Fantastic experience: Nicki is a professional in every aspect of her job. Her knowledge, caring, personality and demeanor is refreshing. My Dentist (never remember her name) but she's the best this 71 year old guy has ever had. I had a tooth pulled to avoid crowns, Root canals, etc. This Dentist puts me at ease which fir me is not easy. I hated Dentists, even routine cleanings.

First root canal done yesterday and Dr. LaHaise was wonderful, very caring made sure I was comfortable made my experience with a dentist awesome.I am looking forward to my next visit. Negative experience: Definitely not the same as it used to be. Used to feel good about coming here. You are pretty much just a number now. No one cares about your concerns. Girls up front pretty much roll their eyes at you and no one ever calls you back. I asked to meet one of the dentists on my next appt but when I went in I was told she declined to meet me because it wasn’t necessary as I was only seeing the dental Asst today. Constantly rescheduling cleaning appts. And the cleanings are nothing more than what I already do at home. My daughter and son in law left the practice too. Very disappointing

Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Dr. LaHaise for years and she and the office staff have always been wonderful. When my elderly father started having tooth pain, it was clear it needed to be pulled. He hadn't seen a dentist in decades and has a fear of them. I convinced him to let me make an appt., Dr. Kabra had the earliest availability, although I didn't know him, getting in was priority. We had an amazing experience! We were pleasantly surprised they provided a live deaf interpretor for him, Dr. Kabra and the sweet young lady tech were over the top accommodating with his wheelchair, clearly communicating what treatment was needed, options, costs and making sure he was as comfortable as possible while being friendly and reassuring. The actual procedure pulling the tooth went as smooth as it possibly could and he had ZERO pain afterward. We were advised of after treatment care and over the counter medication to take for possible pain, soreness and bruising but he never needed anything at all. My father was so happy and told me he was the best dentist :) Not to mention the exceptionally reasonable cost for a cash patient with no insurance. I feel better knowing if and when the need comes again for a visit, my father's fears are greatly diminished. Thank you to everyone at Aviles!!

Fantastic experience: I recently relocated to St Augustine and was referred to Aviles for dental care. I had my first appointment yesterday and experienced a warm welcome. Flacy, the hygienist was just as kind and thoroughly cleaned and reviewed my oral health. Dr LaHaise was also comforting to me and provided a treatment plan to review. I left the office with a genuine feeling that everyone cared about me. Thank you!

I love getting the text reminders for my appointments and texts if any available spots opened up before my appointment.

Fantastic experience: The Dentist, Front Desk and Hygienist are all excellent at Aviles Dental. Flacy was exceptionally good at my teeth cleaning and the administration of the antibiotic injection to help save my tooth.

Negative experience: Very disappointed. Lots of miscommunication and confusion among staff and with me. I kept getting conflicting information, some staff saying my insurance covered their services while others were adamant that they didn’t. The tech person was supposed to send me new pt forms to fill out, but did not do so, which meant I had to spend 20 minutes at the appointment completing them. Ok, no problem but maybe thats why the Hygienist was so unfriendly and rude, cutting off my explanation, rushing me through everything and being way more aggressive with my mouth than was necessary. Then for the exam, I didn't get the dentist I had requested but rather someone who looked very young and inexperienced. Two days later staff called to schedule the same appointment I had just had! After arguing with me about whether I had just had a cleaning, she found they actually had created two different files for me. Subsequently they sent me a bill for the cleaning which was not included when I checked out. What a mess - and no explanation or apology about any of it!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Avile Dentist for 5 years and each check up is very organized. The techniques they use with water to clean the teeth and minimize the pain of the cleaning is really nice and a different way to clean the teeth. My hygienist explained each step of the process. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: I had a little bit of a problem, in that my tooth was really bothering me, my dentist had moved and I was leaving the country for four months in a week. I called Dr Lahaise's office based on the reviews I found on the Internet. They were fully booked, but when I explained the situation they found a way to work me in! I went to my appointment and the staff was outstanding, very pleasant and helpful. My dental assistant was professional and absolutely precious! Dr Lahaise was the best, very personable and professional, she showed me what was going on with my tooth and advised me that I would need a procedure that they did not offer at that office. Then they recommended some dentists to me because I didn't know of any one and got an appointment for me within the week that I had before I had to leave. I can't say enough good things about my visit, I left the office feeling great about the visit!

Positive experience: The staff is friendly, but it's obvious that it's a corporate owned and run business. The waiting room was very cold and uncomfortable. And, if the prices increase again this year, I will be shopping other local dentist offices and won't return!

Negative experience: If your associates offer a service at a minimum they should inform the individual that there will be a charge or not a charge for that service. And provide the cost. You just don't offer a service and then charge for it. Very DISAPPOINTED

We went to our established Pediatric dentist and they couldn’t get him in to repair his teeth until the end of July. Aviles got us in the next day & did a great job. My son asked if Dr.LaHaise could be his new dentist.

Fantastic experience: I have had my share of dental work done in my life, and I dread going to the dentist as most people do, but I have to say my experience with Aviles Dental Care and Dr Kabra was one of the best dental experiences I think I ever had. I highly recommend this office and dentist!!!

Negative experience: I booked new patient appointments with Aviles under a special they were offering for $79. They could not fit us in for 3 months so I took the first available appointments. They called to confirm and told us that they are no longer honoring that price, even though they confirmed it at booking and again two weeks ago when they called and asked me to come in earlier. The fee is now $438. I told them that this is lousy business practice and cancelled both appointments. POOR business practice.

Fantastic experience: They are awesome. Dr. Lahaise, Nikki, and the office staff are top-notch. I would recommend this practice in a heartbeat. They are extremely competent, professional and friendly. I used to drive all the way to Ponte Vedra but decided to make the change since I live in Palencia. I'm so glad that I did!

Negative experience: I saw great reviews for this place and was excited to try it, but ending up getting yelled at by a hygienist. The front desk was helpful and friendly. My hygienist took me back for a cleaning and check up. The dentist came and saw me and he was very empathetic and understood that I was feeling overwhelmed at the dentist. He was patient and kind with me while I processed the treatment plan. My hygienist I believe took personal offense and was very rude. When she went to walk me upfront she told the front desk the next time I come in I need to be with another hygienist and then walked away and then yelled down the hallway that no hygienist would ever want to work with me. I found this extremely unprofessional and borderline verbally abusive. I thanked the front desk lady for my treatment plan and then told the front desk lady I would not be coming back to complete the plan because no one should be treated like that. I hope management addresses her behavior.

Fantastic experience: I had a great visit my hygienist does a great job. I also asked her to take of image on my lower right because the tissue felt sensitive and I'm currently getting chemo so I wanted to make sure nothing was brewing. She took 2 pictures and Dr.Kabra came in and checked the images and did exam and said everything looks good, which was a relief. Everyone in the office is very friendly and welcoming. Great office and staff!

And if you like fishing, ask for Keely as your hygienist — she’ll have plenty of angler stories to tell while she’s cleaning your teeth. All in all, you couldn’t ask for a more pleasant dental experience..... great group of individuals.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely recommend coming to this dental office. I have absolutely dreaded going to the dental offices due to bad experiences in the past. Overall from start to finish this was the best dentist appointment I have ever had. I was recommended by my father and don’t regret it one bit. I have my next appointment soon and I can’t wait to go back. The dental hygienist I got was the best will definitely be asking for her again. The doctor was upfront and honest about what my teeth needed and his opinion on what I should do. They didn’t push to get me to do anything and they talked me through everything. That first appointment may sound long for an hour and half but it goes by quicker then you think. They have state of the art equipment that takes 3D scans of your teeth and they can show you in a screen how you whole mouth looks. 10/10 recommend you to try them out. You won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kabra is amazing. He's gentle, non judgemental, and has a very calming demeanor. Appointments never feel rushed and he thoroughly answers all questions or concerns you have. 1000% recommend

Fantastic experience: Dr. Lahaise is fantastic, but I would stay away from Dr. Kabra. He has a poor chair side manner and zero empathy for his patients. Sadly, I have experienced him acting like an absolute jerk. While I continue to use this office for all my dental needs, I steer clear of Dr. Kabra and will not allow him to evaluate me under any circumstance. Dr. Lahaise on the other hand is as good as they come, thus the five star rating.

Positive experience: I have been a patient for three years. They take me on time and my experience with Kirsten, the hygenist, is always good (though the others can be rough on my teeth). My rating is based on the office staff. While some are friendly and efficient, others make you feel like you are interrupting their day. Both at check-out and a follow up phone call with Sherry, i received less than standard service. We are patients and we are customers with choices for dental care in every strip mall. Please treat us respectfully.

Fantastic experience: My routine cleaning visit was absolutely great. I really like the 7 AM appointment that are available on Thursdays which makes it easy to get in and get your teeth cleaned and then get to work on time without having to interrupt your work schedule. The staff are wonderful people and very professional and courteous. I absolute love my hygenist Nikki as she takes great care of my teeth. Now if I can only get myself to do the same. I haven’t had any disappointments at Aviles Dental Care since I have been going there for about two years now. I definitely recommend Aviles to anyone for their dental care.
