Fantastic experience: Came in today for the regular 6 month cleaning. I had Amy for my dental hygienist today. She was awesome. She walked me through recommendations for better flossing techniques and brushing with my new electric toothbrush. She also demonstrated on my teeth using the polisher. When cleaning my teeth and scrapping off plaque she was very gentle but firm making sure to get it all off. She made this dental experience one of a kind and I had a bit of enjoyment for the dentist visit today. And I’m a bit excited for the next visit in hope she can help me out again. Solid professional work Amy. I will definitely be returning to this location to continue to get dental work done.

Negative experience: I received four crowns at Mint Dentistry in August 2022. In June 2025, one of the crowns completely broke off from my actual tooth leaving it unrepairable. It chipped within a year and I was told I would have to get a new one then it just fell out one day while reading messages. I was later told this happened because I have missing bottom teeth, which allegedly put extra pressure on my mouth. However, at no point before or during my dental work did anyone notify me of this risk, nor was it mentioned as a possible complication or a consent to sign. Crowns were pretty but not quality. When I brought the issue back to the office, I sat 2 hrs waiting & the only option offered to me was an aesthetic flipper. I specifically asked about an implant, but I was told I could only apply a small portion of what I had paid for the crown toward the implant. Considering this problem was not disclosed to me, and that I was not given any type of ongoing dental care plan or follow-up schedule, this offer felt inadequate. I was not presented a consent form which they made me aware of, which confirms I was not aware of any future concerns. I have felt unheard and dismissed throughout this process. Dr. Houssini (the current dentist, but not the one who originally performed my dental work) which she is no longer at Mint & have started her own practice has shown no concern about my situation, nor has the office shown any real urgency or compassion to resolve it. In my view, Mint Dentistry has acted unethically by failing to disclose the risks, failing to obtain a signed agreement about these issues, and failing to offer a permanent, functional solution to a problem that arose from their work. I now have another crown that is chipping and the dentist shaved it & have added another issue to the ongoing issue. Adding to my concerns about privacy and professionalism when I requested my medical records so I could get a second opinion, the receptionist mistakenly gave me someone else’s driver’s license via email. This is a major breach of confidentiality and further eroded my trust in this practice. I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed. Patiens deserve full disclosure, ethical care, compassion, privacy, and reasonable solutions not surprise expenses, mishandled records, and broken dental work. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Mint Dentistry. I purchased a Mint Plan to help with X-rays that I am responsible for while fixing an issue that’s not my risky. My pressure is always high when I go from the trauma of my broken crown & missing tooth. Mint has since reached out to me to offer me the price of the crown $990 but not a solution for the hole in my mouth. Also asked me to sign away my right to speak on my experience. This is not about negativity, this is about compassion for your patients. I’m not satisfied with their solution. I am having a hard time adjusting with a partial where I can’t eat or talk properly in less than 3 yrs of having work done. I’m so afraid my other crowns will do the same as they are chipping slowly. I would think they would care more about me a patient. The flipper below is what mint gave me in place of a missing crown, it is now affecting my bite & cause me to have an over bite & is moves around a lot. I was told they can’t adjust because it’s esthetic only. I’m very understanding, but no one will contact me. I just want my smile back.

Negative experience: This location texted me 30 minutes before my appointment and canceled. I had a broken tooth and had taken time off from work to take the time slot. The customer service was rude and unprofessional. She offered no other solutions. I would not recommend this dentist office. They are unreliable and unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: I always feel welcomed when I come here. I ended up coming here with my two small children and the office staff was very accommodating and kind. My dental hygienist was very pleasant and the initial assistant that took my X-rays. They gave my babies toys while I got my cleaning. Everyone was very kind to me which was refreshing

Positive experience: UPDATE 9/24: within just 30 days the offensive music is gone - if that’s due to response to the review, how very attentive. It’s not gospel but it is beautiful modern slow jazz type, which is second best! Thank you. I finally am able to come back and they play secular music in the lobby now; get to find another dentist now However, staff is friendly, but señiorita Bianca de Mexico is AMAZING LIGHT - love her keep up the great work sister!

Fantastic experience: I visited MINT Dentistry in Plano for a general check-up and cleaning and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The dental assistant, Shiza, was very kind and made the X-ray process smooth and comfortable. My hygienist, Amy, was gentle with the cleaning and also took the time afterward to share helpful tips for better dental care, which I really appreciated. The front desk team was also great—they clearly explained the procedures, the tests I needed, and how my insurance coverage works. Everything was handled in a professional, friendly, and patient-focused way. Overall, I left feeling well cared for and completely satisfied with my visit. Highly recommend this location for anyone looking for quality dental care!

Negative experience: My grand daughter had a appointment at 10:00am this morning. Arrived on time and waited for about 20-30 min before being seen. Once I enter the room shortly after the receptionist enter the room and said the hygienist was running late. Trying to understand why this was told to us 45 min after my appointment. This office is very slow. Staff are on their phone, laughing and chatting among themselves. I like Mint but we will be changing to a different location if not, a different dental company.

Negative experience: This place canceled my appointment, said that my insurance (Cigna) called and said they had to cancel it… I proceeded to call my insurance and the said that they never called and there’s no record of any correspondence between them. Then when I called Mint back, I was put on hold and then eventually disconnected… didn’t ever get the the office and had a horrible experience…. Never again

Negative experience: Used them for years kast couple of visits the hygenist were horrible. Had my cleaning in february can feel buildup around gums already. She was in and out in 5 minutes. I guess for my oral health I will go some place else and pay out of pocket. Can't wait another 4 months for insurance to cover it

Fantastic experience: Very happy and satisfied with the whole procedure of the dentures. Staff was amazing and Dr. Ria was excellent. She took time in adjusting the dentures where it was hurting during my follow up appointment. Highly recommend to anyone!

Negative experience: I had been going to Mint for 8 years. The experience got worse and worse! Telling me I needed a root canal which I went to an endodontist which fixed my tooth for $300 mint wanted $3500. I finally got fed up and left and asked them several times for my records. I still haven't received them! Very bad service!

Fantastic experience: My first appointment with MINT! AWESOME experience in every phase of the visit!! Erica managed the X-rays and pictures, explaining every procedure. My DDS was succinct, yet detailed in his assessment of my needs. Sunitha made the deep dive and proved to be one of the best hygienists I've been fortunate to have perform on my behalf. Again, AWESOME first visit!! Thanks to everyone!!

Negative experience: I had the worst experience of my life. I had one fills and two caps when my temporary was removed, and my permanent was placed my mouth throb every single day. I was in very bad painI called multiple times to let the Dr and the staff know I even went in to visit the doctor Concerning my pain. When I receive my bottom, partial teeth now my gum is Swollen on that same side which I am in terrible pain too afraid to go back Because when I left, it wasn’t no I apologize I’m sorry. I hope you feel better. Nobody checked on me to see how I was feeling. No phone calls no email no text message or nothing. And I’m still walking around in pain with my gum, swollen a big knot

Fantastic experience: I just wanna say this is a very late post but all the staff at this specific Mint dentistry are amazing, caring and welcoming. Even down to the insurance staff, they actually took their time to explain every single thing to me. I really appreciate that because the dentist can be scary!! They were so sweet so helpful from my Doctor down to the front staff. There were three specific ladies who made it worthwhile last time. Sad that I did not get their names, but I will be a recurring patient!!! Very happy with my care here highly recommend!

Negative experience: Lameka and Christy were amazing! These ladies are great at their jobs (X-rays and cleaning). They are sweet and funny and make the whole experience more enjoyable. Don’t lose these ladies, Mint! Updated review: This place has really gone down hill since I posted this. They are constantly running behind and my time is just as valuable as theirs is. I finally walked out of the office and on an appt I had this past Friday after waiting for an hour (some in the lobby and some in a patient room). They had literally only taken my blood pressure and put a bib on me. I won't be back. This is twice in a row that I've had this experience

Negative experience: Waiting time is long, and the first time visit was just the x-ray check without cleaning or anything else. The Dr only said hi & looked at my teeth for 10 seconds, that was it.

Fantastic experience: Mint in Plano at Legacy and Coit is AWESOME! Always super friendly and quick with check up’s and preventative cleanings. Had a new dental hygienist today and she was also AWESOME! The main dentist is always so super nice! Highly recommend this location!

She takes her time explaining every dental procedure step by step, her knowledge and care makes me feel very comfortable. Negative experience: Please, don’t waste your time here. I have been going to MINT for 4 years for general cleaning across DFW and have never had any issues. Back in July, I went in to the Plano office and found out I needed a root canal. Dr.Patel referred me to their partner endodontist (Field endodontics) and I didn’t find them very friendly or reassuring so I opted to get my root canal done with Dr.Patel instead. Fast forward a few weeks, there was still a bump on my gums after the root canal was done (meaning infection was still present). I went back to Dr.Patel, found out she wasn’t in the office that day because of a family emergency which is of course not in her control but the office didn’t even inform me. I didn’t want to see another doctor because I didn’t want to explain and go through the process so I went home and had to come back in again the following week. When I finally see her, she mentions that it can take up to 6 weeks for a root canal to heal and to see improvement. I trusted her and waited it out. Finally, in September she tells me that the infection is still there, but now she thinks the infection needs to be cleaned and treated by a periodontist. I go ahead and see a periodontist who refuses to treat me because he said it’s not a perio issue, I communicate this to Dr.Patel and she says she will talk to him. Even after speaking to each other he still refused. She then says “I still think it’s a perio issue but you can go back to the endodontist to see what they say” at this point I’m fed up. I’ve been running around for several months because I trusted her. If you can’t perform a root canal properly, just say that and let me go to a specialist instead of making me consult different doctors. After that I consulted three different endodontists who told me it indeed needed another root canal treatment because it wasn’t done properly. On top of that, my crown for this tooth randomly fell off recently meaning it wasn’t seated properly.. truly the worst dental experience I’ve ever had. MINT likes to market themselves as this luxurious dental office but it’s just a bunch of young, unprofessional dentists and employees who want to get your money. I’m out 4K now and trying to get a refund. Furthermore I’ve tried to reach out to Dr.Patel over the phone and she is blatantly ignoring me. Her office told me she was working and to call back the following day to get a hold of her, put me on hold for 15 minutes and then said she had already left.. like Save your money. they make themselves look cool by offering you to watch some Netflix with sunglasses from the dollar store. Go to an experienced dental office that may not look as nice but will do quality work. Thanks for listening to my TEDtalk.

Negative experience: I found this location through my insurance website and I was concerned right after my first visit for a simple dental cleaning. - I asked and insisted multiple times to be seen by a specific doctor, but they assigned me a random doctor anyway. With multiple branches and many doctors it seems they prioritize filling their schedule over patient preferences. - My insurance covers two cleanings per year. As a new patient, they performed an xray without informing me that I would be responsible for the cost. I discovered the out of pocket expense only after they filed their claim and my insurance did not cover it. - When I questioned why I wasn't asked to provide my most recent xray from my previous dentist, they simply told me they don't accept external xrays. - During my first visit they discussed a treatment plan with me. I reached out to my insurance and they advised me to request the dentist's office send the document for review. Once again they informed me they don't do that. - The cleaning felt rushed and they neglected some areas. Despite having an 8 am appointment I felt they were rushing to get me out as quickly as possible. Overall this was my first impression of them. I would definitely try to communicate these issues in person if I decide to return. The phone experience wasn't pleasant either, with frequent transfers between offices and they don't pay attention to what I say.

Fantastic experience: I have EXTREME dental anxiety … it’s not a joke. I cry and can hardly bring myself to have dental work done even when it’s sorely needed. I’ve almost let myself go septic from a dental infection twice (yes, I’m that bad) HOWEVER, I have found my forever dentist in Drs Patel and Avelos at Mint Dentisty Plano on Coit. If you are looking for gentle, friendly, fantastically thorough and completely wonderful dental care.. this is your place. Hop in the chair with no fear and they will do the rest. (You should probably continue to brush and floss on your own! But they’ve got you if you don’t remember and things so south!) Love love love my dentist Dr. Rhea Patel and you will too! Highly recommend… ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ not enough stars in the universe for how great they are at Mint Plano from front door to the chair.

Fantastic experience: Dr A and Persuia was wonderful and very professional. I really enjoyed my visit even when I was in pain. My visit was for extraction of my wisdom teeth. Let me tell you, I didn’t feel a thing when the teeth were being pulled. The best part was that I booked it the same day and was out a hour. Blessings!!!

Negative experience: So 2 years ago I came and got done a root canal and after they were done they just told me “you’re good to go” so I asked if I wouldn’t have any more problems with it and they said no. They didn’t even tell me that they needed to check on it every six months or anything, like they just kicked me out after I paid them. Now I got an infection on it and came back to ask if there was any guarantee but they came up with all what I just said above ☝️ and they washed their hands with that.

Negative experience: I was there yesterday, waited all most an hour then the dentist said the hygienist was backed up so she did the cleaning in a few minutes then let the dentist assistant finish! She didn’t even go over all my teeth. Was a waste of time. I took off work for nothing. Update: I got a call from the Doctor/Manager, she apologized and had me come in to get a cleaning from the hygienist that took extra time and took care of me.

Negative experience: The absolute WORST place to get dental care! They tried to tell me I have cavities on every single one of my teeth. When I came back to get one filled, the little girl who did my numbing injecting did it INCORRECTLY! She kept sticking me with the needle and causing me to involuntarily ball my eyes out because the pain was so bad! When one of the nurses came to try to comfort me through it by tapping on my forehead, the girl administering the shot said “what are you doing” and the nice man who was helping, defended me. I have never been to a dentist this bad in my life. When I saw the actual dentist to fix my cavity she had a very condescending attitude & I know my cavity was filled incorrectly. I will need it to be done again unfortunately. I got my permanent retainer repaired here as well & they glued it back on crooked & my teeth have shifted after 5 years & thousands of dollars on braces! They are extremely unprofessional & DIRTY! There is powder from the teeth moulds everywhere on the counters and the floor, there is dirt and debris everywhere, nothing is clean & it looks like they haven’t sanitized anything in weeks! One of the actual dentists that saw me asked me very unprofessional questions about my lip filler. Durring one of my visits, I waited in the chair OVER AN HOUR to be seen while people kept walking by my room, I eventually had to get up and leave because I had work & I didn’t think a routine cleaning would take 2 hours after my appointment time to complete. I already had a fear of the dentist but this place traumatized me. DO NOT COME HERE!!

Positive experience: I waited 15 minutes past my appointment time. The x-ray equipment was not in good working order, which cause the dental technician to have to take extra images. I waited for the dentist and waited even longer for the hygienist. The hygienist got water all over me, and I ended up with bits in my hair after she polished my teeth. The advertisements claim that you get tooth whitening with PPO dental insurance. I have never been offered that. To heck with a beautifully appointed office when the equipment is not in good working order.

Fantastic experience: I am so impressed with this office! The minute I walked in the door I felt at ese. Front office staff very friendly and polite. The dental assistant was very gentle when taking my X-rays . When I went to the room the chair is a gentle massage chair !! I was there for the first time so I wanted an exam and cleaning . Dr Patel explained what was necessary. Very honest and not pushing unnecessary work . Answered all my questions and concerns. I was given a treatment plan which I intend to follow through. It is refreshing to see a dentist that isn’t trying gauge you for unnecessary dental work . I recommend this office ti everyone.

Negative experience: I am 70 years old and feel like because of the condition of my teeth I was treated horribly. This is the worst dental treatment I have ever encountered. I went in for a deep cleaning and it took all but 10 minutes. The young lady was not customer friendly at all and did not rinse my mouth. I called to complain and was told a manager would call me back but never received a call back, the young lady took a packet out of the drawer put it on the counter instead of putting it in my hand.Please don’t go to this office if you are elderly or of a different ethnicity!!!

Negative experience: I researched and found a dentist that I really liked at the Plano location. I stopped seeing my old dentist of many years just to transfer to this dentist. Things were going great with Dr. M. However, recently the last few times that I scheduled an appointment specifically with her, I was told after signing in that I would be seen by another visiting provider. The old switcharoo trick. After the 2nd occurrence of this, I advised the scheduler that I did not want to book another appointment unless it was with Dr. M. I was assured that I would be seen by her again. Fast forward to today, I broke a tooth and need a root canal etc…invasive treatment. Again, during the booking process I’m assured that I would be seeing Dr. M. I walk in and start the sign in process and I’m immediately told that I will be seen by a visiting/traveling company dentist. Then the front desk rep proceeds to tell me that Dr. M. No longer practices dentistry, she only teaches. That was extremely disappointing and frustrating…but mostly the most unprofessional situation I’ve ever experienced in my adulthood when dealing with a dentist. The most courteous and professional thing to do would have been to tell the truth upfront and give me an opportunity to meet with other “permanent staff dentists”… versus being deceptive just to get me back in the door. So yes, I walked out with my broken tooth and all. It’s the principle of the whole interaction for me. Now I have to go on a cruise overseas with a broken smile. Thanks Mint Dentistry!!!!

Fantastic experience: Always a good experience here, but the last one was extra special. I was in a horrible mood and I don't really like going to the dentist (who does?), but Hygienist Bianca completely turned my day around. She not only enjoys her work, she enjoys going above and beyond. I had stains on a few teeth that I'd been told could only be resolved with bleaching. Bianca got them clean! I wish I'd taken before pics, but I was so embarrassed of the stains that I never snapped a pic showing them. Her perky attitude seems genuine and it's contagious. I've honestly never enjoyed a dental visit before. And that's coming from someone who went in cranky that day. Thank you, Bianca!

Negative experience: Seriously, this place is horrible. I usually don’t have a problem with Mint, but I had an emergency where I’m literally in pain for my toothache. I schedule my appointment for my lunch period at 11am. I confirmed it while leaving work. They said be here by 11:15, I said ok. I get here by 11am. They say, “we have a hygienist out so it’s going to be a 25min wait. I’m like you couldn’t tell me that when I confirmed my appointment so I could’ve rescheduled before coming all the way down here during my lunch. How is that ok? All they kept saying is we can reschedule we can reschedule. No, I was schedule for 11am and with no warning knowing I was in pain because I put emergency on my form I filled out the night prior. Outside from the receptionist who was no help honestly, the lady that took me back was really kind and informative so it wasn’t a complete waste. The only thing I can say is please be better on time management and warn people before they come into the office “hey we may have a wait” just so people are informed beforehand

Fantastic experience: Dr. Margavitch and her entire staff are honestly the best! They make us feel like we are a part of their family. We drive past 5 Mint dentistry offices just to go to this specific office! My family and I, are extremely grateful for such a wonderful group of people that are here to take care of us. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Patel and her assistant Bri did an amazing job on my cavities. They made me feel super comfortable and cared for. Dr. Patel was very patient with me and my bite adjustment. The office was clean and organized and the staff were very welcoming. Customer service and patient treatment were 10/10. I recommend this office if you are in the DFW area.

Negative experience: I went in to get my routine cleaning and I questioned why I'm still paying $70. A few years ago I had a deep cleaning and was put on a certain treatment plan. They are still trying to hold me to that plan even though I expressed I don't want to be on that plan, just routine cleanings and exams. Side note, after my deep cleaning a few years ago, I've been receiving regular cleanings at $70 a visit. The dentist now refused to allow me to have a regular cleaning, which is what I was scheduled for. I had to take all these pictures which I've never had to do, I'm sure as an effort to show me that I needed a deep cleaning. It showed me I had no build up and I have a pocket that is at a 3. I just asked to be on a regular plan but she wanted me to have another deep cleaning that I don't need just to keep me on the same plan. Funny thing is, if I would have just paid the $70, I would have received a regular cleaning no questions or concerns. She even tried to correlate going to the doctor and being told that I need bypass surgery and me not doing it, then 2 years later needing a heart transplant to me not getting a deep cleaning at her insistence because it's her license and that was my only option. Now, I have to find another dentist office. I was told that they would email me my x-rays, pictures, etc. so that I could do so but that hasn't happened either. I never realized that as a client, I have no say in my oral health care.

Negative experience: The worst place ever. I went in for a crown. Their traveling dentist left guaze inside my temporary crown cause root damage. They also smoothed out a tooth that ended up breaking. Two weeks later and they have asked me to schedule a week later. I have been in blinding pain. Look at their reviews on better business bureau. This place is the worse. I wish I had done more research.they reschedule more than 3 times for something they caused. I've spoken to corporate who assured me I had an appointment then of course they canceled. I'm finding a new dentist and I'm having my attorney file a small claims case for my money back and damages. This place us the worse do your research. Corporate is a absolute joke.

Fantastic experience: Dr. M was patient and kind and she made sure I was in no pain while extracting my tooth. I appreciate her professionalism and experience. Her Assistant held my hand which is probably not in her job description. This eased my nervousness and I am thankful for her as well. Happy Holidays to all the Staff at Mint Dentistry on Coit!

Fantastic experience: AMAZING cleaning, fillings, Crown visits with Dr. Patal & RDA Brianna! I have TMJ issues; I’ve had 2 open jaw surgeries over the past 2 years, many Halagan & Hyaluronic acid shots, so I’m EXTREMELY picky & high maintenance when it comes to finding a good Dentist & Hygienist. These 2 on Coit in Plano are simply THE ABSOLUTE BEST!! They care about me and my jaw the entire time!! They care about the Pain that I’m in and how I’m doing!!! They do quick, efficient, amazing work! They’re friendly and make a really painful experience as perfect as it can be!! I appreciate them so much!!! Thank you so much ladies, for your extending your Caring and your Hearts to your patients with extenuating circumstances that make them a bit more difficult! I truly appreciate you both!!!!!

Fantastic experience: My father went to this mint dentistry in Plano and couldn't help but explain how he had a fantastic experience in this facility. Everyone was respectful and kind to his needs. A specific guy, Nick, was beneficial to my father and was relentlessly trying to get help to relieve the pain in his mouth. Nick was very professional and patient. My father was very grateful that Nick went above and beyond to ensure he received some relief. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a dentist that has excellent service and puts clients' needs above anything. Thanks, Mint!

Fantastic experience: Let me start off with saying, I normally HATE the dentist! But after meeting Dr M and her wonderful staff, I am starting to change my mind about the dentist! Her staff is warm and welcoming to not only me but my kids as well. The entire cleaning process, exam, and treatment plan as gone smoothly. She does such a good job of explaining the care you need and why. The dental hygienist is also very knowledgeable and gave me some great at home care tips! I’ve definitely found my family dentist!

Negative experience: I really really wish that I would’ve done my due diligence by sifting through the pages of “excellent comments” that were solicited (bribed), to actually pay attention to the real ones. I have been a patient here for years but sadly, I believe it’s time for me to cut ties with this place and find a REAL dentist. It seems that every single time I come in for a simple cleaning, there is always more and more work that need to be done. When you decline the staff send become snappy and rude. These people are really only after all the money they can get and are not too concerned about the actual health of your teeth. It was recommended for me to get several fillings, several root canals and an extraction. I opted to go ahead and get the fillings done. Since then I have had so many issues with my teeth and can’t even eat. I called and went back to get my teeth adjusted and still am having issues. I wasn’t having these issues before and I am regretting getting this work done. Dr. Shin did my work and each time I have been serviced by her I get very pushy vibes. Actually I get pushy vibes from all the staff. Their marketing is top tier but actual service is in the dumps. I hate I didn’t get a serving opinion but I have decided to just go elsewhere because I can no longer put my dental health at risk dealing with these people. I would advise you to just stay away from here. Please, for your own good.

Fantastic experience: As always my visits to Mint Dentistry go extremely well. But today was even more exceptional!! I received my numbing cream shortly before the anesthetic. I love the way Mint suctions orally after using the numbing cream. I once swallowed a small amount at a different dentist and it was a horrible experience. It was like death was pending. I honestly didn’t even feel the stick from the needle. I would highly recommend them over any dentist. Mint feels like home. I also love the massage chairs and Netflix. And if movies aren’t your thing Mint has Pandora radio.

Fantastic experience: Dr. M is the best Dentist I have ever been to. She is compassionate and very conforting and non-judgmental at all times. She makes someone like me who is very uncomfortable going to the dentist feel like it is okay to show up for my appointments because she has a great office manager, Nick, who makes everyone feel important. Fantastic experience: I love Mint! The frontline associates are always pleasant and work with you on appointment times if things come up. Dr. Park will swiftly get you together! He is absolutely amazing and brought my smile back to life! He made sure I throughly understood my options and what they look like for me now and In the future, and he knows my name by face. The staff is beyond friendly and understanding, willing to assist with payment plan options if one cannot cover the full balance. Bri was amazing, she made sure I was comfortable, and understood what was going on and was in the know about what’s next. This love and care is extended to my child as well! I’d give them 10 stars if I could!

Fantastic experience: I love this office! I go to the Coit rd. location and the staff is super sweet and knowledgeable. Dr. M is fabulous as is her technicians. The office is always clean and smells really good. I’ve been a practice manager for over 13 years and there’s certain things I look for when I go to a medical facility. This location and the staff are spot on! This is a team that has been trained and managed well. They all deserve recognition.

Fantastic experience: My visits at Mint have always great. The staff is professional & courteous & the dentists are not paid based on services rendered so there is no incentive to falsify the results. At a dentist I visited previously, I was told I had 4 cavities, which I found suspicious due to my thorough personal oral hygiene...I went to Mint for a second opinion & was told I had zero cavities. I have been going there ever since & am very happy with my care.

Fantastic experience: Mint Dentistry has an Extremely friendly office staff and the doctor too! They made me feel like they truly valued me as a Customer, and that means alot in this day and time where Customer Service seems to be fading out of businesses. I left my current Dentist office of 13 years, due to the receptionist nasty attitude and lack of Customer Service. She had one job to do, spread kindness and she failed me terribly.

Negative experience: Wanted to share my experience with Mint Dentistry. The time before last that my wife went to the office. Dr. Shin worked on her and dropped an instrument on her face causing a bruise just under her eye. Because of this we asked that she have a different Dr. the next time we went back this past week. During the next appointment however, Dr. Shin also walked in and assisted with the cleaning. My wife was upset about this but did not want to say anything to her directly and told me, I mentioned to the front staff and they said that they did have a popup informing them of the request but that they were short staffed so the Dr. Shin was helping with cleanings. My wife told the person there why she didn't want her to work on her anymore because of the injury she suffered. Today, we got three certified letters and three regular letters from Dr. Shin basically kicking us out of the practice and saying we would be "better served" at another dentist. This was for me, my wife and my 9 year old son. There was no yelling or scene caused at the office to premeditate this so I am surprised to see this letter today. Instead of taking responsibility for her mistake, Dr. Shin would rather just tell long time patients to go to another practice. Have never been treated so poorly by a company and would not recommend anyone go to this location. Besides the above, the wait times can sometimes be long and you never get to see the same person. There is always someone different working on your teeth so you don't build up any relationship with them and to be honest I have had much better cleanings at my previous dentist before they closed. The office is nice looking and the front staff is friendly but the lack of consistency and their handling of this situation makes me not recommend them at all.

Fantastic experience: The staff here was AMAZING. I wish I remembered everyone’s name -_- But everyone from start to finish was kind, friendly and professional. Great vibes with the music and decor too! You can tell the team here really enjoy one another and that trickles down. I feel inspired to keep up with my dental care!

Negative experience: I went to Mint after a friend said that they have never had problems. I had my teeth cleaned and allows Ed them to do 4 fillings. My teeth are so sore sensitive to everything now from biting down, chewing, sensitive to cold, etc. it has been over two weeks with no relief. have never had any problems after a cleaning and now I feel like they have damaged my teeth. When I called back you can’t get the office you went to without going through their call center who couldn’t find me in the system and then disconnected the call. I am supposed to get my jute adjusted after the fillings - which I have never heard of so it makes me feel like amateurs work there. I should not feel worse than I felt just to get a routine maintenance. Do not go to Mint!!! I went to the Plano office

Fantastic experience: I had to get a tooth extraction today and I have very bad anxiety whenever I need work done on my teeth. Diego was my dental assistant today and he made my experience so much better! He held my hand and gave me words of encouragement. He was so genuine! I appreciated it so much because I was a nervous wreck. These are the things that really matter to me when going to the dentist and I am so glad that Mint Dentistry Plano is my dental provider! I will never choose anyone else! Thank you Diego! You are a gem! ❤❤

Fantastic experience: Every single member of your staff I encountered were all 10's. I had a really bad (and very embarrassing) experience at my former dentist related to an odd gag reflex that occurs during X-rays.) My X-ray tech was *so patient with me as I struggled through that. That alone was worthy of the 10. My former dentist hemmed and hawed over whether to proceed or to refer to a specialist and ultimately did very little for me. This team came in and got stuff done. I left with a repaired cavity and 1/2 of a deep cleaning. When the bill came, it was reasonable. I now have no clue what the other Dentist's biller was thinking. (We have good insurance.) Well done. I am very impressed.

Positive experience: Mint dentistry is the best by far. Shaqua made me feel very comfortable like we've been knowing each other for years. I am recommending everyone that I know to come here. Another plus is that they work with you financially so you have an awesome smile. Thanks mint dentistry.
