Fantastic experience: (8/19/2025)— the Beautiful cherry and Erica gave me a great reception. just had another amazing treatment had a routine cleaning and examination! The hygienist Lana was so gentle and patient that I didn’t have any pain or anxiety will definitely recommend mint on Uvalde to my family and friends! —Amazing attention to detail!!! wonderful staff!!! And even better care!!!! I recommend this place for all your dental needs.❤️❤️❤️

Negative experience: There’s honestly no point in making an appointment here. I waited for almost an hour with zero explanation for the delay. When I asked the front desk how much longer, they just said, “about 10 more minutes” with no real answer on why I was waiting so long. If I were late, I’m sure I’d be charged or forced to reschedule, but they clearly don’t respect your time. This was by far the worst experience I’ve had with Mint Dentistry. Totally unprofessional and frustrating. Would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: I received excellent customer service from when I walked through the door til when I left, the energy never stopped. Very pleasant atmosphere and I really appreciated my goody bag it was power packed, thank you!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience here at MINT. Dr. Shah was nice and welcoming, I had not been to the dentist in a while and was really anxious from the moment I sat in the chair, but everyone made me feel comfortable. From the receptionist to the hygienist. Reception was fast and efficient. My only qualm is with the company and not the staff, on MINTs website they state that they accept all PPO insurance, however my insurance was not accepted. I was still happy to pay out of pocket for an exam and dental radiographs, however, unfortunately due to this I will not be returning due to cost. The staff did go over pricing and payment plan options for me as well, which I do highly appreciate the transparency from the team. I do highly recommend this place and calling ahead of time to make sure your insurance is covered.

Negative experience: Do not waste your time, dentist here are lazy and do not want to work. Went for a simple tooth extraction and the dentist refused to pull it and told me to go see an oral surgeon. The dentist also lied and said my tooth was not loose when it clearly was and I was able to move it around. Fast forward a month later I am at a different dentist getting the same tooth pulled did NOT have to see an oral surgeon. A regular dentist is pulling the same tooth she was too lazy to pull at mint dentistry. Waste of money and time dealing with company.

Fantastic experience: Great staff! They go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. Very informative, and they even provide extras to make you comfortable. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: East Houston Mint Dentistry is absolutely AMAZING. Even with a scheduling snafu (no fault of theirs), they welcomed us in, made us feel comfortable and there was absolutely no wait time even though we weren't originally on their schedule. Everyone was professional, pleasant, patient and informative. The dentist office isn't my favorite place but the staff at East Houston Mint Dentistry made this a very pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend!

Negative experience: Refused to give upfront pricing. Claim you have to be seen and not a free consultation but come out of pocket $147 just so they will give you a price for work...Zero transparency

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! The service was professional, attentive, and exceeded all expectations. A special shoutout to Cher at the front desk—she was so personable and made me feel completely at home. It’s rare to find that kind of warmth and care. Dr.Jones is gentle & attentive to every minute detail. Highly recommend!

Positive experience: Really disappointed! The front staff were Amazing, the Lady who took my xrays was Wonderful, the doctor was good but did not approve my free cleaning when I refused the more extensive cleaning which would have only been for my top teeth. I challenged her idea of repairing my teeth, not in a rude way but a less extensive manner of repair. I don't feel like I should have been denied the free services. It's Disappointing because I paid for services before I went back as was expected. Not sure why other, still beneficial services weren't approved.

Negative experience: They do not explain correctly about services. I was out of network and just needed a teeth cleaning which would have been covered but instead canceled because they told me I would have to pay one hundred something. My advice is make sure you have them clarify as much as possible because I did not understand why they did that.

Fantastic experience: Guyssss they have massage chairs while you wait to be treated! Definitely a fabulous experience, their so kind, generous and very gentle handed, lastly very welcoming, made me me feel like I’ve been there my whole life! The place is very clean and tidy and very beautifully decorated, just good energy overall I’ll continue coming here and will recommend it to anyone 10/10!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve had my fourth appointment with MINT Dentistry - East Houston and this has been by far the most friendliest, most welcoming, and most supportive dentist office I’ve ever been to! Absolutely everyone from the front desk staff, to the hygienist, to the dentists, to even the after hours call service staff are amazingly helpful, gracious, and courteous! There are not enough positive descriptive adjectives to describe this office. I’ve had deep cleanings, cavities filled, and bite adjustments, they listened to all of my concerns and addressed them thoroughly. As someone who hates needles and is overall nervous about going to the dentist, they put me at ease every single time! I highly recommend this office for anyone looking!

Fantastic experience: Great customer service! It was my first time visiting this dental office and the staff were friendly and made the experience less scary. The massage feature on the chair and music helped keep me calm and relaxed during my cleaning. Definitely recommend visiting this office. Plus I got a free whitening (because of my PPO insurance). They made a mold of my teeth and included a syringe for the whitening treatment. Overall I was satisfied with the service. Thank you!

Negative experience: This place will never get my business again the doctor always look confused. I was charged 800+ for a filling. It came out 2 months later the doctor refused to do her job and fix the issue. Get doctors that know what they’re doing please.

Negative experience: What kind of dental office repeatedly cancels appointments due to being understaffed? They canceled mine while I was already on my way—all because of an emergency. This isn’t even the first time. Yet, if I canceled within 24 hours, they’d have no problem charging me a $50 fee. Where’s the accountability? I’ve only ever spoken highly of this place, but this level of inconsistency isn’t worth it. Time to try a practice in a better-managed office—maybe then I’ll actually receive the treatment and respect I deserve.

Fantastic experience: Cher at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful. The whole team at this Mint location as well. I haven’t been to a dentist in over 10 years so I was a bit hesitant to look into dental care. I booked an appt yesterday for extreme tooth pain. Today I was able to be seen in a timely manner, all my concerns heard and addressed, and even had a necessary tooth removal done same day. 10/10 cannot recommend a better dentistry. Negative experience: I came to this specific location because of the positive reviews, definitely regret it. The facility itself looked clean, however the service was just poor. I booked an appointment to be checked and get a second opinion on whether or not I need my wisdom teeth taken out. I explained that beforehand, I had X-rays taken and that was it. No explanation on what’s going on with my teeth, no cleaning, just got sent to the front to book my appointment for a procedure that I wasn’t even sure I actually needed. The front desk associates were polite, but when I expressed that I didn’t feel comfortable booking the appointment( card info requested), the associate pressured me into booking because “there was only one available appointment for months”… I later went to a PRIVATELY owned dentistry and the Doctor was taken back at my experience here, he explained that cooperate businesses like this do not show the care and attentiveness that you get from a doctor who owns the business themselves. I agree and recommend going elsewhere.

Negative experience: They have good customer service but the service is not good! Had the worst experience with a root canal about a year ago that I am still dealing with right now. Will never come back

Negative experience: Mint dentistry is great for cleanings, but when it comes down to tooth aches or pains they have 0 consideration… I scheduled appt with them @ 10:30 am to schedule for a tooth ache to cancel my @3pm due to a suppose emergency with no one reaching out to you to accommodate your needs…but they are quick to send their txt message in regards to their $50 fee for cancellation… I then scheduled at the Little York location where there was horrible Dr service the dentist Dr Rachel had no interest in assisting the tooth ache since it was “late in the afternoon” her exact words… at least the manager from there Ms Bailey was amazing and was able to refer us elsewhere… Mint Dentistry it’s no a good dentist to rely on when sever aches need attention….

My 8 year old has never had his teeth cleaned, although I’ve taken him dozens of times (to other places), and today, he had x-rays, a cleaning, an exam, and fluoride applied! I was having a rough start to the day and they asked me how can they make me smile! That made my day! Other than that, the dental assistant was really professional and nice as well! Fantastic experience: 02/09/24 Another successful appointment with Mint. They are genuinely the best dentist office I've ever been to. I'm here at Mint on Uvalde and Woodforest. As soon as I came through the door the receptionists made me feel right at home. Oh, I can't forget about the free teeth whitening. I made the best decision to come here. Best dental experience ever!!!!!! You must try them

Fantastic experience: Great service on the east side is unheard of, but they have it here. Everybody was extremely polite. Nice, they offer you water and snacks. I got taken back fairly quickly. Got my x-rays, trays for teeth whitening made and got to watch Netflix in a massage chair. I didn’t get to watch for long because by the time I knew it the doctor was in. She did my exam and teeth cleaning and I was done. All around great service. I’m really happy I chose mint.
