I had such a positive experience with Brianna. She is kind, attentive, and truly professional in the way she interacts. Her gentle approach made the whole experience easy and stress-free. Brianna went above and beyond. She was warm, professional, and incredibly gentle. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Negative experience: We first visited this office in 2024 and planned to move forward with braces. At the time, the dentist strongly recommended we try Invisalign, even though I mentioned my daughter might struggle with compliance and it was slightly more expensive. We were assured that if Invisalign didn’t work, we could switch to braces at no charge (though switching the other way would come with a fee). That assurance was the main reason we agreed—it seemed logical and was said to make hygiene easier. Fast forward: Invisalign clearly wasn’t going to work for my daughter. When we returned, we were told the office had new ownership and we would now be charged a fee to switch to braces, despite what was originally promised. The staff has been polite, which is why I hesitated to write this, but I feel it’s important to document broken promises like this. Families should be warned that paying cash up front may lead to added obligations if ownership changes or prior agreements aren’t honored.

Fantastic experience: Kristen has been my hygienist for over a year now, and I get my teeth cleaned at least four times a year. Before Kristen, I used to dread dental appointments, especially cleanings. But since she’s been my hygienist, the anxiety is completely gone. Her calm and reassuring demeanor, always puts me at ease, making each visit a comfortable experience. Kristen is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to explain every step of the process, which I truly appreciate. She’s always patient with me and takes the time to thoughtfully answer all my questions with clear solutions. Thank you, Kristen, for your care and professionalism— You’ve completely changed how I feel about going to the dentist!

Fantastic experience: Had my regular cleaning today at Mint. Briana, my hygienist, was EXCEPTIONAL. She was pleasant, soft spoken, very steady, and super competent. There was "0" discomfort and she was very precise with her use of the water flush and suction. (With some other hygienists, it's like being waterboarded). Overall, Mint is great, and Briana is THE BEST!!!

Negative experience: I finished orthodontic treatment here in June 2025 and I’m extremely disappointed with the results. I still have a visible gap in my front teeth, poor alignment, and gum inflammation. I told the orthodontist and staff, and even reported that my aligners were cracked and not fitting properly — no action was taken. The office manager told me, “that’s the best he can do” and that I could get my records and go somewhere else. I also emailed corporate over a week ago and never got a response. This is not the level of care or professionalism that Mint Dentistry advertises. I paid in full, followed the treatment plan, and now I’m left with unresolved issues and zero accountability.

Negative experience: I will never go back to this place. I had a appt at 8, and spent almost 3 hours in the waiting room with two small children just to have them confirm my insurance, which never ended up happening because I left. They had verbal and visual confirmation that I had insurance, but refused to see me until they got off hold. They were extremely unaccommodating and I had to go up to the front desk multiple times to check on progress. My husband and I both need lots of work done so they probably lost out on $20,000 between us, including cleanings, root canal, and Invisalign… There were no solutions offered, no offer to reschedule or be accommodating… I will never go back here. What a waste of three hours of my life.

Negative experience: This place is a joke. Front desk lady doesn’t know how to do her job nor does insurance verification. No wonder this place has so many negative reviews. Don’t waste your time. Go somewhere else where they treat their customers well.

Fantastic experience: I had the best experience I’ve ever had at a dentist’s office thanks to the amazing team here. Brianna, the dental hygienist, was incredibly kind and thorough—she really took her time with my cleaning, and it was by far the best hygiene experience I’ve ever had. After my cleaning, I needed to have a few cavities filled, which normally would make me extremely anxious due to past dental trauma (especially with numbing shots and drilling). But Ahlana, the dental assistant, was incredibly understanding and compassionate. She talked with me the entire time, helping to keep me calm and comfortable. Her kindness made a huge difference and truly turned what could have been a very stressful experience into the most positive one I’ve ever had at the dentist. Thank you to Brianna and Ahlana for your professionalism, empathy, and outstanding care!

Fantastic experience: *Wanted to update, I had a dental emergency on Friday and Dr. Walia and Cori took such incredibly good care of me. I am so grateful to Dr. W, she explained all my options and was able to buy me some time before I need to go down the implant route. She is very skilled, very attentive to details, and I trust her work completely. Cori is just so sweet, non-judgmental, and makes you feel like you're her only patient even tho I know she's running around doing all the things. <3 I have been to Mint two times this month. I had a completely phenomenal experience with Dr. Walia, Cori, and Lakeisha. Lakeisha is the sweetest soul to encounter at the front desk; just has a calming way about her while making sure she gets the information needed and making sure you know your treatment plan and what is going to happen. She never stops smiling even though she is busy making sure everyone is being handled and taken care of. Cori is the best dental technician ever, I don't know her official title but she does it all! She truly reassured my many fears by making sure I knew what we were going to do, what to expect, and how long everything would take. She is a patient listener and answered any questions I had, as well as ensuring I was as comfortable as possible (glasses, music, etc.) She is truly an exemplary employee and I wish all dental offices had a Cori on staff! Maybe people wouldn't avoid the dentist if they did. Dr. Walia is a star, she dealt with my nerves and 1,000 questions like a pro and made me convinced it's time to start tackling the dental issues I need addressed. She is professional and caring, and does expert work without keeping you in the chair for hours. She truly made me feel like I was in capable and competent hands. I will be back soon for my next root canal! The dentist is NOT fun, but going to this Mint location makes it almost enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: I arrived at Mint dentistry/Grapevine and was immediately greeted with a smile. Everyone, starting with the receptionist, the x-ray technician, the dentist, and the tech who cleaned my teeth, made me feel relaxed and welcome. There was no rush to get me in and out. All my questions were answered. The dentist explained what needed to be done and assured me that everything she stated to me, would be provided for me to read at my convenience. I can honestly say that I've never felt more comfortable at a dentist office.

Negative experience: I paid $2,000 for crown filling removal and to check a crown I believed was leaking. Instead, the dentist worked on teeth I never requested and never confirmed if the crown was leaking. I left in tears, telling multiple staff members that what was done wasn’t what I asked or paid for. I was promised whitening kits after both visits and never received them. The manager said someone would follow up—it's been over a week, and no one has reached out. Since the visit, I’ve been in pain and can’t chew on the right side of my mouth. Now I have to go back this week for a porcelain crown—something I don’t even want to do anymore, but I already paid for it. This whole experience has been incredibly upsetting and disappointing.

The team is always professional and friendly, and you can genuinely tell the staff enjoys working here. Dr. Walia is incredibly attentive, informative, and takes great care in everything she does. Fantastic experience: Friendly, Fast & Efficient! I walked into a nice, relaxing lounge area and made an appointment for a few days later ... not weeks! Kristin is genuinely nice, friendly and helpful! She's kept me informed of appointments thru texts! At my consultation appt Emily took xrays and made me feel at ease. Dr W____ did my exam and was very thorough and explained what I needed. Kristin went over my insurance and payment. I returned a few days later and had my teeth cleaned. The dental hygienist did a thorough cleaning with no discomfort. Dr Chen filled a couple of teeth where the enamel was worn off. I was feeling anxious, but he's super nice and I'm pleased with my teeth. I had no cavities (thanks to my sonicare toothbrush) like I was told by another dentist. And, it turns out my insurance will pay for more than just a regular cleaning. Another thing I was told by that dentist. I've always gone to a dentist with a private practice ..... However, I am absolutely loving having a team of professionals who are friendly, supportive and thorough! I've found my new place for all my dental needs! Fantastic experience: Long post alert! I had my first visit with Dr. Walia and her team last Friday, and they truly exceeded my expectations. 10/10 - I absolutely LOVE IT HERE! The office is clean, aesthetically pleasing and the staff is not only friendly but also incredibly helpful and professional. Special thanks to Toukie, who assisted me at check-in and got me in quickly even with me running a little behind; Keisha, who did my X-rays and also got me settled in the massage chair for my cleaning and had the tunes going for me on Pandora. She had me laughing the whole time—her passion for her role really shows; Cori, who walked me through my dental hygiene plan and performed my cleaning. She made everything clear, and I had the best cleaning I've ever had—no pain, which I've struggled with in the past at other offices. Dr. Walia was so sweet, knowledgeable, and reassured me that I would be able to get my smile back perfect. It's clear she genuinely cares for her patients, and I'm so happy to be one of them. I also visited the ortho side, and Emily at check-in was the sweetest as well. David, another hygienist tech, was kind, empathetic, and really listened to my concerns. He made me feel so much more comfortable and less embarrassed about my situation. Dr. Wegley was straightforward, which I really appreciate, and he gave me the best recommendations. I was so relieved to find out I didn’t need unnecessary surgeries that I had been advised to get at another office. I also received a dental hygiene bag, which I haven’t gotten since I was a kid Ha! Negative experience: Bad root canal. The dentist at MINT didn't remove everything, and my tooth started to decay. A dentist in HOU (I moved) is the one who noticed it and mentioned there was an infection forming. He recommended i go to an endodontist for further examination. I finally got it fixed. The new dentist I went to did a great job. Took x-rays before the procedure and after to make sure everything was good this time.

Fantastic experience: I called around lunchtime for an emergency tooth break. I was given an appointment within just a few hours. Because I had updated all my information when I made the appointment, I was checked in immediately upon arrival and taken back within two minutes. Everyone was so kind and pleasant and they really have their system down. I was in and out of there with a temporary crown in about an hours time. I would highly recommend Mint Dentistry-Grapevine to anyone that wants superior care.

Negative experience: My appointment was at 8:45am and I needed other stuff done today but I ended up just walking out because I was just sitting there waiting and it 11:15am . This happened at my last appointment as well . The lady who took my pictures and the person who cleaned my teeth did amazing but running on cpt is unprofessional . This mint needs better time management or to be honest with time for everything . This is the second time I have had a horrible experience and didn’t get all I came for. Mint I had such high hopes for you .

Negative experience: Friendly staff and make going to the dentist a pleasant experience. Nice bonus getting teeth whitening trays for free. Update: I no longer go to mint. Mint if very corporate felling and you always have a different person cleaning your teeth or working at the front desk. Overall you feel like a number and I do not recommend Mint.

Fantastic experience: The facility is very clean and neat, the staff at the front are always welcoming and cheerful. The service providers are very comforting and knowledgeable. I had the pleasure of being serviced by Tawana, RDA! She is so sweet, funny and maked sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. She educated me and took thorough care of me during my visit. I love that I see her every appointment because it lets me know that I am dealing with someone who understands and knows my dental history here. I got a crown done, my first ever, I was very nervous about the procedure and what to expect so Tawana made sure I was comfortable and educated before hand. I was relaxed with music and a comfy blanket during my appointment, which was such a nice addition to my experience. I highly recommend this mint dentistry and the services of Tawana!

Fantastic experience: My son was in a lot of pain due to his wisdom tooth coming in. This happened on graduation day! They were able to quickly assist with medication until the tooth could be extracted. He was able to graduate with minimal pain. The staff is friendly and awesome! The doctors are professional and we felt taken care of.

They accommodate my parents all the time and with me going to college in another state in a few months, they assured me I will be able to stay in the process of completing my ortho with them. Fantastic experience: This review is dedicated to one Tawana J. THANK YOU MA'AM! Full disclosure: I hadn't gone to a dentist in decades. Lack of insurance, you know, the usual. When I finally decided to try and visit an office sometime ago (which shall not be named), it didn't end well. I was unprepared for the approach, and no one was really very welcoming or pleasant. Needless to say, I didn't want to do it again. My fianceé convinced me to try MINT Dentistry, and it really made all the difference! The facilities were modern and up to date. The procedures, while seemingly daunting, were explained in a thoughtful and considerate manner. Tawana especially held my hand through the process, explaining each step and advising that it was ultimately my choice, which empowered me to finally give my treatment a shot. I want to thank Tawana J. and the MINT team for a job well done. My teeth feel COMPLETELY different (which is kind of horrifying when you think about it ) and as I'm typing this, I'm about to head off to Mexico. Can't wait to show off the new smile! Negative experience: The front staff/office manager is kind but completely unknowledgeable when it comes to insurance or taking care of patients under the age of 18. I refuse to use Mint Dentistry ever again due to her the managers unhelpful nature. Doctors are great. The manager leaves a ton to be desired. I would give a zero star to her if that was an option. What a waste of time and money.

Fantastic experience: Every time I come here it’s a pleasant experience. From the CSRs, dental assistants, the hygienists, to the dentists, they have all been really nice, friendly and professional. I will say to make sure to ask if you are in or out of network. My first time, I didn’t know I was out of network and had to pay out of pocket, which lead me to go elsewhere for a little. After changing insurance, I was quick to return for the service. Overall, would recommend.

Fantastic experience: I was going to wait a few more weeks to write my review. I was THAT person so terrified of Dentist, that I wouldn’t go. Made every excuse to not go. Listening to 96.3 radio station, I said I’m going to try one more dentist before I pull my own teeth out, because their advertisement perked my interest. Tried them, love Mint Dentistry, and have been back 4 times in 2 weeks to stay on my plan. Today, I’ve gone to my mirror 10 times after my visit, to see that I finally love to smile again. I have more visits, and work ahead of me, but with the ease, comfort, amazing staff, and absolutely true caring professionalism, I won’t go anywhere else! Fantastic experience: Went to Mint Dentistry in Cedar Hill today after not having seen a dentist in many years. Everyone was so pleasant and professional. The dental assistant, dentist and the dental hygienist Victoria. My teeth where cleaned so thoroughly, she took her time and really worked on years of build up. She as well as the dental hygienist engaged me in conversation and decreased my nervousness. A very good experience overall.

Negative experience: Poor communication, they don't listen, the new practice manager talks over me, and it feels like I am being ripped off. I requested a quote for the cost on two crowns, and was given a verbal price. Every time I call, the price is different. All I want is a written quote to give to insurance, so that I only pay for what is needed. Why is everything so difficult?! I will not EVER recommend MINT for any dentistry work. EVER!

Negative experience: 0 STARS!!! I’ve been dealing with them for weeks and I have not had a great experience at all. The dentist himself is never involved in the appointments if anything he’ll just swing by and say hello and leave it to the assistant . It’s always a new face every single time. I started my Invisalign journey with them a few months ago to correct a few imperfections I did not like and now I completely hate my smile. They said I have 11 more weeks to go and my smile will be great. No, it looks a lot worse than it did when I first walked in. I had a hole in the back tooth that was turning black and no one raised any concern about it for months. Saw it in all of the scans and completely ignored it. it wasn’t until I asked them what that was and the assistant nervously said “oh yes, we were going to tell you about it” It started to turn black!!!!!! Every time I come, it’s like they are in such a rush. They want me in and out as soon as possible. I heard so many bad things about mint dentistry and their service. I regret giving them a chance…. Already made such a large sum of payments It’s too late to go back now hoping they can fix the problems that they have caused. I’ll keep y’all updated…. But my advice, you’re better off taking your money elsewhere. Somewhere where they’ll treat you like to actually care.

Fantastic experience: Technician was fabulous. Calming and gentle. Got my very elevated blood pressure down. Dr Chen was also fantastic . Kind and explained every step. And even thought the hygienist left for lunch he stayed to do my cleaning

Negative experience: I came in for a cleaning today. I was asked a question by the Doctor. I answered honestly on how I feel about the previous treatment. I also informed I have received horrible treatment of me by this office previously to arriving today. Then I have the front desk lady saying she is going to dismiss me and I’m not being scene because the doctor didn’t like my respond to her question. Saying how I answered. Nothing personal. In the end I’m the patient and have continued to be mistreated. So I have wasted 2 plus hours of my day that I can’t get back to have nothing done. I asked the front desk lady who is at the front desk that claims she is the manager when I asked to speak to the manger. So then I asked to speak to her supervisor and I get told she is in a meeting. How convenient. I demand someone call me asap. I also would like my cleaning to be conducted as they recommended was needed plus an additional deeper cleaning than normal.

Fantastic experience: From the moment you walk in- you feel welcomed! Keisha greats you with an incredibly warm smile and genuinely cares! Kristin at the front desk took time on the phone with me before the appointment and it truly felt like you were talking to a friend- wasn’t rushing and took time! Today’s appointment was just a routine cleaning- and impressions for whitening trays- Kristin wholeheartedly took care of everything and put a normally very stressed dental patient at ease! She had the best personality and was so gentle- I couldn’t believe how fast she did everything! My mouth feels so clean!! I can’t thank her enough!! If I could get her every-time- I would be so happy! Looking forward to the next appointment! (I have never in my life looked forward to dentist appointments!!)

Negative experience: The staff should more thoroughly explain processes and fees instead of just handing patients a fee breakdown and asking if they are ready to start paying today. Just going the extra mile to not assume everyone is familiar with certain dental processes that patients may have never done before. We weren't even told bye when we left the office, yet I'm expected to dish out over $4k. I just didn't like HOW the appointment flowed altogether. While my son was getting x-rays.....I was quickly handed a fee breakdown sheet. I had more questions about the fees so I was escorted to the reception desk. The receptionist girl was great. After thanking her for her help, I turned around only to see that my son was sent out of the room alone. NO ONE said bye or anything! They didn't even follow up with me or walk up to me to see if I needed anymore help or even if I actually wanted to proceed with everything. Was just left there in the front of the office with my fee breakdown. Thanks Mint.

Fantastic experience: I dread going to the dentist (probably like the rest of the general population). I went in for a routine cleaning after missing a couple of appointments due to the pandemic. Turns out that I needed 2 crowns to prevent further damage. I was so scared to get them done but Dr. Chen assured that this was the best option at the time. I must say that I was scared of getting any major work done. Dr. Chen made getting my crowns very comforting. He answered all questions that I had about the procedure. I have found my new dentist! The office staff are all nice as well.

Negative experience: Had a appointment to come in mid December to get a crown. The day of my appointment I get a call that morning that my price of $558 might be better priced in the next year since insurance would change and they would not get the crown done for another 3-5 weeks. Due to traveling I book my appointment Feb24 come in and after cleaning I get told now the procedure is triple the price. Please note in December I was told to just wait. So I leave paying an amount that I was not expecting in a situation where I had to get the crown done. Beware of misrepresentation as I even asked for them to help and make it right; unfortunately was told it is what it is.

Fantastic experience: They were great. I paid out of pocket and prices were very good. Felt absolutely no pin during my procedure and didn’t have a long wait before being seen. Everyone was very nice from the time that I got there until the time I left. Would definitely recommend.

Negative experience: Very disappointing. I went in for my 6 month cleaning and was told after I had arrived and had x-rays taken that I would have to come back for my cleaning since "We don't have any dental hygienists scheduled today so will be unable to perform your cleaning. You will have to reschedule your cleaning for another day." If you didn't have any hygienists scheduled then why didn't you call and reschedule my cleaning appointment vs wasting my time, or at least tell me upfront instead of half way through my visit. Very unprofessional!

Fantastic experience: Dentist Jason Chen is AMAZING, he has done several difficult procedures on me and talks his way through them. Each one has turned out perfect. He really knows what he's doing. Staff is great. 5 out of 5 would 100% recommend them each time. Today, at my procedure i questioned the taste of the water they flushed my mouth out with (tasted like battery acid) Dr explained they put tablets in the water lines because they don't trust Dallas water (me neither!) but since it was the first appt they said it hadn't ran through thoroughly. I told him it was burning my throat and tongue and he let me flush my mouth out and the team flushed the tubing line out for a few minutes and proceeded. Thanks guys for for always taking patients safety and comfort into consideration. My teeth couldn't be in better hands than with Mint and Dr Chen

Fantastic experience: Great dental assistants that walk you through the each step. The doctor is very thorough and detailed with what he is doing, and summarizes everything for you at the end of the procedure. It was my first root canal and I was so scared but it was a great experience and had nothing to fear after all!

Negative experience: All of these reviews must be paid for or manipulated. If you schedule with this company, you will get at least five confirmation text and calls. If you do not respond to ALL of them, they will cancel your appointments. When you do confirm, that doesn’t even mean you’re going to get an appointment. Two hours before my scheduled appt, they call to say they don’t have enough staff and have to cancel all 3 of our appts. I rescheduled them for today, 4 days later. They scheduled my 17 year old an hour before me and my other daughter so I sent her up there first. They refused to see her bc I wasn’t there at the same time. I explained to them that they never said I had to be there at the same time and that my daughter drove herself. I explained that they asked me her age and scheduled it that way when they rescheduled the appointments. One time, their dentist that was on call refused to see my 10-year-old daughter because he doesn’t see children even though they made the appointment for a child. Save your time and frustration and book somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: I’m embarrassed to say that I have avoided the dentist for over a decade... I’ve always hated how it felt and the family dentist I saw growing up always made me feel stupid and incapable, so I stopped going as an adult. For years since moving to Dallas I’ve heard good things about Mint and today I went for my first exam and cleaning. They were understanding, compassionate, and easy to work with. Got me all numbed up and on the nitrous oxide so I could relax and not feel much discomfort at all. Best of all they didn’t beat me down and make me feel bad, they simply made professional recommendations for what I can do better. I have several things I need to get done to get my teeth back to the beautiful smile I used to have, but they were very easy to work with in explaining what needs to be done, breaking things up into several visits that will be budget friendly, while prioritizing the more important stuff. I’ll definitely be back again, and if you’re in a similar situation to me or just looking for a new dentist, then I highly recommend checking out Mint!! I don’t regret it and neither will you!

Fantastic experience: Kristen was my dental hygienist at the Grapevine location and let me tell you—she was kind, courteous, professional, and SO gentle! Truly, this was a completely painless experience (which I think we can all agree we need more of when getting our teeth taken care of)! Hats off to Mint Dentistry—your employees truly are top-notch.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Mint Dentistry Grapevine for about 8 years. They totally changed my mindset about the dentist. It's not this scary place I used to think it was due to bad experiences. When you walk in you think you've walked into the wrong place. It looks more like a spa instead of a dentist office. It's warm, welcoming and everyone is friendly. I especially love Dr. Fisher, Nicole and the other super outgoing hygienist whose name I can't remember. Thank you all for a great experience! Fantastic experience: I usually have high anxiety with dental office visits (due to a bad extraction experience), but Mint Dentistry has changed my entire perspective! Everyone from the from desk ladies, to the dental assistant Luce, dental hygienist Christine, and Dentist Dr. Fisher, were super kind, patient and informative. My deep cleaning was virtually painless and I cannot wait to take my kids and husband in for an equally great experience!! Not to mention my teeth and mouth feel and look great!!! Thanks Mint!!

Fantastic experience: Upon entering, I was greeted by the cheerful front desk staff which was nice. AB, Dr. Chen and the front desk staff were extremely nice and professional. AB ensured all my needs were met and answered any questions I had. Dr. Chen was informative when speaking with me and he ensured I understood the information given! Great experience!

Negative experience: I have been using Mint for 3 years. Today was the worst visit I have ever had. I was just there for my normal cleaning. They did the usual x-rays. Then a Dr came in and said no cavities, but I suggest a deep cleaning… He left and they returned with forms for me to fill out. I said no to the deep cleaning, so the assistant manger said I will escort you up front… I said, without my cleaning? She told me since I refused the deep cleaning, the insurance wouldn’t cover a regular cleaning??? What??? She told me if I wanted to have my teeth cleaned it would be $135 out of pocket…. Never heard of such a thing! I will not be going back. Time to find a new dentist…

Negative experience: I will never go back to this clinic. They are liars and scammers. I’ve gone to this location since 2019 and had what I though was a great experience. I was told that if I signed up for the smile more club I would be given a discounted rate for my visit, it would be $5 a month and can cancel after 6 months. It was never presented as a payment plan. A billing representative called to let me know that I have balance over $2000 from 2019. This is absolutely terrible customer service. The office manager is no longer there and all of the new staff just respond with “I wasn’t here at that time and you are not the first patient to have this same experience”. I would have paid the balance at the time of service, but was deceived into joining their club plan. It’s a real shame because my kids really liked the dentists that we originally saw. They are no longer at this location and the current staff is very short and rude.

Fantastic experience: They all did an absolutely amazing job. I got my wisdom teeth taken out and I was super scared going in, but everyone at this location are so kind and made me comfortable about the whole situation. I will definitely keep coming back here!
