Fantastic experience: From the staff to the end of the service it was immaculate. We called first thing as soon as they opened , were told that they can see my husband but not a guarantee to be serviced. So we still made the appointment because of the excruciating pain he was dealing with . The process from the phone call to being seen was smooth. We were able to be seen and also to be serviced for an emergency extract. We will now become new patients . Southern Dental was recommended twice in a group and I definitely see why . We are soooo thankful for the staff and definitely for the doctor there . Fast and efficient. No long have a tooth with abscess… pain free . Don’t hesitate to reach out to them .

Negative experience: HORRIBLE! Patient beware! Do not take your kid here to have a cavity filled!! My kid left in tears! The new hires at this office are like children practicing on the patients. They gave very little time for topical numbing. Then didn’t even make sure my son was fully numbed before they loaded him up with 5 numbing shots! Not caring he was tearing up because of the pain! Not caring at all throughout the entire procedure. Dr. Antonio just kept cracking jokes and making small talk… ZERO care about what was actually happening. Dr. Campbell who has unfortunately since retired, took so much care to make sure the patient was doing ok and was well numbed with topical solution before the shots. Campbell’s care for his patients is clearly a lost art of dentistry in this office. I have adult to teen kids and we’ve had our share of cavities filled. This was BY FAR the most careless, rushed, painful and worst experience. After years of coming here, we’ll never be back for anything.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been dealing with pain around a tooth for years going to multiple dentists in multiple states. This is the ONLY practice that could give me an idea on what was causing the pain and started treatment immediately at the exam. Tiffany was amazing with my X-rays making them pain free. I wish I found this practice 8 years ago!! There was no wait time- they were right on schedule which is increasingly hard to find.

From my earlier years, I've had a lot of poor experiences with Dentists, enough so that I've actively avoided going to an office for the better part of the last twenty years. Dr Antonio and the amazing ladies helping him out pretty much dissolved all my anxieties about trying to get my dental health back under control. We discussed a plan of action, figured out how we can get it to work with my insurance, and for the first time in a long time, I've got some hope I'll be able to smile in public without terrifying small children and the faint of heart.

Fantastic experience: A friend referred me to this clinic. I called late in the afternoon to inquire about a wisdom tooth extraction. I was given an appointment for the next day. Was seen promptly at the time scheduled. Dr Antonio’s assistant was very polite, and professional. She described every detail before and after the procedure. Dr Antonio extracted the tooth in about 5 minutes as painlessly as is possible. I could not have been more pleased. I have a new Dentist.

I decided to choose Southern Dental Associates for 2025, praying that they (and my new insurance) would work this time. I just want clean, healthy teeth and a good dentist. Well, the unthinkable happened before I could even get established. A minor dental emergency, an old filling broke. I hesitantly called, explained my situation, and they got me right in after holiday. Even took me early--after THEY called ME to see if I wanted to come on in. Then, after the exam, said, "Hey--if you have time, we can do this right now." I was pleasantly surprised. No one LIKES getting dental work. But, seriously, it really didn't hurt. Dr. Fratesi and his staff made it easy and painless. Truly, from the first phone call to paperwork to today's visit and checkout, it was a dream. Very clean office and awesome people. Think I found my forever dental office. Thank you SDA! See you soon for my cleaning! (Oh, and PS--they don't ask for your review or give you anything to leave a 5 star review--they really are that good!)

Fantastic experience: I have full confidence in Dr. Trammel's knowledge. My dental issues are far beyond just a general norm. I went to him for dentures because my bridge on the bottom is past the pencil thin stage. The lowers had to be built up to compensate for the bone loss. He hit it out of the park. I have only had to go in for 2 adjustments, which took him 10 minutes each time. He is a true professional.

He gives you all your options and let's you decide what option is best for you. His staff is exceptional - very professional and courteous. Outstanding !!!

Positive experience: I don't even know where to start... The reviews had me skeptical, I was convinced they paid bots to post nothing but 5 stars. However, the minute I walked in I was proven wrong. The lobby, Fantastic. The staff, incredible. My hygienist and dentist were BEYOND understanding and compassionate at my situation. I cannot wait to continue to restore my teeth for me. They saw my girls the same day and did all these appointments in one sitting for us to we didn't have to come back numerous times. I literally couldn't have asked for better care. I'm only posting 4 stars because my dentist told me his wife also was skeptical about all the reviews being 5 stars lol. In reality, they get 10!
