Fantastic experience: Omg this was the most welcoming staff I've ever encountered. The moment I walked in I felt a different vibe from the traditional dentist office. Everything is so modernized. The staff and Dr was very knowledgeable and made me feel like I was top priority.I love the treatment plan they came up with and I know I'm going to love the final product. Thanks Mint Dentistry Pasadena for making me feel like a human again

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Goldstein. From early on, I never felt connected or informed about my treatment. On one of my first visits, he even pinched my cheek as a “hello,” which felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. Throughout my 15 months of treatment, I received very little communication about my progress or what was happening with my teeth. The assistants were okay, but most visits felt like quick rubber-band changes. When I noticed that my teeth seemed to be regressing after power chains were added, Dr. Goldstein told me it was unlikely. By my next visit, the changes were obvious. When I expressed concerns about being scanned for a retainer because my teeth didn’t look straight, he looked and said, “You’re not crazy, I see what you’re saying. This is as far as I can get you.” That was the moment I decided to seek a second opinion. Two other orthodontists confirmed that my treatment was not complete and that this was not how they would have finished my case. In just 45 minutes, I received more explanation, compassion, and clarity than I had in over a year at this office. I truly felt dismissed at Mint. After I requested my records to transfer, Dr. Goldstein suddenly wanted me to come back so he could “try something else,” even though he had already told me there was nothing more he could do. The new office’s X-rays also showed spaces between my molars that should be closed. I’m now finishing my treatment elsewhere with a team that is kind, supportive, and communicative. It will cost more, but I would rather be satisfied than unhappy. I am still waiting for my records despite being told they would be sent weeks ago. I’m not taking away from anyone else’s experience—this is mine. He was quick to tell me that he has hundreds of happy patients. I just want people to know they have options and do not have to stay somewhere if they don’t feel heard or cared for. I would suggest going to visit a couple places before choosing. The only staff members I remember from Mint are Jordan, who was always kind and informative, and Brandon, who I was told would send my files (which I’m still waiting for). I wish I had known sooner that I could transfer my care. I would have left a year ago.

Negative experience: Had an appointment on 07/29/25 at 12:45pm this was my first and last time at this location. The girl at the front desk was extremely rude and not helpful. I’ll be returning to the ost location for now on.

Every dental hygienist I’ve had an appointment with is very detailed, take their time with you and do the best cleaning they can do for you. The doctors and assistants are patient, friendly, and gentle. Their orthodontist team is fantastic! . The office and restrooms are always clean. There is also plenty of free parking.

Fantastic experience: My experience at mint dental in Pasadena was the best experience at a dentist office of my 57 years Dr.j.phan was very knowledgeable and professional. His assistant as well my blood pressure was high he taught me how to breath. To bring it down using ti chi techniques and meditation the whole prosecutor was painless I highly recommend this dentist to one and all my only regret is all I can rate him is 5 stars the office alone rates 5 the entire staff also rates5 and the whole music sunglass gift deal really is an extra perk .not to mention I would hang out there just for fun.

Fantastic experience: I don't usually provide reviews on Google but I think this is worth mentioning. I originally saw a different dentist at the Pasadena location earlier this year. When my procedure was scheduled, it was with a different provider which made me nervous. Dr. Je and the staff at this location took extra precaution making sure I was comfortable moving forward with the procedure. Dr. Je showed patience and understanding ensuring I was informed during the entire procedure relieving my anxiety.

To the back staff operations Doctors, dental hygienist, and their dental assistants. Very pleasant, as well as a comfortable friendly setting.
