Fantastic experience: The facility is lovely, the staff were wonderful (shout out Brandon and Derek!) my dental cleaning was very thorough yet gentle. I also like how the office manager came into the room before I left and explained the pricing and procedures I will need moving forward. I left feeling taken care of and prepared for what's to come which makes the normally stressful and mysterious concept of dental health so much more palatable.

Major shoutout to my wonderful Xray tech with the best beard in the Houston city limits. Also my doctor was did amazing and constant work for all oral care for the past year. Fantastic experience: Jocelyn dental assistant was so professional and enthusiastic. Frankie was also a pleasure. Dr. Bryant explained my treatment plan to where I was able to understand. Very enjoyable experience. My fiance CJ will love it here!

Negative experience: I initially started off with the Invisalign which was extremely painful taking them out to eat then putting them back in due to the overeating I was doing this was an all day thing so I transitioned to the braces. The processed lasted for about 4 years I had a stubborn tooth at the bottom. Mind you my teeth were already pretty straight just a few stragglies from thumb sucking as a child. Alternatively I was disappointed on my last day of wearing braces my bottom row still had this stubborn tooth I stopped going and just wore my trays and they never called me to come in to finish by now I had my baby and couldn’t come out to get my second set of trays I was supposed to start wearing at night. No teeth whitening just left with the ugly damage of wearing braces and them removing them.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Young and his team goes above and beyond to make sure you leave the office satisfied! I definitely appreciate how genuine he and the ladies were during my vist. If you're looking for a new dentist look no further, I highly recommend this location. Thanks a bunch Whitney!

Fantastic experience: Today was a rough day! On the way to the dentist, I got a flat tire, and when I arrived, I was surprised by an unexpected out-of-pocket expense. I admit my demeanor wasn’t the best, and I probably wasn’t as pleasant as I should have been. However, Whitney and the other young lady at the front desk were incredibly professional and patient as I tried to collect myself during this "no good, very bad day." While waiting, I noticed a rude customer being difficult, yet the young ladies at the front desk remained calm and professional throughout. Moved by their kindness and patience, I went over to thank them for their outstanding professionalism. I’m writing this review not only to applaud Whitney and the team but also as a reminder for all of us to be kinder. There’s a lot going on in the world, and it’s never the fault of the staff when we’re having a tough day. Whitney and company, thank you for brightening my day and showing how we should treat others! She was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable about my insurance coverage, and just a pleasure to speak with. A+ service! Once I arrived, Emily walked me back to the chair and treated me like royalty. She started by complimenting my shoes (which made my day!) and even offered music while I waited. I’ve been here before, but I had no idea the chairs had massage settings—what a great touch! She gently took my X-rays for my 6-month check-in, and I truly appreciated how careful she was. Dr. Bryant came in shortly after and, as always, was warm, friendly, and thorough. Even though I had no major concerns, she still gave me great advice for keeping my dental health on track. She genuinely makes me smile every time we meet. Elizabeth handled my cleaning—even with my braces still in. While many places have turned me away, Mint Dentistry worked with me, and that’s exactly why I made the switch. Elizabeth was incredibly gentle and nurturing, and despite my tooth sensitivity, I didn’t feel a thing thanks to her expert touch. Before leaving, Whitney made sure I understood everything and got me scheduled for my next visit with ease. Highly recommend Mint Dental at North Shepherd—this team goes above and beyond every single time!

Negative experience: I had pretty good experiences until recently!! I paid over $400 for whitening and it was ineffective!! The tech was new and had never used thst type of whitening before!! I let manager know I was dissatisfied, she never called me back!! I have spent thousands of dollars from braces to invasaligns, and I was mishandled and taken advantage of. I did not ask for a refund, I simply wanted them to have an expert perform my whitening correctly. Do not go this location!!

My appointment went quickly, as scheduled and was very thorough. Frankie was so sweet and helped me feel at ease for my X-rays and cleaning.My teeth are tight and her flossing didn’t make me bleed once! Dr. Bryant came in and checked my teeth and listened to all my concerns and addressed them. She was so kind! Then the hygienist Soni came in and did an amazing job but still checked with me to make sure I was happy with the results as well. I loved coming here and can’t wait to see them in 6 months. Fantastic experience: For years , I avoided dental work out of fear - particularly extractions. But from the moment I stepped into Mint Dentistry on Shepherd everything changed. The front office staff was incredibly understanding and supportive. They could tell I was anxious and went out of their way to comfort me. One even joked “If you start screaming , I’ll come check on you”, which made me instantly laugh and eased my nerves. Then came Dr.Young - Bryant. She is , without a doubt, the best dentist in Houston. She performed two extractions for me, and I felt absolutely no pain - during or after the procedure. Her technique was quick, precise, and incredibly gentle. She took the time to explain everything and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. A few months prior, she also did some fillings for me-again, zero pain. Her calm demeanor and skillful work have completely changed my perspective on dental visits. I cannot recommend Dr.Young-Bryant and team at Mint Dentistry on Shepherd enough. They’re compassionate , professional and truly exceptional.

Negative experience: I was referred to this Mint location from their Spanish Trail location, and the entire experience was a mess from start to finish. Two appointments were never properly scheduled, and when I finally got in, they nearly performed the wrong procedure on two completely unrelated teeth. The doctor was polite, but let’s be honest—they’re nice when they’re trying to get your money. The lack of organization and professionalism was shocking. This was a huge disappointment. I strongly recommend finding a more established, traditional dentist—someone who knows how to manage their appointments and won’t put you at risk of receiving the wrong treatment. Avoid this place.

Negative experience: Cautionary tale to getting your teeth whitened in-house! Almost $600 for teeth whitening ..it’s apparently normal to have four days and counting of excruciating burning pain on bottom lip (entire lip was white on the interior and it burned to eat or drink anything/woke up with my lips dried together they were so dry it was so painful I cried so much) from exposure to the chemicals. I called them to tell them it burned to eat or drink anything - they scheduled me to come in so I missed work with the intention they would be able to take care of me but all I got was a shrug and a “sorry”, take over the counter pills and go buy Vaseline. I will NOT be returning even though I’ve paid for the expensive annual “insurance” that is really a discount rate program. Take your chances on getting 3rd degree burns inside your mouth!

Fantastic experience: I had such an amazing experience. I am experiencing some dental pain and the whole staff including Whitney, Nauol, Dr. Nguyen, Juanita and anyone else I might have left out. All made me feel cared for and made sure I got all the info I needed.

Fantastic experience: Whitney was nice and proactive at double checking my insurance for other coverage! Giovanni was pleasant and knowledgeable over the phone. Nigel was informative and very pleasant. Dental appointments are so cringe but they made it a great experience!!

Negative experience: 2 disastrous appts (yes, I gave them a 2nd chance). Inexperienced/untrained techs - 1st visit ended up *wearing* the putty used for making whitening trays (all over me, my hair, my clothes). 2nd visit - tech dripped numbing meds down my throat so I was left choking/gasping while my throat was frozen. Terrifying. There are lots of dentists in Houston - incl other MINT locations. I would recommend choosing another.

She didn’t want me to wait as the hygienist was tied up with another patient; so Dr. Bryant performed not only my exam, but my cleaning as well. That was such a remarkable impression! Fantastic experience: First time patient. Called to book an appointment and they took me same day. Giovanni greeted me at the front desk with a very upbeat attitude. Paperwork and X-rays went very smooth. I had to get a deep cleaning which requires two visits. First visit was a little rough with many numbing shots and had to hold the suction through my whole cleaning. Second visit was 5 stars. Greeted again by Giovanni, shared my experience with the tech who set me up in the room. Another dentist came in and was much gentler with the shots. Ashley did my cleaning and made sure I sat back and relaxed. Ashley also provided recommendations to help with my sensitive gums. Second visit 5 stars and thank you for listening to my concerns as I was super nervous to return. Greatly appreciated!
