week and I scheduled my off day around the appointment. I received email confirmation and text confirmation for today 02/02/24. I also received a call from someone from the front desk confirming my appointment, when the lady called me I asked her if there was some way she could verify my insurance is accepted. I looked in my insurance portal it said yes but I just wanted to make sure. She advised me that insurance verification is not done in house and that it’s done on the back end and I can come in and won’t have to pay unless I receive. Well duh I’m not gonna pay unless I receive treatment I needed the cost prior to coming in but whatever. I get up here this morning at 10:45 because I received a text saying coming in 15 mins early to fill out new paperwork. Not only am I sitting in the lobby till past 10:45 but the front desk lady comes and says they don’t have an appointment scheduled for me, they can fit me in but it’s going to take a while and my insurance is out of network. SUCH AN INCONVENIENCE CAUSE I HAD THINGS TO DO THAT COULDVE BEEN DONE BUT I CHANGED MY SCHEDULE TO ACCOMMODATE THIS PLACE, and my insurance is out of network wow. Have a great day but make sure if your a new patient you have to stay on them to do their job.

Negative experience: The front desk person was not friendly at all. No customer service and the dentist was like in a hurry and felt like he was just guessing when I was asking questions. I did not feel comfortable or welcoming in this office. They need to smile more, be more friendly to their patients and it all starts at the front desk. The guy in front has a big ego. The area around is so sketchy. Not comer back to this office

Negative experience: Never listen to the radio's advice! My issues were so horrible that I've considered calling my attorney. DO NOT GO HERE! A reminder of the time your mother told you not to touch the hot iron and you did. This would be one of those times a hard lesson learned. The only thing that keeps replaying in my mind is You can go now and the assistant walks off. I had white stuff all over my mouth while it's numb up to my nose. The entire time the dentist operated he hushed and puffed as if he was irritated. I'm not sure if it was by me or the assistant. He kept asking her for tools she didn't have and had to call for. I was there from 9 am til 2 pm for one tooth to be repaired. I was overcharged for X-rays. Yes, over $400 to be exact. My insurance had a waiting period for what I needed. I could understand that but why waste MY money on X-rays? I asked the representative at the front for the number of the insurance and was told to look it up after she refused to call them herself. There is no customer service. I didn't realize I was walking into such an unhappy place. When I'm called the insurance I was told the dentist is not in network BUT they have dentist that are within network. The rep simple told me that doesn't matter and it's the price for everyone. I'm in pain so I continue. I will file a BBB complaint also. At one point I could see my tooth and the blood around it. They kept taking pictures to make them look acceptable so honestly, I'm not even sure if the procedure was done correctly. I walked out with a twisted numb mouth and nagging pain. No one cared. Please let this company diminish like so many who have lost their integrity

Negative experience: This location is always running behind schedule which means they overbook themselves often. They will call you when they are ahead of schedule I advise that they implement also calling when running behind schedule.Also supervisor is very rude when explaining that you can’t wait because of work he has a smart rebuttal every time. Will be so glad when I’m done with my visalign treatment I will not be returning after.

Positive experience: I thought about giving a three because the wait time was ridiculous. I’m giving a four because the procedure itself went great but instead of having them do the fillings on the cleaning day I rescheduled because they said it would be a wait that day because they were busy. I made the appointment for two weeks out for both me and my grand daughter with expectations that it wouldn’t be a wait. Our appointments were at 10 a.m. I complained at 10:45 a.m. Someone came to talk to me at 11 a.m. and said it would be another 20 minutes. They got me in and I finished up about 12:30 with two fillings only to find out that they had not started on my grand daughter whose appointment was also at 10:00 a.m. They finished her two fillings at 1:15 p.m. I wasn’t expecting to be there over 3 hours for a couple fillings. We saw two different doctors. They explained to me that they had a lot of early appointments and run late for people who have appointments around 10. They should have said that when I made the appointment.

Negative experience: My son had an appointment. He was taken to the back but forgotten. He didn’t get service until I spoke. I spoke up because it was taking so long, and it was NOT croweded. When I spoke up, I was escorted to the back and he STILL hadn’t been seen by the dr and over an hour had passed. The clinic guarantees free teeth whitening, I had to ask for it. The office manager was very rude. I had a credit for that particular clinic. I’ve declined from future dental services from the facility. I asked about a refund of the credit…that was at least 5 months ago and I’m still waiting.

Negative experience: In the past, I have had some excellent times at Mint, but this time I was thoroughly disappointed. 2:19 pm -Upon arrival, there was a gentleman getting a procedure done and he was extremely loud. He continued to complain loudly regarding his procedure (possible extraction- For a client to be in that much pain something for comfort should have been provided. There were multiple people in that room looking and not really assisting) I checked in at the front desk for my 230 appointment. 2:52pm- I was called back to the same room where the gentleman was for the procedure. The techs were nice although they were behind schedule. The doctor was nice and arrived around 3:12 for a quick review. The front office came in at 3:20 to review the treatment plan- it's interesting how they talk so loud and you can hear everyone treatment plan- you would think that violates HIPPA or something. I heard the gentleman next to me whole plan and how he planned to pay for it. My cleaning started at 3:40 and concluded about 18 minutes later. Unfortunately the tech hit the roof of my mouth three times. After the second time, she apologized and said it was some plaque on my tooth- I shared that my tooth is not in the middle of my mouth. I believe it was the way she was holding the double sided instrument in my mouth. Needless to say I had a sore area in my mouth for 4 days. At the conclusion, I was given the whitening gel and a cute bag. They were out of the normal toothpaste that they normally provide and only had the travel size sensitive. The front desk was extremely nice despite all the noise. It's obvious that Mint has removed all of the initial customer service during a procedure and products- branded toothpaste and flavors of cleaning products that I enjoyed there.

Positive experience: First let me say I love Mint Dentistry's atmosphere in the office they go the extra mile to make sure the patient is comfortable and not intimated. That being said they don't do anything to prevent wasting the patient's time. I called at least 3 different times PRIOR to my appointment to make sure they were able to verify my insurance (since I had just gotten it ) and to verify that they were IN NETWORK. The last call was the morning of my appointment. I called again because after being told twice by 2 different people prior they would call me back letting me know if they were able to verify it or not. They didn't but that's not my issue. Literally the last question I asked was are you all IN NETWORK? She responded "yes ma'am". Perfect all is right with the world. I show up to my appointment early and on time for them to go through taking x-rays, ect just for them to pull the Okey doke and instead of getting the cleaning I was expecting they send in the person to break down the costs and why it was so high because they are OUT OF NETWORK. I was so frustrated and defeated because I literally called at 3 times over about a week and half time period to prevent this exact moment just for it to happen anyway. They tell you anything to get you into the office and bill what they can just to deliver disappointment smh. Because had someone either actually called back with that information I would've been disappointed to have to cancel my appointment yes because I do prefer MINT but if they aren't IN NETWORK what can you do but find a dentist who is. They've done this to me before about 2 years prior. They let me make the appointment let me come in just for them to tell me they are OUT OF NETWORK. Which is why this time I called to try and prevent this from happening again. At this point I'm just not even going to try again I'll have to try and find a new dentist all together even if they are IN NETWORK in the future smh.

Negative experience: Went in today for a cleaning and left 45 minutes later without getting a cleaning. Service has declined from what is was 2 years ago. I was told the tech was busy so the dentist would clean my teeth but no one came. I WAS CHARGED for service. I will find another dentist

Fantastic experience: Amazing! From the second I walked in I felt at ease. The guys at the front desk were so helpful, the assistant was so friendly, the doctor and hygienist were super thorough. I never felt like they were trying to push me into doing something I didn't need. I felt like I was in great hands the entire time!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love Mint Dentistry. Been with them for 13 yrs. Even done free work to make me smile. I had good insurance but in my heart I know my insurance did not pay for all the work that were done. I do not usually do Reviews but I tell you ; you will never find such genuine God fearing medical team.

Negative experience: I wanted to love this place but unfortunately they will no longer get my business. After making an appointment and sharing my insurance they wait until the morning of my appt to say I was no longer in network. The dentist was very short after I told her I only wanted a cleaning and no additional services. So I told them that day thanks but that I would not be returning. Fast forward my insurance sent me a check to cover services so I waited for Mint to send a bill. I finally got a bill requesting payment within 5 days or go to collections. No big deal I had the money to pay but the threats that I needed to surrender the check immediately were rude. I paid and won't be returning. Please verify you are in network before your appt. They seem to wait to tell ppl when your sitting in the chair.

Negative experience: I move to Mesquite few months ago and was happy that a Mint Dentistry was only 5 minutes from me. I originally went to Mint in Addison. The staff at Mesquite was nice and professional. They dont have adequate parking and I had to fill out new patient paperwork even though I came from Mint in Addison. Therefore none of my information was transferred and tried to charge me deductible again.. I was scheduled for my standard cleaning & had issue with one tooth. Xray done and show the filling had came out. Therefore discussed doing the filling and also cleaning. I agreed. Worst experience in my life. I am not sure what was used when the dentist did the filling, BUT it burned my mouth/lip. Very disappointing.

Angel was angelic and Hang did a phenomenal job on my deep clean! Like who brags about a deep clean!?? Me that’s who. Good job team! The whole experience is magical.

Negative experience: This office really needs some training in customer service. While I’ve been to this location before, I’ve never experienced such horrible service from beginning to end. My appointment was at 8am I arrived at 7:56am and the door was locked because the were having what looked to be a staff meeting. They looked at me at the door and continued the meeting as I walked back to my car. Once I am seen for my check up I was advised to discuss my payment at the front. That’s when I found out that this office was no longer in network. I was livid because I’d taken the time from work to handle my dental business and this office failed to advise that my insurance was no longer covered there. That should’ve been told to me before I even arrived. The representative was so nonchalant and lacked empathy. She even discouraged me from paying out of pocket by saying “yeah it’ll take about an hour”. I was totally disappointed at my experience. Someone should call to go over insurance changes with existing customers.

Fantastic experience: The staff were super nice and very professional. You can choose to watch TV or listen to music during your procedure and your chair is a massage chair!!! The experience really felt like I was at a spa! 10 STARS!

Edit: I did this review as Hang was looking over my shoulder holding a free gift for a good review. But they were supposed to be sending me a referral to get my wisdom teeth removed and they did not. Let them know via their survey that I wasn’t satisfied and someone was supposed to be reaching out, they didn’t. This place wants to just pump out patient after patient, they don’t focus on quality of care. Go find a mom and pop clinic, don’t start your journey here. I’ve already started so I guess I’ll keep going here for now.

Fantastic experience: Fabulous all the way through from Brook and Taylor at the front desk to Kennedy so helpful getting xrays and trays then Sharmika was gentle and kind cleaning a years worth of plaque. Fantastic experience: Came in for my examine and cleaning. Hang was the one assisting me today took her time and did such a great job. Very knowledgeable and gentle. This mint density location is always great to me.

Fantastic experience: The entire staff showed so much kindness during the entire visit! They were kind, knowledgeable and kept it very professional. They explained everything in detail and continuously checked up on me during my procedure. They made sure I was comfortable and aware during my whole visit. The front staff was also very helpful and Dr. Patel did a wonderful job ensuring my teeth were taken care of! She really did an exceptional job! The assistant as well, really went above and beyond for me! Even provided Vaseline to my dry lips! The entire staff here is so wonderful !

Fantastic experience: Trameika did a fantastic job doing my cleaning, arguably the most painless one I've ever had. Had a great experience here as usual. My dentist was very knowledgeable and everyone assisting on staff was very friendly and helpful. Only cons might be the size of the parking lot but I've alway managed to get a spot so five stars still.

Fantastic experience: Babajide was very good and attentive! This place comes highly recommended! I am still coming to Mint Dentistry 2 years later. Kennedy and Dr. Mallett are both awesome. I may not be saying or spelling either name correctly. My overall experience has really improved since they’ve been overseeing my treatments. I will recommend them to anybody. Rather it’s a diagnosed need or cosmetic!

Negative experience: Did not have a good experience when I visited them back in October. I felt like my appointment was extremely rushed with not only the techs running around but the dentists as well. It felt extremely unorganized and chaotic.I'm normally a very understanding person but this was disconcerting as I was a new patient. I expressed concerns of tooth sensitivity & was dismissed completely. As a result of my subpar visit I have decided to go elsewhere for my dental care.I have asked several times to be removed from their call, text, and email list and I keep getting alerts that I am overdue. I regret the day I ever even thought of trying mint dentistry. Would not recommend at all.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Mint Dentistry! You can get a nice massage with there massage chairs and you can listen to your own music! The staff is always so nice! They make you feel very welcome each visit, I love going to the dentist when they make you feel like family. Very trusting! Lexi was such a great help and made sure I was comfortable and ok during the whole process. My cleaner Kara is the best hygienist i have ever had!!!! The whole team just shows so much compassion. Negative experience: Staff is very friendly, I went for my first appointment on 4/6 and was told I needed deep cleaning and a molar extraction. I scheduled to have the work done on 4/16 and was called a few days before the appointment that they had to re schedule me because one of the Dr was going to be out, mind you that I was having some what pain because by molar was infected. So I had to get re scheduled again for 4/21, I go in and was put the numbing cream only on my left side, I asked if they weren’t going to the right for the deep cleaning and the girl said “no” that it was going to be the left side when I had already agreed with the previous Dr that we would go the right side so that I wouldn’t have much pain all at once since the extraction was on the left. Any way I let her continue saying to myself I’ll get pain medicine anyway so I should be ok.... WRONG the deep cleaning wasn’t even done by the actual Dr I think it was an assistant, I wish they could tell patients who’s going to see them and do the work. Finally it was time for extraction.. it seemed like they were rushing to be done. when the Dr came in to do the extraction I was raising my hand to let them know I was feeling pain, she only gave me one more small amount of anesthesia and continued, I’m telling you I’ve NEVER EVER had this much pain at any appointment. I was in so much pain I wanted to throw up, i asked if I could have some pain medicine they said they would give me some ibuprofen and antibiotics. I’m over here thinking ibuprofen for what I’m feeling!!!!! I quietly cried and as soon as I got in the car I let it out. I had been taking ibuprofen every 6 hours and even Tylenol in between for the pain I’m still having. I can’t even open my mouth to eat or drink without it hurting. I’ve been calling the office since today at 11 am to BEG for help with something stronger than ibuprofen and Tylenol at least for one day. I’ve called 5 times and all they say is they will check and call me back and they never do. I called one last time and the girl said the Dr called in antibiotic and for pain they didn’t prescribe anything but ibuprofen. I told her this is been the WORSE experience EVER!!!!! And I will NOT be going back for sure and I’m cancelling my daughters appointment and taking her somewhere else. Yes they are friendly and very courteous but as for me they seemed like they didn’t care or try to help me feel better. The Dr who saw me the first time was way nicer along with her assistant the ones who worked on me were different and had never seen them.

Fantastic experience: Got in at appointment time. Employees are pleasant & professional. Offices & examine rooms are clean. They are quick & explain what they are doing at each step. I needed a new whitening tray & got one with no questions asked. They also don't do unnecessary work. One time I was told I needed fillings. When I went in for the procedure, I was told they looked at the xrays again. Then did another examine & decided I didn't need the work. That impressed me.

Fantastic experience: I needed a lot of work done and everything was explained to me in a gentle yet informative way. The doctor was very sweet and made me feel comfortable before, after, as during the procedure. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic, I’ve been coming here for a year now and it’s just great, the staff is kind and friendly , informative, smooth in and out transition which I like. I really feel taken cared of, today’s visit was made specifically amazing thanks to Ashley D. And Kara who were just lovely, keep in mind I hate dentist visits but they made me feel comfortable and the doctor was just the icing on the cake. 1000% recommend. I will definitely keep coming back and I highly suggest you come take a visit as well. :)

Fantastic experience: Dr. Patel and Amanda were my dentist and they were very customer service friendly and knowledgeable at there craft and they really took great care of me . I'm so so grateful for there care and making feel comfortable while they took great care of me..Thank you Ashleigh and Taelore and Amy and Dr. Patel and Amanda I will refer all my friends and family and I will most definitely be coming back in the future!! Update March 29 2021 Sade was very professional , she was attentive and she made sure that i was comfortable during my visit i really enjoyed her common courtesy and I'm definitely looking forward to the next visit. I loved the environment from the front receptionist area all the way through the whole staff at Mint Dentistry. If you have not yet been i recommend you go and enjoy the experience.

Fantastic experience: My wonderful experience started with the young ladies in the front. They make a very uncomfortable situation less stressful! Sade took a lot of stress off of me with her soft spoken voice. She suggested a really good movie to take my mind off of my fears, and very grateful!

Fantastic experience: I had a great time my visit at Mint today. All workers are very nice have great customer service. They work with on dental plans. I love the chairs and the Netflix I want to thank everyone for their service and I will be back soon.
