Fantastic experience: I love the staff! You know no one likes going to the Dentist, but we all have to go and from the first day till today, 12 years later, the entire staff has treated me and my family with love and understanding. I highly recommend Sanford Dental Excellence to everyone!

Fantastic experience: Very, very impressed by the dentist’s entire office starting with Dr. George Mitrogogos, Tracy, his office coordinator , and all of his staff whose names I don’t yet know because this is my first visit. I’m 70 and have been to many dentists in my life, having moved extensively: the initial exam was amazingly in-depth, the most impressive of any dental practice I’ve been to. Very happy to be a part of this care team.

Fantastic experience: It took a long time to get my Dentures but it was not because of SDE. Everyone at the office couldn't have been more compassionate, dedicated and have a beautiful sense of friendship towards everyone. They're all great, always smiling and loving.

Fantastic experience: My experience with everyone there was fantastic! This is the only time I have ever felt comfortable with a dentist! I was amazed at the time they took with me while explaining my treatment and options! My past experiences had left me jaded and ready to give up but they changed my mind ! For that I thank them ! Fantastic experience: UPDATE: Dr. Mitrogogos is undoubtably the best Dentist I have ever gone to. I had major surgery and unfortunately, one of my expensive front veneers came off due to what ever they thrust down your throat in surgery. I was very upset, and called the office and they said to come right away. I explained I just had surgery and could not sit and wait all day and they understood, took me in immediately, and the veneer was placed back as it was. I just want to thank Dr. Mitrogogos, Christina, and the whole staff for taking such good care of me, and highly recommend them for all your dental needs! OUTSTANDING, EXCELLENT and THOROUGH!! I've always dreaded going to the dentist but my front teeth were crumbling due to age and the grinding of my teeth. I needed SIX upper crowns and because I have a small mouth and can't open it very wide, I knew I would be a difficult patient. Well, not for this dentist...Dr. C and Christina made me feel so comfortable during a very lengthy and complex procedure. He is meticulous, highly skilled and really cares that you are completely satisfied with the end result, which I was....not just satisfied but THRILLED with the the amazing work he did! I just want to extend a big THANK YOU and HIGHLY recommend Dr. Mitrogogos and his staff for all of your dental needs.

Fantastic experience: This was my appointment to discuss my final project , my front tooth to be placed with a crown/ cap . The wait was very short even though I arrived early. They listened to everything even though I rambled. I explained about another tooth and They thoroughly examine my mouth with X-rays and Solutions. I’ve been coming here for a year and I have complete satisfaction. They are kind, patient and quick. I awakened last year during the process for a brief second and I was greeted with a warm safe hello before I safely went back to sleep. I expected pain after I got home but I had zero pain. They are that GOOD.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended this place from a friend that was overjoyed with her snap on dentures. I’m still near the beginning of this restoration but very happy with the dentist and the staff. I would highly recommend. I finished yesterday with the final set of teeth. Fantastic experience: I had the best dental appointment last week. It was a hygiene appointment with Carter. She told me the reason why tartar built up on my teeth is because I have dry mouth. I brush twice a day and still had a problem. She suggested using a toothpaste made to prevent dry mouth. I thank her for suggesting that because I want to keep my teeth for a lifetime. This office dedicates itself to great dental advice!

This practice is so well thought out, so wonderfully staffed, and so wonderfully guided by Dr. Mitrologos. The attention to every little detail is amazing. From offering a warm blanket while you are in the dental chair, to follow up phone calls and texts after each appointment, they have every base covered!

Fantastic experience: I've finally found my dentist. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Mitrogogos and his friendly team. I needed three crowns and two front teeth polished out. There were none of the usual wait time, and the doctor wasn't treating several patients at once. Dr. Mitrogogos stayed with me for about an hour, his work was truly outstanding. I'm looking forward to getting the final crowns in 14 days installed.

I’d been put off from going to the dentist lately after some bad experiences with large corporate chains trying to fill cavities that didn’t exist. Sanford Dental Excellence was great, transparent and honest with what was needed and got a lifetime client.

Fantastic experience: I love my hygienist Carter! This sounds crazy, but she makes cleanings like a spa day. She brings a warm blanket, and remembers all my preferences for the goodie bag. She’s pleasant and thorough. Makes sure HGTV is on or something to distract me. At the end, she brings a warm wash cloth so I can freshen up.

Fantastic experience: I used to become overwhelmed with anxiety any time I would visit a dentist. By the time I finished that first appointment here over a year ago, I felt completely at ease. Most recently, I had a pretty severe health scare that required a checkup from the dentist to clear me for surgery. My wife called to make the appointment and they got me in the very next day. When I got there, they were all so amazingly comforting. The ways they catered to the severity of my situation, is something I’ll never forget. I know they have moved things around just to accommodate me, and that is beyond telling of Dr. M’s character. I’ll tell anyone who will listen, this is the only place they need to consider when making a decision on a new dentist. The entire staff is one cohesive force of good that seems to make everything alright. You think this may sound like a reach, but I’ll wait for your own review after your next visit to tell you I told you so.

Fantastic experience: I STILL LOVE this practice! After a lengthy, medical-related absence, the staff STILL are so welcoming, friendly, professional, and excellent at what they do (and they always graciously laugh at my silly attempts at humor!). As for dentists, Dr. M is STILL the BEST! I continue to fully trust treatment recommendations and the quality of work performed, as well as enjoy my visits. I have been going to Sanford Dental Excellence for quite a few years now and I STILL can’t think of a single thing about this practice that could use improvement.

Fantastic experience: Today I went to Sanford Dental Excellence because I need a dental implants, and I have a great experience, all the stuff was very efficient and friendly, Tracy was very detail and professional, I've never had such a thorough dental exam, I had a complete examination of my teeth, including x-rays, bone density of the bone where the implant will be. They examined my gums and took photographs of each tooth then Dr Mitrogogos came to give me details about the implants. At the end, they gave me a detailed estimate of the treatment. I liked that everything was clear and very professional, and all of this was free of charge. Oh, and when I said goodbye, they gave me a little bag with gifts They are a family dentist who inspires a lot of confidence, unlike the large dental chains where you don't know exactly who your dentist will be. They gave me very personalized attention even without knowing if I will have my dental treatment with them, it is dental excellence as their logo says I recommend them

Fantastic experience: I traveled over 100 miles to see Dr. George because he offers FOY and after extensive research, I found this to be the best option for me while I save for end goal of implants. But let me just say—this experience went BEYOND anything I could have hoped for. When I came to Dr. George I was at my absolute lowest point. I had given up all hope of EVER having teeth that were worth smiling about. My journey had already been a serious nightmare—I went through traumatic removal procedure, 2 years of hell I was struggling with bottom dentures broken in three places and top dentures that looked so fake it was blatant. I was barely functioning, and I honestly didn’t know if anything could be done to make things right. I went to numerous consults for dentures in my area and every time, I got the same god complex spiel and felt like just another chunk of money for their bottom line. From the very first consult at Sanford, Dr. George was completely honest & transparent about what I could expect. He assured me that he could absolutely transform the aesthetics of my smile, but he also explained that my structural limitations for dentures would probably never get me to 100% satisfaction especially with comfort level. Fantastic experience: I cannot express enough how thankful I am for the quality care I receive at this Dental office. I started to let my dental care go after 2020 and my fear of dental visits took over. The more I avoided going the more I feared the treatment that was needed. When I finally went the staff arranged all my care and set me up for a cleaning with nitrous oxide and numbing gel. Although I am still very nervous this really makes the cleaning tolerable for me. Jennifer is very patient and very gentle. My teeth have improved and now I keep my appointments! I am extremely grateful!
