Fantastic experience: From 2020: Everyone is SO KIND and personable here. They do their best to make you feel comfortable by treating you like a friend. I was pregnant upon my first visit with a broken molar, they made sure I was taken care of safely. When I came back postpartum to get the crown, Brooke ensured they got me in and out as quickly as possible so I could get home to nurse! Thank you for going above and beyond and making me feel so comfortable! I’ll be back and I’ll send folks your way!! Update 2025: Still the friendliest dental group I’ve experienced. I hate going to the dentist and have been shamed in the past for my mediocre dental care, not at this place. Everyone was kind and supportive, informative & helpful! He did great work and they have continued his tradition. Mt. Juliet is much closer to my house so I wish I had gone to them even sooner than I did. Negative experience: A very disappointing visit. The crown machine couldn’t connect to the internet so, rather than wait a day and see if it would work, my crown was sent out to a lab. Estimated time is THREE WEEKS. I’ve got an ill-fitting temporary crown in my mouth and do not have the energy to come in and have it messed with. The website advertises in and out in two hours from start to finish. And in the past, this has been my experience. Not today. Not happy.

Fantastic experience: If you are blessed enough to find yourself in the care of the Southeastern Dental Group team, then you are blessed enough. I have been to other dentists and hygienists over the years, but I have never felt as comfortable and safe as I do at Southeastern. Going to the dentist can be very scary, but Dr. Foster has a presence about him that just brings calm to the room. His demeanor is completely contagious and you simply find yourself relaxing whether you want to or not. I have had other dentists try to push expensive treatments and procedures that were completely unnecessary - I had one tell me I had gum disease and needed this series of antibiotic treatments that were not covered by my insurance. It was expensive and completely unnecessary as I did not have gum disease. But as a patient who was I to argue? How did I know? You expect to have a certain level of trust with doctors and when that is betrayed it's hard to garner trust. You do not have to worry about that happening at Southeastern. Dr. Foster treats his patients with integrity and respect. He is honest and not manipulate patients into expensive treatments they simply don't need. I will never go anywhere else again and pray Dr. Foster has no plans of retiring soon!

Negative experience: I would give them zero stars if I could. My friend is getting married this weekend, nothing to do with Southeast Dental just wanted to add some context. She has a cavity so she goes to get one normal, routine filling earlier this month. a week goes by and she’s still feeling a lot of pain in her tooth so she goes back to Southeast - they tell her they need to grind it down some and they do. Pain doesn’t subside a week later so they prescribe her some steroids for pain and tell her to come back a few days later. When she goes back in they tell her the filling broke and they have to do it all over again. That’s ridiculous, how hard is a filling. Now she is going to be in paid during her wedding, honeymoon, and has to go back in after all of this. On top of all of this, they cancelled her first appointment because they said their office was too a part of her insurances plan, and it was and it took her a very long time to figure all that out. Very unsatisfied.

Positive experience: My experience was very pleasant and professional from my first phone call with a dental emergency through the whole process of having a crown completed. While in the office, everyone was very pleasant and efficient. I was very well aware of everything that was being done at the time due to the dentist and the assistant’s communication. The most important thing is the dentist was very gentle, I didn’t feel a thing and the end result was absolutely fantastic. I am very satisfied and feel that they did a great job.

Positive experience: I believe everything is sort of OK...I say sort of...because I think the permanent crown that was installed may...may be too close to another tooth and prevents easy flossing. Otherwise the procedure went well.

Negative experience: Both my wife and I have been patients at this office and were initially very happy with the staff, including the skilled technicians and the pleasant demeanor of Dr. Moore. Unfortunately, our experience with Dr. Foster has been far less positive. This morning, my wife had an appointment for a filling. She is very sensitive and expressed this beforehand. When Dr. Foster began applying the numbing product, my wife had a minor, instinctive movement of fear. Rather than offering reassurance—something any compassionate dentist would do—Dr. Foster made a rude comment: "I'm not dealing with that this morning" and dismissed her outright. This unprofessional and condescending attitude is unacceptable and, unfortunately, not the first time we’ve experienced this from him. As a result, we’ve canceled all future appointments. It’s a shame that the behavior of one doctor has overshadowed the otherwise excellent care provided by the technicians and the friendly appointment staff.

They were very attentive and asked a lot of discovery questions and I could tell they paid attention to what I was saying! It was a very calm environment as well. Front staff is very friendly.
