I was very lucky to have Lay and Dr Taylor as my main care team. Lay was very professional and made me feel so comfortable before each procedure. She was so gentle and always reassured me everything will be ok. Dr Taylor she was awesome. Step by step she executed the task with gentleness which made me so relax and confident. Fantastic experience: Cracked my molar, they got me in ASAP. Office was super pleasant and clean. Everyone was friendly and helpful, very efficient. Was given very clear instructions and answers to my questions. Dr Oh got the bad tooth out and did a bone graft so cleanly and quickly. I have a dental phobia and I was completely at ease here, felt completely safe and in great hands. Dr Oh numbed my jaw quickly and I didn’t feel any pain. So thankful for this location!!

Fantastic experience: I came in with the worst toothache ever about 30 mins to an hour I was up and outta there no more pain yes it was fast and quick thanks to the dental assistance and the dentist he was the best my pain did not hurt as much as I thought it was 10/10 I’ll be back

Fantastic experience: I came in for toothache and ended up needing more work, I am deaf and told the nurse named Lay she took time to text to communicate and got me an interpreter and allow me read lips service was wonderful she was patient and understanding and kind. So was Dr James. I usually hate going to dentist but coming here is whole different setting they were friendly. Not cold like most dental place.

Fantastic experience: This was a very pleasant experience. My appointment was with Susan, the experienced, professional, but very pleasant and personable dental hygienist. But from the first encounter with the front desk staff, to the dentist checking my teeth after my cleaning (and discovering a filling that had fallen out that I wasn’t even aware of), to the staff that checked me out and scheduled my next appointment — everyone was kind, pleasant, professional and absolutely too notch! It’s just not NORMAL to have this pleasant an experience at a dental office visit! Buy that’s the way it was. Highly recommend these folks!

The staff is always amazing! The Front Desk staff has been pleasant. The Hygienist Susan was gentil, patient and informative. The Dental Assistant Jay is always kind, gentil, guides us through the process step by step and the Dentists have both done an amazing job. They took their time and thoroughly explained everything from the X-rays to the cost of my dental plan. I want to especially recognize Dr Taylor, Susan, Kameron, and Krystal for their outstanding performance and hospitality. You all made a DENTAL visit ENJOYABLE!!! And that’s rare!! Fantastic experience: Originally, I thought I made appointment for a filling today, but once I arrived, I was made aware that my appointment was just for an exam since I haven’t been there in about a year. Due to work, today was the only day I had available till next year to get my filling. After explaining this to the staff, Dr. Taylor was able to fit me into her schedule (thank God!!). Dr. Taylor and her dental assistance Monica and Jay were able to do my examination, a deep cleaning, and my fillings today! This was a great experience! Thank you!

Negative experience: My dentist in Hampton no longer accepts my insurance so I decided to try aspen. I came in for dental pain, keep in mind I had a plan with my previous dentist, I used PTO to leave work early in hopes I could get some relief. The front desk was kind, all of my issues started once I was called to the back. There was an assistant that stated she was pulled from Stockbridge to help out. She was very aggressive with my X-rays, she kept having to X-ray me over and over and her frustration with the machine grew more and more. She was rough with my mouth, pulling my mouth open so aggressively it felt like my lip was going to split. She would have the metal thing in my mouth and when she would readjust the X-ray machine she would hit the piece hanging out of my mouth, this happened several times. While in this area I noticed the machines are very dirty, there was dust all over them. She then brought me to the back and I laid down and she took more pictures of my mouth with a different hand held machine, again, she was so aggressive with opening my mouth and moving the camera in my mouth knocking my teeth, it really hurt on top of the pain I was already having. She then told me she was going to get the hygienist, I politely asked her if I could possibly skip that part as I’m in pain and I really just want to address the pain and we can do that another day. The assistant went and told a woman dentist, I believe her name is Dr. Taylor, that I was refusing the hygienist. She came in and told me I HAVE to see the hygienist before she even comes and talks to me about my problem. I informed her that I had a cleaning about 4 months ago and I didn’t believe I was due yet, that my last cleaning I was told to do cleanings annually— the dentist laughed in my face… come to find out I’m supposed to have them bi-annually (I was wrong). But she proceeded to laugh in my laugh and make me feel stupid and not so nicely mentioned I had staining on my teeth.. I wanted to walk out so bad but I was still holding onto some hope that they could help me with a temporary filling or something. I was so frustrated with how the dentist talked down to me I started crying in the chair and blamed the pain in my tooth.. the hygienist came and saw me, she was sweet— she even offered ibuprofen because I was crying from the “pain”— the dentist finally came back to me as I was still crying. She basically told me there was nothing she could do for me… they wrote me up a treatment plan completed different than my previous dentist gave me with a lot more work on it. I left that office feeling so defeated and frustrated. I will never be back.

Negative experience: We recently moved to Griffin Georgia and needed to find a dentist. I have seen Aspen Dental commercials and saw their office in McDonough on Hwy 20. Our first visit seemed okay at first, Xrays and a quick exam. I did mention to the staff that the office seemed "dirty". The exam chair I was sitting in had hair and dirt on the frame & exposed surfaces. The floor also looked very dirty & stained. They also seemed to think that I needed work done that has never been mentioned to me by any other dentist that I have had. They wanted to do a "Deep Cleaning", which was about $1,100, I get my teeth cleaned every 6 months and have never heard that recommendation before. They also wanted to perform other procedures that no other dentist has every mentioned. Overall my experience and my wife's was HORRIBLE. I asked to speak to an office manager and was told they were eating lunch. I ended up walking out and told them that things just did NOT FEEL RIGHT !!! Oh, also when I showed up for my 2nd appointment, even before they did any work the price magically went up about $250. My recommendation....don't waste your time going here. Dirty & Horrible follow up and customer service.
