Fantastic experience: We have been to another other pediatric dental office and it doesn't compare to our experience here. Staff is very nice and professional. Appointment didn't feel rushed. I felt like they took care of my children needs 100% and heard then when they had discomfort during their procedures. The Doctor was patient and didn't seem to judge like we have felt in the other office we used to go to. Rodeo dental definitely needs a 5-star review. Negative experience: Went here. Spent $100 + on two consultation appointments. I needed an emergency extraction of one tooth. Not hard. It's bottom back tooth. Well they wait until the day before my appointment to call and inform me "I'm a bad candidate for anesthesia". I've had 5+ teeth pulled in my life using the same medications I take now. 0 complications. Fine, whatever. So they referred me out. Both places they referred me to tried to charge me another "consultation fee". You'd think if they were partnered enough to take referral patients, they could use the 1st dentist note/x-rays. I don't suggest this place.

Negative experience: Terrible dental office. I had my braces on for a year and a half with Rodeo Dental and my teeth DID NOT move. I moved to another city for college and my teeth improved dramatically after just three months with my new dentist. I would not recommend Rodeo Dental for your braces.

Negative experience: We have been coming to rodeo dental for years. We decided to move our kids from Edinburg to this clinic. Never had issues always wonder why we would pay so much. Just never questioned it. It was until my daughter got braces. We found out that we are not in network that’s why we pay so much. No one in all the years have told us this. BEWARE! Do not get braces fillings or ANY SERVICE here! My 17 year old got braces and the next day they were popping off cutting her gums. Every week for a month we were back in that clinic to get something fixed. We ended up canceling service moved her to Mint Orthodontist and haven’t had any issues. Rodeo dental never refunded my money as promised. Because I left a higher down payment than I was supposed to. We were not planning on moving our kids from this clinic. But when I would try to follow up with the manager she never took my calls or returned them. She clearly was ignoring me or she is getting paid to not be there. Then my son started complaining of A LOT of pain. We took him to another dentist and they told us the fillings were not done correctly that this is why he is in so much pain. So this was the last straw. The service and materials they use are worthless . The manager should be fired or sent to a training on how to manage the clinic and speaking to the parents. Front office staff was nice and always called back but didn’t always have the answers because hey we’re not the manager

Negative experience: Should’ve just gone to Mexico. Had work done and tooth still in pain. Went a second time and still felt pain. Called to move an appointment as I couldn’t make it for work and they put me for a month and half after. Did I mentioned on one of my appointments I was scheduled at 10 am and didn’t go in till 12:45. Ridiculous

Negative experience: I called asking to speak to a manager they said to please hold ,Jessica whom i thought was a manager since I asked to speak to one is just a receptionist .. What rodeo Dental is doing is illegal!!!!Jessica refused to put me to have authorization to take my daughter & put my information back on her profile . The manager has yet not gotten back to me at all. I have take ALL 4 of my kids to rodeo since they all grew there 1st tooth. It’s me who have always taken my kids to their dentist appointments! Not only that but I have insurance under MY name for ALL 4 of my children. The so called “father” basically kidnapped my 11 month daughter made false accusations & changed my information to his information there even though everything is under my insurance and my name . I would most definitely want to file a complaint against Rodeo Dental . I will also be getting in contact with my lawyer regarding what legal actions I can pursue against Rodeo Dental.

Negative experience: Had an appointment for my daughter to have a filling done! As we were parking at the dental office, they called to let us know they might need to reschedule!? Walked in and had a discussion with the receptionist! They decided not to do the filling and wanted to reschedule for the specialist! So, instead of paying $20.00+, now they want to charge $320.00+ out of pocket. Unfortunately, the insurance won't cover the new procedure! Ridiculous!

Negative experience: I have been bringing my 6 yr old here since she was 6 months and i didnt like the fact that i couldnt go to the back with her while getting her procedure done. She is 6 yrs old and had anesthesia to get a crown and 2 fillings done. I regret not being there with my daughter, when they gave her back to me she was crying...which makes me think she was probably crying during the procedure. Positive experience: It would be 5 stars if the place wasn’t so slow. The staff all seem really nice/ professional. However, the wait time is stupidly long. I got here before my kids appointment time and still took nearly 2hrs just to be called back for a teeth cleaning.

Negative experience: I come back four years after my initial review because while the services are not bad. The way the office is run and handled is very poorly. I've had several instances where documents were not submitted to the insurance on time and then they proceed to attempt to gaslight me and pretend that this was not their fault. Recently my kid had their wisdom teeth extraction. The appointment was set for nine they did not see her till noon. I get that the office has multiple patients to see however the patients time is just at important as the doctors. There is absolutely no reason for a three hour wait. The office can and should be handled more efficiently.

Fantastic experience: I understand my children are a handful. I have 5 kids. Angel, Sarah, Gustavo, Michael & Gerard. They can be crazy but Daisy was so nice & attentive. Fantastic experience: I had the experience of getting a extraction with dental assistant Ari and Dr.Hansen in the Killeen office and their customer service was impeccable. They were both very informative and polite and explained everything throughly and what i would feel during the extraction. This was the best dental experience ive ever had. Fantastic experience: I've been bringing my 2 boys to this location for a couple of years now and each and every time we request Nancy. She has been a great help very knowledgeable with the million questions my sons have. I have really didn't know the importance of the elastics and different techniques on how to maintain them and she explained it all in very understandable detail.. Thank you for all your hard work..

Fantastic experience: My granddaughters 1st Dental Appt and she did amazing. Gregg was amazing with her and definitely made her comfortable. Dr Wu was so gentle and patient with her. The waiting area was so much fun for her. Definitely recommend bringing the whole family here.
Negative experience: If you want to spend about half a day waiting and waiting, then this is the place for you. It took 4 hours for my children to get their cleaning and 2 fillings done. Not the first time we have to wait hours and hours. I am done going to “cookie cutter” places like this. You are just a number and to them. Then again, time is money, and they don’t make it a priority to schedule only what they can handle. Did I mention being on their cellphone is much more important that focusing on their job making things run smoother and getting patients in on a timely manner? This was our last visit at Rodeo Dental in Elsa. By the way, my husband is there right now… 3 hours later and he is barely going into a treatment room. I say he has at least 1-2 more hours to go, if he is lucky.

Thank you for working with our busy schedules and for being open later than most. My son was happy with the information provided by Dr.Smits on how to better care for his teeth.
Fantastic experience: This rodeo dental service had great people skills! Mrs. Monica and her team were very kind and catered to my child's insecurities. A dental office can always be scary for a kiddo but Mrs. Monica and her team made sure my child was a little more brave and secure with explaining step by step to my child of what they were going to do and thus giving my child the courage she needed to go thru with the whole process of the visit. Negative experience: The staff and specialist are great however the waiting period is too long. My appointment was at 10:45am which i arrived @10:17 and wasn't called in till 1:18pm. My 4 and 6 year old daughters have been fasting since midnight ended up leaving at 2:20pm.. This is the second time the waiting period has been so long.
