Negative experience: I’m writing on behalf on my mother who asked me to write this review. She went in for the new patient special which was $99 dollars for x-rays and cleaning and after doing all the x-rays they told her they could not do the cleaning because she needed a deep cleaning. She understood she would need a deep cleaning but that would be out of the price range that we can do right now and she asked to just have a regular cleaning to try and get as much clean as possible and hopefully later on if she was able to would schedule for a deep cleaning. They flat out refused to do any cleaning unless she committed to do the deep cleaning at that appointment which was prohibitively expensive. So basically what this showed us is that they don’t really care about our health they just want to force things so they can charge. They should have done the basic cleaning that was paid for and included. I had a similar bad experience about 2 years ago when I needed dental surgery.

Fantastic experience: Very impressive first visit with Elite Smiles. Totally impressed with Christine, my hygienist. Very personable, professional and thorough. The most impressive cleaning I have ever experience. Dentist, Dr. Spradin, was also most impressive. I highly recommend this practice!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Negative experience: I called them 3 times before they picked up and they said I needed my insurance schedule. Hung up to find my insurance info. called back for almost 20min and no answer. Now they are closed. I called 25 ti.es in 20 minutes and no answer. I will take my money to a different location or different company. Unacceptable

Dr Hoppe and his tech Ann Marie have been great for the basics since I moved here a couple of years ago; however, the real test was replacing my front veneer. Positive experience: Cleaning was fast and efficient. I am very pleased with my new hygienist, Chelsea. I was a little disappointed with the price of some of other services I inquired about. As always Dr. Hopi remains a favorite.

Negative experience: BEWARE! They told me that I needed an extra cleaning not covered by insurance. Cost = $94. I couldn't work it in last year, so I scheduled it the new year when I didn't have dental insurance. Cost = $400. How could the same procedure cost 4x more within a few months time? And, to make it worse, their admin had this conversation with me in front of the entire, full reception area and kept loudly saying that I don't have insurance, intimating that I was not worthy of their services. Find another dentist that actually treats patients with respect.

Negative experience: To Whom It May Concern, I'm writing to express my frustration regarding my recent experience at your office. I’ve had to take time off work twice now for a crown procedure—first, when the crown was made incorrectly, resulting in a two-hour wait and an additional visit to have it corrected. Most recently, I arrived just 13 minutes past my scheduled appointment, only to be told I would not be seen due to missing the 10-minute grace period. I understand policies are in place for a reason, but I would have appreciated a little flexibility considering that the initial issue was not due to any fault of my own. It’s disappointing to feel that the inconvenience caused by the office's error was not taken into account when I needed a small courtesy in return. Missing work repeatedly and traveling all the way to World Golf Village is a significant burden, especially when the original problem stemmed from the crown not being properly made the first time. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, and that greater understanding and consideration can be extended to patients in similar situations moving forward.

Negative experience: The worst dental experience of my life, at 68yo I’ve never had such a terrible torturous unpleasant experience at a dentist office in all my life. I’ve had numerous caps and none were even remotely close to being this bad. The one dentist, doing my cap needs to change professions. I am now scared of dental procedures, which is terrible and never have I felt this way. The whole experience seemed to be profit and employee focused without regard to patient needs and comfort.

Negative experience: Been going here for a while. My brother had a bad experience so he left. Called and leave messages and no one ever calls you back. My wife has a cracked veneer. Called no one called back. Finally got through today Friday, they don’t have Dentists in. Now we are switching dentists. Overall poorly run operation. Like the Dentist and Hygienist but just not able to deal with poor customer service.

Negative experience: Alison has to be the rudest person I have ever spoken to over the phone. We owed the business 67 dollars and my wife was making an appointment and was told she had to pay the balance first and was sent a link 2x that did not work when I told Allison that it didnt work she said it works for everyone else. Very insulting to say the least.

The staff that performed my surgery knew exactly what they needed to get done, and I did not feel anything, which was great for me. Negative experience: The hygienists here are great (really! it's why we've stayed as long as we have), but we had a terrible experience with one of the dentists (looking at you Dr. Hoppe) in the past who was extremely callous and unsympathetic to my daughter who has dental anxiety due to a bad experience when she was very young. Today was the last straw. I was 13 minutes late due to traffic - I live 12 minutes from their office and left 30 minutes before the appointment and even spoke to them on my way about the traffic. They wouldn't take me when I arrived, even though my family regularly has had to wait more than 30 minutes when we've been on time (last check-up for my daughter was an hour wait!). I accept that I was late this morning, but to have such a restrictive policy is terrible. My family and I have been patients there for over 10 years. I'm extremely dissapointed. Why give money to a practice that clearly doesn't value long term patients???

Positive experience: It is always a pleasure to deal with the staff at Elite Smiles, especially Virginia. She is fantastic! I have been a patient since they opened their doors, and I have no complaints. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

Negative experience: We were on vacation and my wife had a temp crown come loose. I knew it to be about a 5 minute max thing and since we weren't patients, I certainly didn't expect it to be free, though I've known dentists that did just that as just a courtesy. What I didn't expect was a $241 charge for 2-3 minutes and a dab of glue. What a crummy thing to do to someone who is stuck. 2 stars for getting us in. -3 stars for taking advantage of people.

Negative experience: Just got off the phone with this office and was refused service due to the fact that I wasn’t willing to provide my Social Security number. Over many years now, I’ve stopped giving my Social Security number to doctor & dentist offices simply out of an abundance of caution. Knowing how often systems are compromised & SS numbers get leaked, and also knowing that giving your SS # is not a requirement to receive treatment, I typically choose to just withhold that. Of course, I’d be willing to give any other form of identification, just prefer not to have this one very important piece of unedifying info floating around. I was also under the impression that it was not legal to refuse service simply because someone won’t provide their Social Security number. Definitely doesn’t look good for this office…

Negative experience: I’ve been a patient at Elite Smiles since 2018, but it’s clear this place now prioritizes money over patient care. Their insurance coordinator made a billing error, yet they’re trying to charge me for it. To top it off, the payment rep was rude and even hung up on me. This is how they treat loyal patients—good luck to anyone else!

Honest with their prices and they genuinely care about your smile. I had four fillings done by them and it couldn't of gone smoother. I will definitely be back for a cleaning in six months.

Appointments are quick but not rushed, he is super knowledgeable including parents in the decision making process and doesn’t recommend unnecessary or too early interventions. We love that the office is super convenient and the staff is super nice also!

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough kind and caring words about Dr. Emory Spradlin! She is so sweet and knows her teeth (well teeth in general) and always has the best plan for the patient! She listens to the pt and their concerns and then goes above and beyond to help. She is from my home state so I may be a little biased. I live an hour away now and LITERALLY PICKED MY NEW DENTAL INSURANCE BASED ON ELITE SMILES ACCEPTANCE. Dr Spradlin was able to get the ACCURATE color of my original teeth (pretty white) to match the color of my crowns! I was so scared to even get 1 crown and that it would be NOTICEABLE and YOU’D NEVER KNOW but I have about 5-6 crowns MATCHING my color. The entire staff is amazing and so accommodating. Always so friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic experience: I needed a checkup exam after returning from Panama Central America where I was treated for a gum infection. I was seen the same day after calling 2 other offices who did not take walkins. They were recommended by my daughter and I was very satisfied with their care

Negative experience: I had a very unpleasant experience with the front desk staff. I arrived a bit late for my appointment and tried calling ahead, but no one answered. When I arrived, I politely requested if they could still accommodate me. While I understand and respect their company policy, the person at the counter was unnecessarily rude. Instead of handling the situation professionally, she dismissed me, saying I could go to any other dental office and proceeded to cancel.

Negative experience: Unfortunately I had a sick dog this morning and arrived at the office 2 mins past the 10 min policy and they chose to lose my business and my family’s. Their lobby was empty. I never take my full time for cleanings because the hygienist has told me I rarely have tarter. I completely understand for people that are 15-20 mins but it was 2 mins. Literally. Not to mention they have a very rude dentist there that likes to argue with patients and all the new ones are rookies just out of dental school that ruined my husbands crown because they don’t know what they are doing. We should’ve changed dentists last year when they damaged his crown and did not file one of mine properly. We have not been happy with them but now over 2 mins. Forget it! Find another option and save yourself the trouble with this place! ****Update, my husband’s crown they ruined was supposed to be fixed today at THEIR expense at 2pm! Because I asked for my records (not my husband’s) and did this review, they cancelled HIS appointment and lied to him in a text message saying I told them to cancel it! Stay away from this place!!! The office manager had the nerve to call me crazy when I called to ask why she would cancel his appt and not fix what they messed up and agreed to pay for! Wow, so unethical!****

Fantastic experience: There are not enough stars for how much I recommend Dr. Sun and Andi at Elite Smiles. My daughter Olivia needs several appointments worth of work done and from the very first appointment I knew we were in the right spot. It's so important when dealing with kids that the providers are more focused on the child being comfortable than just sprinting through the work. The care and attention given to my daughter was amazing. We are so lucky to have found such an amazing team.

Negative experience: I am writing this to express my disappointment and concern regarding a recent experience at the office. I have always expected to be treated with professionalism, respect, and understanding. Unfortunately, my recent interaction with one of your staff members “Annie” has left me questioning the quality of care provided at your office. When I called to reschedule an appointment, I overheard the receptionist making disparaging comments about me after our conversation had supposedly ended. Upon calling back to address this, I received what I felt was a sarcastic and dismissive apology, which only added to my frustration. I recognize that we all have moments of stress and miscommunication, but to witness such unprofessional behavior was disappointing. I am even more disappointed in the decision to cancel my son’s appointment and to request that we seek care elsewhere, especially without taking the time to discuss this matter in person or attempt to resolve it amicably. I would have appreciated a more open, empathetic approach rather than being turned away. My family and I are patients (4 of us to be exact), I expected a certain standard of care and respect, which I feel was not upheld in this instance. I hope that this feedback can help improve the experience for other patients in the future, as mutual respect and professionalism are crucial in healthcare. I’m not surprised there aren’t as many negative reviews here as they’re in Yelp!

Fantastic experience: Jana did my 6-month cleaning this time with X-rays and was careful not to hurt me with the implements. I met Dr. Carpender & she performed my first mouth cancer exam. My old dentist never did this for me. Dr. Carpender was very nice and Jana continues to be my favorite hygienist. As I've said before, I no longer dread going to the dentist. Dr. Freeman has the best dental staff in North Florida.

Negative experience: I don’t recommend going here, as a young adult going to get my teeth cleaned I felt very comfortable, everyone was so nice but at the end of my cleaning they told me that I have a very deep cavity, which was $2000 worth of work. I have never had a cavity and I take very good care of teeth so I went to another dentist to get a free second opinion.
