Positive experience: The length of time it took from me having checked in was too long. A whole hour and some change only for the tech to tell me oh I forgot about you. I thought I was done until after lunch. Chile better be glad my mouth was hurting cause I would have walked out.

Fantastic experience: I had such a positive experience at Great expressions. Everyone was so nice in the dentist. Himself were absolutely amazing. His assistant was very patient and I mean I have no complaints whatsoever. This was the first time I actually went to the dentist fearful and came out feeling hopeful. Negative experience: Dr. Woods was very kind and knowledgeable took care of my issue. Yes My problem was my appointment was 1:00pm but was seen about 430 they was so backed up even a lady whose appointment was at 11 was seen about 3 pm. I felt this was not acceptable, they came and asked if anyone wanted to reschedule. I did not because my tooth needed removed and I waited for this appointment I was not going, wanted me to come back Thursday when I was here on Tuesday no way I was going to come back.

Negative experience: Had an appointment at 10:00am for teeth extraction. Waiting 2 and a half hours to even get called back. Then took another 2 hours to complete the surgery. Absolutely unacceptable!! Never in my life have I had to wait that long. Will be looking for another dentist. Ridiculous!

Negative experience: They doesn't answer the phones & if they do they hang up on you. They don't provide any information until the last minute. I had a 9:30 appointment which I never got a call saying any urgency was happening. So when I arrived, I was told I had to wait a whole hour and a half to then be told I have to pay $340. Which all should have been communicated before this visit?

Negative experience: They have absolutely horrible customer service! The front desk staff are rude, nonchalant and unprofessional. The doctors try to do any and everything possible to bill your insurance and credit card, even if the work is done out of order. They either leave you on hold or never answer the phone.

Negative experience: 6.30.25 Waited an hour and a half for service. I come in.I pay what they tell me to pay.And every time I come back to asking me for more money. The place needs a face, needs to be painted and needs to be redone and needs to be gutted. It's just old and raggedy. Finally requested my records so I can find another place that's more customer friendly. ----------- Since Great expression has taken over all the staff that I was familiar with has left and my experiences have been less than great. Dr. Jones is the only bright light there. He does good work. The office is outdated and at times was not as clean it should be particularly during a pandemic. The only reason I have not left is that I have been dealing with health issues and just haven't made time. Each time my appointment comes up, I'm like "I've got to find a new dentist." The office is not appealing or inviting. It is daunting and sad. I gave it 2 stars because I like Dr. Jones and Dr. Woods is pretty good as well. I suggest you find a better office that provides excellent customer service and has very high standards when it comes to cleanliness, cause this is not the place.

Fantastic experience: My 3 kids, ages 10, 6, and 3, are patients here and the environment is top tier. Whole pediatric staff is top tier. Matter of fact, the whole dentistry staff is unmatched. I actually had my wisdom teeth pulled at the office 2 years ago, great experience.

Negative experience: My experience at the Eagles Landing Office this morning was horrible. I had an appointment at 8 and was told at 8:45 that the dentist was not yet there . However, I was asked to pay the cost for treatment which I declined since I wasn’t sure what was happening with the dentist and the service was not yet rendered. At 9 I walked up, asked for a copy of my treatment plan and left. I will try to find a dental office that knows about customer service and values patients.

Negative experience: I usually do not leave reviews as I do not have the time but I will make an exception this time , the visit went well the dentist explained everything , that needed to be done and stated we need to come up with a treatment plan and I need to make additional appointments as to what needs to be done .I was told to have a seat and after waiting and waiting to schedule and discuss my treatment plan and other patients being seen before me, I asked the young lady at the front when would I be next she asked what I was waiting on they never gave her my chart to make appointments or plan the treatment plan .In addition to all that waiting there is no A/C and it was hot inside. I was told they would call me set up a treatment plan as I told them after waiting this long I couldn't wait anymore .I never received a call .

Negative experience: Terrible terrible dentist office. Day of my oral surgery I had to wait 2.5 hours after scheduled time. Post-op care is non existent and I haven’t been able to get anyone on the phone to discuss complications from the oral surgery. The mailbox is full and there is no option to speak with an oral surgeon or nurse. Please do not make the same mistake I did.

Negative experience: I used to work for great expressions a while ago and while I work there, great expressions was known for great customer service and treatment. While staff has changed my last few visits were horrible . ultimately I couldn’t believe how unprofessional front staff was (patient coordinators). My first visit after a while wasn’t that bad because it was just a cleaning however, my second visit to receive treatment I was in the waiting area a hour past my appointment time and then when I went to front staff to check on my appointment, they said that Dr. Jones would get to me shortly. I felt that after an hour, there was no need and I could reschedule; so I did . My third visit to do the treatment that I rescheduled for I got called to the front desk not to sign off on my treatment plan but to pay a $300 bill before I receive treatment due to my cleaning some how, not being covered by insurance. No explanations whatsoever. Not only did I not receive any explanation from the patient coordinator. She also did not give me a chance to ask if my second insurance kicked in or would pay and I was just told that I had to pay it now in order to be seen. I used to work for great expressions and I know the rules and regulations with appointment scheduling . So, not only was I never called before the appointment so that I could handle the balance before I came in, but to pull me up to the front desk to say that I have a balance without having enough time to actually discuss the balance was very unprofessional and inconsiderate.

Positive experience: Well first it was crowded and the air was not working air wasn't their fault. I guess I'm a little spoiled but I didnt find the staff very friendly. They werent rude or anything just not friendly. I guess no air had something to do with it. I never saw the dentist the tech tested my tooth and spoke to the dentist and told me based on the testing i could go. Let me repeat maybe I'm spoiled but in Decatur I'm walked to the front EVERYTIME. Today I was given instructions on how to get out and that was it. Ill see Dr.Woods in Decatur from now on. I do like the free parking.

Positive experience: I have never been seen on time at this location. Usually, not even within 15 minutes of my scheduled appointment. I did not expect to be charged for a cleaning. Appointment scheduled a month away for oral surgeon to remove my painful tooth seems excessive. Every time I call, I am sent to voicemail that tells me the voice mailbox is full. Nobody would tell me an estimated cost for my tooth removal. I need to sell some blood plasma to pay for the visit.

Negative experience: This is the worst dental office I’ve ever visited. On an earlier visit, we were referred to the oral surgeon on staff and had to wait an hour to be seen. Taking my mom in today for a cleaning that was rescheduled by their staff due to an emergency. When we arrived we waited for an hour before asking what the delay was and told that some emergencies came up so we’d have to wait a little while longer. After 2 hours, we asked again and were told that they weren’t ready and we then asked how much longer? The response, “I don’t know, maybe another half-hour?” Needless to say, we left. Why make appointments if you can’t keep them? It seems like they have emergencies every day. By reading other reviews, it seems that long waits and rude office staff are part of the norm at this location. Please check the other review site (Y£1p) as well as their corporate website to get a true feel for what this office is really like. Wish I could rate them a zero. Please also note their responses to negative reviews. They appear to be either auto entered, or simply copied and pasted.

Positive experience: The receptionists appeared to be indifferent. However, the doctor and nurse/ assistant experience was good. I was there for a 2pm consultation. I was called back after 20-25 minutes. I spent 8 mins with the tech and 1-2 minutes with the doctor. Afterwards it was a ~50 minute wait just to check out. I understand that this is a busy location, but It might be helpful for the patient experience if there was more than one treatment consultant. The extended waiting for this simple appointment was rather annoying.

Negative experience: I went to the Stockbridge location. I spent about 45 mins to 1 hour seeing the dentist and the oral surgeon. The problem is I spent 2 and a half hours trying to get pricing and services scheduled....and still left without either! They hurried and took my co-pay for x-rays after that it all went down hill. The check out desk staff needs IMPROVEMENT! I asked the lady at the check out how much longer will it be, as I had been there since 12:00 noon for my appointment and it was now 3:40pm. She told me if I didn't want to wait I could call back later. I was 38 . I went because my mouth hurt. All they did was X-rays, I talked to the dentist about what needed to happen to fix it, but I was never able to set those things up. Made an appointment for the location in Decatur, they came recommended and I was told they have better service!

Negative experience: This location has zero respect for anyone's time outside of their own. We waited 2 hours just for a simple consultation that was done in less than 5 minutes. We were told that the long wait was due to the training of a staff member, which is not an appropriate reason for us and several other patients to wait an hour before being seen. There is absolutely a way to address business needs while also providing good customer service and respecting other people's time. This place needs to learn that.

Fantastic experience: I had a root canal done by Dr. Woods. By far the best endodontist ever. He was gentle and patient and explained the procedure very throughly. He made sure I was comfortable on my own terms. For my first root canal, it was a breeze. If I could give him and his team 10 out of 10 I would. I am not going to anyone else ever.

Positive experience: I have been going here since I was a kid. I'm 30 now mind you so I think they do great work and I wouldn't wanna go anywhere else. But they make it near impossible to cancel an appointment. I have called multiple times. I called two days in a row and I keep getting the this voice mail is full. They gotta at least make rescheduling an appointment easier at least make an option online. This is crazy and it will be crazy if they charge me for it when I go back.

Negative experience: The worst dental office I've ever been to. Not satisfied at all. Waited 2 hours after my schedule appointment before I was called. Called put into a room for a doctor for another hour. This office is disgusting. Even before you get the service you want as a new patient you have to go there a few times before you get the service you want. They're just sucking money from patients and the insurance. Even to have a tooth extracted it's two visits if they don't make it three. I needed a tooth extracted couldn't get it done. Had to go to another Dental office to have it done! there's only one lady there at the front desk who seems to have some kind respect knowing how to speak to people. She's the only white girl there at the desk. Those black ladies at the desk is rude every darn one. I won't recommend anybody going here. And don't think you're going to see a good dentist because there's lots of dentists there,so you don't know who you're going to see. Some dentists here are good some are not good. So it's a toss up going to this office because you don't know if you're going to end up with the good dentist. Stay away go elsewhere! They are expensive as hell. There's so much complaints about the latest at this front desk in reviews that the turnover at this location is high. You may go today and speak to someone you go next week theres.new faces this is ridiculous. The worst place you could go for your tooth health. run run don't go here.if I could give them zero Stars I would have given them zero but one is the lowest. ‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️

Negative experience: Had to circle the parking lot for 15 minutes waiting for a parking space to open up. Staff didn't know which procedures I was getting, despite verifying them last week. Had to wait three hours to begin the procedure. Doctor barely communicated what he was doing. Extra anesthetic required mid procedure. They sent the wrong prescription to the pharmacy, then didn't answer their phone as the pharmacist tried multiple times to correct it.

Negative experience: I arrived at 1:30 for my appointment and got called back at 3:45. No one alerted me of a delay or provided any update--the entire time I was sitting there-- on why my appointment was over two hours late--even when I inquired at the desk--no information, just a weak I'm sorry. On top of this when I was here last week for a consult (waited 30 minutes, Dr. Waksor did not even look in my mouth so I don't know what kind of consult that was) I was given a 7:30 AM appointment for today only to be called yesterday to say the doctor doesn't do extractions at 7:30 AM and that I needed to come at 1:30 instead. What?! When they finally called me to the back, no apology for the long wait. When the doctor came in and asked how I was I told him I was not happy because I had been waiting for a very long time. He literally said nothing. Not one single word. Just jammed the syringe in my gums and said he'd be back in a few minutes. If my tooth wasn't hurting I would have left, but I needed it out. Both times I was in this office there were at least 25 people waiting. This is like a dental factory. Billing is questionable IMO because they charged my insurance for an "unscheduled emergency exam", but the May 1 consult appointment was scheduled on Apr 1, so hardly an emergency. Dental procedures are not always fun, but I've never cried until this one. I am a pretty resilient person, but honestly I was a bit traumatized. I was praying the whole time that he didn't slip and poke my eye out. I was gripping the arms of the chair, not so much because it hurt, but because it was scary. It was a tough tooth to extract, but I could have used a little reassurance and info about what was going on as he was yanking and struggling and the assistant was holding my head down. I for sure will not be coming back and really recommend if you can find another dentist that you do. Poor customer service and poor chairside manner.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience on yesterday. I have noticed the wait time has decreased over the last year as far as checking in and getting to the back, I also was not waiting too long to be serviced once I got into my chair to be seen. My whole visit was more time efficient, than previous visits and my service has always been been good.

Fantastic experience: Doctor Eddie Woods is seriously God sent. You can tell he’s a pro and has been doing this for years. I was completely nervous and my anxiety was high. His staff was welcoming and the two dental assistance were also attentive to my concerns and fears. They reassured me that was in good hands. They were right! The doctor came in up beat and asked how I was feeling. The overall process super exceeded my expectations. I prayed before going and God placed me with the best doctor. Wished I remembered every single staff person I met while going through the root canal process. Blessed and thankful to see my fellow black women and men care about the patients and love what they do. You guys are truly the best!

Negative experience: The employees that answer the phone are very rude. I was put on hold twice. Each time they disconnected the call. I need to find a better place to go for dental care. This place is horrible!

Positive experience: Recently visited here for a tooth extraction. The hygienist was kind and professional. My experience with Dr.Waksor was disappointing. I understand that extractions are quick and can be rough, but I felt a serious lack of empathy during the procedure, it almost felt like I was getting some under the table procedure. It was kind of a scary experience for me, I felt like a burden not a valued patient. There was no pain, which I appreciate , very skilled doctor . As a paying patient, I believe empathy should be just as important as skill and it literally takes seconds, especially during such a vulnerable moment. It also makes for a more professional look, I hope this feedback encourages a more compassionate approach going forward.

Fantastic experience: Summary report: Dr. Adam Waksor, removed two of my teeth, drafted bone replacement, and installed two implants. My face is swollen a little, but I feel fine with the medication. Follow up appointment two weeks. Dr. Waksor has a great team. Nicole made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. This is my second set of implants with Dr. Waksor. Fantastic experience: I will be moving out of state and was running late (1.5 to 2 hr commute) to my appointment and the Eagles Landing Great Expression Landing Office fit me in with such care and consideration- so grateful! Dr. Trent Jones is hands down one of the best dentists I’ve been too - been with him for years! He listens, does great work (but not unnecessary work $$$). He cares about the patients and staff (people). Christy, the dental hygienist is lovely and is so gentle - my top pick! Truly an A- Star team and though I will be moving to AL, I plan to stay with Dr. Jones and travel for appointments.

Positive experience: Wait time was extremely long (appt was at 3.30pm .. for not get seen until 4.45pm)and when I get there they r telling me the dentist is not there to see me. Negative experience: I had two wisdom teeth removed at the Eagles Landing Great Expressions in March 2025. My appointment was scheduled for 11:30 AM, but I wasn’t seen until 2:30 PM—a nearly 3-hour delay for a 1-hour procedure, which is unacceptable for a scheduled surgery. Post-op, I was only given a generic pamphlet with no personalized care instructions. Two weeks later, I called to check on a follow-up and was told it wasn’t necessary unless I was in severe pain. I still scheduled one, as I believe follow-up care should be proactive. Overall, my experience was disappointing. The office appears understaffed, disorganized, and lacks proper communication. I would not recommend this location and do not plan to return.

Negative experience: My experience was great during my visit ~~ I can't remember the name of the lady who assisted me ... she was really good but after leaving the office & going to CVS to pick up my prescription, it was not in CVS's system ~ that was roughy 1 hour after my visit(my appointment was @ 11:30a in your office). I then waited until 5:40p over 3 hours later, I returned to CVS and still no prescription from your office .... I'm in serious pain ... I'M IN SERIOUS PAIN !!!! After my first stop at CVS around 2p, I called your office 18 times trying to reach someone to see if the prescription was sent, NO ANSWER EACH TIME & the voicemail is FULL on EVERY OPTION !!!! I'm still sitting at CVS & NO prescription !!! Would like someone to reach out to me immediately!!!!

Fantastic experience: I'm new to Great Expressions and they've made me realize that I was receiving subpar care at my last dentist. Compared to the dental team I used to see, the methods used to treat my particular dental issues are, in my opinion, more advanced and state-of-the-art at Great Expressions. Also, the treatment plan recommended for me feels much more aggressive and serious than the lackadaisical atmosphere I was used to. I feel very fortunate to be under their care. Five big, fat stars!

Negative experience: After waiting months for an appointment, their hygienist and X-Ray tech told me I had to return for the cleaning because they had other patients since the x-rays (in waiting room and a big machine) took a long time. Although a dentist (very kind by the way) looked at my teeth and said they looked good, they came back with a treatment plan that include me returning 3x and each time with an out of pocket fee. They used my coverage on x-rays and want me to keep retuning even when my teeth didn’t need work. Even when the business is to have patients return, it’s a shame to waste time and now I have to wait another few months to find a new dentist since they use most of my coverage on x-rays and whatever else they billed for. I requested a returned call on the internal survey and no one reached after over a month. There you have it.

Fantastic experience: I showed up late and they still managed to pull me back in a timely manner, clean the heck out of my teeth, and provide a pleasant experience all around from staff to provider. Thank you for making the dentist suck a little less. I’ve been seeing Dr Etienne for over 5 years now and have always enjoyed his bedside manner and proficiency as a dentist. I recommend this location for the friendly staff and professional care, just be mindful when having more invasive dental work done and don’t be afraid to speak up if something feels incorrect.

Fantastic experience: The orthodontics office is 5 stars, they do a great job to take care of their patients. I just got out of 2 years of braces and during the 2 years every time I came the staff was friendly and very accommodating. They even got to knowing me on a first name basis without even asking for my name anymore. The unfortunate thing is that the orthodontics shares an office with the general practice dentist. In the general dentist office they do a very bad job and I would like to leave them a one star review. They are very mismanaged, Disorganized, are unfriendly, and most of the time you will be waiting for over an hour to get into your appointment. The orthodontic side is nothing like that and I would highly recommend them.
